Lamaze for Vicki

Merrill was grateful he was able to get her signed up for Lamaze classes before they sailed again and he was going to be in the delivery room this time around which was going to be different for him cause he was not in the room when Vicki was born so this was going to be different

"Should I have a backup coach in case you pass out?" Vicki asks him as they headed for the hospital that night for class cause the ship was going to sail the next day

"No I shall be fine hopefully and if I do pass out Gopher is on deck" Merrill says cause he needed to have a back up person in case he passes out or he has to be on the bridge when she has the baby and he was hoping that the bridge could handle the problem when Vicki has the baby cause that was not going to be good at all

"I know he will need the practice for when Julie goes into labor" Vicki says as they boarded the elevator to go to where ethe class was being held at

"Yeah for sure" Merrill says as he hots the button to go to the floor

(Labor and delivery floor)

"I hope I deliver on the ship and not here" Vicki says as she heard the moans and groans from the rooms

"If you deliver here it will be better and everyone will be able to see the bay through the window in the nursery" Merrill says as they head for the classroom where the class was being held at

"Yeah, and it will be a lot better then the ship" she says as they still headed for the classroom

"Have you picked out a name for the baby?" he asks her as they arrive at the class

"Georgina for a girl after mom and Merrill if it's a boy cause I want to name the baby after you and mom" Vicki says as she was thinking about the middle name for the baby

Merrill sheds a tear or two cause he was honored that the baby was going to be named after either him or Georgina and he was hoping he was going to have a granddaughter

"Okay go find a spot Vicki I'll be over with the mat" he says as he signs them in for class

Vicki finds her spots and she starts getting comfortable

"I am glad you are wearing your everyday clothes for tonight's class" she says as she was getting her pillow so her back was comfortable as well

"Me too I will have something planned when the big moment comes cause I hate to wear my nice Captain's attire" he says as he was getting out her focus object for the breathing part of the class

Vicki felt comfortable with her dad being there and she knew her mom was there in spirit as well and she was a lucky girl to be loved by so many people right now

"Vicki are you going to let Trig be a part of the baby's life?" Merrill asks her

"It's up to him if he wants to be in it or not I am not going to pressure him into being in the baby's life cause you did not come into my life until way later and if the baby wants to know who their dad is I am going to let them have that choice cause mom, Aunt Delores and you did a good job at raising me and look at how I turned out" Vicki says as she was doing her breathing exercises right now

Merrill knew that she was right about that part cause she had a great upbringing from all three of her family members

"I think you are making a good decision about what is best for you and the baby" Merrill says as he was trying to keep her focus on what she was supposed to be doing at the moment and that was breathing

Soon the class was going to be working with their plastic babies and Merrill was excited about that part cause we was not there for both of his girls when they were born, and he had experience with Marisol and now he will get to experience it with his grandchild when they arrive

"I am glad I actually get a second chance to do this right from the start" he says as he was swaddling the plastic baby in his arms cause the class was going to be raking the babies home for practice, and get used to having that baby around cause it had batteries

"Me too I know you will be amazing" she says as they were going to go back to the ship to rest and relax before they sailed again

"I hope I have enough courage to be in the delivery room" he says as they were leaving

"Dad you will be amazing no matter what happens" Vicki says as she left

(Ship)

"Gopher I am going to need for you to be on standby in case I can't be in the delivery room with Vicki when it comes time for her to have the baby

"I am cool with that just watch videos to help you get prepared as well so you can be Vicki's rock in the delivery room" Gopher tells him

"I think I will I hope I don't get sympathy pains cause of all of the attention that Vicki and Marisol is getting" Merrill says as him and Marisol were going to walk back to his cabin and she was going to take her afternoon nap cause she had a busy morning with her friend playing and chasing each other as well right now cause those two were something special to their parents

"I hope not either that means who takes over the ship?" Julie asks him

"The deputy captain then it goes from there" Merrill says to her
