Two days later

Noah and Riley were sleeping when they heard a loud crack; then two pops and someone yelling 'where is she'. Riley climbed out of her bed and walked to the door, easing it open a crack.

Olivia was crouched behind the couch while two men were moving towards her. There was another flash and then two more all with loud bangs; Olivia fell back. Olivia cried out and there was blood around her.

Riley looked over at Noah's room when she heard a noise.

"Riley." Noah said

Riley did not say anything, she just told Noah to go into mom's room while she went to get Jasmine.

Once Jasmine, Noah, and Riley were in Olivia's room she locked the door.

"Riley what is going on? Where is mom?" Noah asked

"Noah be quiet." Riley said

Out in the living room

Olivia had pushed one over; his head hit a table and Olivia twisted reaching for the gun. But then the other man knocked Olivia out.

The other men started walking to Olivia's room.

Riley started thinking about a plan and fast.

Riley had moved Noah and Jasmine to the bathroom and locked the door.

Riley put up her phone and called the only person she knew that could help; Amanda.

"Rollins." Amanda answered.

"Amanda it Riley…" Riley was cut off by banging on the door.

"Open the door bitch." The man said on the other side of the door.

"Riley what is going on?" Amanda asked as she got ready.

"I don't know, I woke up to gunshots. Liv has been shot and I think they are after me." Riley said

"Where are you, Riley? Are Jasmine and Noah with you?" Amanda asked

"We're in Liv's room. Well, Jasmine and Noah are locked in the bathroom Liv room.

"I'm on my way Riley." Amanda said as she started her car.

"Okay, please hurry." Riley said as she hung up the phone

Amanda races to Olivia's home, calling back up on the way.

Once Riley got off the phone the bedroom doorway kicked in.

"There you are bitch." The man said as he grabbed Riley by her hair.

"Let me go." Riley said as she started fighting.

"Shut up." The man said as he slammed Riley against the wall.

Riley took that moment to use her legs to knock this man over.

And it worked. He fell right on his ass. Before he could get up Amanda and Kat walked in with guns in their hands.

"NYPD hands up." Kat yelled as she and Amanda pointed the gun at him.

He did what he was told.

Kat handcuffed him and dragged him out of the room. Once they were out of the room Amanda turned around and looked at Riley.

"Are you okay?" Amanda's voice was gentle.

Riley just nodded as she walked over to the bathroom door and knocked gently on the door.

Amanda sighed knowing that Riley would not say anything for a while.

Over by the bathroom door, Noah slowly opens the show. Noah had Jasmine in his arms.

"Where is mom? Why were the gunshots?" Noah asked as he walked out of the bathroom.

"Your mom is going to the hospital." Amanda said

"Is she going to be okay?" Noah asked

"Yeah, come on, we can go to the hospital and see her." Amanda said as they walked out of the apartment.

Kat and Fin stay at the scene.

The hospital

Amanda, Noah, and Riley who was holding Jasmine are waiting in the waiting room.

A few minutes later

Fin, Kat, and Carisi arrived at the hospital. As Olivia's doctor walked into the waiting room.

"Family of Olivia Benson." The doctor said

"That's us." Fin said

"Okay so, many of her injuries are superficial but ugly. We have her sedated right now but she should wake up within the next few hours. You can go in and see her if you want." The doctor said

Amanda, Noah, and Riley walked over to Olivia's room.

They stayed for a few moments before leaving to let others take their turns to see Olivia.

The next day

Olivia finally woke up.

"Mom." Noah said when he noticed that Olivia was awake.

"Hi baby." Olivia said with a gentle voice as she pulled Noah in for a tight hug.

"Are you ok?" He asked

"I am now." Olivia said

"Where is Riley?"Olivia asked

"Well she got mad and stormed off." Noah said

"Why?" Olivia asked Amanda

"She got mad because she did not want to eat and she stormed off." Amanda said

"After she throws her food at you?" Fin said with a smile as he walked into the room with Jasmine in his arms.

"Where is she now?" Olivia asked

"Kat chased after her, so i don't know." Amanda said

Olivia just sighed.

They spend a few more minutes together before Fin took Noah and Jasmine with him.

"How do you honestly feel?" Amanda asked

" Like I got hit by a truck." Olivia smiled a little.

"How are they?" Olivia asked

"Noah is Shaken but other than that he feels. Riley on the other hand is not okay. She has not said anything since last night." Amanda said as there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Olivia said

The door opened and Kat and Riley were standing on the other side of the door. Riley walked up to Amanda.

"I'm sorry for throwing food at you." Riley said

"It's okay honey, I'm not mad at you." Amanda said as hugged Riley then whispered something in Riley's ear.

"I will." Riley whispers back.

"Great, so we will leave you two to talk. We will talk later." Amanda told Olivia.

Olivia just nodded her head.

Then Kat and Amanda left.

"Will you come here?" Olivia said with One arm reached out.

Riley walked over to Olivia.

"How are you feeling?" Riley asked

"I'm fine. I'm worried about you." Olivia said

"About me, why?" Riley asked

"What happened last night was hard, probably hard on you." Olivia said

"I don't want to talk about this." Riley said as she got up.

"Okay we want to talk about, but promise me one thing that you will come to me when you are ready to talk." Olivia said

"Okay. Did you know that Kat runs faster than you?" Riley said

"Really." Olivia said

"Yes really. I'm going to go get my daughter." Riley said as she walked out of the living room.

Olivia just sighed. She knows that this is going to be hard on Riley and hopefully this does not push Riley back to the start.
