Percys perspective.
So hi. Sorry I haven't been able to update lately but I've been super busy. Let me just say tho that I do have the intension of updating sooner.
Percy got in his car and grabbed his forehead. He exhaled, frustrated.
"Ugh! Why does she have to be so...dramatic. I was just trying to help."
He then turned on his car and pulled off the curb.
"I need a break."
Percy knew he had to finish grading his papers. His classroom would be expecting their report cards soon and these papers covered 20% of their grade. However after his scuffle with Annabeth it was clear that he would have a hard time being able grade properly while at the same time not thinking about how stubborn she was being.
'If she wasn't so stubborn, she'd make a good mom.' Percy thought.
Once Percy reached his destination, he made his way up to the apartment his friend lived in in order to be able to do his work while at the same time talk to someone who could give him some advice.
He knocked on the door and his blonde friend opened the door.
"Hey Percy. How's it going?" Jason said with a grin.
"Hey Jason. Can I come in?"
"Sure. Piper isn't here right now, but Frank and Leo are."
He then turned his head and spoke aloud, "Hey guys, Percy's here!"
He then turned around and headed for the kitchen and Percy soon followed.
Jason sat at the dining table and gestured for Percy to join him. However, remembering what Annabeth and him did last time they were here Percy didn't feel comfortable sitting there as it was...tainted.
"Umm, can we sit in the living room?"
Jason nodded. "Sure."
Frank and Leo were in there playing Mario Kart and were on their final lap, and of course Leo was losing despite the fact that he was a prodigy of technology. Frank was playing with a blank poker face.
"No, no, no...damn it! How do you do it you...overly nice...dude come on!" Leo complained.
"Is that supposed to be a burn or some kind of lame attempted insult?" Frank inquired.
Leo was silent for a moment before responding like an immature child.
"Maybe."
Jason rolled his eyes. "Leo quit complaining some of us have real problems you know."
Percy snorted. "Yeah like marriage."
"Ooohhh...!" The three other guys teased.
'Huh, did I say that out-loud? Damn it.'
"So has Annabeth not been the best in terms of happy wife happy life Percy?"
"No she's been really moody lately. She has her deadline with her contractors soon and I don't think she values my moral support. She says that it gets in her way."
Leo tsked. "Shit dude. I wish I could sympathize, but me and Cali are on EXCELLENT terms."
"Yeah right! She kicked you out of the apartment yesterday; that's why you slept the night here dude!" Jason laughed.
Leo waved his hand dismissively. "A minor bump in the road. But she knows who runs the show."
Guys come on seriously. Percy do you need anything?"
Percy shocked his head. " No. I just need to finish these papers as soon a possible if that's okay. Just keep it down okay?
"Sure no problem."
Problem.
After 2 hours of playing Mario Kart it was just getting louder and louder especially whenever Leo lost. (which was %100 of the time.)
By some miracle Percydid manage to finish grading his tests and he was able to leave promptly.
Great here we go now. Annabeth.
As he parked in front of his apartment, he looked up at the window. He then looked down the street and saw the Yankers Pub. He laughed as he saw that someone had spray painted an "E" at the end of "Pub" which made it sound more dirty.
THE YANKERS PUB-E.
"Hehe. I guess one drink wouldn't hurt."
Percy was right. He didn't drink a lot, he had no reason really to do it, but now he needed courage and only the Pub-e could give it to him.
