Well just like that Annabeth had decided to tell Percy about their impending parenthood.

After her talk with the girls, she called Percy and left him a voice message on his phone saying she needed him to come home so that they could talk and make up. She wanted to apologize for lashing out at him. Now was no time to be fighting.

"It's been almost 5 hours since he left. Should I be concerned?" She said with a worried tone.

"Nah. Trust me. Percy wouldn't do something stupid considering he still thinks he's at fault for your fight. When he gets back he'll be apologizing." Piper explained.

"I don't want his apology; he didn't do anything wrong." Responded Annabeth.

"If you don't count my house," she muttered.

"Piper, how many times do I have to say it? I'm sorry. It was the heat of the moment for us and to be honest it wasn't anything personal!"

"Whatever, mom," Piper said changing the channel in the living room tv. "Don't you have any decent channels other than Discovery, History, Cartoon Network, or Disney channel?"

Annabeth rolled her eyes and went to her room to take a shower. After yelling, crying, and eating a bunch of junk she need to cleanse herself. She only lasted about 5 minutes and quickly changed into some pants and a grey tank top. When she left her room Piper and Hazel were on Disney Channel.

"Gravity Falls? What are you 12?" She asked.

"Your channels are boring. At least Percy has some sense of proper entertainment value."

She began to think it was dark out soon. It was only 9:30, but still she wanted to have Percy home not just because she wanted to talk but because she wanted him with her at home. She loved having his presence and his absence was making her sad.

"Well, I think I should get going,", said Hazel, patting her knees and standing up. "Good luck. If we see or hear from Percy we'll let you know."

"Yeah it's pretty late plus I need to get back to my home. My tainted home!" Piper exclaimed.

Annabeth rolled her eyes again. When the door shut again. She collapsed on the couch, the TV was still playing. "He-he. That was kinda funny," she chuckled at its bizarre humor. She got more comfortable and wished she understood more about it to talk about it with Percy.

About ten minutes after the girls had left the door swung open, and her tiresome looking husband walked in.

Annabeth jumped up off the couch with a small smile. "Percy, there you are I was worried! I kept calling but you didn't answer your phone! Listen we need to talk. I-,"

"Wait. Stop right there." Percy's voiced sounded slurred. His hair was a mess and he was sweaty all over.

"Percy are you...drunk?" She said worryingly.

"I only had four beers but that's not the point. Before you say anything else, don't judge me because I'm drunk, judge what I'll say while I'm drunk." He said pointing upwards.

Percy took a deep breathe.

"I'm sorry."

Annabeth's eyes widened. What?

"What?"

"You heard me. I was wrong. I'm not the child of Athena in this relationship. Annabeth your intelligence is like eighty percent of the reason I married you, I AM a seaweed brain. I could never survive without you. Which is why I have to admit that I was getting in your way. So there. I apologize to you."

Annabeth couldn't believe what she was hearing she really thought that Percy would want to continue to fighting and that hopefully she would prevent that by apologizing first and then revealing their upcoming parenthood. But now Percy was apologizing for something they probably both know isn't true.

"Percy...no, listen. I-"

"Not now Annabeth. I have a lot to do tomorrow. Just like you. So I'll go take a shower and go to bed. I'll leave you alone to do your work.

And with that Percy left without another word leaving Annabeth upset and saddened.
