The Equestria Girls and Kerry are now getting ready for their next match. They have defeated the Las Pegasus team as a matter of fact. They are having a good season so far of course. They are about to face off against the Everfree team by the way. They have never played against them before. Let's hope that the girls will be having a good match.
"Good season for us, Sunset." said Rainbow Dash.
"It sure is, girls." said Sunset Shimmer. "In fact, we have defeated the Las Pegasus team yesterday."
"It was nice for them to come over." said Twilight.
"Yes, it was." said Sunset Shimmer. "We are about to get ready for our next match."
"Who are we playing against?" Applejack asked.
"We are about to play against the Everfree team." said Sunset Shimmer.
"That is going to be a tough one." said Twilight.
"I know, girls." said Sunset Shimmer. "We got this."
"We better get to the stadium." said Kerry.
Sunset Shimmer and her friends went to the stadium, and they saw the crowd cheering to them. Then, the girls saw the Everfree team coming out of the locker room.
"They are here, girls." said Sunset Shimmer.
"Good afternoon." said Flash Sentry. "Today, your team Canterlot will square off against the Everfree team."
Later after the national anthem, the game between team Canterlot and the Everfree team is now underway.
"Play ball!" shout Fluttershy.
"Time for me to throw the ball." said Sunset Shimmer.
She throws the ball and an Everfree player misses a swing.
"Strike one." said Fluttershy.
"I can't believe I missed a swing." said an Everfree player.
Sunset Shimmer throws it again and an Everfree player hits it.
"We better catch it, girls." said Pinkie Pie. "The ball is coming right towards us."
They saw Twilight caught the ball.
"Great catch, Twilight." said Kerry.
"Thanks, Kerry." said Twilight. "I am good at catching the ball."
"You sure are." said Pinkie Pie. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
