The Equestria Girls and Kerry are now getting ready for their first round of the baseball playoffs. They have a winning record as a matter of fact. They have defeated a lot of their opponents of course. They had a good season by the way. They are the defending champions as last year's baseball playoffs. Let's hope that the girls will be having a good match.

"Good practice, Sunset." said Rainbow Dash.

"It sure was." said Sunset Shimmer. "In fact, we are getting ready for the baseball playoffs."

"We are the defending champions, Sunset." said Twilight.

"That is true, Twilight." said Sunset Shimmer. "We had a winning season last season."

"We also had a winning season this season." said Rainbow Dash.

"We sure do." said Pinkie Pie. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."

"I wonder who we are playing against." said Applejack.

"We are going to play against the scientist team." said Sunset Shimmer.

"We better get going, Sunset." said Kerry.

The girls went to the baseball stadium, and they saw a full of crowd.

"They are cheering for us." said Rainbow Dash.

The girls saw the scientist team coming out of the locker room.

"Welcome to the first round." said Flash Sentry. "Your team Canterlot will face off against the scientist team."

After the national anthem, the game between team Canterlot and the scientist team is now underway.

"Play ball!" shout Fluttershy.

"I'll better keep an eye on the ball." said a scientist player.

Sunset Shimmer throws the ball, and he misses the swing.

"Strike one!" shout Fluttershy.

"I can't believe I missed a swing." said a scientist player.

Sunset Shimmer throws it again and he hits it.

"The ball is coming right towards us." said Kerry.

They saw Rainbow Dash caught the ball.

"Great catch, Rainbow." said Kerry.

"Thanks, Kerry." said Rainbow Dash. "I am good at catching the ball."

"That is our first out of the game." said Applejack.

"The next batter is here." said Twilight.
