Nico PoV

poseidon cabin

I shadow traveled to Angel's room to find here packing "what are you doing" i asked. "packing, as you can see. Zeus wants me dead" she went silent for a moment she didn't realise I was right behind her. She turned around bringing our faces close together she hugged me tightly "I don't want to die." she said blankly into my black shirt "I won't let them take you away from me again." I hugged her tightly "Riportami in Italia amore. (take me back to Italy, Love)" she spoke to me in a language I hadn't heard in years "the first time wasn't enough." I joked about one of our previous adventures."Qualsiasi cosa per te cara (anything for you dear.) " I spoke the language I had buried deep in my mind trying to forget.

she finished packing and we shadow traveled to the house I grew up in it had been refurbished many times but I had stayed in it the last time I left the camps. We appeared in the master bedroom. it had taken a lot of strength to get us here so I was tired. Angel helped me over to the Alaskan king size bed. I hid it from most people but after I turned 18 I inherited a lot of money and as my moms side of the family died while I was still alive I got even more money, Hazel didn't even know how much money i had. Angel laid down next to me on her side so I rolled of my back and onto my side to face her. I put my arm around her waist and pulled her to me I kissed her forehead gently "mi sei mancato tanto amore mio my." (I missed you so much my love) she just laughed "now go to sleep nico" she said as she ran her hand through my hair. I fell asleep almost immediately.

percy pov

I was sitting with Annabeth on my lap on the dock in the canoe lake when suddenly we hear 'Nico you tricked me.' I heard Nico laugh I think I hadn't heard it since we were little. She looked away from the horizon to look at me with the same look I was giving her. We both got up and took of toward where the sound was coming from off to the side of the poseidon cabin. When they arrived they found angel scowling at a Smiling Nico! thyy were suprised by the fact they had suit cases and Nico was smiling. Angel said something in a language that wasn't english, greek, latin, or even spanish.

After they were comfortable on the couch. They told us they went back to Italy, Angel fell asleep in Nico's arms halfway threw the story. "wait back, BACK?" "yes If it is hard to beleive we grew up in italy." Nico said looking smug "I feel like I don't know you Nico." I said shaking my head in disbelief. Just then Piper came running threw the door Yelling "NICO HAS A GIRLFREIND?" in complete disbeleif her eyes finally landed on the sleeping girl in Nico's arms who suddenly stirred a bit "oops" she wispered queitly. Nico just got up and walked to the stair case and up it to take angel to her room.

he came down Five minutes later and glared at piper. "The one time she doesn't have nightmares and you have to come and almost wake her up?" "sorry" she responded shyly. "what happened Nico?" Jason asked "what do you mean what happened? she came back through a portal, her life threatened, and trained." he said casually "No like who is she?" Nico sighed "Her name is Angel Magne." piper nodded "odd last name though." "not in the 60's." he stated "how do you know here litterally I heard from Jason she showed up went to olympus and ran off with a random girl after three days to some random place." "we went to itally not some random place and I have known angel since forever." You came to camp halfblood when you were 9." he looked almost mad but didn't show it that much "No I didn't you all don't know anything about me and appearently are bad a picking out people who are acting!" he yelled stomping up to Angel's room. "guys" I said hesitantly "I don't think we have ever skimmed the surface of who nico is." "I think maybe we should ask chiron to better understand. we all got up and headed to the big house.

Nico POV

after I stomped upstairs mad at the people who thought they knew me and didn't even try to. I went over to the bed and lay down next to Angel. She automatically snuggled closer to me in my arms. I felt complete once again just watching her sleep lit up my world.

I sat there just watching her sleep for an hour eventually she started to wake up around 12:30. I kissed the tip of her nose and she smiled "Ciao luce mia (hello my light) " her eyes immediatly lit up and i was confused "lets go for a ride." I frowned knowing what was going to happen. Reluctantly I went to the stables with here.

back at the big house

as the 7 demigods marched up the steps chiron greeted them "i knew you would come sooner or later. I will tell you what I can"

They went to chiron's office "Chiron who really is Nico" percy said wearily " Nico kept up an act that his memory was eraesed much like the god's and mine. He didn't want to be killed because he knew too much." that didn't really clear up so he sighed and went on "Nico actually came her when he was a baby along with bianca and angel. Their families were close. Nico and angel grew up together here and in italy when angel was 4 her mother Elizabeth died a lot of people who knew here were devistated. Angel was taken in by her uncle and continued the same life routine as Angel and Nico got older their freindshipped blossomed to something more much like annabeths and percy's." They looked at each other and smiled at the reminder of their eirlier years together. Chiron continued "Nico and Angel were at camp. Nico was going to see maria and bianca who were in italy at the time maria's birthday was coming up. Angel was going to out two days after Nico. After Nico left the next day everything happened. Nico was heart broken and the story of the hotel is mostly true except instead of whipping their memories her turned their ages back to make them look more suspicous." Percy suddenly realised something "that's why Nico held on to Bianca so much. " I said " and had looked up to you so much you reminded him of angel." annabeth added on. "Yes and that is why he resented you after you failed because he thought you didn't care much about bianca. He actually constantly compared you to Angel." Chiron clarified. To these seven demigods they finally found something out about the person they thought was their freind and cousin.
