After a few minutes Vincent and I were getting prepped for the journey. Twenty minutes later, we would meet back at the entrance to Above.

I was at the entrance first, in my full body black satin cloak that Vincent gave me for my birthday a few years ago. I smiled as I remembered that day as I felt the texture of the cloak, Vincent went through such a hassle to getting it for me and had Madam Wendy made it into a cloak.

I was happy when he gave it to me, it was the first time I hugged him, he was tense at first but then put his arms gently around me, holding me close. The memory slowly fades as in bring myself back to the present.

As I was waited for him, I was lost in thought about my dreams. "Could the dreams be a provision of what might come? Or am I getting ahead of myself?" I thought as I paced, back and forth.

I exhaled as I shook my head to rid of thoughts. "No its ridiculous...it was a dream." I thought.

Then my thought were interrupted by a large hand on my shoulder, I quickly turned and saw that is was Vincent. "Ready to go?" He said.

I nodded, as I started to head out he stopped me. "Are you ok?...you seemed distant for a moment there...you sure you want to go?" He said looking at me.

I stared at him back, I smiled and nodded. "Yeah..I'm alright.. I was just thinking about something...come on.. lets get going." I said. He nodded in understanding as we went through the entrance.

We looked at each other, as we slowly looked around to make sure there was no one in sight. He nodded as the coast was clear, I nodded as well as we dashed into the night.

We looked into the obvious places to find Devin unfortunately, we didn't find him. Devin must obviously did not want to found.

For hours we were continued searching for him and all that time I felt as if something or someone was watching me. While Vincent was looking into an recent abandoned building, I looked through the window as if looking for anything that might appear as a treat as to me as much as Vincent.

My nerves were on high end, it felt like something was going to happen. "Hey..." Vincent said as I quickly turned to him, tense and ready to fight.

"What wrong?..." He said looking at my stance. "I have a feeling that someone or something is watching us." I said still looking around us.

He swiftly looked around as well, then looks back at me. "Alright...we'll keep on the look out while trying to find Devin..." He said.

I nodded as we ran and went to another building. In that build we saw signs of Devin being here, so we went further inside the building.

As we got to hallway we heard some noises in a room. I put a hand out for Vincent to see, he stopped and looked at me.

I put my finger up to my lip, telling him to be quiet, he nodded in understanding. I nodded back and got closer to the door.

"Devin...are you there?" I whispered. Waited for a few minutes, heard a soft sigh and heard footsteps coming to the door.

"Who is it?...Whatever it is...leave me alone." He said as the footsteps started to recede. "Wait... Devin... it me...Mina." I whispered.

Then the door slowly opened a crack with Devin behind it. "Mina?...what are you doing here?" He said.

I rolled my eyes as he opened the door. "Trying to find you of course... Father needs you." I said as came in with Vincent.

"Vincent...what are you doing here?" He said. "Well...he here because we made a deal to find you...also I needed assistance." I said.

Devin scuffed at that remark and chuckled a bit. "Really?!... You need assistance?" He said coming closer to me.

I raised a brow on that comment. "What... At least Vincent helps when its needed, unless you prove yourself other wise?!" I said hoping he takes the bait.

"(Sigh)...Well if you put that way...I'll go, see Father, find out what he wants...I'll leave you guys alone...see ya." He said as he left. I looked at Vincent, he did the same thing, we looked away.

He looked back, walked toward me and smiled. I raised an brow in confusion, but wondering what he was thinking.

I smiled in seriousness at him. "What?!" I said as I turned to him.

"See... how make that went swimmingly with you here?" He said. "I guess...but you could have gotten him without me..you know." I said as I moved and looked away.

He sighed as he moved towards the door. " I know...but you make it smoother with the harshness in people...especially with ones who are stubborn." He said as he went through the door.

I followed in suit. We were in the halls, I stopped and looked in an opened room at a window.

I stayed there for a moment in silence, seeing if there was movement outside. "See anything?" Vincent said close to me. I turned my head quickly and saw Vincent's face close to mine.
