Kermit the Frog is not one to get sick.
Kermit the Frog is certainly not one to wake up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous.
Kermit the Frog is not one to feel nauseous to the point of emptying his stomach contents in the nearest available object he could get his hands on, which happened to be his little trash can next to his bed. At 1 in the morning.
He just hope he doesn't wake anybody else.
But he did.
Robin woke up startled by the noises he was hearing. He knew that something was wrong when he heard his uncle. He jumped out of bed and went to check on Kermit. Robin knocked on the door and called out "Uncle Kermit? Are you okay?" while turning on the light. Closing the door behind him, Robin turned his attention towards his Uncle's bed.
Kermit was at this point on the ground so that he was more closer to the little trash can, hunched over. He was lucky he had it in that moment of time.
Kermit didn't hear or see Robin come in to check on him until he felt pressure on his back from a small hand. He was beginning to feel lightheaded anytime he moved.
"Uncle Kermit? Are you okay?" Robin asked again, after joining his Uncle. All Kermit could do was shake his head before he thrust his head back into the trash can. Robin rubbed Kermit back with his hand in tiny circles.
"It's going to be okay, Uncle Kermit. Do you think it was something you ate?" Again, all Kermit could do was a tiny shake of the head. Robin continued to rub his had on Kermit's back, thinking it was helping him get it out of his system.
Robin had never seen his Uncle so pale when Kermit got his head out of the trash can and looked at him. He also was very shocked at the fact that his Uncle was now shaking uncontrollably.
Robin knew right away he needed to get somebody.
But Piggy was out with Fozzie doing who-knows-what, Gonzo was trying out a new cannon at the Theatre, Rowlf was at his bar, and Scooter was sleeping by his computer. Robin didn't want to disturb them, so he did the next best thing; he grabbed his Uncle's phone and dialed 911.
"It's okay, Uncle Kermit. I'm gonna get you to the emergency room, don't worry. I'll leave a note for everybody telling them you got sick. If we have time, of course." Robin comforted his Uncle as soon as he was all done talking on the phone, making sure the front and bedroom doors were wide open.
Kermit felt like he was finished, so he put the trash can off to the side and attempted to lay down on the floor. He soon realized that he gained a massive headache from doing that, so laying down was off the list. He tried to stand, but that wasn't an option, either. He knew that Robin called 911. Smart boy, his parents taught him well he thought to himself.
Shortly after, Robin heard the sound of an ambulance. Yes, they arrived! Now Uncle Kermit can get some help!
Robin quickly moved out of the way when the paramedics entered the bedroom and got Uncle Kermit onto a stretcher.
"Hey kid," one of the paramedics turned to Robin, "are you coming or not?"
Robin nodded his head and followed the stretcher outside. He did make sure to grab Kermit's phone, a tiny blanket and a tiny pillow on the way out, as well as leave a note for Piggy. Kermit was placed into the ambulance, and Robin followed suit.
All Kermit could hear was the sound of the siren as the ambulance headed to the hospital.
