First of all, I hope you are having a very good day and that you are enjoying the story.

Second, I have something important to tell you. I do not know if I will be able to update in the next two weeks since I will be traveling. If I can I will try to upload chapter 10 in the course of those two weeks. If I can't update sooner, the next chapter will be published on June 28th.

Chapter 9

I looked at my watch for the third time in the last 20 minutes, it's 10 minutes to 7 pm and I still don't know what Hades wants to tell me about. From experience, it is never good when one of my father's brothers wants to talk to me. Although between Hades and Zeus I prefer that Hades wants to contact me. I feel a hand on my shoulder, I turn around and see Apollo smiling at me trying to reassure me.

"Percy don't worry, he surely doesn't want to say anything serious to you and he just wants to visit you to congratulate you on becoming a god"

"That's the problem, he already saw me and he congratulated me on immortality" I looked into his eyes, and just seeing them calmed me down a bit. "But you're right, I don't have to worry ahead of time"

"Good" Apollo grabbed my shoulder and hugged me "Come here and calm down"

I couldn't help but relax once I'm in his arms. We fell silent, after a few minutes we parted and looked at the clock.

"Let's go to my father's office, I want to be there to welcome Uncle Hades"

We walk down the hall that leads us to Poseidon's office, once at the door, we knock, a minute later my father tells us to go inside.

"Percy, Apollo!" My father says getting up from his chair. "Sit on the chairs, I don't think Hades will take longer to arrive."

"Hi Dad, do you know what Hades wants to talk to me about?" I ask him while looking into his eyes.

"Yes, and you don't have to worry about anything" I look at him carefully trying to see if he's lying, I can't find anything but honesty.

"OK"

Before I can say anything else we hear someone knocking on the door. My father sits up straighter and looks at me, I nod and he smiles.

"You can enter"

The door opens and Hades walks into the office, smiles at my father and me, seeing Apollo raise an eyebrow.

"Good afternoon. I didn't know Apollo was going to be at the meeting "He says as he watches us closely. I turned around and looked at Apollo, he nodded.

"If you want him to go, he can go. But since he was here today he came with me to the meeting "

"Don't worry, I trust him." Hades stares at Apollo. "And I trust that you do not say anything of what you will hear at the meeting"

"I promise," Apollo says seriously.

"Good" Hades sits in the remaining chair. "Let's get started, Percy, do you remember what we talked about the day you woke up?"

I nod. "Nico"

"Yes, Nico. I want to talk about everything with you before you see him again. "I nodded again. "First of all, I have to tell you Apollo that when Nico turns 21 he is going to be offered the same treatment as Percy" Apollo nods. "And you can't tell anyone about it."

"I'm not going to tell anyone, don't worry"

Hades stared at me.

"Percy you know Nico, you know how he is." I nodded. "You know that he doesn't like to socialize and that he prefers to be alone. "I think that made everything clear, didn't it brother?" My father says looking at Hades, hearing him speak startled me since I didn't remember that he was in the office with us. When he saw me, he smiled amusedly. "Percy, are you okay?"

"Dad" I complained.

My dad laughs and shakes his head.

"Now that the formal part is over, brother, do you want to stay for dinner with us?"

Hades smiles and nods his head.

"Of course, I haven't dined at your palace in a long time."

"That's because you don't come to visit, when you were young you used to visit me"

"Now I'm busy"

"Whatever you say"

"Dad, I almost forgot. Hermes said he wanted to eat here "

"Did Hermes invite himself to dinner at our house?"

Apollo laughs. "Yes, my brother has that habit."

"It's okay" My father smiles at us. "And Kym already warned us that she is not coming to dinner today, she said that lunch meets the daily quota of hours she wants to spend with us"

"And did you tell her that she has to make up for the days that she doesn't come to visit us?"

My father laughs. "I tried many times, maybe Triton or you could try"

I shake my head. "No, Rhode has more chances than we do." I look at him as I think of Kym. "Amphitrite, you know that even though she doesn't want to admit it, she loves mom."

My father smiles at me and looks at Apollo and Hades. "Kym likes to pretend a lot of things." He tells them in explanation.

Apollo looks at me. "Pegasus is dining here?"

I looked at my father and raised an eyebrow.

"I haven't seen him since lunch." Says my father while smiling

"He was trained with Triton, although I think so, he will surely stay here for a few days"

"Yes, he wants to spend time with Triton and with you. He misses you. "My father looks at me smiling. We heard a knock on the door. "Enters"

The door opens and Triton enters. Seeing us he raises an eyebrow.

"I did not know that you are still here"

"Don't worry, we're done." My father smiles at him.

"Hello, Uncle Hades" Triton walks over to my chair and sits on the armrest, ruffling my hair. "Brother, you abandoned me"

"Triton we were all together in the kitchen an hour ago"

"That does not mean that you did not abandon me, now you spend time with Apollo and you forget about me"

I elbow him in the leg. "Stop being so dramatic"

Triton hits me on the arm. "I'm not dramatic, you have no evidence"

"I have witnesses" I say while raising an eyebrow.

"Boys! Seriously?" Our father looks at us amused. "Triton you came for a reason."

"Yes! Mama says we eat in half an hour "

"Well, you have to tell him they're staying for dinner, Apollo and Hades. And maybe Hermes will come and eat. "My father looks at all of us. "We end the meeting"

Triton nods his head.

"Tri, Pegasus is staying to eat?" I tell him as I get up from the chair. Triton puts his arm around my shoulder and walks with me to the door.

"Yes, he is waiting for us outside, he said that he did not want to enter the office. I swear to you, Perce, I have no idea why he's scared of dad's office, "he says as he opens the door.

"Because whenever I come here I end up in trouble, this place has a curse or something"

I hear the laughter of our father behind us.

"Or something like that, more specifically that you always do things you shouldn't do." He falls silent. "Rather, the three of you do things that you shouldn't do."

Triton wraps his other arm around Pegasus's shoulders. And we turn to look at our father. I see Hades and Apollo looking at us amused.

"But we are saints, Dad. We never do anything. We behave as any son of Poseidon should behave. "

"I think there is the problem, brother. They behave as you do." Hades says approaching Poseidon.

We all laughed, the three of us together with Apollo began to walk down the hall. The last thing I hear before turning the corner is "You have no idea of the problems they are getting into."

"I imagine, they are your children after all."
