Hi!

How is everyone? I had planned to publish this chapter on Monday the 28th but there was a delay with the flight that was bringing me back home and I only arrived yesterday. Likewise, although this chapter is uploaded today, on Monday the updates are back to normal.

Chapter 10

I fell to the ground and can hardly breathe when I heard someone clearing their throat behind us.

"What the hell is happening here?" Ares and I turn around to see Apollo at the door of the training room.

I look at Ares and then look at Apollo with resignation.

"My training with Ares" I say wearily.

"Don't say it that way, it makes it look like I'm torturing you," Ares says, smiling wickedly.

I raised an eyebrow and looked at him. Then I looked at Apollo.

"Please help"

Apollo laughs out loud and walks over to me. He reaches out his hand, I grabbed it and he lifts me.

"Thanks, Apollo"

Ares cleared his throat, drawing our attention.

"Do you need to tell us something?" Ares says as Apollo raises an eyebrow. "Since you interrupted our training"

"Oh, nothing. I came to see Percy, I didn't know you were coming today "

Ares nods his head, then looks at me seriously.

"For today already ending, see you in two days?"

I nod and offer him my hand.

"Okay, in two days it's perfect"

Ares nods and grabs my hand, then shakes it.

"Apollo, Perseus. See you in a few days "He says before disappearing.

I glance at the place Ares had been for a second, then I turn and look at Apollo.

"Hello"

Apollo looks at me and smiles. "Hi, how was the training? Very bad?"

I sigh as I walk towards the door, I feel Apollo follow me.

"It could be worse, it's tiring but good"

Apollo walks over to me and puts his arm around my shoulders, squeezing them gently.

"In the time it will be for the better, and you will be the best god we can ask for"

I feel myself blush and shake my head as I look at the ground.

"I doubt it"

Apollo stops, turns me around, and forces me to look into his eyes. His gaze is intense.

"Percy, you're already the best of us and you just make us want to be better" I try to lower my gaze but Apollo looks up at me. "Hey, no. Look at me. You are the best and one day you will find out "

Hearing him I smiled and I can't help but want to believe him.

"If you say it"

"Yes, and now come with me that I want to take you aside" He says while he looks at me and smiles.

"Okay, I have to go tell someone I'm leaving so they don't get scared"

"I already told Triton and he told me that he was going to tell your father if he asked," he says while extending his hand.

"Well let's go" I take his hand and we disappear in a flash.

When I open my eyes again I see that we are in the camp, I turn and look at him in surprise.

"What are we doing here?" I say excitedly.

Apollo smiles broadly. "I knew you missed this and I asked your father if you could take the day off"

I smiled broadly at him and hugged him tightly. "Thanks, Thanks Thanks"

"You're welcome." Apollo smiles softly at me. "Now we're going to be late"

Apollo grabs my hand and leads us toward the big house. As we walked I observed the camp, in the month that I have been training the summer ended and there are not so many people in the camp anymore. In the distance we see Chiron standing in the big house, when I see him he smiled widely.

"Chiron!" I scream as I separate from Apollo to run towards the big house, hearing me he turns and looks at us.

"Lord Apollo, Lord ..." I look at Chiron with a frown. "Percy, what brings you here?"

Apollo comes to my side and places his arm around my shoulders.

"Today Percy has the afternoon off and I brought him to visit the camp."

Chiron smiles and gestures toward the interior of the big house.

"What?" We turn around and see that Chiron is looking at us in surprise, I smiled softly at him.

"We still didn't want to say anything but I don't think there is a problem with you knowing. Dionysus is going to train me to be the director of both camps, as soon as I assume that position I will spend a lot of time here and at Camp Jupiter "

I watch as Chiron's expression fills with happiness and he smiles at me.

"That's good news, I know the campers are going to be happy you're the principal."

I can't help but fidget, that's one of my biggest fears, that the campers don't take me seriously or that they take me badly that I'm the new Director.

"I hope so"

"We already talked about this. And I've already told you many times that the campers will be happy to see you often and to be their director "

"First of all, you know that Annabeth, Connor, Travis, Katie, Will, Nico, and all of them decided to stay for the year at Camp Jupiter and for the summer to come here." I nodded. "As far as I know, since I talk to them once a week, they are all fine, they miss you but they are fine. And then the last week of the camp happened that ... "

We spent the rest of the afternoon talking to Chiron about all the news in our lives during the time we didn't see each other. We were saying goodbye when we heard someone knock on the door.

"Happens!" Chiron said.

The door opens and I smile when I see who is on the other side. Grover opens the door without looking inside, when he looks up and sees us, he stops in his place and his eyes widen with surprise.

"Percy?"

I spread my arms and smiled at him.

"I'm the same as always, G-Man"

Grover smiles and runs to hug me.

"Percy!"

"Grover! I missed you "I say in his ear.

Grover hugs me tightly, then walks away when he realizes Apollo is in the room and leans in.

"Lord Apollo"

"Grover, you don't have to bow to me, a friend of Percy's is my friend." Hearing him I look at him and I smiled softly at him.

"Thank you" I gestured at him. Grover stands up and smiles. I walk over to him and put my arm around his shoulders and lead him to the table. We all sit back in it.

"Tell me all about the time when we didn't see each other" I tell him smiling.

"Business as usual, Percy. We look for more demigods, I watch over nature, I organized the satyrs… "Suddenly he falls silent and his smile grows bigger.

"What happens?"

"Juniper is pregnant"

"WHAT?" We say all three at the same time. I got up from the table, walked over to him, and hugged him lifting him off the floor.

"Congratulations, man. Tell me when Enebro is free I want to see how she is "

Grover smiles at me and nods.

"Congratulations, Grover," Apollo says as he places a hand on his shoulder. Grover blushes and thanks to him.

Chiron walks over and hugs him. And he whispers something in his ear that makes Grover cry and hold him tighter. After a while, he calms down and walks away from Chiron. When he walks away I see him looking at me and I realize that Apollo put his arm around my shoulders, realizing this, I can't help but blush. I look at Grover and I smile happily at him.

"Percy, this is something we already talked about with Juniper as soon as we found out she was pregnant." Grover takes a deep breath and walks over to me. I walk away from Apollo and hug Grover.

"What's up, G-man? You know no matter the circumstance, you can always talk to me." Grover smiles at me.

"We want you to be the godfather" Hearing it I froze. "Percy? Are you okay?" I realize I'm crying and hugging Grover tighter. I feel a hand place itself on my back and move it gently trying to calm me down.

"G m-man" I say crying louder. I can't believe he wants to give this responsibility to me.

"Shh shh, calm down" he whispers in my ear.

"Thanks, Grover. For all. For taking care of me since before I knew who I was. For accompanying me during my missions and prophecies. For being my friend… "I take a deep breath. "It would be an honor for me to be the godfather of your future son or daughter. But wouldn't it be better for someone who doesn't put her in danger? "

I feel Grover shake his head. "No, there is no one better than you. No one can give my son the values that you have and your way of being. You would be the best uncle I could ask for. " Hearing it I start to cry again. I feel the hand on my back pull my arm towards him and hold me tight. "Congratulations, future uncle" I smiled happily at him and laughed. I walk away from Apollo and hug Grover again, we both laugh.

"You're going to be a dad!"

Grover laughs out loud.

"Yes! And you're going to be an uncle! " I hug him tight.

I bring my mouth to his ear. "I can't believe where we got," he whispered. Grover walks away from me and smiles at me.

I look at the three members of the room and I can't help but be grateful for everything I had to go through to get here. I look at Apollo and I think I fall a little more in love with him
