Hello everybody!
We have updated again every Monday! At last, everything returns to normal. I'm very sorry that this chapter is so short but I feel like it has to be that way. I will try to do another update during the week to make up for the 2 weeks in which I do not update. In the next chapter, we will see Percy trained with Dionysus and we will also see Percy with Apollo.
I hope you are enjoying the story.
I hope you are having a very good day.

Chapter 11
"One more time," Ares tells me as he approaches me. "What is the battle strategy you would use?"
"I-I," I say as I swallow hard, I shake my head. "Can't I just improvise?"
"No," he says curtly.
I look at him and sit on the bench.
"It's what I always did"
Ares sighs and sits next to me.
"And it's very good, but you already know that. You learned it when you were a demigod and you know how to handle it very well. Now I need you to think like the general of an army, which is going to be the leader with Triton. "He turns and looks at me." And although it pains me to say it, not just any general. You are going to be Poseidon's general. "
I smile slightly at him. And I nod briefly.
"I would try to preserve as many people as possible"
Ares nods his head and gestures for me to continue.
"I would find out the strategy my enemies are using and analyze it," Ares nods. "And from what I learn about that I would start my strategy."
"Very good. What else?"
"I would never put my strategy together in a rush, with the exception that it changes due to an unforeseen event. And .. "I swallow hard. "And I would not let my interests affect the strategy, although I also know that this is what my enemies are going to look for"
Ares smiles. "Well, for today I think we are done. I know we could be here for hours and hours but you would not advance in anything important "
I smile at him and nod. "Thank you" Ares looks at me surprised. "Seriously, thank you very much for teaching me."
Ares places his hand on my shoulder and squeezes it lightly. "You're welcome"
"It may not seem like it but you're helping me a lot" I sigh. "As a demigod, we are trained to think about acting automatically, about fighting to survive. Now I have to think about the good of other people "
"And you are doing it perfectly. We started our training 2 weeks ago and you advanced much more than you think "Ares smiles and looks at me. "But okay, Punk. Don't think I'm going to make it easy for you just because you're doing it right."
I smile at him and push his side with my shoulder. Ares moves me back and pulls me off the bench.
"Hey" Ares laughs out loud. I can not help smiling. He offers me his hand to get me up, when I grab his hand I pull him and he falls to the ground with me. Ares laughs and punches me on the arm.
"You're a punk" he gets up off the ground and then helps me up. "Now I must go, but see you in two days"
"Okay, see you, demigods I tell him as I watch him disappear with a smile.
I sigh and can't help but think about my life and how crazy everything has been since I became a god. I live with my father, Triton is my best friend/brother, I found a family in my family, I have a kind of friendship with Ares which is crazy because we always get on badly and my uncles used to want to kill me and now they want me. I fell in love with Apollo, very much and very strongly. I speak more with the gods than with my friends from all my life. On a day-to-day basis, I don't realize it, but when I think about it, it's all crazy.
I smile and walk out of the training room. I walk down the corridor that leads me to my father's office, when I arrive I knock and wait for his response.
"Come in"
I open the door and see my father sitting at his desk. Hearing the door open, he looks up and when he sees that it's me, he smiles and gets up from his seat, approaching me to hug me.
"Percy," he says as he hugs me. "How was your day?"
"Ares just left." My father nods his head and walks away from me. "But all good, dad"
"He's not causing you problems, is he?"
I shake my head. "Everything is fine, surprisingly everything is perfect. I think we are friends "I say with doubt.
My father laughs as he walks over to his desk and sits in his seat again. I follow him and go to one of the chairs on the other side.
"I told you it wasn't going to be that bad"
"You're right, you told me and I was skeptical but you were right"
"Well, are you here for something specific, or was it just to let me know how your lessons are going?"
"Actually for nothing, I wanted to see how you are?"
My father smiles at me warmly, I will always be surprised when I see this side of my father when he acts like my father and not like a god.
"I'm fine, Percy. You don't have to worry about anything. "He tells me while he smiles broadly. "You only have to remember two things, your mother wants us all to be at dinner by 8 pm and tomorrow you have your first lesson with Dionysus"
I nod. "Yes, I remember both. And I don't want to anger either of them. "
MY father smiles amused.
"Do you have to do something today?"
I think about that and shake my head. "As far as I know I don't have to do anything. Why?"
"You want to keep me company until dinner time"
I smile and settle into the chair better.
"Of course, dad. Always. "My father smiles broadly. "How I can help?"
My father hands me some pages and starts talking. "Since you ask, Delphin sent me these reports, which I think is good for you to know since it is one of the things that you are going to have to take care of when you assume all your domains"
I nod and begin to read the report. And so I spend the rest of the afternoon, between reports and talks. But most importantly, I spent the afternoon with my father and no matter what we were doing, it's all worth it.
