Hi all!
Here's chapter 14, I can't believe we're already around. This chapter is a little shorter than the rest since yesterday they gave me the vaccine and I was feeling a little bad.
I hope you all like it and have a very good day.

Chapter 14: Three months
"Percy! Do you know what day it is today?" I heard Triton ask me as he walked into my room. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.
"No, and do you know how to knock on the door before entering a room?"
Triton smiled at me and threw himself on top of me, sighing I moved to leave him a place on my bed to lie down. I looked up and saw that Triton was watching me.
"Don't you want to know what day it is today?"
"No ..." Triton raised an eyebrow. "BUT since you want me to ask you, what day is it today?"
"Today it has been three months since you arrived at the palace"
I looked at him in surprise and couldn't help but smile.
"Seriously?"
Triton nodded. "Yes, three months ago you ruined my life"
I frowned at him and I tried to push him off the bed, Triton stood firm and looked at me amused.
"Are you trying to throw me away? Too bad, little brother "
I looked at him funny "Was that what you wanted to tell me or do you have to tell me something else?"
"It was just that. Are you busy?"
I sighed and shrugged. "Tomorrow I must go to Camp Jupiter"
"It's been a week?" I sighed as I nodded, Triton looked at me concerned. "What's happening?"
"It's weird, the demigods look at me with respect and many are afraid to approach me" I looked at him smiling slightly "And I don't want to be that type of director, I want them to know that they can count on me for whatever they need"
Triton smiled "You have to understand that they are not used to this. You must let them understand and get used to this new normal, to having a close God who cares for them "
"I understand it, but it's weird and uncomfortable" I sighed "I mentioned it to Dionysos, but he told me that I had to get used to it since now I was a god and they had to respect me"
"You will see that the more time they spend with you the more they will get used to you" Triton smiled at me "And you will buy them with your charming personality"
I laughed amused. "Luckily you are not the new director, otherwise we would be completely ruined"
"Hey!" Triton looked at me offended "I must tell you that people find me charming"
"If you say so" I looked at him funny.
"Shut up and go to sleep because tomorrow you must get up early," He said as he got out of bed.
"I was trying until you came here and decided to interrupt me"
"Oh shut up. you know you love me, "Triton said as he walked out the door. I shook my head and lay back on the bed.

I decided to show up at Nico's house in New Rome so I could go unnoticed, what I didn't count on was that Nico was at his house. I'm never going to forget his face when I appeared in the middle of his living room, so now we're exiting his building while Nico glared at me as he made me promise that I should pay. breakfast from him.
"I'm sorry, how would I know you were going to be there?" I told him while he looked at him.
"Maybe because it is my house?" Nico said as he raised an eyebrow
"You're never at home, you're always with Will or your father" Nico stared at me. "Okay, sorry"
"Okay, okay"
"Besides, you gave me the key to your house so I can come and go whenever I want"
"I gave it to you thinking that you were going to enter as a normal person, not as the God you are now," Nico said trying to hide the smile that was forming on his face.
"Point in your favor, now let's go to breakfast that you are very skinny and you must feed yourself"
Nico snorted and I looked at him smiling broadly "Now are you, my mother?"
"Nah, just your older brother"
"Eldest brother?" He said raising an eyebrow, I nodded "Okay, now you have no excuse not to pay for my breakfast."
"Nico"
"What?"
"I never made an excuse to buy you breakfast all the time we met"
Nico looked at me but he shrugged. "You are right"
The next two hours went by very quickly, as we spent them catching up, although I couldn't help but feel guilty about not warning Nico about the offer the gods were going to take him in a few years. In some moments Nico looked at me suspiciously and I realized that it should be noted on my face that I was hiding something from him, but then I changed the topic of conversation and everything was forgotten.
Although now I am very happy with my family and Apollo, I cannot help but miss spending time with my cousins and friends, with the people with whom I spend the great moments of my life.
After a while Nico said goodbye to me since he had to meet with Hazel, he made me promise that I would visit him more often and that I owed him a new cup since the previous one had been broken when I appeared in his living room. I saw him walk away and I decided that I was going to continue with my original plan, walk through the streets of Nueva Roma and observe how everything is.
As I walked by, I observed everyone and I couldn't help but smile when I realized that everyone lived quietly in the camp, everyone could allow themselves to think about their future without being afraid of dying before fulfilling their dreams. When I saw demigods with their children I couldn't help but think that I would love to have children, and I promised myself that I would never put my happiness second again.
Lost in my thoughts I came to a place in New Rome that I had never been to, it was a park and in the center, there was a campfire, but what caught my attention is not the campfire but the girl who was sitting next to it. I couldn't help but smile when I saw her, so I decided to go over to greet her.
"Hello, Aunt Hestia," I said as I stood next to her, she looked up from the fire and smiled warmly at me, like the fire that was next to her.
Hi, Percy. Sit with me "I sat next to her and we were in a comfortable silence for a few moments" How is life as a God looking like to you? "
I sighed and smiled slightly at her.
"Very well, I am happy to have met my family, now I have brothers and I see my father every day" I looked at her and saw that she was watching me with a smile "I also got to know many gods better and found friends in them "
"I know, especially with a handsome sun god, or am I wrong?"
I couldn't help but blush and smiled shyly
"Yes, I also fell in love with Apollo"
"Fall in love?"
I nodded and looked at the ground "Yes, I think it's time to admit that I love Apollo and that it makes me happy to be with him and my family."
"Percy" I looked up and saw that she was smiling happily at me "I'm glad you can allow yourself to be happy, you deserve it enormously"
"Thank you, Aunt Hestia" I looked at her "Do you know that you can always come to visit us at the palace? That we would all be happy to see you "
Hestia grinned widely and the fire crackled behind us.
"I'll keep it in mind and, since you mention it, I'll try to get you to see me there often" She smiled at me and watched carefully "And how do you handle your new responsibilities?"
I sighed thinking very carefully about everything before answering.
"The vast majority of them get along well. I share the position of general with Triton in the army, which is very good for me since we both compliment each other perfectly, "I looked at my hands.
"But?" Hestia said smiling softly at me.
"But every time I come to the camps I cannot help but be saddened by the realization of the barrier that formed between me and the demigods. Many demigods that I fought side by side now look at me with fear, as if I would burn them if they talk to me informally "I sigh" But Triton says it will take time for them to get used to me as God, to the fact that I am still the same Percy than always. And all I want is to protect them, so I can't wait for them to relax around me. "
"You'll see, Percy Jackson, everything will get better. And by the time you become the official director of the camps, the demigods will treat you as always, as the leader you always were. "
I smiled at him "Thanks Aunt"
"No need, now go, it's getting late, and surely you must have more to do"
I was going to argue saying that I had nothing else to do when I realized that the sun was starting to set, it had been here longer than expected, so I just smiled and nodded.
"You know, Aunt. You are welcome to visit us whenever you want and I'm sure my father must miss you "I smiled broadly" After all, you were always his favorite. "
Hestia laughed "Do I tell you a secret before you go?" I nodded "I always had a soft spot for water and the rulers of it."
I couldn't help but smile but before I could speak Hestia winked at me and she disappeared in wide flames. I shook my head in amusement and started walking towards Nico's apartment without realizing that I was much more relaxed than when I got here.
