Chapter 16

I said goodbye to Ares and teleported to the palace gardens so I could spend some time alone and think about everything that was happening to me. Today was the last day of my training. Tomorrow I was going to become the director of the camps. The ceremony was going to be held with the gods on Olympus. Later, a party was going to be held for all of Olympus to commemorate my new position.

I walked through the garden and enjoyed the views while I was lost in my thoughts. Surely they would be looking for me, Triton and Apollo had said that they wanted to celebrate with me before I took on all my new responsibilities, but I still had no desire to be with more people, for a few moments I wanted to be alone.

I kept walking and walking until I reached a sector of the garden that I had never been to, it was very similar to the main sectors, but it had many more trees and at this moment it served to prevent people from finding me. I kept observing everything until I came to a tree in which the roots had formed like a kind of bench, in which I decided to sit.

I don't know how long I must have been here, but it must have been a couple of hours. I was very comfortable here and I didn't want to go back to the palace, but I decided it was time to go back.

I started my return, I walked slowly and every time I passed someone they would smile at me widely before congratulating me and bowing, I think I was never going to get used to that.

I entered the palace and walked slowly while people stopped me so they could talk to me a bit. Everything remained the same until I saw Triton walk down the hall, he hadn't seen me so I decided to run after him to catch up with him, when he was a few meters away from him he decided to speak.

I shook my head in amusement, Apollo kissed me again before entering the bar. Inside were Hermes, Ares, Pegasus, Kym, Rhode, Aphrodite, and many more gods waiting. They all congratulated me before each went to their group and started drinking. Apollo stood next to me while he hugged me and spoke into my ear.

"Don't tell them I told you, but your friends have a party planned for you tomorrow."

I turned to look at him as he smiled.

The rest of the party passed quickly as I spoke and was grateful to everyone for being here when I wanted to realize I was returning to the palace with my brothers. Once we appeared there, each of us went to their rooms to rest for tomorrow.
