Chapter 17

I was walking through Camp Jupiter, some demigods stopped me from speaking, I was happy that they were getting used to having me as their director. Since I had taken my new position, I had decided to stay in the camps so that the campers would get used to me, so it has been a while since I have seen my family and my gods friends often.

I kept walking and smiled when I saw a little demigod look at me while she hid behind her brother, I waved to her and continued walking calmly, not even 15 minutes had passed when I heard someone call me, I turned around and smiled.

"Director Perseus!" Apollo shouted as he approached me, I looked at him raising an eyebrow, when he saw me he smiled mischievously "I was looking for you, is there somewhere we can go to talk in private?"

I nodded and motioned for him to follow me to my temple, once in it he turned me around and looked at him.

"Director Perseus?" I asked raising an eyebrow "Perseus? Seriously?"

Apollo threw his head back as he laughed out loud.

"The demigods must believe that we have a professional relationship. If they knew how we are normally they will not respect us "

Raise an eyebrow "Honey, the demigods know how you are. And believe me when I tell you that they know how I am, less than a year ago I was one of them "

Apollo sighed, but didn't wipe the smile off his face. "You're right, but I couldn't help but make fun of you."

I laughed as I shook my head in amusement. Apollo looked at me smiling as he approached me slowly.

"What's happening?" I asked him while I was looking at him.

Apollo shrugged but didn't stop coming closer.

"Nothing, I just wanted to greet you properly," He said before kissing me passionately, and like every time he kissed me I felt that the rest of the world disappeared, the only thing that mattered was that Apollo and I were together, and as long as we were together nothing was going to be able to get in our way.

We kissed for quite some time while enjoying each other's company, until the moment I saw him again I had not realized how much I had missed him during the time that I had not seen him. When we parted, Apollo supported his forehead with mine and looked at me, smiling softly.

"Two weeks is a long time, little prince," He said looking into my eyes.

"You're right, you know that you are welcome whenever and wherever you want," I told him before kissing him gently. When we walked away he looked at me smiling mischievously.

"Even in your bed?" He asked raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"Especially in my bed," I said laughing.

Apollo looked at me with a wide smile and lifted me into his arms.

"Would you like to show me your room at this camp?"

"With pleasure, darling"

Apollo smiled and teleported to my room, I looked at him smiling broadly.

"I love you, Perseus Jackson"

"I love you more, Apollo"

Apollo smiled widely and kissed me passionately as we lay down on the bed. The moment he was on top of me the rest of the world disappeared from my mind, the world could be over and I wouldn't care as long as Apollo was by my side. What happened for the rest of the night is for Apollo and me to know, and, our dreams.

"Perseus Jackson, how dare you not call me for weeks?" I heard a voice behind me, swallowed hard, and turned around. I looked around confused to realize that there was no one with me in my office.

"Percy, look up."

I looked up and saw my mother staring at me severely.

"Hi mom" I said smiling softly "Sorry?"

"Do you ask or do you say it?" Asked my mother raising an eyebrow.

"I say it, mom. Sorry, I was busy with the demigods transition. But I swear I had planned to visit you as soon as I could "

My mother sighed, but after a few moments, she smiled.

"Okay," she said softening her tone "Tell me everything"

I sat at my desk and relaxed while looking at my mother, I was happy with my new life, but I missed being able to see her whenever I wanted.

"I don't know what to tell you, mom. Nothing out of the ordinary. These last three weeks I was staying in both camps so that the demigods would get used to me as their new director "

"Can you see your friends?"

I grinned widely before nodding, "Yeah, that's for the best. I caught up with everything that is happening in Annabeth's life, don't let her know I told you about it but Connor asked her to be his wife last week and she said yes "

My mother squealed happily, a while ago she had been sad that I had separated from Annabeth, but over time she realized that we were better as friends than as a couple and ended up accepting our new relationship.

"I promise I won't say anything"

"Better, because she said she was going to come to tell you next week, so you act surprised when I tell you, please?"

"Yes, honey. Of course "said my mother smiling" And you with Apollo? How is your relationship?"

I could feel the huge smile that appeared on my face when I heard the name of Apollo "Very good mom. I love him very much and I believe that if everything remains the same, he will be the person with whom I share my life "

My mother looked at me surprised "Are you sure, honey?"

I nodded "Yes. I would like you to know him correctly "

My mother smiled and looked at me thoughtfully "Invite him to eat at home, so I can meet him"

I looked at her before nodding "okay, as soon as I know a date I'll tell you"

My mother smiled and. The next hour we spent talking about the things that were going on in our lives. When I wanted to find out I had to go to a meeting.

"Mom, I have to go. I promise to call you with the date on which we are going to eat with Apollo "

I smiled at her before hanging up the message, I sat in my chair for a few moments before getting up and leaving my office feeling that everything was going wonderfully.
