Chapter 15
During the night, Alfida and Kai sat inside a train wagon hidden behind a box leaned against it sleeping. Kai had his head leaned on Alfida's shoulder while she had hers over his head. The pet weasel Luta lied on top of the box resting with her eyes open afterward she lifted up her head to look across the loaded cart, then she got down of the box to the open door and glimpsed out of the vehicle to see the train nearing a foreign train station and spotted on a few windows of the building behind the station the flags of Sweden. Luta crawled back at Kai and Alfida, then began to tickle with her nose on Alfida's and making her chuckle and open her eyes.
"Luta, your nose is wet," Complained Alfida, then she noticed she had her head over Kai's hand, then smiled gently at the sweet pose the boy was on. Alfida, then moved the boy on his shoulder to wake him up and observed him opening up his eyes slowly and recognized the raven-haired girl.
"Are we there yet?" Asked Kai while yawning then Luta went to the open door to show the two teens their last railroad to the train station. "We're in Sweden, right?" Asked Kai making Alfida nod.
"I assume it is at the bunch of flags I have seen over there" Responded Alfida. "Hey, we better jump out of here before anyone noticed us" Commented Alfida making Kai nod, which picked up Luta and stood at the edge ready to jump out along with the romantic interest.
"Ready?" Asked Kai, then Alfida jumped out making Kai groan at her hurry, then he jumped after her and crash-landed on the ground next to Alfida, then looked back at the train seeing in another wagon two tan-skinned adults looking out and leap out of it as well, thereafter, both crossed the railway to head to the other side of the ciity.
"Okay, I guess we weren't the only ones with this idea," Mentioned Kai making Alfida nod.
"You've got any idea how to move on now?" Questioned the former pirate girl.
"I don't know. I barely know anything here, mostly now that everything looks so new to us,"
"You know what we could do? Enter into the city and look for a place that sells us food. We run away yesterday without any food and it wouldn't be a bad idea to have an earlier brunch.,...or just a bigger breakfast,"
"This sounds like the best thing we could do right now," Responded Kai, then Alfida moved her hand, so the short boy would follow her.
Orm and Hendrick were at the troll kingdom, working together in trying to unfreeze the royal troll family as they had done the other way with the raven-heads. Orm walked at a window in the living room to look out at the road to encounter the first staff member of the museum and he looked back at the senior that was using his telekinesis on a long, burning wood hovering over it over the family.
"We're running out of time, Henry", Warned Orm making the senior nod.
"Just keep the door locked with something," Mentioned the senior, seeing Orm grab the couch on the side and pull it towards the door.
Hendrick moved on with his task seeing that one of the triplets' ears had looked out, making the man smile keeping his posture and he groaned as he got into pain due to the power of the telekinesis.
"Argh my head," Complained Hendrick, then pushed the wood quickly with his hand into the fireplace and noticed the forehead of the first cub look out. Hendrick picked up a stick, that wasn't burning fully and held it closer to the cub to see it melt swifter and smiled as the cub's head had been revealed.
"We've got our first guy," Commented Hendrick, then Orm looked back to see the cub almost freed, while the other two were half stuck in it.
"Hey, little guy" Greeted Orm looking at the cub which lifted up his arms and got taken by the older cousin. "Don't worry, we're doing our best to help out your parents," Promised Orm, then grabbed a living room chair to block the entrance.
"Try to block the handhold of the door and come help me with the rest, Orm," Asked Hendrick using his telekinesis to lift out another wood out of the fire to begin to unfreeze the side of King Arrog as Orm took the other side trying to unfreeze the Queen.
"Go take that cloth over there and cover yourself in it. I tell you, when you need to bring it," Ordered Orm seeing the cub organize for himself the large cover on the chair, then pulled it down slowly and wrapped himself in it.
After three minutes the last two cubs were helped by Orm out and unhurriedly the first triplet brought his siblings the cover and got helped by Orm to get covered.
"Come on, the time is running out, we shouldn't be here at this time," Commented Orm seeing Queen Maribel's head slowly looking out and the troll shrieked as the fire on his stick was reaching his hands, then he threw it back into the fire.
"We haven't got any more firewood in here," Mentioned Hendrick afterward watched Orm use his bare fingers to break down the ice of the Queen. Orm Slowly broke the shape around the older cousin, managing to free a part above her nose.
"His head is almost out," Warned Hendrick, then picked up a brush from the fireplace and used its back to hit down under the head of the king causing the under part fall into smaller pieces, and the king blinked with his eyes, then noticed his presence inside the living room of the palace, then rolled his eyes down to see Orm trying to free the queen from the ice.
"Maribel!" Shouted the King, then struggled to get himself out of the block and managed to break with the force of his arms and helped Orm to free Maribel as the senior used the fire to melt their feet.
"Try from behind," Ordered the King then glimpsed at his wife, which had her eyes closed and the cubs brought the cover with them and tried to hand it up to their father.
"Maribel, can you hear me?" Asked the King, then Orm accidentally slipped with his hand against the woman's face shrinking her up. This had set Orm in panic, which covered his mouth fearful of the reaction, then he sighed in relief as everyone was well and he picked up the cover to put it around the two of royalty.
"Arrog, what happened?" Asked Maribel, then Arrog looked at Orm, which opened the cover up for the cubs to run into the arms of the parents.
"I think we're free," Commented King Arrog, then Orm watched Hendrick drop the wood back in the fire.
"I'll continue, don't worry,"
"Your Majesty, I have no idea what exactly happened, but someone found us and only Gerda and Rollan were saved by human healers. I don't know what happened to me, but I encountered Henry here, which is a magician. An expert at telekinesis and a friend to me, who helped me out to unfreeze your family and also Alfida and Kai,"
"Pleasure to meet you," Replied Hendrick bowing down at the trolls. "Maybe you've heard of my great-aunt. She was a magician as well and was able to manipulate the genes of flowers.,"
"Maybe I do," Responded King Arrog. "But...what happened to the kids or well... The Snow Queen and the Fire Demon?"
"According to the International news, the two are located in the center of Paris and Kai and Alfida are on their way to find them. At the moment we have heard nothing about this with the powers of the Snow Queen or the Fire Demon," The senior told the troll King.
"Does this mean that the powers that once belonged to the two villains are now gone for good?" Questioned Queen Maribel making her husband shrug his shoulders.
"This is the question of whether none of us has an answer," Orm noticed, then heard someone move on the door handle and try to open it up.
"Hello? Anyone there? I'm locked out" Commented the voice of the staff member.
"Oh, I totally forgot the time. Your Majesty, over the time, we were frozen for about 100 years. Your kingdom was turned into some kind of museum, which can be visited by humans. At this moment according to Henry we trolls aren't supposed to talk or well...exist," Commented Orm making King Arrog frown.
"And what shall we do instead?" Questioned the King. "Is there another king we can talk to?"
"We can try to contact the current owner of this place?" Suggested the Norwegian. " But are they ready to enter in a talk with the previous ruler of this kingdom and go on an agreement?"
"Anything that doesn't lead us to a war or any other fight is a good idea," King Arrog commented earning a nod from the Queen and Orm walked up to the door along with Hendrick and pulled together the couch away, so the staff member opened the door immediately, looking annoyed at the long time he's been waiting and he dropped his mouth as he saw the trolls.
"Greetings your..." Began King Arrog, then watched the man scream and ran away leaving the trolls back, then Orm closed the door and Hendrick used the telekinessis to block the door again with the couch.
"Okay, looks like we gotta look for a plan B" Commented Orm seeing the royal couple exchange looks with each other.
Gerda sat in the cafeteria on a table along with Rose, Juleka, Luka, Rollan, Max, and Kim each of the students eating a slice of Tiroler Cake, which was given for free along with the pastries that were put for sale in the morning.
"The cake is pretty damp. Better than the one he made last week," Kim commented earning a nod from Max.
"Manju has most likely to have used more butter or any other liquid quite a little more than advised on the recipe. This giving it this soft taste were feeling on our tongue,"
"Your friend Max really talks like an expert about everything," Pointed out Rollan, which took a bite of his cake slice.
"I know right, but I love Max with all my heart. Hes one of the best buddies I have made here at the school. It's only thanks to him, that I belong to the top ten sportsmen in our city," Kim stated proudly making Max smile. "Oh and have you met the small robot he built by himself?" Questioned the Vietnamese boy making the Spaniard shake his head.
"No," Responded Rollan, then Max opened up his backpack, so his robot friend Markov flew out and floated in front of the raven-haired.
"Greetings young man, my name is Markov and I'm Max's self-made robot," Greeted the robot making Rollan smile.
"I'm Rollan, nice to meet you," Rollan responded holding out his finger for the small bot to shake it.
"Markov, what about you show Rollan, what you know about him without asking him?" Questioned Max making the robot nod and use his eye to scan Rollan, which got confused at what was happening and he fell down on the ground smashing a blonde girl, that passed behind him along with a redhead which was carrying two plates, then got in panic as the friend fell down.
"Easy there Rollan, that doesn't kill you," Kim assured with a chuckle, then helped him up and Rollan turned around to see the blonde girl look back and show her face to him. Rollan had no idea who she was but the rest of the table knew her as Chloè Bourgeois.
"Perdona-me," Apologized Rollan getting down to help the girl, which looked at the boy disgusted.
"Oh no, I can't believe a handsome boy like you hangs out with losers like you all," Commented Chloe getting up from the ground by herself. "Why didn't Adrikins take you to us?"
"Adrikins?" Asked Rollan confused at the same moment Markov scanned Rollan from behind and was ready to announce his discovery.
"Rollan, 19 years old, son of Leticia and Pedro, native Spaniard, grew up half of his life in the old-fashioned Alicante back in the 1890s. Originally he's supposed to be 129, but his body was stuck in ice for 120 years,"
"Wow" Commented Rollan.
"Oh wow, you're really from Spain?" Asked Sabrina curious.
"Duh of course Ronaldo is from Spain. Look at his skin, he's tan like most of the Spanish-speaking guys," Commented Chloe making the boys chuckle.
"His name is Rollan, Chloe," Corrected Rose making Chloe roll her eyes.
"Good for you. I'll be gone," Chloe said moving on with Sabrina, then Gerda looked at Rose and the rest of the students.
"Her behavior is really odd," Gerda stated, then glanced at Rollan, which picked up his cafe latte tetra pack to drink.
"You know deep, deep, deep inside her there's a good core, just no one made it to help her get it out to shine," Mentioned Rose.
"She actually knows from Adrien, that she will end up alone when she keeps treating everyone bad," Kim commented. "Sure she's not as terrible as a bully, but it's not gonna last any longer,"
"You've got here a lot of problems with bullies?" Questioned Gerda making half of the students shake their heads.
"We're pretty mature about this topic," Max replied. "It's usually once a month that there is an issue with bullies and each third case leads to an akumatization,"
"Rollan you never told us anything about your school life. Did you have to deal with bullies, when you were younger?" Questioned the girl with the pink dress.
"Like everyone else a little," Rollan answered neutrally. Luka frowned suspicious about the answer, then questioned the friend.
"You know you can trust us and if you're not ready to talk about it just don't do it," Luka added making Rollan nod.
"It's been a long while ago. People mainly made fun of my ideas and all. It's quite strange now that people here seem the total opposite,"
"This is the only right way. You couldn't just move on through your life listening to bad mouths, most of all, you shouldn't listen to them at all," Rose added. "Or...hey Gerda told us the other day, she knows how to deal with bullies, maybe she can help you?" Questioned the blonde looking at the tall girl beside her, making her shrug.
"At the moment I'm okay, but if you're okay and I feel like the need to talk about it I'll do it," Stated Rolkan making Gerda nod.
"I'm there whenever you need it," Commented Gerda smiling along with the raven-haired boy, then a few on the table noticed their looks and grinned, exchanging looks with each other.
"How's school going so far for both of you?" Questioned Max adjusting his glasses. "Could you get into it well?"
"Uh me?" Asked Gerda unfocusing away from Rollan, which kept gazing at the girl and returned his eyes at the dark-skinned boy. "I'm doing well,"
"Algebra and Science are throwing me off the field lately. Mrs. Mancinelli is focusing with me on Algebra at the moment, so that I understand the topic at least," Pointed Rollan out. "She speaks a little Spanish and when necessary she tries to explain it in Spanish so I would get it,"
"Maxy here could help you out," Kim added hitting his best friend on his back. "He's not in your level, but he learns certain subjects very quick,"
"I'll ask him in case Mrs. Mancinelli couldn't help me out or if I somehow forgot it," Rollan answered. "Thanks for then offer,"
"Talking about subjects, Juleka what do you think about taking Gerda into your house so we can do homework together?" The blonde girl asked, making Juleka shrug her shoulder.
"I don't mind it," Answered the raven-haired girl.
"Girls, I had invited Rollan and Wayhem as well into our house. Is it okay, if we do the work outside instead, or do you want to be on the outside instead?" Questioned Juleka's older brother.
" We can just decide that later, when we all arrive or when we're on our way," Commented Rose Lavilllant. "Maybe we will let Gerda or Rollan decide,"
"Or we split the time and each group gets to be out for the same time as the other team and we're good," Added the Spaniard. "Could work,"
"Not such a bad idea, besides the time factor won't be to 100% correct," Stated Luka.
"Looks like we could do a little visit on Marinette's bakery, or at least get somewhere else some snacks for this evening," Rose commented making Juleka nod.
"Yes," Agreed the tall girl. "They should feel like home,"
"Well said, Juleka!," Complimented Rose patting her friend on the shoulder.
