Chapter 19

This is the very first time I write a character on a psychedelic trip :D I believe it could be funnier or better if it was written in POV. I can always try it another time. Also, some odd moments happen during the bar visit, but they weren't described in detail, just a little obvious.

On Tuesday night with the help of Marco Björgman, Orm, Arrog, and Hendrick had thawed out the last trolls whose frozen bodies were spread around the museum mistaken as an architectural work from the past period.

"We have rescued our last man!" Announced King Arrog getting up with a torch, then observed Orm accompany the confused troll to the separate room, where a few trolls, that were saved a long while ago stood in watch and the others were being nurtured by Hendrick and Mr. Björgman.

"You're okay?" Asked Orm looking at the troll, they had just helped, looking around to see the other rescued trolls. "Don't worry. They're good influences," Assured Orm making the troll sit on a free chair, then he left the room to encounter the King of the trolls.

Hans Björgman came along with a former troll guard, then the two trolls looked at the human.

"Where's my dad?" Asked Hans, then Orm pointed into the other room making the man nod. "About the weekend, did something bother you like the wish some people had in wanting to pet you?"

"We're not dogs. We still have our pride," Commented Orm, then King Arrog placed his hand on Orm's shoulder.

"What Orm means is, that we're not always willing to have people pet us like you've done this with dogs," The king explained.

"Sure I understand. Have you got your own suggestion, you could imagine?"

"Isn't there a way, we could work without any human contact?" Asked Orm.

"Hmm I would need to think about it….If you got any suggestions, feel free to tell them,"

"If interested I had one. If we receive a younger audience or any other for that matter, I've got plenty of stories where my grandfather has been in fighting in wars or with other mythical creatures," Suggested King Arrog making Orm nod.

"I have two or three as well. I'd rather be telling stories, than being treated like a dog,"

"Okay, we can arrange that. About the other trolls….do they have their own stories as well or do you think we will need to ask each of them about this?"

"We can, that would be good and eventually if this works, my troll guards can take or assist the human guards in this castle,"

"Okay, I'd need to talk with my father about it to see what he thinks about it. We probably will have to change couple of things again, additionally add anything new about the stories like…...you're able to talk about your father-in-law's stories?" Questioned Hans looking up at Arrog, which shook his head.

"Uh that was Queen Maribel's uncle. Orm or her could do that," Arrog commented.

"I just know that one disco story. Maribel is the one, that should be questioned about it," Added Orm. "She might as well know more about her ancestors…..hey! What about the legend of Gerda?" Questioned Orm. "The girl, that defeated the Snow Queen?"

"Gerda? I've heard about this legend. I heard, that she made her way throughout the entire country to save her friend from the Snow Queen's hands," Stated Hans. "There are many poems, books and songs based on this legend. It's amazing,"

"Gerda defeated the Snow Queen, when she was around 13 years old…...And the reason we trolls were all frozen inside Lake Gao was, because she had got in contact with the wishing stone, which made her the slave of the Snow Queen and she broke out to destroy the kingdom," Explained Orm making the King sad and the adult feel bad for the story.

"And she passed away, then?" Questioned the man, making Orm shake his head.

"I don't know, what exactly happened, but before me Gerda was thaw along with the other boy, that had fallen into the influence of the Fire Demon, which also lied in the wishing stone and….. they somehow got away from here. They're in a place called Paris,"

"Paris…..," Pondered Hans feeling like he had heard anything about this. "There was something in the news about a Parisian fashion designer finding two teens here inside the lake. I haven't caught their name, but I assume it's them,"

"Was the girl blonde?" Asked the young troll.

"Probably. I don't remember. I've seen the images, but I've forgot…..but I could see if I can find it in the news again here on my smartphone," Pointed Hans out taking from his jacket his smartphone, then tapped on the display and waited for it to load. The trolls exchanged looks, then returned their eyes at the human and as the page had loaded to show the news page, it received a phone call, which shrieked the two trolls at the music coming out from the device.

"Excuse me I wasn't expecting someone to give me a ring. May I attend the call? It's my wife," Commented Hans making Arrog nod, while Orm kept staring at the display making small waves between the accept and decline buttons. "Hello?"

"It's probably them. And that Parisian fashion designer he spoke off, must be the one who found them, but why would he save them from ice?" Questioned Orm making the King shrug his shoulders.

"Hmm I'd say the same reason you did for me and my family," Answered Arrog unsure.

"You were family, I knew you and Maribel. But this guy didn't know Rollan nor Gerda. Why would he?"

"Must be something humans do. I believe on that man's place if I saw a young person or troll frozen like that I would as well see if there was a way to help. If he knows anything about that Parisian human, we could make us a picture to know, what he could…."

"Dad! Dad! I gotta go to the hospital!" Shouted Hans running at the entrance of the room, where his father was. "Anastacia is in labor! It's today!,"

"What's on labor?" Asked Orm looking up at his king, then saw Hans ran at the two trolls to embrace them tight, making both trolls bulging their eyes.

"I can't believe it! It's today!" Hans shouted, then ran off through the corridor passing by Queen Maribel, which was heading to the bedroom and observed the young man confused, then joined the trolls.

"Uh….did I miss something?" Questioned the Queen.

"I think Mrs. Hans Björgman is having a baby right now, so far I understand," Stated the husband, then Maribel held up a magazine and showed it to the two trolls.

"I saw this in here and I'm not sure if it is that what I think it is," Maribel explained opening the booklet on a specific page to show the entire page dedicated to Paris' new superheroes, Lady Frost and Fire King.

"They look like Gerda and the other boy,"

"That's them!" Orm exclaimed pulling his ears surprised at seeing them in the booklet, then Arrog grabbed the booklet to read it.

"Apace was recently the new supervillain from Shadow Moth and not only was that a new thing in the city of love, but also two new superheroes joined the force of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Throughout the mission two new faces showed up and according to Ladybug herself they called themselves Lady Frost and Fire King. Soon the fight was over social media has been brainstorming about their origins and appearance. And if that wasn't enough, Fire King and Lady Frost are being shipped by people in the media and it has already kicked out Jagged Stone and Penny Rolling from the top ten favorite Parisian famous pairings. Not much is known about the two rookies or anything about their relationship. Citizens assume that the rookies haven't met each other before, but they give the exact same vibe as Ladybug and Cat Noir in relation to their superpowers. Teeny Magazine hopefully arranges in the upcoming months an interview with both of the superheroes to get to know them a little. For now on, those details are guessed by our ethnicity expert Dr. Selenia Montgomery,"

"Alright…...superheroes, that's…...okay, if they're really superheroes. Did they defeat the Snow Queen and the Fire Demon or were they gone on the time they woke up?" Questioned Orm making the King shrug his shoulders, then continued to analyze the magazine for more informations. "Well it's Tuesday, almost night. Kai and Alfida must be reaching Paris soon by the days, that have passed. They will immediately look for Gerda and Rollan and see what's up. I bet right now they're leaving their last train right now!"

"I can't believe it we landed in the Netherlands. I told you, we had to go through Luxembourg," Alfida complained walking along with an annoyed Kai under a highway bridge leaving the northern train station. "Why didn't you ask me for help?"

"I showed that guy back in Germany the flag and he told me about this cargo train, that travelled from there to Rotterdam. You never told me, that Luxembourg had the same flag as the Netherlands. You didn't also see he didn't quite speak well our language, which is understandable,"

"You could next time at least pull me into the conversation. I could have helped out any of you, eventually,"
"I know and now it's too late. I'm sick of being overlooked or seen as a loser, just because I can't understand how to move on in the real world. I never had to worry about that, when I was with Gerda. I can do that too, I just need the chance to do it myself," Complained the raven-haired boy, earning a neutral glance from the former pirate girl.

"Kai….I know you're…...you don't understand the big world like I do or….now this new, modern world...makes things complicated,"

"I don't know how you can not panic seeing the map and immediately figure out a few ideas on how to move on. Even in this timeline,"

"The entire European continent looks practically the same to me. I've seen a few countries and other changes, but that shouldn't stop us from getting to Paris and find Gerda," Stated Alfida making Kai nod, then his stomach grumbled loud, which caused Alfida to chuckle. "You're starving I see?"

"Yeah, we should really get to eat something," Kai mentioned, then looked across the street to see a gas station and a car enter into the plot to stop next to a petrol pump. "Hey they must sell food, what do you think?" Asked Kai looking at the girl, which looked at the billboard of the gas station showing the different prices of the fuel and icons of available services.

"Yeah, there's a food icon. They must have food," Alfida said, then the two ran across the road and passed by the car, then they spotted the woman, that was about to refill the car wearing a nurse's coat, and read on the car, that it was from the ambulant care.

"What's this smell?" Questioned Kai from passing by the gas pump while Alfida moved her nose to smell it and enjoying it.

"I never thought gasoline smelled this good," Alfida commented, then entered into the shop along with the boy and they looked at the shop, to see various sorts of snacks. "Okay, I think this is the most expensive store we've got so far," Mentioned the pirate girl making Kai nod.

"Maybe it has something to do with the shop being open for 24 hours. Those probably exist for those people that come home very late or are like us lost," Kai mentioned picking out a XL package with large butter cookies. "What about we take this one here? It's bigger than the one beside it, but contains more,"

"I think that's a good idea. Also, we still need to find a place to sleep or better another train station. This must have a central station as well, where we can find a way to wander out,"

"We can eat while walk," Suggested Kai. "Oh and I think we could buy us another water bottle as well,

"Yes and look there's an invisible cool box with water for only 50 cents," Alfida pointed out walking at the box to take out two bottles and placed them on the counter, where the cashier was tapping on his smartphone, then placed it aside to scan the products of Kai and Alfida.

"Isn't it weird how every human you see here is always staring at that thing?" Asked Kai making Alfida shrug her shoulders.

"Modern progress," Commented Alfida. "A map, that would lead us to Paris like a guide would be pretty useful,"

"That will be 6:29," Commented the cashier and Kai took out the coins from his pocket and counted them on the cashier's counter.

"Alfida, I've got 3:06 only," Commented Kai, then Alfida took out the cash bills, then shrugged her shoulder and added a ten Euro bill and the man accepted the bill, then gave Alfida the change and she handed it out to Kai, which kept the rest of the coins.

"Okay this will be enough for the next payment," Kai mentioned, then both walked out of the store and Alfida opened the cookies, so she would let Kai take out a few circles. "Okay, now what's next?"

"We just walk further and see, if we find someone, that could tell us directions," Suggested Alfida. "Or we find it on our own. Makes more sense at the moment,"

"We could have asked that nurse in the car or the guy inside the shop," Kai added making Alfida nod.

"Yeah would have been easier," Mentioned Kai, then they heard a car honk and looked at the entrance of the gas station to see a Cabrio enter into the gas station. Inside the car sat three young humans, two young teenagers and the driver was a young woman as well, but slightly a little older, than the passengers.

"Excuse me, ma'am, which way leads us to a central train station?" Asked Kai earning the woman's attention.

"Oh have you two lost your bus connection?" Asked the woman making the two shrug their shoulders.

"We somehow got lost and landed here on the smaller train station. We need to check out, if there's a train going to Paris, France," Explained Kai making the woman nod.

"I think you'll only find one tomorrow. It's 10:52 and so far I know, there is no train leaving Rotterdam right now," Commented the woman.

"Okay, but is there a way we can get there?" Questioned Alfida, then the woman looked back at the two teens, which sat in her car. One of the boys spoke in Dutch at the woman, then she shrugged her shoulders and looked at the two foreigners.

"We're on our way to a bar and the bar we are going to is about 6-7 minutes away from the central station and it's easy to get there. You're able to see the building," Explained the woman. "I could stop by the bar, drop us all off and you two could continue your trip,"

"That's already enough for us two," Kai commented making Alfida nod.

"What kind of bar is that, if I may ask?" Questioned Alfida. "Does it serve drinks?"

"Yeah," Responded the woman. "There also are plenty of hotels in the near, where you could overnight in case you want to go to the bar….. or I have a funny suggestion my ex-boyfriend once did, when he needed a break from his father and hid inside a cinema and overnighted at a cinema. That was one funny story," Explained the woman with a chuckle, then Alfida thought about the story planning to find a way to find a clean shelter for herself and Kai.

"Kai, what do you think? A warm or cold drink would not be bad for the two of us," Offered Alfida watching Kai look at the cookies, they bought.

"I'm not fond of alcohol," Commented Kai making Alfida nod.

"Don't worry, you'll get something else if you'd like," Alfida said, then the woman got up to open the doors to the two tourists.

"Get in, I'll have to tank the car, before I leave it for my parents," The woman said making the two nod, which sat down in the car and waited for the woman to begin fill the car with gas.

In Paris Ladybug got reunited with Cat Noir, Fire King, and Lady Frost on top of the Trocadero, then took a look down at the street behind the building to see a child run up upon a white car, where a man dressed as a roadworker got out and opened the arms to embrace the kid.

"It's been a while since I hugged my father….or he me," Commented Cat Noir a little sad from looking at the two reunited.

"It's been a few days I hugged my parents the last time," Commented Ladybug. "At least I get to see them for a little bit,"

"Lucky you, you've got at least your parents," Commented Lady Frost, making Fire King and Ladybug raise their eyebrows up sad.

"You're an orphan?" Asked Ladybug making Lady Frost nod. "My apology. I didn't mean to hurt you emotionally,"

"It's fine," Responded Lady Frost, then Fire King placed his hand on Lady Frost's shoulder to pat her. "It's already a long time ago I lost them,"

"You'll be alright?" Asked the bug-themed heroine making the older girl nod.

"Sure, I'm fine," Lady Frost commented, the Ladybug's earrings beeped. "Look you've gotta go,"

"If you want, after I charged my energy we can talk,"

"No, no, no I will be okay. Don't worry," Promised Lady Frost making the blue-haired heroine nod.

"Alright, then until next time," Ladybug said using her yo-yo to leave.

Cat Noir looked at Fire King, which looked at the cat-themed superhero and gave a thump up. Cat Noir nodded and jumped off the building making his way back home.

"Do you want to talk?" Questioned Fire King leading the girl to the edge of the building, then helped her to sit down.

"It's fine. I just remembered my parents and how long it is ago, that I lost them," Stated Lady Frost. "It's incredible how time has passed so fast for me,"

"I feel like it was yesterday my mama gifted me my favorite book. It was about an outlaw, that defended various cities from other criminals,"

"Sounds like an interesting book,"

"I've left the book in my mama's house. In Spain,"

"You're Spanish?" Asked Lady Frost curious making Fire King nod.

"You too?" Asked Fire King making the girl shake her head.

"No, but recently I was added to Spanish class at the school and I'm learning Spanish,"
"Cool, already know something?"

"Just a little bit. I know Buenos Dias, Buenas tardes, Gracias, Por Favor…..Me gusta….Lo siento….có….cómostás?"

"Cómo estás" Corrected Fire King. "You're progressing well. How many lessons have you got?"

"One per week," Answered the blonde. "For now on, it seems easy,"

"If you got any difficulty or need somebody to learn with, I'm here," Offered the redhead making Lady Frost chuckle.

"Thanks…..I mean….Gracias," The girl commented making Fire King chuckle.

"Your…..risa is very cute," Commented Fire King making her smile a little.

"Risa…..that means…..face?"

"I'm sorry. I don't know all words to 100%. I meant this here," Fire King explained pointing at his lips and faked a smile, so Lady Frost would understand.

"Oh smile," Lady Frost corrected followed by another chuckle, then the boy pointed again at her voice.

"And that too,"

"Wow learned something new," Commented Lady Frost making Fire King nod, then he looked back at the Eiffel tower and the heroine copied him. "Hey, have you ever been at the top of the Eiffel tower?"

"No,"

"You gotta go up there once. The view of Paris is amazing. Sadly I haven't seen it in the night yet, but I was told it's fantastic,"

"I heard the same,"

"And there's a restaurant on top of it, which is expensive and considered by people that were there as the best experience," Told the heroine seeing the superhero nod, then she stopped talking assuming she was boring the boy. "Oh you….you probably know all this already, right?"
"Actually not. I'm not from here. I….uh I've been only for three months in France and therefore I was in another city,"
"Oh, you're just like me. I used to live somewhere else as well,"

"We can always take a look together another time or get to know the city from above. It probably would do well for both of us to know the city better."

"I think you're right," Gerda's alter ego responded. "And when we're closer to the tower, not like this maybe, another day I'm talking about. We should get up the tower, so we could see the entire city by night,"

"Sure I would go," Fire King commented getting up on the roof, then Lady Frost glanced up at the boy. "Or look it's just a couple of minutes away from here. We can just take a look now" Suggested the redhead making Lady Frost shrug her shoulders, but afterward, she agreed and nodded. Fire King smiled and leaned the girl his hand to help her get up. While she got up she watched above the sky one military jet pass by hastily, then Fire King looked back as well, then the two stared amazed at the vehicle. Suddenly around the jet, it had built white smoke, causing a loud explosive noise and the jet shifted rapidly across the sky disappearing behind the tower shrieking the two superheroes, which hugged each other in panic.

"Where did it go?" Asked Fire King, feeling Lady Frost's hold him on the lapels of his jacket. Fire King gazed at the girl, afterward, the girl moved her eyes at him to see the brown tune of his iris grow by looking at her. Lady Frost blushed, then got her arms off the superhero and looked down embarrassed.

"I….uh….I should head back home. Tomorrow I've got school," Lady Frost warned making Fire King nod a little disappointed at the end of their short period of hanging out.

"Sure…...You think there's going to be a training for us this week?" Questioned the redhead making Lady Frost shrug her shoulders.

"Yeah, I think we really should do that at some point. I'm sorry I couldn't come during the weekend,"

"I couldn't come either. The next one might be the same, I'll have to accompany my boss to a picnic,"

"It will go well, don't worry" Assured Lady Frost, then she held up her fist at the superhero, so he could fist-bump her.

"See you tomorrow,"

"See you tomorrow," Lady Frost said walking away, but she turned her head back to look at the friend. "Hasta…..mañana?"

"Si. Hasta mañana," Answered the fire-themed superhero making the blonde smile and jump down of the building to land on the ground, then ran off leaving Rollan's alter ego on the roof of the Trocadero. The boy sighed and sat down on the ground, then looked at the other side to see a few people walking beside the fountain of the Trocadero.

Fire King got up, then began to walk on the roof and suddenly he began to feel an ache on his chest and groaned in pain.

"Madre Mia!" Complained Fire King from feeling the intense pain. "Coal, Cool down!" Shouted Fire King destransforming back into Rollan, then fell down on his knees while beside him his spirit Coal showed up and watched Rollan hold his hands on his stomach.

"You're alright?" Asked Coal, then Rollan let his body fell on top of Coal's head, then whined as he burnt himself on Coal's head and sat up immediately.

"Argh Coal! You burnt me," Complained Rollan passing his hand behind his back, then noticed he had split his spirit into two and now a slimy spirit was present as well. "Oh not again,"
"What happened?" Asked the slim creature.

"Well, Coal number 2…..,"
"I've got a name as well. I'm Slinky," Corrected the slim spirit making Rollan nod.

"Slinky….It's the second or third time, this happens to me when I'm Fire King. I receive this intense pain in me and ich cripple myself down on the ground,"

"Hmm good question. I don't know it,"

"But…..you're the holder of the powers…..you give me these powers, shouldn't you know why this is happening to me?"

"Yes I should, but it's the first time I'm being used like this, and even if this was the 100th time I should know by now why this is happening, but I don't,"

"So I'm the first idiot to be dealing with this, but will this harm me in any way?" Asked Rollan making Coal shrug his shoulders.

"Nothing has happened yet, right?"

"Uh no…..but it could, right?"

"Maybe…...but you know what I noticed?" Questioned Coal, making Rollan shake his head. "You receive this issue when you're active as a superhero for almost an entire day. Maybe this is one of the reasons you've got this,"

"Perhaps…..what do you think. Should I tell Lady Frost or the others about this?"

"Why should you? It's not like it's going to bother them during the fights, right?"

"I guess so," Answered Rollan, then he looked down at the ground, then back at the spirits. "Uhm how am I going to get down now?" Asked Rollan making the two creatures shrug their shoulders.

In a bar in Rotterdam, Kai sat along with Alfida on a table both with a cup of liquid. Alfida's cup was half full and Kai's was still full, nearly untouched. Alfida watched amused the humans dance together in the bar, then she moved her head to Kai, which didn't seem fascinated about what was going on in the bar.

"Are you feeling okay?" Asked Alfida loud, then Kai got up moving his head closer to the girl.

"What?!"

"Are you okay!?"

"I'm just bored!" Answered Kai loud, then Alfida sat down and nodded.

"Have you thought about going on the dance floor?" Questioned Alfida making Kai shake his head.

"I can't dance," Responded Kai embarrassed, making Alfida grin amused by the boy's shyness.

"I don't think it matters anyone here. It's dark and everyone is focused on the other's dance partner,"

"What if I step on your feet or make you fall or worse…..,"
"Don't worry, we'll do it slowly," Alfida offered, then Kai looked at the crowd dancing all wildly and splendid, then Kai shook his head.

"I skip this," Kai commented making Alfida look down, then she sat back and sighed.

"May I have this dance, my lady?" Asked a voice getting the attention of Alfida and in front of her stood a young raven-haired boy holding out his hand to the girl. Alfida frowned, then crossed her arms.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Asked Alfida stern. "I don't even know you,"

The boy chuckled, then she sat across the table between her and Kai, then turned his eyes back at the girl as he took the seat.

"I'm sorry. I'm going to introduce myself to you, my name is Hélder. I turned 18 a couple of days ago and came here to celebrate with a few friends of mine,"
"Cool. I will turn 18 in four months," Alfida commented. "We're traveling and made a stop here. We're actually from Norway,"
"You're Norgewian?" Asked Hélder curious making Alfida nod. "Ah, this is amazing,"

"Wait…..does this mean you're Norwegian too?" Asked Alfida curious making the boy laugh.

"No, no, no. I mean you know I'm from Portugal and people talk to us a lot about Norwegian cod, which one of our main dishes contains,"

"Uh okay," Commented Alfida confused, then the boy scratched the back of his neck.

"That was probably awkward…..I never met anyone from Scandinavia and I was trying to be funny, but It went wrong," Hélder commented making Alfida chuckle, meanwhile, Kai, that was listening to the conversation growled quietly getting jealous at the foreign boy giving Alfida attention.

"Okay, that's cool,"

"It really is!" Kai said louder, then Alfida looked at him along with Hélder.

"Oh hey…..aren't you a little young to be here?" Asked the Portuguese making Alfida chuckle.

"Actually none of us is over 18. I'm close to it, but Kai's still 15," Mentioned Alfida. "A friend of the woman, who dropped us here convinced the barkeepers, that we're old enough, when we're not," Whispered Alfida making Hélder laugh.

"There's no need to whisper. Half of the visitors here know, that most of the baristas here take it easy with the serving. Even I….except I know it from a friend,"

"Okay, that's cool,"

"It really is, huh?" But most of the baristas are careful. They make sure they don't serve too much alcohol to certain persons to avoid alcohol poisoning or anything,"
"Okay, that's reassuring," Alfida stated, then rolled her eyes up as a hip-hop song got played, then she moved her head to the beat, making the raven-haired boy smile.

"You sure you don't want to dance?" Asked Hélder. "It's just for this song,"

"You could dance with me instead if you don't trust this guy?" Kai offered, but the two overheard Kai due to the loud music.

"Did you hear anything?" Asked Alfida making Hélder shrug his shoulders.

"I just heard myself asking you a question," Replied the boy, then Alfida got up from the chair and walked at the dance floor, then Hélder got up and looked at Kai, which frowned looking at the Portuguese, which gave the boy a thumb up, then picked Alfida's hands to dance with her. Kai sank down his head, then lied it down over his arms and sighed.

"What am I thinking? She's older and maturer than you. You're just a lame, painter," Kai commented watching the two copy a couple beside them, then laughed together. Kai sighed, then got up making his way on the side of the room dodging all guests, then headed into the restroom and shrieked as he saw a man puking into a urinal, then Kai moved further ignoring the man and entered into the last cabin of the toilet, then placed the cover up so he could do his business. He heard a familiar squeaking, then he looked up to see Luta glancing through the small, open window.

"Luta! Look away!" Ordered Kai making the weasel frown and turn her head away to give Kai privacy. A few moments later Kai flushed the toilet, then Luta jumped down on his head while Kai had closed the buttons on his pants and left the cabin to wash his hands. "You haven't seen anything, that could help us get into Paris in that train station?" Questioned Kai making the weasel shake her head. "What do you think about going out and look for a place to sleep?"

Luta pointed at the exit of the restroom, then Kai rolled his eyes up at the weasel.

"You mean Alfida?" Asked the boy making the weasel nod. "She's out there dancing with some guy, that claims to be from Portugal I think. You know, it's that one country next to Spain. He's older than me and I don't have a chance to keep up with that guy,"

The weasel face-palmed, then entered into the shirt behind his back causing Kai to jerk up due to feeling the pet clam himself on his back and look out with her head.

"You're not going to help me as you did with Orm?" Questioned Kai, then Luta bites him on his neck making him yelp. "Luta! No!" Exclaimed Kai, followed by the weasel squeaking and pointing forward. Kai sighed, then he frowned and pulled his chest out and stamped out of the restroom crossing the hall, where the guests were dancing and he picked up his glass and Alfida's, then looked at them and up at Luta. Luta smelled on the drink, then looked at Kai, which gulped and took a sip of his cup, then warped his face in disgust at the taste of the alcohol.

"Man…..that's good," Lied Kai making Luta chuckle. Kai frowned, then Luta pointed at the two dancing, then he trotted towards the two, then he tripped over his open shoelaces and dropped both drinks over the two raven-haired teens.

"Kai!" Complained Alfida as she got half of her drink over her overall, while Hélder had gotten his shirt wetter with Kai's drink. Kai looked up with sad eyes at his mishap, then he got up and searched in his jacket's pocket to find a napkin, then offered it to the girl with an embarrassed face.

"I wanted to give you your drink…..I didn't want to cause any trouble," Explained Kai a little frightened, then he watched Hélder look down at Kai's feet to see his shoes weren't tied, then pointed at them.

"I think you should do two knots on the shoes. Sometimes it's the better solution," Hélder suggested, then Kai went down to tie his shoes and Hélder picked up the glasses.

"Hey since these cups are empty, what about I bring us three a drink? I'll pay this round," Offered Hélder making Alfida smile.

"Really? That's not necessary," Answered Alfida, then Hélder romantically approached his head closer to the female, making her feel a little hot.

"A girl like you deserves only the best," Stated Hélder in a flirty manner, then made his way to the bar, then Alfida looked away abashed and watched Kai finish to tie his shoes in his own way and got up.

"I think his option with the two knots would be better. I sometimes do the same with my shoes," Alfida suggested looking at Kai, which was annoyed. Luta looked out of his shirt and looked at Alfida, which got surprised at her appearance. "You smuggled Luta in here?"

"What's the big deal? She's Gerda's pet and she shouldn't be out there on her own," Commented Kai a little rude, making Alfida frown.

"Are you feeling bad in here?" Asked Alfida. "If you are you can just tell me that and we leave. There's no need to play things up here like a child,"
"It's fine….it doesn't matter anyway. I'm just fifteen and you two are almost the same age. I will just punish myself and sit there and wait until you two are done," Commented Kai making Luta face palm, then Kai went to sit down, making Alfida shake her head due to Kai's behavior and observed the others dancing.

Luta shook her head, then looked at the bar to see the Portuguese waiting for his drinks, then a dark-dressed person covered with a hoodie held out his hand flat at Hélder, which looked down at the hand and listened to the mysterious person. Hélder smiled, then watched the man reach his hand to him to pass him something into his own hands, making the Portuguese nod and thank. Luta shrieked and pointed in Hélder's direction distracting Kai from his thoughts, then both saw the boy pick up the three glasses and dropped in the two red-colored drinks, a round pill that resembled effervescent pills into it and the third drink, which was colored green remained untouched by the boy. Kai widened his eyes, then watched Hélder pass by his table and show Alfida the drinks.

"I'm going to check it out," Mentioned Kai getting up from the table, then he got between Alfida and Hélder pushing the girl aside. "Great you brought red for us and green for Alfida, very nice idea," Kai commented making Hélder furrow his eyebrows, then Kai sank them down glaring at the tall boy, then grabbed the green drink to pass it to Alfida and his other hand grabbed one of the red drinks.

"But...Alfida already had a green one before…," Commented Hélder a little tense. "Wouldn't it be better, if she tried one of the red ones? It's Raspberry,"

"You're afraid to get poisoned?" Asked Kai crossing his arms, raising his left eyebrow up, making Alfida raise both her eyebrows curious at Kai's comments.

"No, why should I?" Asked Hélder shocked. "The baristas wouldn't do such a thing," Commented the raven-haired boy.

"Yeah…..I must be overthinking," Kai commented, then he raised the cup up at the Portuguese. "What about we make cheers on….our meeting?" Questioned Kai holding his cup up, then Alfida looked at Kai confused.

"What the heck are you doing?" Asked the pirate girl, making Kai chuckle.

"I just want to show you Hélder here isn't what you think he is,"

"Kai stop judging him. You barely know him,"

"And do you?" Asked Kai making Alfida frown.

"You two are acting so immature, why don't you just drink it or get yourself another drink?" Questioned Alfida making Hélder nod.

"You're right. You know what Kyle? Why don't we both drink it together at the same time?" Asked Hélder making Kai frown, then both slowly placed the glass on their lips and moved the entire thing up into their mouth, making Alfida smile, then she widened her eyes as she saw Hélder having kept the entire liquid in his mouth, while Kai had swallowed the entire drink into him.

"Gosh…..this is disgusting!" Complained Kai about the drink, then saw Hélder almost having a laugh attack with the drink in his mouth making Kai drop his mouth in shock, then he punched Hélder on his stomach causing him to choke himself on the drink while squirting a bit out of his mouth at Kai's face, which felt disgusted by the deed of the older boy. "Are you kidding me!"

Luta jumped off Kai's back onto the arms from Alfida, then watched both boys pack each other on their arms and glare into each other's eyes angry.

"Oh gosh, you two are so embarrassing," Complained the girl doing a facepalm, as Luta stared at them dumbfounded and copied Alfida's pose.

A half-hour later, Alfida went short to the restroom and returned to the place, she had been along with Kai and Hélder, then noticed both boys weren't present.

"Where did they go?" Questioned Alfida herself, then she passed through the crowd to encounter the two boys, she met before at the gas station dancing in a group of young men. "Hey Remo, have you seen Kai?" Asked the girl making the boy shrug his shoulders.

"What about the restrooms?" Asked Remo making Alfida shrug her, then Luta signaled the girl to head to the restrooms and stopped in front of the men's restrooms, then looked around to see if anyone around was able to help Alfida out. The door opened up and a man walked out with a shocked facial expression, then Alfida blocked the man from going further. "Hey, have you seen two raven-heads in there?" Questioned Alfida making the man shake his head.

"One of them was blonde, but don't get in there. It's an embarrassing experience for everyone here to witness it live," The man stated moving on, making Alfida look up at Luta confused, then the girl opened the door carefully and shrieked as she noticed on a mirror's reflection two men, which seemed to be in an intimate moment, shrieking Alfida which closed the door quickly and blocked it with her back.

"Oh my gosh, alcohol can really help people gain a higher confidence," Alfida stated watching Luta cover her eyes, then uncover again. "What if we see if they're out there?" Suggested Alfida making the weasel nod.

In the meanwhile at the outside on the road, Kai walked together with Hélder both laughing aloud.

"I like you so much, Kyle. I don't know why, but you're very…..funny!" Hélder commented, then tripped over the boardwalk and landed on his knees.

"Oh boy you tripped over a large tree root. You gotta be careful," Kai warned and got down, then fell on his own next to Hélder, which grabbed himself on the wall of a building to get up, while Kai lied there observing him.

"Whoa, I adore your arms. They're very meandering," Complimented Kai getting up to look at the boy's arms, then cried looking at his own arms. "My arms have turned into snakes!"

"Snakes?" Asked Hélder covering his eyes feeling dizzy, then felt down on his butt. "Those are pythons,"

"And your scales are falling off your arms!" Shouted Kai pointing at the arms of the Portuguese, which looked at his arms and grinned amazed.

"Have you seen how beautifully shaped those scales are?" Asked Hélder making Kai nod.

"Yes," Answered Kai looking up at the sky to see the stars, which suddenly formed a wave, where a ship began to swim above the wave making Kai smile and get up to get behind it. "Alfida! Wait for me!" Kai called running along the road following the stars.

During the run, he noticed the ship to be going more distant, which made Kai fearing he may lose track of it and he began to run faster and tripped over his shoelaces. "Wait for me! Don't leave me back!" Shouted the boy in panic, then beside her passed Hélder taking off his shirt, followed by his pants, and ran along the street in underwear.

"I'm faster now, I've dropped enough weight to get with you!" Hélder commented following the stars. "I want to go back to Portugal, take me back to Braga! Please!"

"Hey! She's going to France! She's going to my Gerda!" Announced Kai getting up, then he took off his clothes and ran behind the boy while looking up at the stairs seeing the boat of Alfida, dance over the stars

While the two run together, they came across a vagabond pushing a cart filled with covers, then he looked back to see the two boys running and shrieked as Hélder ran into the man's arms to kiss him on the face.

"Obrigada Pai!," Thanked the boy, then jumped on top of the shopping cart, while the homeless man stared confused at the boy while patting his cheek. "Check out my new cabriolet, from C-Class," Commented Hélder placing his hands on the rug glimpsing out of the car, then shove his legs down moving his feet to press the pedal.

The homeless man slowly tapped the boy on the shoulder, then Hélder slapped playfully the man on his back shrieking him and Kai appeared, then climbed on the back of the shopping cart and pointed forward.

"We gotta go there," Announced Kai getting on top of the cart and waited for the car to move further.

"I think it needs a little push," Mentioned Hélder, then Kai got down and began to push the cart forward, then ran while pushing it leaving the homeless man back, which watched Hélder cry in excitement.

Alfida ran across the alley in Rotterdam and recognized the clothing of Kai, then grabbed it in shock.

"Kai!" Exclaimed Alfida, then heard loud waves of laughter and spotted down at the end of the road the two enter with the shopping cart into the main road, where a citizen car just passed by to the opposite direction. "They're going to get themselves killed!" Exclaimed Alfida, then began to ran along the road down to get behind the two boys.

The boys sitting on the cart were approaching a bridge, that passed over a river and the cart crashed against a boardwalk throwing both teens to the ground.

"Where did you learn to drive?" Asked Hélder getting up, then saw a car passing by, making a loud noise with the engine, and Hélder got confused with the wheels spinning, which suddenly had multiplied themselves in his eyes and he got up on his feet, then lost his equilibrium and tripped over the shopping cart. Kai got up from the ground, then looked at Hélder, which lied on his back and spotted on the road various lights, blinding him, and behind it he heard a car honk.

"Wait! I need to get closer to Alfida's ship!" Warned Kai running against the lights, then he crashed against the front of the car, which turned off the lights and the boy slipped off the hood from the vehicle and saw up on the sky a figure made of stars from Gerda, which waved at Kai. "Gerda! Gerda!" Shouted Kai, then saw beside her the Snow Queen show up and freeze Gerda making Kai yell loud. "No!" Shouted Kai getting up and ran towards the wall of the bridge, while at the moment the driver of the vehicle got out looking at the Norwegian kid.

"Wat doe je daar?!" Questioned the driver loud watching Kai trying to climb up on the bridge, then the man ran towards Kai, which moved around the bridge to look into the water and yell at the surface.

"Gerda! Gerda!"

"Jongen!" Shouted the man grabbing Kai on the arm, shrieking the boy, which jumped back and ended up falling into the river putting the man in shock. "Damn it!" Complained the man, then he looked back at Hélder, which tried to get up from the ground and the man grabbed the Portuguese by his hand and took a rug to tie the boy up on the cart, then took a few rugs and placed them on top of the bridge and got up on the bridge and looked around the area to see if anyone else was around.

Alfida appeared standing on top of an emtpy shopping cart she borrowed on her way and used a construction sign to scratch the ground to help it make the curve, then the spotted the foreign man on the bridge jumping into the water, making Alfida curious afterward she spotted the shopping cart Kai and Hélder stole from the homeless man. Alfida shut her eyes up as she spotted the Portuguese trying to move away from the cart, but he was too messed up to realize he was tied up easily on the cart. Alfida moved the cart aside, then crashed with its wheels on the road island in the middle of the road and fell off the cart along with Luta, which landed on her paws, then made her way to the cart to check on Hélder.

Alfida approached the guy and grabbed him on his hair, making him look up at her.

"Where's Kai?" Asked the girl, then the boy began to laugh while lying his back against the cart.

"Kyle is such a great guy, Frieda. He helped me push my new car and now he just ran away," Commented Hélder, then he covered his eyes and began to cry. "We were about to become friends, but now he left me all alone!"

Alfida rolled her eyes, then ran at the bridge to look into the water and squinted her eyes to see a weird illumination down the ground and the water suddenly began to move away from the light as it got bigger and inside the light was the man, that jumped into the water carrying Kai in his arms as he was making his way towards land.

"Kai!" Shouted Alfida running along the bridge to look for a way down to the water and encountered stairs leading down to the bridge, where a cement ground was leading to a harbor. The girl ran down, then approached the part, where the man would appear inside the sphere where he was safe from drowning along with Kai. Alfida dropped her mouth noticing the glitter of the ball, which gave her the assumption, that it must be a sort of magical power. The man moved up on the concrete and the sphere disappeared and he placed Kai down on the ground, then looked at Alfida, which got down on her knees to check on Kai.

"Are you a magician?" Asked Alfida making the man look down unsure, about what he should say and nodded.

"Yes,"

"Just like Kai's parents," Mentioned Alfida then saw Kai beginning to cough, then Alfida looked around to see Luta bringing down a large cover, which Alfida took and helped the man wrap up Kai in it.

"Uhm you're not from here aren't you?" Asked the man making Alfida shake her head. "Hmm I think for now on, he needs to rest at home for a long while," The man said. "Where did he get his hands on?"

"I don't know…...wait…..he told me before something about that someone poisoned his drinks and…...I don't know, this was about 40 minutes ago,"

"I'm a doctor and I'm currently on vacation, but I can figure out, what happened to him," The man said making Alfida nod, then he took up Kai in his arms, then walked stairs up, followed by the former pirate to bring the boys into safety.
