Chapter 23
The song "Prava Lybov" inspired me to make Lady Frost and Fire King dance :3 This is what I get from watching AMV's in other languages. BUT I adore that song.
The students at the Françoise Dupont school had entered into the break and were spread all over the school.
Rollan was spending the break together with Wayhem, Luka, Kim, and Max, which were all eating a bun from the cafeteria. Luka and Wayhem were chatting with each other, while Kim was playing with Max on the Gameboy the short boy had.
"My gosh, you're out of all Parisians 6th place. If you make it to keep your pace, you're able to beat that one Jeremie there," Stated the Vietnamese boy, making his friend nod.
"Juleka and Rose will go with me as well to the cinema. Rollan was on the list, but he rejected me this morning, because of his duties as an Au-Pair," Mentioned Luka making the brunette nod.
"Okay, maybe next time," Wayhem commented looking at the raven-haired boy, which sat on his bench holding his arm under his chin having his eyes closed nearly sleeping. "Adrien has a busy schedule and he's so far I know able to make it through it and poor Rollan here looks like he hasn't slept for hours,"
"It kind of does, to be honest," Commented Luka, then placed his hand on Rollan's shoulder shaking him gently making him open his eyes and wide them in shock.
"I'm sorry!" Apologized Rollan, then Luka patted the friend on the shoulder.
"It's okay, we're just curious about how tired you are today,"
"I couldn't sleep perfectly last night," Complained Rollan while yawning. "I woke up in the middle of the night, because of that one villain, that was making noise with his laser,"
"Yeah that must have been annoying for the ones around your street," Commented Wayhem making Luka nod.
"Hey, why don't we let him nap for a little, while we go out and play a little match?" Offered Luka making Wayhem nod.
"Sure, Kim, Max are you two coming?" Asked the brunette boy, making Kim jump up in excitement.
"There's no need to ask," Kim said and slapped Rollan on his back waking him up, making him startle. "Mano, let's go play!"
"Leave him rest. The best for him is to rest in the break, rather than during the lessons," Commented Wayhem making Kim nod.
"Alright, we'll play together next time," Kim said making Rollan nod and lie his arms down on the table and his chin over it to look at the students sitting around the cafeteria eating.
Rollan moved his eyes as he recognized a high-pitched voice and saw Rose coming along with Juleka and Gerda, which each carried a croissant in their plates. Rollan rolled his eyes down, slowly trying to fall asleep again, then he noticed the three girls stop and Rose dropped her plate on the table along with Juleka, except for Gerda, which noticed Rollan's state and stepped beside him.
"Is everything okay with you, Rollan?" Asked Gerda placing her hand on his back, then he nodded.
"I slept very bad last night and I'm tired," Responded the Spaniard making Gerda nod, which sat down.
"Did you have any nightmares?" Questioned the girl making the boy shake his head.
"It was the noise of the supervillain from yesterday,"
"Oh, then I think I leave you to rest for the rest of the break," Mentioned Gerda making Rollan nod.
"Gracias," Replied the boy, then Gerda patted him on his back and looked at Rose, then shut her eyes up as the petite girl formed with her hands a heart.
"Stop it, Rose," Commented Gerda embarrassed, then the friend giggled and took out her smartphone to show her a planned ticket reservation for a rabbit's movie.
"Wanna see this movie with us?" Asked Rose making Gerda shake her head.
"Today is a bad day. I've got a lot to do at the orphanage…..youth home I mean,"
"What about the 8 pm session?" Questioned Rose and Gerda shook her head.
"I planned to train with a friend," Commented Gerda making Rose sad, then she noticed Rollan and had an idea.
"Hey too bad, you're not coming. Rollan was totally happy to meet you there!" Rose made up, making Juleka chuckle and Gerda grin a little embarrassed.
"Rose…..," Gerda warned the friend, then she shrieked as Rollan lifted up his head.
"I rejected Luka's offer because I have no time," Warned Rollan making Rose grunt.
"Alright…..don't worry, I'll trick you two out next time,"
"What?" Asked Rollan moving up his head up, half-dizzy from the attempted nap, then Rose faked a smile.
"Nothing!" Responded Rose loud, making Gerda laugh and caress the Spanish boy on his back, making him smile afterward she took off her hand to look at her girl friends.
Marinette sat together with Alya on a table watching on Alya's smartphone an amateur video of Fire King along with Lady Frost trying to take off Blaster with the absence of the main superheroes.
"They only made it further as they tried to work together. But for rookies, in my opinion, they're okay,"
"Lady Frost lacks a little on self-confidence as I did back at the start….Oh look I could have told her that as well. That could help her out more,"
"Don't worry, there are more akumas to come. With the time she will be as good as us,"
"You're right Alya," Commented the blue-haired girl, then swiped to an interview with the mayor and returned the smartphone to the friend. "Did you know, that Blaster the akuma from yesterday had lost his family in a car accident?"
"No. Was this the reason he got akumatized?"
"He somehow placed the blame on us superheroes, because none of us was in the near," Commented Marinette, then Alya placed her hand on the friend's shoulder.
"We can't be everywhere at the same time. This was now bad luck, if Hawk Moth didn't have akumatized my dad on that day, the chance of us or the firefighters to save a person's life in time isn't always 100% or 95,"
"You're right Alya, it's just…...sad,"
"You're not a clairvoyant. You're you. Since you started you have saved as many lives. In situations, that any other human being would only need great luck," Commented Alya making Marinette nod, then someone knocked on their table and Marinette screamed, shrieking Alya along with the person, that knocked on their table, which was Adrien Agreste holding a tablet on his hands.
"Uh sorry I didn't mean to scare you," Apologized the blonde, making Marinette chuckle in embarrassment.
"It's fine…..uhm what are you doing….here? Today?" Asked Marinette stammering lesser than usual making Alya smile, then she looked along with the friend at the teeny model.
"I was wondering if any of you knew which student is called Rollan. Both of you represent our class and you're aware of everything and everyone,"
"Yes Rollan, Rollan…..uh….well…." Commented Marinette looking around to see, if she could find the boy. Alya as well looked around and found him immediately, then nudged Marinette to show her his location making her nod.
"Ah he's there with Rose, Juleka, and Gerda," Answered Marinette making Adrien smile.
"Thank you, Marinette. See you later," Said Adrien walking away, leaving Marinette back. Alya gave her friend a thumb up, which smiled proudly and leaned her elbow on top of the tableau on her table, then dropped it down on the ground causing the plates on it to break, earning everyone's attention. Marinette grinned embarrassed, then began to collect the shards of the ground with Alya's help.
Adrien chuckled as he glanced back to see Marinette was the one to break the plates, then reached the table of Gerda and sat on the other side next to Rollan.
"Uh…..is he asleep?" Asked Adrien looking at Rose, which shrugged her shoulders, then Rollan opened his eyes to look at the blonde boy. "You're Rollan, right?"
"Yeah, I'm trying to rest until the next lesson starts,"
"Oh….I just wanted to give you your tablet. I think you have forgotten it in Miss Bustier's class," Mentioned Adrien, then Rollan took it from the Frenchman and held out his hand for Adrien to shake. "You must have had a bad sleep last night?"
"Terrible,"
"I believe you," Responded the blonde with a chuckle. "I heard from Wayhem you had a busy schedule as well and you could need some advice?"
"I'm taking this my way as good as I can. Maybe I'll ask you another day when I need a piece of advice about it," Responded Rollan making Adrien nod, then he took out his smartphone as it received a message and he saw an advertisement for a new magazine with his face on it.
"You're per coincidence not interested in modeling, right?" Questioned Adrien making Rollan shrug.
"What's that?" Asked Rollan, then Adrien opened one gallery on his smartphone to show him photos he has done for modeling.
"You let people take pictures, where you have to look…..uhm very good," Explained Adrien. "I think you would fit in the model career with that face,"
"What's with my face?" Asked Rollan placing his hand on his cheek.
"Nothing. Your face is ideal for images of magazines. You're handsome,"
"Uh thanks,"
"No problem. If you're interested I could ask my father and see what he says," Commented Adrien. "I'm not sure if he will listen to me, but he will be all ears if it has anything to do with his job in a way,"
"Hmm I'm not sure if that's my thing," Commented Rollan.
"You can think about it and if you want I'll ask my dad and see what he says," Offered Adrien. "In the end, I will just need a picture of you to show it to my father. But I'm certain he will find your look to be adequate for photoshoots,"
"Okay," Commented Rollan, then watched Adrien leave his photo album to open one, which was full of pictures of the superheroine Ladybug, which made Rollan have a smug grin on the face.
"You're a Ladybug fanboy," Commented Rollan making Adrien smile sheepishly at the comment.
"Yeah," Responded Adrien. "You….like her too?"
"She's okay. I'm not really interested in her," Commented Rollan. "I don't know all the superheroes that well. I saw them once from the near and for me, Lady Frost kind of looked the most charming to me," The Spaniard mentioned earning Gerda's attention, which looked at the raven-haired boy with a surprised face.
"Okay, I haven't had the chance to give my own opinion," Stated Adrien. "We'll get the chance to see more of her in the future,"
"Yeah, I believe you," Yawned Rollan making Adrien chuckle.
"Okay you really seem to need that nap," Commented Adrien laughing, then continued to swipe through his smartphone and Rollan turned his head aside closing his eyes.
Alfida and Kai slept overnight inside a tent at a central park. Beside their tent on the grass, a gravure made into the ground with a stick looked exactly like the tent, which meant that Kai had managed to use his magic to create a tent by using his drawing skills on the ground.
Inside the tent, both lied with their back against each other still sleeping. The weasel Luta lied on top of Alfida's waist, then she moved her ear and raised up her head, then got down of the girl and stuck out her head of the tent to encounter in the middle of the park a policeman stay together with six prisoners, which had their feet attacked with cuffs to prevent them to run away. Luta flinched her teeth and ran back to Alfida, then nudged the girl on the face tickling her.
„Stop it," Complained the girl laughing, then opened her eyes to see Luta get on top of her waist pointing at the outside. Afterward, Alfida crawled to the gap to look out and see the policeman, then got back into the tent.
„Thanks Luta," Said Alfida, then moved Kai on his shoulders, making him grunt, then Luta jumped on top of Kai's face to wake him up.
„Luta!" Mumbled the boy as the weasel sat on his mouth.
„Get up Kai, there is a policeman in the near. We gotta get out of here before he catches us," Warned Alfida making Kai nod, then Alfida looked out of the tent to see the agent speak to the criminals and moved the tent around, assisted by Kai and after their 180-degree turn, both moved further hastily and Alfida made sure the two would move on safely to the exit of the park.
The two got out of it, then ran out of the tent following the sidewalk to get into the inside of the town.
„That was close," Sighed Alfida in relief, then looked down at Luta, which jumped up at her hand, so she could put Luta on her back.
„Did Luta warn us again?" Asked Kai making Alfida nod.
„Yes," Answered Alfida tickling Luta under her chin, then the weasel hoped at Kai's shoulder to give him a lick.
„Don't worry Luta, it will be only a matter of time, until we're in Paris and find Gerda," Promised Kai making Alfida nod.
„Have you ever thought about how she will react if she sees us?" Questioned Alfida making Kai shrug his shoulders.
„Well…..we never found out why she left," Responded Kai. „No, wait, that one man from Paris took her and Rollan because they were being taken care of in a hospital Hendrick said,"
„Yeah. Don't worry, I believe Gerda will be happy to see us. None of us was aware, that she or Rollan were alive. She must be thinking the same about us. Her Snow Queen-side had thrown us into lake Gao to take our lives,"
„Do you think, she remembers, what she has done, when she was under the control of the Snow Queen?" Questioned the raven-haired boy making Alfida shrug her shoulders.
„Is there a way she wouldn't?"
„I don't know. I'm just wondering, if she remembers everything she's done to us, it's pretty terrifying to live with,"
„You're right about that," Agreed Alfida. „Well one good thing about it will be, when she sees us, she will at least be glad we're okay,"
„Yeah," Commented Kai stopping along with Alfida in front of a zebra crossing, which had across the road a red traffic light. „Where are we actually going?"
„I don't know, but it must be 9 am or something. Maybe we should look for a place to get us breakfast. What do you think?"
„Oh yeah, I'm so hungry I could eat a cow," Confessed Kai, making Alfida shake her head amused by the comment.
„You're not the only one," Commented Alfida, then watched the traffic light change to green and she stepped on the road, therefore she felt someone pull her hand. She looked back at Kai, which was holding her by the hand and she stepped up at the sidewalk again to look at the boy.
„Is there something?"
„I'm…..just wondering if it's worth for both of us to enter into a place to get us breakfast," Spoke Kai, making Alfida shake her head.
„That's not, what you wanted to ask. I can see it on your face,"
„Okay, you're right. I'm worried about what will be about us. You know….when we see Gerda,"
„You're talking about us being in love?" Asked the former pirate girl making the boy nod. „It's up to us two if we want to go a step further or not. Gerda won't mind it for sure. Believe me, Kai,"
„I do," Admitted Kai, making Alfida smile and lean her forehead on her love interest.
Orm sat along with the royal troll family around a table playing a trolls-cardgame.
„Has anyone heard anything about Björgman Jr.?" Questioned Orm looking at the troll king.
„Nothing yet, just that his wife was having a baby at that moment," Responded Arrog putting a card on the table, followed by one of the troll kids.
„His wife had a baby?" Questioned Orm surprised.
„That explained Hans' euphory yesterday," Commented Queen Maribel waiting for the last troll cub to lay down his card before she could. „I'm not aware of the aging of humans, but I could imagine our triplets get along with their kid,"
„I'm not sure if it's a good idea to let our kids play together," Commented Arrog. „Maybe I'm just overreacting,"
„I think if Hans was alright with them and his kid playing together, nothing bad should happen. They're just kids," Mentioned Orm.
„Maybe you're right Orm," Confessed King Arrog. „By the way….have you heard anything of Kai and Alfida?"
„Nothing yet," Responded Orm. „I've been thinking about sending a letter. Eventually, ask Hans or his dad about another way. This world is so modern now, they sure have other methods to contact Kai and Alfida,"
„I think that small, black rectangle Hans showed you yesterday is one sort of way to communicate with others. It's like a telephone, but without interface,"
„Okay,"
„I think as long as Alfida and Kai are together, there's nothing, that can take them down," Orm commented. „Both are reckless in their own ways. Alfida most of all. She grew up with pirates and fights like a pro,"
„There I have to give you right," Agreed the king, then someone knocked on the door and the adult trolls looked at the entrance to see Marco Björgman stand by the door.
„Good afternoon," Greeted Marco watching Arrog wave to give permission to enter and the Norwegian man approached the table. „How's everyone doing?"
„We're good," Responded Arrog while Orm nodded.
„How's the baby doing?" Asked Maribel. „We heard about Hans' wife yesterday,"
„Anastacia's doing well. Everything went after plan. Little Hanna is for now lying with her mom in the hospital and at the end of the week they will return home," Explained the man taking out his smartphone to open the gallery and show the latest picture, which showed the baby lying inside the crib and under it was the information related with the birth.
„Human babies look kind of…," Commented Orm, followed by the table move up as Arrog kicked Orm's leg from under the table. „Ouch!"
„Isn't she an angel?" Asked Marco showing it to Arrog and Maribel.
„They're quite bigger, than our cubs were," Mentioned Maribel making her husband nod.
„The first year she will grow really fast and maybe be around the height of your boys," Mentioned Marco making the Queen nod.
„I'm not familiar with the age scale of humans, but I think they age quicker," Stated King Arrog. „What will be about the planned meeting we had with Hans this week? Will it be postponed?"
„Hans will have mandatory paternity leave for two weeks. After that I see, when it's okay to do the meeting,"
„Okay and what about the museum and the plan we had set in temporarily?"
„I think the museum could need a break for a few weeks. If you'd like, you could change decorations or add something new to it. Anything you want. If you have anything to help out our museum feel free to tell us. I'm trying to bring my own ideas into it. Hans may bring something as well….or well I think the next weeks he won't be really around for it, but we'll see what comes to us,"
„I'm okay with that," Commented Arrog. „If you see your son, tell him we all wish him and his family health and that this new path of his life will bring him new joy into his life" Wished the troll king making the senior smile.
At night, Luka, Rose, Wayhem, and Juleka stood in the afternoon inside the cinema in a queue to buy tickets for a movie.
„I'm not sure if any of you is looking at the board up there, but I don't think we're going to make it into this session," Wayhem mentioned making Luka shrug his shoulders.
„I heard the movie had done bad at the critics. Something about the protagonist not being likable," Luka commented.
„Maybe we can wait for the next session or pick another movie," Rose suggested looking at the taller teens. „Is it okay?" Asked the blonde watching Luka point at the screen, which crossed through their movie.
„Alright I think we should begin to look for another movie," Mentioned Luka making Wayhem nod and look at the list with the free seats in the other cinema halls.
„I haven't seen the trailers of any other movie there….Well all animation movies," Wayhem commented making Luka nod.
„I only saw from Into the Bug-verse and Bewitching," Luka mentioned.
„I saw the trailer from Caveman and some strange poster with some odd-looking Snow Queen-like guy," Commented Rose watching Wayhem listen to her.
„You mean the protagonist of the protectors of the lights?" Questioned the brunette boy making Rose shake her head.
„Nope," Responded Rose, then looked up at Juleka which was looking at the seats getting sold out quickly in other movies.
„Why don't we randomly pick one or go for one, no one knows what's it about?" Suggested Wayhem. „Sometimes its more worth to watch movies without a trailer,"
„Juleka, have you got a suggestion, that we could go for?" Questioned the older brother looking at her sister, which shrugged and Luka nodded giving her a little confidence to try to speak out.
„It doesn't matter if none of us know it or have heard of it," Rose commented placing her hand on her friend's shoulder, which looked up at the list.
„Too bad Retro vs Internet isn't out yet," Stated Wayhem looking at another TV across the hall, which showed advertisements for other movies.
„How does the movie the missing queen sound?" Questioned Juleka, then their crew moved forward to see the next group order their tickets. Wayhem took out his smartphone to see if he could find anything about the movie and shrugged his shoulders.
„It's a Ukrainian movie and it seems to be its first one," Stated Wayhem.
„Hmm okay, didn't know anything about them having a movie or any other country, besides the USA, France and so on," Rose mentioned.
„I have seen lately China and Russia slowly growing in the international animation movie branch," Mentioned Wayhem. „Oh I remember seeing this one animation movie, which kind of…...turned naughty at one point,"
„If you're talking about the one with the demons, I watched it along with Juleka and it was pretty embarrassing for both of us," Mentioned Luka looking at Juleka, which nodded.
„I had no idea it was like that," Commented Juleka making the boys nod, then they stepped further to order the tickets.
„We'd like four tickets for the missing queen," Asked Rose, then looked at the trio. „Are we going with this one?"
„Sure," Responded the trio waiting for the woman on the desk to search for free spots for the group.
Fire King was present at a vegetable shop and looked at the vegetables, that was displayed in the boxes in front of the entrance. Fire King looked at them smiling at seeing the various, large sizes of them, and looked at the window to see a young woman sort a couple of corncobs, then noticed the redhead. The woman smiled, then grabbed two cobs and left the store to meet the superhero.
„You must be the new superhero….Fire King, right?" Asked the woman making the boy nod.
„At your service, Mi señora," Commented Fire King bowing down making the woman chuckle.
„I've got nothing special to give you, but if you're okay, I'd like you to accept these two corncobs as a little thank you. In case you don't like them I can offer you something else,"
„Oh wow, that wasn't really necessary. It's my duty," Commented the brown-eyed superhero.
„Yeah in a way it is, but you're not obligated to do that. You earn nothing, but recognition,"
„It's fine for me, really. I like this, to be honest," Commented Fire King making the woman shrug and hand him out the corncobs.
„Here, I hope you enjoy it taste. They're bio," Commented the woman making Fire King nod, which watched the woman head back to the store. Fire King looked at an advertisement of the store explaining their bio symbol, which the Spaniard couldn't understand. He had an idea, afterward shove one of the cobs into the pocket of his clothing and walked further holding the second one in his hand, then tried to use his hand to roast the cob with his power.
„Wow it's actually working," Commented Fire King continuing to cook his corncob, then stopped the fire and leaned it up onto his nose to smell. „Mmmh" Commented Fire King taking a bite afterward. „Delicioso,"
While he was eating, he looked across the road seeing the cars passing by on the road, then he heard a truck honk and squinted his eyes to recognize the superheroine Lady Frost pass in front of a truck, that had stopped to avoid hitting the heroine, which was using her ice powers to travel on the ground.
„Not bad," Commented Rollan's alter ego watching the heroine take a turn to head to his direction, then Fire King stood on the street observing her work on her ice path.
Lady Frost finished the path near the shop, where Fire King was standing, and continued to slide on her feet, then she got off the path and tripped over her own feet failing the attempted stop ending up crashing against Fire King's arms, causing him to lose his food.
„Caught you," Commented Fire King looking away from the corncob he lost due to Lady Frost's mishap.
„I'm sorry about your dinner," Commented the blonde watching Fire King pick it up and puff at the cob.
„It's fine. Still eatable," Noticed Fire King taking another bite of the corncob. „You've got any plan, what you want to practice?" Mumbled Fire King while eating.
„Maybe, what our powers can do. Or I'd like to know, if I can do more with them," Stated Lady Frost making Fire King nod.
„I know the things you've shown the last times. Do you think you've got more than that?" Questioned Fire King. „Like maybe you can use I don't know….your mouth to spit ice maybe?"
„Why should I be able to do this?" Questioned Gerda's alter ego. „It kind of makes no sense,"
„I don't know. It could work…..I'm probably able to spit fire as well...wait a second…." Commented Fire King looking away from her and began to puff out air, making noise from spitting out a little bit of saliva from his mouth.
„Okay I don't think this will work on me, but I'll give it a try," Elaborated the blonde girl, then pointed out her lips to puff, and out of her mouth came out a cold breeze, making Fire King drop his mouth, then threw his cob against it watching it freeze with her breath.
„Wow," Commented the redhead watching the cob land on the ground breaking into two pieces. Lady Frost looked down at it, then smiled astonished, that Fire King's idea actually worked on her.
„That was actually pretty cool," Stated the blonde making the friend nod.
„Yes, now you can freeze someone like that too. Maybe in a close-distance fight like if you're punching someone you can use your mouth,"
„Yes, as I see I can create myself a road to slide on it, create things with ice and shot ice blasts against people," Counted Lady Frost walking along with Fire King at a bridge, that carried them over the Seine.
„Do you also love the sound of the river?" Questioned Lady Frost making Fire King shrug his shoulders.
„It's nice," Answered Fire King, then widened his eyes in surprise along with the superheroine, as they had both an idea. „I've got an idea,"
„You gave me an idea," Lady Frost commented along with Fire King, which tilted his head to listen to her. „I'm sure I'm able as well to freeze the water surface,"
„Oh that I want to see," Commented Fire King running at the wall to look down at the river, then stared back at the girl. „What are you waiting for?"
„I'm not feeling safe to go down there alone. What if I fail and drown?"
„You can't swim?" Asked Fire King curious making the girl shrug her shoulders.
„I'm not quite good at it," Commented Lady Frost. „I mean I do swim, it's just I've never swum in a river or anything that's big,"
„Hmm we can go on the side and look for a way to get in those little ports on the side of the river or one of those ways I saw the other day, where we can go down closer to the river? Then we're closer to the river and you can try to use your ice on the water,"
„Cool, thanks King," Said Lady Frost earning a courteous smile from the brown-eyed superhero, which walked along with her aside from the bridge.
During the movie Luka, Juleka and Rose were focused on the movie, except for Wayhem, which was using his smartphone throughout the audience.
„Oh no he fell for the diversion," Commented Rose sad looking at the large screen to see a young man walk away leaving a teenage boy back looking at the fourth wall in shock.
„Maybe he's going to find it out," Mentioned Juleka. „Why would he give up so easily?"
„For the climax I guess," Replied Luka quiet making Juleka nod.
„Am I distracting you with my smartphone?" Questioned Wayhem making Luka shake his head. „I'm just texting Kim"
„Okay," Commented Luka, then looked at Rose, which slowly dropped her head on Juleka's shoulder, which smiled warmly at the petite friend's deed. Luka smiled, then took out his smartphone to write down a text on his smartphone and held it up above Rose's head waiting for Juleka to notice.
„You know….it's kind of sad we couldn't bring Gerda and Rollan here. They would enjoy seeing this," Commented Rose.
„Maybe," Commented Juleka. „I don't know if Rollan likes these sort of movies,"
„He'll need to give it a try," Mentioned Rose. „Oh, you know what we have to do next time? When he and Gerda tag along, we'll need to pick up a romance-comedy movie or something," Suggested Rose. „What do you think?"
„I believe he would rather watch action or adventure movies," Commented Luka. „Or movies with superheroes, supernatural creatures or thriller,"
„I think she wanted the first option because she knows Gerda is attracted to Rollan," Mentioned Juleka making Luka nod, then Juleka saw the note on Luka's smartphone.
„Ah and she wants to bring them together, right?" Questioned Luka making his sister nod. „Typical Rose," Commented Luka glancing down at the blonde.
„Why not? Both would be adorable together. They already get along pretty well and have no problem talking with the other. It's just a matter of time," Gushed the girl with the pink dress.
„Huh. Mr. Vert used to say that friendship between a girl and a boy most of the time leads to love. If that's going to be the case, it will be okay,"
„See?" Commented Rose making Juleka nod, that placed her hand behind the back of the girl to pet her. Luka whistled at his sister to make her see the text on his smartphone, which Juleka then read and shook her head.
„No," Whispered Juleka making Luka frown, then erase his sentence and type down something else to show it to the girl. She read the text and looked at Luka confused.
„Come on, it's not so bad," Whispered Luka. „Go for it,"
Juleka rolled her eyes down at the short girl, then sighed and pondered about his comment. Juleka looked at Rose again seeing her focusing on the animation movie, afterward Juleka carefully leaned her face on Rose's forehead kissing the friend gently on the forehead, making her wide her eyes in surprise. Luka gave Juleka a thumb up, then looked at Rose, which grinned a little embarrassed and Luka smiled at Juleka, which stared at her brother unsure about how it went. Luka moved his hand up pretending to be patting something, then Juleka slowly began to caress Rose on her back, making the petite girl giggle, and the tall girl smiled a little enchanted at the friend's reaction, then continued making Luka smile pleased with his sister showing now more confidence.
At a small port next to the Seine river Fire King stood together with Lady Frost gazing at the current passing.
„Okay, here we are," Avowed the fire-themed superhero looking at the blonde heroine, that observed the flow of the river.
„Alright, so I believe I need to think or no…...I'll need to do it the same way I did before on the road,"
„Maybe you need to freeze your way over the river a little earlier or do a big part of it?" Suggested Fire King. „I'm not sure if it works in one way or the other better,"
„Well, I've got time. I could give it a try by freezing the entire surface of the river… well a large area of it," Lady Frost mentioned glancing up at the boy, which nodded.
„Okay, I think you should give it a try," Demanded the redhead watching Lady Frost look at the river holding out her hands flat, before doing anything and she returned her face to the redhead. „Uh….."
„Sorry, I'm kind of…."
„You need psychical support in some way? I'm not sure if I'm good at it," Mentioned the redhead making Gerda's alter ego shake her head.
„No more of a little encouragement," Mentioned the ice-themed superheroine making Fire King give her a thumb up.
„That's what I meant to ask, but I forgot the actual word. Perdona-me," Apologized the redhead making the girl chuckle. „Focus on yourself and held those hands upright," Commanded Fire King watching the girl move her hands a little to stay right in position. „Now, concentrate and aim the ice at the water, then try to keep them working long just how you did it back on the road,"
„Uh hum," Murmured Lady Frost taking a deep breath, then released the power from her hand causing the breeze pass over the river slowly causing layers on the surface. Fire King gave the heroine a thumb up seeing the river freeze with the power of the girl. Afterward, as the ice passed under the two bridges aside them, Lady Frost stopped and ribbed her hands together, followed by Fire King applauding at the heroine.
„Magnifico!" Chanted Fire King making the girl smile and look down at the shallow, then stepped on it to walk carefully on it.
„I'm not sure, but the ice seems to be pretty sturdy. You have to check it out," Commented Lady Frost looking back at Fire King, which jumped at the ice, then fell down on his back and slid across the surface passing beside the girl, which looked down in surprise at the boy.
„You're okay?" Asked Lady Frost looking down at the boy, which was a little embarrassed at his fall, then he positioned himself in another position by putting his one hand under his head and maintained his elbow up, pretending to look cool.
„That was a pretty rough ride," Commented Fire King making Lady Frost chuckle.
„Nice try. I know you fell and that's okay. It could have happened to anyone else as well," Stated Lady Frost giving her hand to the superhero to help him up.
„Gracias," Replied Fire King, then the heroine slipped as well and got caught by the boy, which held her behind the back. „Oy careful!" Warned Fire King helping the girl up, which smiled embarrassed.
„See, told you," Commented Lady Frost jokingly, then Fire King looked around the surface and began to ice skate on his own boots to head to the end of the ice, then he bowed down to slow down and stop at the edge to look at the reflection of the full moon.
„Awesome," Commented Fire King, then Lady Frost approached the friend, which passed his hand inside the water, then began to scream in pain as he removed his hand, which fumed slightly. „Argh!"
„What happened?" Asked Lady Frost seeing his hand, then he shook the hand trying to cool it down.
„My hand just got a terrible pain after I dived it in the water," Stated Fire King watching Lady Frost grab his hand to look at it, then shrugged.
„Weird," Commented the blue-eyed girl, then looked at the bridge's column, then looked at her hands again and had an idea. She began to create a small ice ramp over the frozen edge of the river and made a path going over the lake, then observed its consistency, which wasn't as good as she expected, and stopped.
„Why did you stop?" Questioned Fire King.
„I wasn't sure if it would work well, King,"
„We're training here. We can see if some things don't work with us, so we're aware of it in the future. Now I know, that I can't touch water, cause it causes pain to me,"
„Perhaps, because you're like fire and a large amount of water could hurt you badly or well…..do that," Commented Lady Frost making Fire King nod.
„Exactly. Come give it a try,"
„Okay," Said Lady Frost taking a deep breath, then began to create a path against the column of the bridge, then focused on the path she made watching more ice build around it forming a stronger cohesion, making Fire King smile amazed by the creation of the ice-themed superheroine.
„Wow Frosty, this is amazing!" Commented Fire King jumping on top of the path to head to the column, but he slipped back, shrieking Lady Frost, which accidentally shot her power creating a bend at the end of the path, where Fire King slipped over it against her arms.
„Woah!" Exclaimed Fire King, then noticed Lady Frost had caught him, making him grin embarrassed and she dropped him on the ground, therefore leaned her hand out for him to get up. „That was actually a good thing you did,"
„Thanks," Said Lady Frost, then heard a bunch of teens laugh loud and she looked along with Fire King up at the bridge to see a group of young men, dressed in dark clothing and joggers, which were purposely put around the middle of their underwear. Lady Frost had spotted that and warped her face in disgust, while Fire King pouted about how he felt about that style.
„That's some odd clothing," Mentioned the redhead exchanging looks with the blonde, which began to laugh.
„You're right, King. Honestly, if I saw someone like that in my near I wouldn't handle to keep my mouth shut,"
„Me neither," Added Fire King. „I think the people from my old school would have pulled their underwear up high," Commented Fire King making the blonde chuckle.
„Did the boys in your school do that?" Questioned Lady Frost making Fire King shrug his shoulders.
„Not because of that, but some boys had the bad luck to have bullies do that," Commented Fire King. „I was lucky to have another issue,"
„Bullies are the worst. Whatever they do or have done to you, you should never take it personally. They're just want to have power by taking the easier prey and train on them,"
„That's what a friend of mine said,"
„He or she sounds like a good one," Commented Lady Frost making Fire King nod.
„She really is. I think we really should get to know each other better in the future. She's a quite fascinating girl," Told the fire-themed superhero making Gerda's alter ego nod.
„Go for it, King," Cheered the blonde making the boy chuckle, then one of the teens took out his smartphone and opened the sports bag of a friend to search for something in it and took out a round box to press on the button and shove it back, then pressed on his smartphone and from the bag of the friend a music began to play loud.
„You guys gotta listen to this song here," Commented the boy, the Fire King began to move his head to the song.
„This sounds cool," Commented Fire King watching Lady Frost look up to the group to recognize the song of the music.
„It sounds like they're singing in Russian," Stated Lady Frost watching Fire King march forward enjoying the sound of the pop song.
„I don't know what you think about it, but I kind of like it," Commented Fire King, beginning to dance on his own making Lady Frost smile amused at his behavior.
„Want to dance?" Asked Fire King making Lady Frost shrug her shoulders, then Fire King grabbed the girl by her hands gently and walked backward on the ice to dance with her, in a more active way.
Fire King was enjoying the time there on the ice, then held his fists near each other and began to spin them around while moving back and forth with his feet. Lady Frost found Fire King's moves hilarious, then stood beside him trying to copy him. Fire King nodded amused by seeing the heroine having fun, then took her by the hand and pulled her to him, then moved a few steps back, afterward he guided her back seeing she was first confused, but understood what he was up to in the move and took the lead guiding him away from her, afterward returned the turn to the redhead.
Lady Frost enjoyed the dance with the redhead, then held out her hand at the redhead, which gladly took it and moved aside with her and placed his hand around her waist to move sidewards. Both stopped and Fire King let Lady Frost out of her arms, then pulled her back and moved along the double of the steps to the other side of the ground. Again Fire King launched the girl, while holding her by the hand watching her spin hastily and return back to the redhead, which caught her, then sank her down at the ground to retrieve her back to his arms. Lady Frost chuckled at their dance act, then she pulled the redhead behind her and tripped over his feet, then he reacted in surprise and grabbed the girl under her arms to pull her up and make her hit with her head on his nose, making him shake the head perturbed. Lady Frost grinned embarrassed at the friend, then looked into the eyes of the superhero, slowly dropping her chin in awe while Fire King had a gentle smile plastered on his face when looking down at the shorter girl. The male's smile grew more by looking at the superheroine, which turned her face away and got off Fire King's arms.
„I'm sorry," Apologized Lady Frost. „I didn't mean to hurt you,"
„It's okay, nothing's broken," Commented Fire King passing his hand over his nose, then Lady Frost looked at her arms and stepped back.
„I….should really get home before I'm grounded or anything," Commented Lady Frost, then slid away and waved back at the redhead, which mirrored her arm movement. Fire King chuckled at the girl's abashed reaction and left the ice field as well to make his way home.
