Chapter 6

Survival and recovery

Not far away is female demon. Her name is Taimi she's 5'8" has blonde hair, blue eyes, and has a green plant marking on her forehead. Taimi is on her way home when she smelled the scent of blood. She followed the scent and found a male dog demon. The female tried shaking him but he didn't respond. She checked the male's pulse and can feel one. Taimi rolled the male onto his back. She grabbed his amour and dragged him to her house. Once at her house she laid him on an extra bed. Taimi removed the male's armor and unstrapped the sword from his back. She then got her herbs, rags, and a bucket of water.

Then she got to work taking care of the male demon's wounds. The left side of his face, neck, arm, and leg are badly burnt. She can tell that his is severely fractured. So Taimi splinted his leg using bamboo and bandages. Ten minutes later Taimi is finished taking care of the male's wounds. She got a cup and filled it with water. The female demon put it to the male's mouth. Luckily the male demon started drinking. Then Taimi sat back and looked at the male. The more she looked at him the more. That he looks like the demon lord of the western lands. She will try her best to help him.

The next day Taimi is out looking for herbs. She's looking for herbs because she needs some more. And because the male demon has spiked a fever. At Izayoi's castle which has burnt to the ground. Totsai and Myoga have found Tessaiga and Tenseiga. They haven't found any remains of their mater nor Sounga.

"Maybe the flames were so hot. That Sounga melted and the Master is nothing but ash." theorized Totsai

"It's possible then explain Tessaiga and Tenseiga." said Myoga

"Well their sheaths were made from a demon tree. And the swords themselves were forged from the Master's fang." informed Totsai

It was quite for a moment then Totsai asked "Now what to do with the swords?" asked Totsai

" I do know that the Master wants Tenseiga to go to Sesshomaru. But without remains to put it in that leaves Tessaiga." informed Myoga

"I could hide and seal away Tessaiga. Until Inuyasha is old enough to have it." assured Totsai

"That sounds good to me." stated Myoga

Totsai took the swords and nailed Tenseiga to a demon tree. Then he went to hide and seal away Tessaiga. Two months have passed and Toga is still out cold. His wounds and burns have mostly healed. His leg isn't quite healed yet. Taimi is putting a herbal sath on the male's burns. Just as she finished she heard the male demon moan. She watched as he opened his golden eyes. The male looked around and saw Taimi.

"Where.. where am I?" asked the male

"You are in my house in the northern lands. I found you while I was on my way home." informed Taimi

"Who are you?" asked the male

"My name is Taimi I am a wolf demon healer." replied Taimi

"Thank you for helping. My name is Toga." thanked Toga

"So you are the demon lord of the western lands. I've heard about you." smiled Taimi

Taimi stood and asked "Do you need anything?"

"I am hungry." replied Toga

Taimi nodded and went to leave her home.

"Lady Taimi could you ask the wolves. To find my wife and infant son. And make sure that they are ok?" asked Toga

"Sure what are their names?" asked Taimi

"Izayoi and Inuyasha." replied Toga

Taimi nodded and left her home. First she hunted down deer. Then she howled for some wolf friends of hers. She asked them to try to find Izayoi and Inuyasha. Taimi then gathered firewood and headed home. Once back at her house she went in and built a fire. The she cut enough meat off of the deer for her and Toga. She then set things up to cook the meat. As the meat cooked Toga slowly sat up. He leaned against the wall and looked at his leg.

"What's wrong with my leg Lady Taimi?" asked Toga

"It is severely fractured and burnt." replied Taimi

Toga nodded and said "Thank you again for taking care of me."

"It's no problem it's what I do. I am a healer after all." assured Taimi

When the meat was done cooking Toga and Taimi ate. A month has passed and Toga's wounds and burns. Have completely healed and right now. Taimi is taking the splint off of Toga's left leg. Once she removed the splint she felt his left leg. To her the bone feel like it has fully healed. The she took a look at the burns that have healed. Unfortunately the burns on the left side of Toga's face, his neck, left arm, and left leg have scared. But the jagged blue marking on his cheek is still visible.

"Ok My Lord try standing up." suggested Taimi

Toga grabbed Sounga and used it to stand up. Not the he is standing Toga took two steps forward.

"How does you leg feel My Lord?" asked Taimi

"It feels stiff and sore. And please call me Toga." replied Toga

Just then a wolf came into Taimi's house. She knelt down and talked to the wolf. After talking with the wolf it left.

"Your wife and infant son are. Living in a village in the southern lands." informed Taimi

"Thank you Lady Taimi for everything you've done for me." thanked Toga

"You're welcome Toga. If you need anything else. You know where I am." assured Taimi

Toga went outside and went to transformed. But he hollered in pain and stopped. He returned to his normal form.

"Why can't I transform?" asked Toga

Taimi came out of her home. She looked at Toga and asked "What's wrong Toga?"

"I tried to transform but I couldn't. It hurt to much to fully transform." replied Toga

"Your injuries and burns were serve. And some of them did scar. Maybe those scars are keeping you from transforming." theorized Taimi

Toga shook his head and asked "Do I need more time to recover? Will I ever transform again?"

"You are perfectly healthy Toga. Given your injuries, scars, and age. You might not be able to transform." guessed Taimi

Toga shook his head again and replied "Maybe I will stay a while longer. And maybe you can teach me how to talk to the wolves. Just in case I ever need their your help."

"Shouldn't be to hard to teach you." agreed Taimi

Eight moths have passed and Toga is feeling and doing well. He still can't transform but he can communicate with wolves. Today he is leaving Taimi's house. Toga wants to catch up with Izayoi and Inuyasha. According to the wolves Izayoi and Inuyasha. Are still living in a village in the southern lands. Toga went outside and so did Taimi.

"Thank you for everything Lady Taimi." thanked Toga

"You're welcome not get going going." coxed Taimi

Toga nodded and took off into the sky. Taimi watched until Toga was out of sight.
