Chapter 45
Gerda continued attached on the bars of the Eiffel Tower watching a news time helicopter afar from the point of the tower filming the crowd, that had left the Eiffel tower being evacuated by the police force.
Down in between the crowd Rollan stuck between the people looking around for a way to go throughout the crowd.
„Where are the superheroes?" Questioned Rollan looking around the sky wondering, where the team was and got elbowed on his stomach as someone raced through the crowd to escape. „Ouch! Hey!" Complained Rollan still moving through the number of people, then encountered someone falling in front of his feet and Rollan bowed down to help him up.
„You're okay?" Asked Rollan, then got surprised as he recognized Gerda's younger brother. „Kai?"
„Have you seen Gerda?" Questioned Kai making Rollan shake his head.
„Not in person, but she's up there somewhere at the Eiffel tower," Answered Rollan. „The villain Hawk Moth kidnapped her for some reason,"
„He appeared when I was walking home with her. He had pushed me down and tugged her into the car then left!" Complained Kai. „Alfida went to look for something to help us out,"
„And where is she exactly?" Questioned Rollan.
„Somewhere down at the port. It's the only place she can immediately find something," Answered Kai making Rollan nod.
„Alright, let's continue our way. It's a long way up to the tower," Said Rollan grabbing Kai on the arm, then ran through the crowd and they got out of the crowd heading to the fencing, that was placed by the police and one agent stopped the two boys from passing.
„Hey! You can't get in there. It's dangerous," Warned the policeman.
„My sister's up there! I can't let her up there on her own," Countered Kai making Rollan nod.
„I'm sorry, I know how much your sister means to you two, but this is the orders I have to follow," Explained the policeman, making Kai nod sad, while Rollan sank his head down.
„I'm sorry Kai," Apologized Rollan, then Kai shook his head.
„We'll wait for Alfida, she sure has a…..." Spoke Kai watching Rollan grab on the police staff while pulling him by the leg down on the ground and ran towards the entrance.
„Run!" Shouted Rollan leaving Kai back, which didn't expect Rollan to break through the guy.
„Hey! Why didn't you say something?!" Complained Kai passing over the man to follow Rollan, then he saw two police agents had got out of their position to run towards the younger boy. „Go faster, two men are running behind us!" Warned Kai watching Rollan stop by the entrance to look at Kai coming along, then one guy caught Kai making him yell. Rollan watched the other agent come along, then Rollan continued his way up the tower to make it up to the top.
Above the tower Hawk Moth glimpsed down at the crowd to see two police agents pull out Kai, then Hawk Moth chuckled and looked up at the girl which still had her mouth covered. Hawk Moth got up to the girl, then uncovered her mouth.
„I saw your boyfriend down there been taken away by the police. What about you cry for help" Asked Hawk Moth making Gerda frown. „Of course it's him, I remember seeing him yesterday. A little short for my taste," Cackled the villain, making Gerda furrow her eyebrows.
„Kai?" Questioned Gerda.
„Kai….is he someone else?" Questioned Hawk Moth making Gerda nod.
„My brother," Answered Gerda. „The one you pushed on the ground when you kidnapped me,"
„He's not quite a fighter I see," Stated Hawk Moth watching the police put Kai back into the crowd, which stood there looking at the police annoyed.
„If we're lucky we may be able to get your brother on my side and make ourselves easier in obtaining the miraculouses," Stated Hawk Moth making Gerda sigh at Hawk Moth's comment.
Adrien stood at the entrance of the manor as Carapace arrived along with Ryuko and waved his hand at the duo.
„Where's Queen Bee?" Questioned Adrien making Ryuko shrug her shoulders.
„I don't know. There was something up with her parents, that Ladybug decided to skip it to avoid trouble," Explained Carapace.
„Have you called the cops?" Questioned Ryuko making Adrien nod.
„They had at the moment no one available to come to check it out," Mentioned Adrien. „I feel like they didn't feel like I meant it,"
„Alright, don't worry. I think I have a good idea," Said Ryuko. „You're….you've got lots of followers on Facestargram, right?" Asked the blue-haired heroine making the blonde nod.
„Yeah,"
„Record everything on life and more than one person will see what is going on inside here," Said Ryuko making Adrien nod.
„Okay, but…..what should I say?" Asked Adrien.
„The truth," Responded Ryuko. „Just be honest and be open about it. Tell everything you feel like it's needed,"
„Okay, but…...how will people feel about, when they see my dad was Hawk Moth all along?" Questioned the Frenchman, then Carapace placed his hand on the friend's shoulder.
„Listen, dude forgot about everyone else. No one can't blame you for the shit of dad you have. Just tell the facts you have in life and show them your mom in the basement. Or the other way around, whatever sounds better. They will understand it, believe me,"
„Alright I'll do it," Said Adrien taking out his smartphone, then opened his account to open up the live stream and see around 50 people entering into his recording immediately.
„Hello guys, it's me Adrien Agreste. You're all probably wondering, why I am doing a live stream right now. I'm here with the superheroes, cause they discovered something weird in here and I had to check it out to be sure of what it was and…...I don't know, I believe filming this, so everyone would see could work out for me and for everyone else," Said Adrien, then he moved his camera to the portrait of his mother and approached it. „This portrait of my mother looked to me like a normal painting, but we figured out behind this there's a secret code, that activates a door under the ground, which is placed here somewhere," Adrien said moving his camera down at the ground, then moved it at the painting to show Ryuko press the four buttons from the other time and looked back to see Adrien adjust his camera down at the ground to show it opening the floor and Adrien held the camera out to show the large repository while descending it.
„It looks like a basic, large garden or sewerage of some sort, but we had crossed this place and figured out odd things in here, which I am going to show," Adrien continued explaining, then walked across the place and looked down at the viewers, which had got up at 162.047 viewers, continuing to raise up slowly. „I'm not sure how you all are going to react to this, but if I know remember the first time I accidentally got here I couldn't believe what I saw and I went crazy….Like whose father would tell his own son, his mother is gone but for some reason, you find her body inside a coffin under your own house,"
Adrien held his smartphone at the coffin showing his mother lie peacefully in it then took a deep breath, trying to keep down his emotion as from behind him Carapace looked in shock at the glass-made coffin.
„I have the urge to punch this guy so hard, it catapults him up at Uranus," Commented Carapace passing beside the boy to look at the coffin, then analyzed it. „Whatever led her to be down here, it must have been something harsh between her and your father," Stated Carapace watching Adrien move at the bush to uncover it and show a cage filled with butterflies making Carapace drop his chin.
„Are those the butterflies Hawk Moth uses against us all?" Questioned Carapace watching Adrien shrug his shoulders.
„Everything I noticed, every little clue Ladybug figured out and showed it to me or any other superhero, all this had led to my father and now we're here in this place and find all this. Whatever his plan is from being Paris' most wanted villain has to do with her or…..he's doing this for her….or…..I don't even know…...this is all…..terrible,"
„Humans have a might tendency…. A part of them thought…..to play god. Whatever led your mother in here, mustn't have been naturally. Must have been an accident, an injury, disease or anything else we're not aware of,"
„I would have understood, if she had a disease or anything like, that could end her life soon. I've got one of my classmates, that has a similar issue and on a specific occasion, it could happen such thing…...My mother…..I don't know, what happened…...Why father is doing this. Why he didn't just tell me she was dead or anything else,"
„Telling a child about a dead parent isn't easy, but lying isn't also the best solution, mostly about such a scene. Something tells me, there was something different going on, that made her land here,"
„Carapace, you think we can get this out of here?" Asked Adrien watching the hero shrug his shoulders.
„I think it would be a nice idea to call paramedics and follow their orders. They sure know how to act in this situation," Suggested Carapace, then looked at the camera. „Dear followers, you're all our witnesses. We're all now aware of Hawk Moth's real alter ego. No jokes or games. This is the real deal. Help us inform anyone of the law enforcement to come over here and check it out. We will be waiting," Said Carapace, then Adrien stopped the live stream and embraced the turtle-themed superhero.
„Thank you so much, Carapace," Thanked the blonde digging his head near his friend's neck, making the hero lose a few tears, then close his eyes to stop them and wrapped his own arms around his best friend.
„I'm here for you, man. I'm not leaving you alone," Promised the green-dressed superhero.
Ladybug arrived along with Rena Rouge and Viperion on the bridge, that stood in front of the Eiffel tower and the trio exchanged looks.
„Alright guys, we're three against one. Take the other side of the Eiffel Tower and I come up from this side," Ordered Ladybug making the duo nod.
„You sure you're fine with the yo-yo only?" Asked Viperion making Ladybug nod.
„I may have a lucky charm, that could help me," Announced Ladybug activating her lucky charm to see a trumpet show up making Ladybug confused. „Interesting….I hope Hawk Moth likes music,"
„We'll see about that," Said Viperion, then Ladybug placed the trumpet over her back and used her yo-yo to get on the tower and climbed it up.
At the tower Hawk Moth recognized Ladybug's yo-yo then glimpsed down to see her climbing it up, making him rib his hands together and take out his sword.
„Looks like Ladybug is going to visit us," Commented Hawk Moth looking at Gerda, which looked down to see nothing but the level under them.
„I don't see her anywhere," Commented Gerda, afterward the two heard a door being shut up, followed by a tired voice.
„I'm finally here!" Complained Rollan falling down on the ground exhausted from the climbing. „Oh my god!…..So many…...stairs,"
„Rollan, why did you come?" Asked Gerda watching Rollan got up and look for Gerda, then got surprised to see her attached above the last floor and Rollan looked around for a way to get up.
„Uh there isn't another way to get up there, no?" Asked Rollan, then he saw Hawk Moth jump on top of the curved fence of the last level to look down at the Spaniard.
„Ah at last you showed up, my dear boy," Spoke Hawk Moth watching Rollan hold up the police stick on his hand making the supervillain laugh and jump down in front of the Spaniard to show him the sword. „Are you sure, you're going to make it with this silly police staff?" Asked Hawk Moth walking against Rollan, which walked back keeping a straight face.
„I can try," Commented Rollan, then Hawk Moth used his sword to fence Rollan with the baton, which the boy couldn't use well against the sword and Hawk Moth used his foot to kick Rollan away from him making Gerda shriek.
„Stop that!" Complained Gerda, then Ladybug showed up landing on top of the fence to look down at Hawk Moth.
„There you are!" Announced Ladybug, then she noticed Rollan sitting on the ground trying to get up by holding himself on the fence. „He got kidnapped as well?" Asked Ladybug making Gerda shake her head.
Rollan ran against Hawk Moth, then got blocked with Hawk Moth's sword, which tried to hold him back and Ladybug looked at Gerda quick, then approached her to tie her off.
„Help Rollan out, he's all alone," Warned Gerda, then Ladybug looked down to see Rollan punch away with the stick the sword of Hawk Moth. Rollan moved his stick up in the air to clash it on Hawk Moth's sword, which got pulled up and Hawk Moth moved his sword aside watching it pass on Rollan's arm making him a small cut on his arm making him yelp.
„Rollan!" Cried Gerda, then Ladybug looked down to see Rollan cover his arm, which had gotten a bit of blood from the cut.
Ladybug threw her yo-yo at Hawk Moth to prevent him from move and Rollan moved away from the villain watching him try to free himself.
„Get down Rollan. You're just going to get yourself more hurt," Warned Gerda watching Ladybug moving back on the fence, afterward she got stuck with her feet in the hole of the fence and fell down on her back leaving the yo-yo loose for a moment and Hawk Moth managed to free himself.
„Finally!" Commented Hawk Moth looking up at Ladybug which tried to take out her feet from the hole. Hawk Moth smirked and jumped up at the fence to approach Ladybug, which saw the villain coming and held her fists up to warn the villain to not come closer. Gerda tried to move her arms trying to extend her rope and watched Rollan appear around the level, then grabbed himself on the fence and tried to climb it up, making Gerda bite her lips seeing his injured arm, making him flinch his teeth.
„We need help!" Shouted Gerda loud making Viperion recognize her voice, which was in the middle of the tower, and looked down at Rena Rouge which was using the flute as a cellphone, and looking up at the edge of the tower. Viperion noticed from another side of the Eiffel tower two raven-haired teens ran across the tower, followed by two police agents and he squinted his eyes to recognize Gerda's brother carrying a boat paddle on his hands making him ponder about their plan.
„I better go up by myself. They won't get so fast up here," Commented Viperion moving up on the Eiffel tower.
Ladybug kicked Hawk Moth on his face, which then grabbed it to avoid her moving it and Ladybug used her fist to punch him away.
„That's an invasion of privacy!" Shouted Ladybug. „Ever heard of that?"
Rollan made it to the curved edge of the fence and tried to get up on it, then noticed Gerda looking at him anxious from seeing him hurt and he lied on his belly over the fence.
„Be careful," Whispered Gerda, then under on the level appeared Viperion, which used his lyre to throw it against Hawk Moth shrieking him as it hit his head, then he looked down in annoyment to see the snake-themed superhero.
„Where's your cat?" Questioned Hawk Moth. „Did you two have a fight?" Asked the supervillain looking at Ladybug, which managed to get her feet out and used the trumpet to aim Hawk Moth on the legs, which dodged by jumping up in the air.
„He will be here, don't worry Hawk Moth," Promised Ladybug with a smirk and noticed Hawk Moth see Rollan approach Gerda to the small platform she's sitting on, then moved his sword and threw it against the two making Ladybug scream and Viperion used his second chance to go back in time.
Ladybug kicked Hawk Moth on his face, which then grabbed it to avoid her moving it and Ladybug used her fist to punch him away.
„That's an invasion of privacy!" Shouted Ladybug. „Ever heard of that?"
„Ladybug! Protect Gerda!" Ordered Viperion. „I reversed back time!"
„Where's your cat?" Questioned Hawk Moth. „Did you two have a fight?" Asked the supervillain looking at Ladybug, which managed to get her feet out and used the trumpet to aim Hawk Moth on the legs, which dodged by jumping up in the air. Viperion threw his lyre against Hawk Moth as he had jumped watching it hit his leg, then Ladybug used the trumpet to push Hawk Moth down at the level, where Viperion stood. Ladybug got down and blocked along with Viperion the way to the supervillain, then Viperion glimpsed up to see Rollan approach Gerda to help her.
„Don't worry, I got this," Announced Rollan trying to tie Gerda off the bar, then Rollan yelped placing his hand over his injury.
„You're losing blood, Rollan. Get out of here," Warned Gerda eyeing him sadly, then he groaned holding back his pain.
„I'm not leaving you alone here," Commented Rollan. „We're partners, I owe you this,"
„Hopla!" Commented Viperion as Hawk Moth had shoved his sword throughout the lyre and Ladybug used the trumpet to hit Hawk Moth on his head. Hawk Moth kicked Viperion between his legs, making him cry and lose the grip on the weapon and fall down on the middle of the stairs. Ladybug frowned, then placed the trumpet on her mouth to blow an irritating noise into the ear of Hawk Moth making him angry and punch the trumpet against her making her fall down on her butt.
„Oh oh," Commented Rollan, then he got up shrieking Gerda to see Rollan jump down to land on the shoulders of the villain and he wrapped his hands around the villain to prevent him to look around.
„Rollan, no!" Commented Gerda loud, then Ladybug watched Hawk Moth push Rollan against the iron of the tower making him yelp. „Stop it!" Ordered Gerda watching Hawk Moth stay away looking at Rollan, which still was clammed around him, but a little weaker.
„Let my friend go!" Ordered Ladybug returning with the trumpet and Hawk Moth turned his back around to watch Ladybug wide her eyes to accidentally hit Rollan on his head.
„Oy!" Complained Rollan letting himself fall down on the ground, then Ladybug stood above him to push Hawk Moth away, which took out his sword to fence against Ladybug, which tried to make use of the trumpet, which wasn't quite helpful.
„Get out of here!" Ordered Ladybug watching Rollan go around the place, then she threw herself against the fence to see Hawk Moth move his sword beside her getting the sword go through the hole and Ladybug grabbed his arm to hold it against it, making Hawk Moth growl.
Rollan took the opportunity again to climb up the fence while watching Ladybug taking care of the villain and at the edge, Rollan tried carefully to pass over the curve and kneed over it to look down at Ladybug letting Hawk Moth go, which took his arm back and was attacked by Viperion's fist watching him drop the sword. Viperion got down to catch the sword, but unluckily Hawk Moth was able to call up on his staff, which automatically jumped back on his hand surprising the boy.
Rollan crawled over the fence to get around to find Gerda again, then he tried to free her by using one arm.
„Rollan, go down," Begged Gerda watching Rollan look around her rope for a way out, then looked at the girl. „Please, don't give up your life like that,"
„We're almost there, just give me a minute or two," Asked Rollan watching Gerda shake her head and lean her forehead on his. „I'm not leaving you here alone,"
Viperion got thrown against the exit of the tower, landing again on the stairs and Ladybug growled at Hawk Moth's deed.
„You're not going away with this, Gabriel!" Hissed Ladybug making Hawk Moth wide his eyes.
„What did you call me?" Asked Hawk Moth in shock making Ladybug frown.
„I know you're behind all this. We've found under the mansion your deceased wife and the number of butterflies,"
„That's why I need the miraculouses!" Shouted Hawk Moth throwing the sword against Ladybug, which used her yo-yo to block the sword, which flew across the place of the Eiffel Tower.
Viperion watched the sword fall down of the Eiffel Tower, then before he departed he heard a female voice and looked back to see Alfida come along with Kai carrying their boat paddle then pass by Viperion.
„Move your butt, Green Lamp!" Commented Alfida making Viperion furrow his eyebrows, then follow the two up to see them stop to see Hawk Moth along with Ladybug stay there and watch the two teens appear.
„Get down!" Ordered Ladybug watching Viperion grab both teens on the shoulder, then Alfida moved her second hand up at the superhero.
„Hey! I'm a former pirate. I know how to deal with villains," Warned Alfida, then watched Hawk Moth pack Ladybug tight putting one of his hands on Ladybug's earring.
„No!" Shouted Viperion push Kai away to race towards Hawk Moth, which managed to remove one earring of the superheroine and Viperion pushed the villain against the fence, then got pushed down on the ground as Hawk Moth made the snake-themed superhero trip on the feet to fall down and immediately ran at Ladybug to prevent her to take back the miraculous and pushed her against the ground to take the opportunity to take her other earring away.
„Alfida! Don't let her take the earrings!" Ordered Gerda, then Alfida nodded and used her paddle to smack it on Hawk Moth's hands making him yell and drop the second earring, seeing Ladybug transform back into Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
Gerda gasped as she recognized her classmate, while Viperion down on the level got surprised as well to see Marinette, his former girlfriend be the one superheroine, that had been protecting his city the entire time. Viperion took away from Kai's hand the paddle to go at Hawk Moth which ran away stopping on one edge, while Viperion went backward to block Hawk Moth from leaving. Hawk Moth recalled his staff back, then prepared himself to defend himself again.
„You're alright?" Asked Tikki looking at Marinette, which nodded.
„Yeah, I need to transform back,"
„And I need to get charged," Warned Tikki making Marinette bite her lips.
„Oh and where do we get you something to eat?" Asked Marinette making Tikki shrug her shoulders.
„Marinette, just go on, I'll be okay," Warned Viperion making Marinette swallow hard and look at Alfida and Kai, which stood there with their paddle.
„Get going, this is a damn long way," Warned Alfida, then Marinette ran downstairs and the Norwegian girl looked at Viperion and Hawk Moth both try to get away from each other but kept appearing on the same side surprising each other.
„I did it!" Shouted Rollan raising his arms up, then yelled as he moved his injured arm calling Hawk Moth's attention. Viperion took the opportunity to run against the distracted villain to grab him on the hands to try to take away his sword.
„Hey! Catch this!" Ordered Kai shoving the boat paddle across the floor, then Viperion hit with his foot hard on the end of the paddle to smack its end on Hawk Moth's chin and Viperion pushed Hawk Moth against the fence and grabbed the object.
„That was for revealing Ladybug's identity!" Shouted Viperion approaching Hawk Moth, which had gotten up to see Viperion swing his paddle back and from seeing behind the superhero Rollan stand on the knees above the fence helping Gerda take the rope away Hawk Moth threw his staff against the duo making Viperion flinch his teeth along with Alfida and Kai.
„Gerda!" Shouted Kai in shock catching the attention of his sister and Rollan, which saw it and pushed her away, making her fall back on the place, she sat before. At the same moment Alfida threw her paddle towards the Spaniard with the hope it would deflect the attack, but much to her dismay Hawk Moth noticed Alfida's plan and recalled his weapon back to see Gerda gasp to see Rollan unsure about the flying boat paddle and he got hit by it and he lost his balance, then flew towards the ground.
„No!" Shouted Gerda loudly echoing around the champs de mars calling half of the crowds' attention to see the Spaniard fall. Gerda suddenly felt a warm feeling shot across her entire body, then she saw how quickly from her feet up to her head she suddenly disappeared in orange-red glitter-like dust and she observed herself transform and have over her body a red-golden suit, covered with scales across herself. Gerda watched how her hands were covered by the suit's material as well and her fingers had dragon-like claws lookout and she looked at her back to see behind her back a pair of wings growing out of it as well. Gerda realized, what just happened to her and threw herself off the Eiffel tower to descent like a rocket behind her boyfriend, which was yelling during the fall and she grabbed him with both her hands tight, watching him roll his eyes up at her and get surprised at seeing the mysterious person above him extend her large wings and before arriving the ground a few feet before she used her wings to flutter up passing above the crowd, which was frightened by what had almost happened to Rollan. Gerda felt a little insecure with her flying and noticed Rollan almost slipping from her hands, then she threw him up in the air making him cry, while she flinched with her teeth as she threw him too far and she stopped to watch him fly a few meters further and she headed against the boy to catch him with her arms heading down at the Seine.
„I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Commented Gerda looking at Rollan, which was looking at the girl, and widened his eyes bright as he recognized his girlfriend.
„Gerda? You're….that's you?" Asked the Spaniard making Gerda nod, then she cried confusing Rollan, which looked aside to see the bridge in front of them. „Ahhh!" Cried Rollan, which was thrown up in the air by the girlfriend and continued crying, then watched Gerda show up quickly from under the bridge to move up to the air to catch the boy.
„I'm so sorry! I…..I think those are my magic powers," Commented Gerda. „You know, my parents were magicians,"
"Say what?" Questioned Rollan watching Gerda nodding. „You look more like a superheroine," Questioned Rollan making Gerda shrug her shoulders, then she gasped as she remembered the fight with Hawk Moth.
„We have to go back to the tower," Mentioned Gerda, then soared above the road heading to the champs de Mars.
„What shall we do about Ladybug?" Asked Rollan, then near the crossroad at the Eiffel Tower Gerda dropped Rollan on the ground and looked around Rollan, then ripped off Rollan a piece of his shirt shrieking him. „What are you doing?" Questioned Rollan watching Gerda put the cloth around his arm.
„Stay here, I will go up there," Warned Gerda watching Rollan check his arm.
„Are you sure I shouldn't come along?" Asked Rollan, then Gerda pressed her lips on her boyfriend's making him wide his eyes in surprise.
„You've done the best, Rollan. You helped me out and eventually, you even were responsible for my powers to be awakened. Now it's up to me to take care of the others," Stated Gerda watching the boy nod, then she tickled him under his chin making him chuckle and she took off heading to the Eiffel Tower.
During the taking off Gerda spotted on the ground a portal open up to have Cat Noir run out along with Ryuko, then Gerda saw them and flew down at the two and whistled to call their attention.
„Guys! Take my hand, I will bring you up!" Warned Gerda seeing Cat Noir and Ryuko exchange looks, then Cat Noir extended his staff and grabbed Ryuko by her arms to allow Gerda being able to carry the two up at the Eiffel Tower to see Viperion along with Alfida using their paddle to fence with the supervillain, while Kai stood on the corner watching them fight.
„Drop us!" Ordered Cat Noir watching Gerda let the staff go to see both drop at the tower, then Ryuko turned into the wind and blew all the persons on the top level down at the second level, where Marinette had just transformed in the right moment into Ladybug to see the wind disappear and Ryuko reappear along with Alfida, Kai, Hawk Moth and Viperion sitting on the ground, confused about what happened.
Gerda reached the second level with help of Cat Noir, then he got thrown in and Gerda landed afterward to see Cat Noir ran towards Hawk Moth, which called his sword back to prepare himself to fight against the cat-themed superhero.
„How could you do such a thing!" Shouted Cat Noir hitting the sword down, then Viperion threw his lyre to hit Hawk Moth on his hand to prevent him to grab it immediately. Ladybug used her yo-yo to lock around them the possible exits through the Eiffel Tower and watched Cat Noir along with Ryuko approach the supervillain, which crawled back on his feet and hands, then Kai joined along with Alfida and Viperion. Cat Noir took out his staff as he heard it ringing then attended it.

„Mayura!" Shouted Ladybug, then looked at Gerda, which stood behind Viperion looking confused at the main leader. Cat Noir understood, what was up, then yelled at the phone.
„Look for Mayura. She must have been watching us!" Warned Cat Noir, then Ladybug looked at Gerda, which took off in the air, then tried to put herself through the thread of Ladybug and went down.
„Viperion, Ryuko, please hold Hawk Moth by his hands, if no one minds, I'd like to be the one removing the miraculous," Stated Cat Noir, then looked at Ladybug, which nodded.
„I'm kinda occupied, but go along. You're just as important to me, than I may have told you," Commented Ladybug making Cat Noir smile a little, then open the zipper of his suit to take out a smartphone and unlock it to open up a live stream on Adrien Agreste's account.
„Meow kittens and tomcats. As you see I'm using your fur-vorites boy's account for a live stream, hein? I hope the entire Paris is seeing this in a way and I sure hope you will want to share this further with anyone else, cause right now I'm gonna reveal our butterfly man's face. Get ready for it," Cat Noir spoke.
Down at the ground, Rena Rouge and Carapace got out of the crowd to look around for a specific hideout Mayura could be able to find and Rena Rouge recognized Rollan, which stood on the sidewalk looking at the Eiffel tower. Rena Rouge approached Rollan, then grabbed him on the shoulder.
„Rollan we need your eyes. We have to look out for a supervillain in a blue dress and a light-blue skin," Warned Rena Rouge."
„The Snow Queen?" Asked Rollan curious making the fox-themed heroine shake her head.
„Nope, Mayura," Corrected Rena Rouge. „We won't miss her, there's no one else in a blue color around our city,"
„Okay and where exactly could she be?" Asked Rollan making Rena shrug her shoulders.
„That's the issue, we have to look for our own. It has to be a place near the Eiffel Tower," Stated the girl making Rollan nod, then he pondered about it, where he could find the villain, then watched Gerda appear and land beside him.
„We have to look for someone named Mayura. She must be hiding somewhere," Warned Gerda making Rollan nod.
„Rena Rouge just told me that," Noticed Rollan making Gerda nod and pick up Rollan from under his arms.
„Good, going together is better in case something happens, where did the others go?" Questioned Gerda watching Rollan move his foot at the port, where Rena Rouge just disappeared along with Carapace, which went under the bridge while his girlfriend went further.
„We could take the Trocadero?" Suggested Rollan making Gerda nod, which flew towards that place.
Three-quarters of the crowd had their smartphones on their hands to watch the live stream of Adrien Agreste, which showed Hawk Moth's face on it, and from the middle of the crowd came out Nadja Charmack along with a cameraman, which had accompanied a teen out of the crowd and adjusted his camera at the kid's camera while Manon's mother got beside the kid waiting for him to be ready. A few meters aside on the road showed up a car to show the young journalist, that is idolized by Rena Rouge get out along with a man near her age ran to the trunk of the car to take out a drone to place it on the ground and along with the woman the two adjusted the smartphone on it.
Up at the tower, the heroes and the two civilians stood around Hawk Moth blocking his way of escape while Cat Noir continued to have his camera focused on the villain's face.
„Alright Paris, a few of us had our theories, others had guessed his identity all along, others maybe not, some may even be surprised. This we will all figure out in three…..two…..one….one….."
Ladybug furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, wondering why Cat Noir was hesistating and whispered his name making Cat Noir shake his head.
„I'm sorry," Apologized Cat Noir. „I…..I just can't believe it we made it," Said Cat Noir placing his hand on Hawk Moth's miraculous and took it down watching Hawk Moth destransform back into Gabriel Agreste making him drop his chin seeing, that Hawk Moth had been his father all along.
„Woah!" Commented Viperion suprised and down at the tower the heroes could hear the crowd gasp, followed by people begin to boo at the supervillain, which moved his head down in shame, then Cat Noir formed both his hands into a fist and got down on his knees to look at his father.
„Your son…...if he finds out about this, I'm sure he's going to be so ashamed of knowing a supposed idol to him turned out to be such a terrible human being...Just at what cost," Asked Cat Noir almost spitting at the man, which frowned hurt from the superhero's words.
„The reason I wanted the miraculous was to bring back my wife to life, which…...I have not ever told my son about, because…...I didn't want to hurt him,"
„But you thought lying for about four years and hidding all this from him would be better? Don't you think he would be at one point old enough to understand life isn't always easy?" Asked the blonde hero watching the fashion designer keep his head down in shame and Cat Noir placed his hand under chin pulling it up to have eyecontact. „One more question…...where's Mayura?" Asked the black-dressed superhero, then he rolled his eyes at the Trocadero to see a car drove off hastily across the street, which got followed by Gerda, that had just gotten out of the water fontain to follow the vehicle and broke in the air as she noticed the vehicle at the end of the road crash against the vehicle of the journalist, which got shocked to see the accident along with the husband.
„She's the one in the car, right?" Asked Ryuko making the fashion designer nod and Ladybug removed her yo-yo, then picked up the trumpet she had summoned before and watched Ryuko pack along with Viperion Gabriel to lead him to the stairs, then got followed by the rest and Cat Noir walked to Ladybug to look at the trumpet.
„What's with that? The miraculous object?" Asked the blonde making the girl nod. „Was it used already?"
„No," Answered Ladybug watching Mayura ran out of the car and escape from them and the journalist watched Mayura race at the port without doing anything giving Ladybug an idea, which used the trumpet to play a loud tune to earn the journalist's attention. The journalist took from the husband's pants out a smartphone to record the escaping villain, which got hit by a large force field and Rena Rouge appeared to catch Mayura followed by Carapace showing up to remove the miraculous away from the villain to see the person transform back into Nathalie Sancoeur.
„Amazing catch," Complimented Cat Noir doing a Italian kiss making Ladybug chuckle and look at Cat Noir, which smiled at her. The superheroine laughed and embraced her partner tightly.
„We made it! We defeated Hawk Moth! After all this time, it worked!"
„I know," Commented Cat Noir seeing the superheroine excited, then she moved her eyes from the boy at the exit and both went to the staircase to go down to accompany the others until they reached the ground, where the citizens began to applaud at the superheroes' work and two guards approached Viperion and Ryuko to have them hand Gabriel out at them.
„Gabriel Agreste. You're under arrest for Terrorism, Brainwashing, Manipulation, Attempted mass destruction, attempted mass murder, black mailing and kidnapping," Announced the police agent putting behind Gabriel handcuffs. „There's sure more than one thing missing on this list, am I right?" Asked the police agent making Gabriel sight and look at the other side behind the crowd to see Nathalie being taken by the superheroes as well. Gabriel sank his head, then watched four agents come from the tower to go around Gabriel and the guards to be able to go throught the crowd without any problem, only receiving bad comments from the citizens after finding out, who Hawk Moth had been all over this time.
Other citizens ran at Ladybug and Cat Noir to question them, while others wanted to question Viperion and Ryuko, which all tried to calm down the crowd and try to answer the questions.
At the other side Rena, Carapace, Rollan and Gerda awaited for the next three agents to come along to take Nathalie, then Rena Rouge shove the woman towards the agents, which took her.
„Gabriel's assistant and eventual henchwoman. She's also the one, who had planned to use the peacock miraculous in order to help Hawk Moth out," Stated the fox-themed heroine making the police nod and guide Nathalie away. Carapace and Rena Rouge high fived each other, then embraced each other tighly from having successed at the mission causing Gerda to smile.
„Wow, this would probably have felt amazing if I still would have the powers of Fire King," Stated Rollan looking at Gerda, which smiled and placed her arm around Rollan's neck.
„You were good as well. I don't think anyone else would be as brave as you to just get into this trouble without any super powers," Mentioned Gerda making Rollan smile.
„You know I have this one idol, who several ages ago defeated the Snow Queen all on her own without any powers or weapons," Commented Rollan making Gerda chuckle.
„Well I had my father's mirror, Technically I had something, that had helped me out in a way,"
„Perhaps, but still no one else would have been brave enough to do what you did. At least you're the only girl I know that could do that," Complimented Rollan leaning his nose on hers. „mi dragóna linda," Commented the Spaniard making Gerda giggle and peck him on the cupid's boy, then he placed his arms around above her closed wings to place his lips on Gerda's to share a long, passionate kiss and chuckled slightly through the necking as he felt Gerda shove her hand up on his arm, followed by the wings raising up out of joy.
