Chapter 7

A long and lonely journey.

Toga flew for three hours then he had to land. After Toga landed he knew that. He isn't as young ans as strong as he used to be. When he was younger he could fly or be transform for hours. Speaking of age Toga is 997 years old. Now grounded Toga started walking. Toga plans on cutting through the meddle of the country. So that he doesn't tun into Sesshomaru nor Kirinmaru. Seven years have passed and Toga has made it to Southern lands. Between the weather , fighting demons, recording from injuries, and helping humans.

Has slowed Toga down but he is. Almost to the village that Izayoi is living at. Toga walked in the village and up to a woman.

"Can you tell me where I can find Izayoi and her child?" asked Toga

"Lady Izayoi is dead we just buried her. And the men chased off her half breed child." replied the woman

"How did she die? And can you take me to her grave?" asked Toga

"She became very ill and despite best efforts to help her. Izayoi succumbed to her illness. And yes I can take you to her grave." informed the woman

The woman took Toga away from the village. Soon they are by a lake and the woman stopped by a tree. Toga walked up to the tree and saw stones sitting on top of fresh dirt. He knelt down and sighed sadly.

"Oh Izayoi I am sorry that I didn't get to you soon." chocked Toga

He stayed at Izayoi's grave for a couple of hours. Then he stood and walked back to the village. Toga found a group of men and walked up to them.

"Where is the child that was with Izayoi?" asked Toga

"Hopefully he's long gone by now." replied the men

"In which direction did you chase him in?"asked Toga loosing his cool

"We chased him in the direction." replied the men pointing.

Toga ran off in the direction that the men pointed in. Soon he's in the forest looking all around.

"Inuyasha where are you?! It is I you Father! I know that your Mother thought that I'm dead. But I'm not and I can help you!" yelled Toga

The dog demon looked around and yelled for Inuyasha. Until it was dark and he made camp for the night. Toga sighed and decided to search for Inuyasha. Because Togas knows that the hanyou is only 8 years old. And since he is a half demon living on his own will be difficult. 142 years have passed and Toga is 1139 years old and is on the move. According to the wolves Inuyasha is a village in the eastern lands. And he has fallen in love with a priestess. Luckily for Toga is old rival Kirinmaru had fallen into a deep sleep. After he found out that Toga has "died." But Toga isn't dead and off and on for the passed 142 years. Toga has searched for Inuyasha.

But illness, fighting demons, recovering from injuries, and weather have slowed Toga down. That and it seemed that Inuyasha knew how to hide very well. Just then Toga caught a whiff of a half demon. He stopped dead in his tracks and followed the scent. The dog demon followed the scent to a large tree. Once in front of the tree he saw. A young half demon with silver white hair. The young half demon is also wearing the robe of the fire of the fire rat. Toga can see that the young demon is pinned to the tree by an arrow. He grabbed the arrow but it shocked him. Then he stopped back and looked at the young half demon again.

There is no doubt in his mind that this half demon is Inuyasha. Toga had no choice but to leave his son. Pinned to this large tree. So he sighed and decided to go back to the southern lands. And live not far from Izayoi's grave. 53 years old have passed and Toga 1192 years old and is on the move again. Toga hadn't heard much about Inuyasha. Until two years ago. He had heard that a half demon. Is traveling around with a group of friends. They are collecting the shards of the shikon jewel. And are about to take on the evil half demon Naraku. Toga has also been keeping tabs on his other son Sesshomaru.

He is glad that Sesshomaru got Tenseiga. And that he has leaned compassion and empathy towards humans. Toga is also glad that Inuyasha has and has mastered Tessaiga. Not far away from where Toga is. Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Sesshomaru are getting ready to fight Naraku. The evil demon smirked and put up his barrier. Then he sent a bunch of his saimyosho and demons at the group. The Tessaiga changed and now looks like it has a diamond coating. Inuyasha swung his sword and yelled "Adamant Barrage!" The adamant barrage broke through the barrier. So Inuyasha and Sesshomaru rushed toward Naraku. Naraku sent energy blasts and demons at them.

As Inuysha fought he looked behind him to check on Kagome. He can see several demon are headed toward Kagome. She went to grab an arrow to fire it. But the demons are closing in fast. Sango and Miroku aren't near Kagome. So Inuyasha went to go help her. But someone or something got to Kagome first. Because she isn't where she was. Five feet away from where she was. Is a tall male demon with long white hair which is in a high tail. He is wearing blue and white clothing, black and grey armor, he has a burn scar on the left side of his face, one jagged blue stripe on each cheek, gold eyes, and had a sword on his back. And his arms is Kagome.

"Who the hell are you? " asked Inuyasha

Sesshomaru took a look and saw the male demon. His eyes went wide and asked "Father but how can this be?" In the male demon's arms Kagome looked up at him. He looked down at her and she. Can see the same kindness in his eyes. As she sees in Inuyasha's eyes. The male demon put Kagome down. Naraku sent more demons at the group. Then he sent more energy beams at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. They turned their attention back to Naraku. Sesshomaru swung Bakusaiga destroying all the demons in his way. Just then Naraku formed at huge ball of red energy.

"Kagome get ready with a sacred arrow!" yelled Inuyasha

The male demon unsheathed his sword. And killed all of the demon in Kagome's way. Naraku sent the ball of energy at the group. At the same time Kagome fired her arrow. Inuyasha swung Tessaiga and yelled "Backlash Wave!" Sesshomaru swung Bakusaiga also. All three attacks combined and killed Naraku. When the dust cleared all that his left of Naraku is his head. His head went over to the bone eaters well. Kagome fired another arrow and it hit the sacred jewel. Naraku's head and the jewel disappeared. Sesshomaru sheathed his sword. He walked over to the tall male demon.

"Father is that you?" asked Sesshomaru

"That can't be Father Sesshomaru. My Mother said that he died." boomed Inuyasha

"Sesshomaru, Inuyasha it is I your Father. I survived the burning castle. And my injuries from Ryukotsusei ." informed Toga

"Since you survived why didn't you come find Mother and I?" asked Inuyasha

"I did go looking for you and your Mother. But I can't transform anymore. Weather, fighting demons, and recovering from those fights slowed me down. By the time I got to the village that she was living in. She had died and the villagers chased you away. I tried looking for you. But you obviously learned how to hide very well." replied Toga

"Well I kind a had to both humans and demons had it out for me." stated Inuyasha

"And I am sorry that you've had such a hard life my son." sighed Toga lowering his head

Just then Miroku and Sango walked up to the rest of the group. Toga greeted them and introduced himself. Miroku and Sango were in awe of the dog demon. They always wondered what Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's father looked like now they know.
