36 Months later...

„Good afternoon, TV1 with the big news coming from the court of justice in Strassbourg. Two and a half years have passed and we finally have a decent answer about what will happen to Gabriel Agreste, the man who had been hiding behind the mask of Hawk Moth and Shadow Moth for the last few years. A brief review of what happened during the last two years before today. Gabriel had been reported for several different crimes he had committed during his time as Hawk Moth by the Parisian government, the national government, additionally with the time passing by more and more reports by French citizens and several celebs have been added to it as well making the fashion designer make a record as the citizen with the most criminal reports made in one year. After the first three sessions, Gabriel managed to get a chance with the help of his advocate to make it to Strassbourg for another court session in the hope to have a shorter sentence, but all judges have been really tough on him just as the ones in Paris. What was the result you must want to know now? 45 years was the final decision of the judges. 35 years less than his cumplice Miss Sancouer had, which had accepted her sentence in the last court in Paris. This additional way didn't seem to be worth the effort for Monsieur Agreste to go this farther," Spoke Nadja Charmack on TV and in front of her a video was illustrated showing Gabriel being lead out of the building through the crowd, which were separated away by a fence and a few guards standing in front to prevent anything to happen to the culprit.

„Gabriel seems very unpleased with the results, but he could have known it better. He had the lowest chances since Charles Chateaux two years after the death penalty was canceled from the code pénal. Clara, have you got any news about the superheroes or what happened to the remaining Agreste's?"

„After the discovery of Emilie Agreste's body under the house she has been sent to a clinic and is at the moment in a comatose state and reliable on many devices. Adrien Agreste, which is at the moment 17 is living from now on with the bodyguard of his family in a different apartment out of Paris, but still attending the same school. A few had the theory, that it might have been Lady Frost due to some sources, that had witnessed the final showdown...The only decent picture taken by a citizen from the inside of his apartment was this one, which shortly had witnessed the fall of Fire King's civilian self and recorded this picture as he was caught" Explained the woman and on the screen appeared an image of a superheroine with her hands wrapped around Rollan carrying above the champs de mars with her wings moving not able to help her. Clara Contard on TV had shown up again, holding her hand on her ear listening to instructions she had been receiving at the moment, then she nodded and looked up at the camera. „I just received a short notification, that the president of the French republic announced a ceremony to hand out the superheroes the medal of honor in two weeks. Eventually, if we get the chance to we may find out, what will be up next…."

Marinette accidentally closed the tab of her computer, then frowned looking at her keyboard.

„It's funny, I have no idea, which key I have pressed while spelling a sentence and I closed my tabs again. I should really search for the guidance to see what key is the one I might have tapped on it," Mentioned Marinette, then pressed down on the date to see the time and chuckled. „It's the 5th May of 2022. It was fun back in 2005, where you could spell the dates like this. 5Th 05 and 2005 well you have the zero and the five at the end and the first two you can also have it as zero, five. Then in the early morning, you'd get at five in the morning, if you wait five minutes later the same number and you get 5 times the zero, five," Marinette told her kwami, whcich just got confused.

„What?" Questioned Tikki making Marinette chuckle, then typed on the search bar the 05 five times on it.

„Here you have the fifth day of the month, the fifth month, the last two numbers of the year, which end with the zero and the five, the hour clock has before the 5 a zero and the minutes are the same,"
„Oh that's what you meant," Commented Tikki making Marinette nod

„Exactly!" Commented Marinette, then heard someone knock on the door behind her and she looked back to see her mother.

„Marinette, are you coming for breakfast?" Asked Sabine looking into the bedroom to see her daughter get up

„I'm coming. I will just pack up the utensils I need for the sewing," Mentioned Marinette making her mother nod.
„What are you up to at the shop?" Questioned Sabine. „Are you going to sew a purse?"

„It's a secret mom, you'll see it in a few months on TV. It's so big, that we all don't even know it, but it's very challenging work. I can't wait to see the final product,"

„That sounds really astonishing, I won't have a chance to glimpse in, won't I?" Questioned Sabine making Marinette shrug her shoulders.

„I could ask Freya, but I'm not sure if she's going to allow it. It's a big secret to everyone," Explained Marinette making the mother nod.

„Sure, I understand it," Spoke Sabine walking to the kitchen to meet up on the table with the daughter, which picked up her cornflakes box to add cereals into a bowl. Marinette's smartphone rang, then she picked it up to attend it.

„Hey Alya,"

„Hey girl, coming Friday Nino will interview all the members of the Kitty Section. You as their clothing designer were invited as well to attend the interview. Have you got the time?"

„I'm not sure if I can make it. What time will be the interview?"

„At 7 am,"

„I can't promise it to be there in time. I got a lot of work to do at the atelier. I might have to skip it this time. You know that other interview was the only one I attended because it was a request by the president, where they needed Ladybug and the citizens needed to hear about us,"

„You're correct, Marinette….Have you heard about the others anything?

„Uh….who exactly?"

„You know Lady Frost, Ryuko, Rollan, and so on,"

„I have for the moment retrieved back all the miraculouses, including the ones from Lady Frost and Fire King, which were taken by Su-Han and the monk. According to them, they have brought it back to Norway to put the powers back into the wishing stone and everything is back as it should be. These sort of spirits have returned as well into the stone and Rollan knows this as well. He had been questioning my Ladybug side a lot about it and I had to convince Su-Han to allow Rollan to at least see Coal one time again and tell goodbye,"

„Man the day I will have to tell Trixx goodbye will be just as painful as Rollan the more I think about,"

„I believe after what happened with Rollan in the past I assume his was worse, but I understand you,"

„Cool," Commented Alya. „Look…...I hope you've got time for it, what about this weekend we two go together to the cinema? Just you and me? Nino's at the work and we could really use a good distraction. We haven't been together for almost a year,"

„You're right Alya, I know. There has been quite a lot going on and I haven't managed to organize myself. I would be really happy to clear my mind a little,"

„Good, we both need that. You with your course work and I with the university. We gotta appreciate this bit of free time we have, mostly now after our defeat of Hawk Moth," Stated Alya making Marinette nod.

„Sure, if you want you can pick the movie or we decide it together there,"

„I think the later one would be great," Commented Alya.

„Good, see you then," Responded Marinette turning her phone off, then watched her mother turn on the TV to show the international news, where they had shown a scene of a large ruine of an ice palace, then got curious at the headline down on the TV screen.

„The old castle of the Snow Queen?" Sabine read curious, then Marinette got up from her seat to look at the news to see a blonde woman speaking.

„…...here live from the islands far off from the Fjords at the ice castle, which has been theorized to be the Snow Queen's palace and which to everyone sounds like a legend this turns out to be true. Yesterday night two tourists were wandering in the near and out of curiosity got over here to find in there along the castle several people frozen in it. Since yesterday night around 10 am, around 8 humans were freed from ice and brought to the next hospital. We have here two units ready to perform aid at the victims inside here, before getting transported by helicopter. Additionally, the SAR is assisted by the firefighters and a couple of volunteers," The TV switched to a drone, which was recording two staff members trying to break the ice, where they saw inside the shape of a human being. „This is quite a lot of work and this isn't even half of the palace,"

„How many people are there to be saved? Is there a known number?"
„There isn't an official number yet, but it was guessed to be around 50. The most important thing in this mission is to take out all the humans stuck in here and to bring them to the hospital. The four nearest hospitals have gotten themselves ready to receive them. There's a very low survival rate according to the statistics. The last two humans found in the Roldal region back in 2018 had luckily survived and recuperated with the help of medical professionals, then were relocated to Paris to start a new life,"

„Are they any pieces of information about the current ice patients, which are now at the hospital?"

„For now on the only known thing is, that the DNA will be analyzed to figure out with whom they're related and that the related family members will be notified about that person. We're gonna have to see what's coming more up to us with the time…."

„Wow all these persons in there…..must have suffered a lot," Stated Sabine sad making Marinette shrug her shoulders.

„Yeah, I'm not sure if they do feel anything. According to Gerda and Rollan, both didn't even know they were frozen," Mentioned Marinette sitting down on her chair. „Or before that as well,"

„Maybe they can't remember anything or forget what happened with the long time they were locked in…... It's really tragic," Spoke Sabine watching on the TV the images of the rescuers breaking the ice piece by piece.

A few weeks later, Alfida and Kai sat together in a bus together watching together on their smartphone their friend Orm on the other side chatting with them.

„I'm glad to see you've got your own phone," Commented Alfida making Orm chuckle and shake his head

„Actually it belongs to us all trolls. Well the royals ones, including me and the jester," Spoke Orm. „How are you two doing?"

„Great. Today it's now official. We moved out of the orphanage and will live together with a few friends of Gerda," Mentioned Kai. „In this generation, it's also normal to share big apartments with friends or even random strangers. Thank goodness Gerda made sure to keep for us two spots free, so we could go live there. I would feel better if we wouldn't be so many people in one place, but I guess it's better than nothing,"

„Well at least we'll get our own bed," Commented Alfida. „I'm okay living this way. I used to live with my mom among other pirates and well…..in that time you had to show them you're just as tough as them,"

„I would have felt intimidated in that lifestyle,"

„Don't worry kid, you sure in good hands there," Assured the troll making the raven-haired boy nod.

„Yeah you won't need to worry when you lose your soap or anything," Joked Alfida making Orm laugh, and Kai wide his eyes in shock.

„Are you serious?!" Shouted Kai making his girlfriend laugh.

„It's a joke, don't worry and Orm….how are things doing over there?" Questioned the girl. „Anything new?"

„Well as you know since last year, we're all now independent. The only issue is that we are now considered as a…..special location I think, because we trolls are an endangered species, and the humans that came here talk to us want to help as much as possible in avoiding us being targeted by molesters and those sorts of people. We can go anywhere we want if we'd like. People already know about our existence and have begun to normalize our existence here. Lots of people I came across are really curious and ask us about how we are, what we do, what we used to do, and so on. Practically the same thing the Björgmans had planned after finding out about it, but this way is kind of better…..it's sometimes annoying when it keeps happening every ten minutes so. Almost all of us trolls have left the kingdom a few times to see the places. The young Princes were the only ones to never have left this place, but they might come out for a day along with Arrog and Maribel. They're now a little older and wiser…..in a way," Commented Orm, followed by a yell coming from behind, then he looked back to see the trio run out followed by a guard troll coming after them to look around for the cubs, which had hidden under a couch.

„What are you doing, Rocky?" Asked Orm watching the troll look around for the triplets.

„I got ordered my King Arrog to continue the tag game with them. There was something up with the Björgmans, that he had to leave," Responded the troll.

„Oh and by the way, the Björgmans live on the other side of the castle too. They were supposed to stay in the near, but Arrog offered them a room or two. Next year I think it's going to be wild in here, when the daughter of the Björman's is old enough to be able to play with others, which means my little cousins will play with her and…...this is going to be a chaos then," Mentioned Orm placing his hand in front of his forehead. „That's going to be hilarious..."

„Poor you," Commented Alfida making Kai nod.

„Hey at least it's not the troll kindergarten from before our time….which kind of is sad, is now gone," Commented Kai watching Orm move his head up.

„You know there's still a few around and you know, trolls aren't like animals that live to reproduce,"

„Neither do humans…...or some of them of course. I had met in my class many that strictly said, they don't want that,"

„See?" Answered Orm.

„I think many people nowadays see the next step of having a family as another way to bond their love. Like we've heard from Myléne," Mentioned Kai. „You know that girl, that is in my school,"

„I know what you mean," Commented Alfida, then looked out of the window to see Gerda standing in front of the bus stop waving at the duo. „Is it okay if we stop here?" Asked Alfida. „We have to leave and meet up with Gerda,"
„Sure, I will go down and check on Arrog or Maribel. Give Gerda and the rest my best greetings,"

„We will, goodbye Orm,"

„Bye Orm," Added Kai watching Gerda turn off their call and got up to walk to the door waiting for the vehicle to stop, then both got out to get into Gerda's arms.

„Hello sis!" Greeted Kai pecking his sister on the cheek.

„Hey girl, greetings from Orm. We just spoke with him," Mentioned Alfida making Gerda smile.

„Aww thanks," Replied Gerda, then let the duo take down their hands and the trio walked together along the sidewalk. „You two still remember the way, right?"

„Yeah, it's not far from here," Answered Kai making Gerda nod and they moved at the next corner aside into an avenue to see a few buildings side by side. The trio arrived by a door and Gerda shove her electronic key into the hole to open the door and walked up to the first floor to encounter the hall where the kitchen was located and the middle had a table with space for ten people and behind it were three couches with space for three people with a TV in front of it.

„Can't believe we all live under this together," Commented Alfida with a smile. „Where did you get that television?" Questioned the girl looking at Gerda.

„Each of us took 100 Euros from our salary and Wayhem bought it for us since he as a worker at an electronic store has 25% off various things," Explained Gerda making the duo nod.

Kai began to scent a smell coming from the kitchen, then walked towards the counter to look through a square into the kitchen to see Luka along with Rollan look together at a recipe book.

„What's that smell?" Asked Kai watching Luka look back and smile.

„Gratin Dauphinoise," Responded Luka. „I hope no one of you is lactose intolerant,"

„No," Responded Kai watching Rollan adjust the settings on the oven, then looked up at Luka to point down at it.

„I think now it's right," Commented Rollan, then Luka grabbed the book to look at it and nodded.

„Wow if in this household only the men cook, I'm gonna love it," Commented Alfida making Gerda chuckle.

„I think almost all of us can cook, with the exception of Wayhem, which is still learning," Mentioned Luka.

„Where is he?" Questioned Alfida watching Rollan open a drawer to look for the cutlery.

„He's gotta work until 9 I think," Commented Rollan trying to carry along all the cutlery with his two hands, then dropped them all on the ground making Kai flinch his teeth in shock.

„You remind me of one of the pirates back at my ship," Commented Alfida watching Rollan pick them up, followed by Gerda, which helped him picking them all up.

„I help you set the table," Commented Gerda taking the number of forks into her hand making Rollan smile, which followed the girl around the table, which set the forks in their place.

„Oh Gerda before I forgot, there was a mail for you coming straight from Norway. I'm not sure, what it is, but it looked important," Warned Rollan making Gerda nod.

„I'll check it later after dinner, if you don't mind," Noticed Gerda making Rollan nod.

Rose came out of the bathroom newly dressed in a blue overall and a light-pink shirt under it, then saw Kai and Alfida waiting at the counter in front of the kitchen.

„Hey Kai! Hey Alfida!" Greeted Rose approaching the duo to give them a hug. „Welcome to our humble home. Our casa is your casa," Commented Rose making Gerda chuckle.

„You could use some more Spanish lessons than I now," Commented Gerda looking at Rollan, which had shaken his head amused at Rose's comment.

„You still have Spanish?" Questioned Alfida curious making Gerda shake her head.

„No, but I tend to use it once in a while on Rollan, so I won't forget it," Commented Gerda making Alfida nod.

„Great,"

„When will the dinner be ready?" Questioned Rose. „Juleka should be here in a few minutes,"

„She's still going out with the tall girl?" Asked Kai his sister quietly making Gerda nod. „Okay,"
„I remember back in our time this wasn't considered…..common…."

„At the end of the day what matters is, that both love each other and have a respectful and healthy relationship," Mentioned Gerda sitting down on the chair, followed by Kai and vice versa to Gerda came her boyfriend and Alfida.

„Why are you wearing an overall?" Questioned Alfida. „I have never seen you like that?"

„I accidentally made my other clothes wet while showering," Commented Rose a little embarrassed making Alfida chuckle.

„Happens," Commented the former pirate girl making Rose smile, then Luka sat down on the chair hearing an odd noise, then he looked down to see the weasel Luta jump up at the table making Luka chuckle and observe the weasel get down at Alfida's lap to lick her.

„How's the school doing?" Asked Luka. „I've heard you're planning to become an airline pilot in the future," Questioned the older boy looking at Kai's girlfriend.

„It's going fine at the moment, thanks," Answered Alfida. „I'm counting on one of the best supporters," Stated the girl smiling at Kai, which grinned a little embarrassed.

„That's cool. I remember seeing him leave along with Nathaniel art's school before he came to meet you I think. I met Nathaniel at the coffee shop a few minutes afterward," Explained Luka, then while the gratin was in the oven the young adults chatted across the table with each other to get to know about their past days.

Later at night, Gerda stood by the entrance of the bedroom which had at the moment two beds and a wall closet only watching her brother and the girlfriend finishing to unpack their stuff from their bag.

„You don't have to take out everything right now. You have enough time tomorrow and the rest of the days," Suggested Gerda seeing Kai place inside the closet his pairs of pants. „You don't even have a night table or anything else to put the smaller things in it,"

„I will put everything inside the closet. I don't have many clothing pieces for myself. Not even Alfida does," Commented Kai taking out a handful of socks, then looked at the closet pondering about, where he should drop them.

„You know what I'm thinking about?" Questioned Alfida. „If I could buy as Juleka and Rose have in their room those various sized boxes for their clothing, I would definitely use them to put my underwear in it. Would be just good for you too, Kai,"

„Oh you mean those which are like cartons, but covered with a textile pattern?" Questioned Kai making his girlfriend nod. "Hmm we could try it and see if it's fine,"

„If you want during the week we can pass by the store and get some. I have been there a couple of times and I know more or less how to get through easily. The shop nearly reminds me after each visit more and more on a maze," Commented Gerda making Alfida snicker.

„Is it that one from Sweden?" Questioned Alfida making Gerda nod. „Oh isn't that, where you got lost once when you were looking for a suitcase?" Questioned the former pirate making Kai nod.

„Yeah, in the end, I got so frustrated, that I had to eat a burger there at the snack bar," Mentioned Kai making Gerda chuckle.

„Guess I wasn't the only one suffering there," Stated Gerda watching Kai put down his case in front of the bed, then dropped himself up on the bed sighing.

„Well I start school later tomorrow, but I'm really tired," Mentioned Kai making Alfida nod, which took her last shirts up into the closet.

„I will just go to the bathroom, afterward I will go to bed as well. Just as Gerda said, we've got plenty of time,"

„Exactly, if you two need help we're all around," Mentioned Gerda making Alfida nod. „Good night," Gerda wished walking into the bedroom to get down to her brother, which smiled and sat up to hug the older sister.

„Thanks for inviting us to live here. Your roommates are all quite friendly with us,"

„We've been living together for a little while and we knew each other all from the high school, so it's a safe situation for us all," Spoke Gerda. „You know if you got something I'm still here for you or eventually Rollan if I wouldn't be around or anything. You two seem to have bond slowly with the time so far I noticed,"

„Yes, we did. I don't know, I think we just needed time to get to know each other, nothing much," Kai pointed out making Gerda nod, then pecked him on the forehead and made her way out of the bedroom, heading across the corridor to the last one watching the room across, where Luka sat on the bed with his earplugs on listening to music. Gerda smiled, then entered into the bedroom she shares with her boyfriend, which she encountered on his bed lying half-awake. Gerda approached her boyfriend, then sat down on the edge to look at him, which rolled his eyes up at the girl and smiled.

„Do they need any help?" Questioned Rollan making Gerda shake her head.

„They just have to unpack out their clothings for now and the rest will be done in the next days," Mentioned Gerda. „Kai left his painting easel at the school and that's pretty much the only thing that didn't fit in his suitcase,"

„Okay and Alfida?"

„I don't know, I think she's got everything so far I know," Commented the blonde, then watched the boy yawn, making Gerda grin.

„Perdona," Apologized Rollan, then Gerda turned herself into her magical form, then lied herself down beside Rollan and embraced her arms around the boyfriend making him drop his chin surprised when she began to pat him with her index finger „You're freezing,?" Questioned the Spaniard making Gerda shake her head.

„No, just would love to feel your warmth," Spoke Gerda, then Rollan wrapped his arms around the girl tight and pressed his lips on the girls. Rollan shove his fingers into Gerda's hairstreaks to caress her gently making her sigh enamored at the deed, thereafter Rollan smiled and moved his head aside continuing with it, then noticed on the night table next to Gerda's bed an envelope which was addressed to her.

„Have you actually seen, what that envelope there was, that came from Norway?" Asked Rollan making Gerda shake her head.

„Where is it?"

„There," Pointed Rollan out, then sat up along with Gerda and got up to hand it out to Gerda, then sat down next to her watching her open it up with one of her claws.

„Good day. We're here to inform you, that the SAR has encountered two people inside a frozen block and DNA tests have shown that this man and woman under the name Vegard and Una are in fact the biological parents of the person Gerda. A double-check can be made again at any hospital or clinic for a certain result. For further information, please contact our hotline and a staff member will be glad to help you out….." Read Gerda and looked at Rollan with a wide-open mouth making him bewildered.

„Your…... parents'…...they're alive?" Asked Rollan unsure, then Gerda analyzed the letter again and nod.

„I….I think that's what the letter is trying to tell me…..It's…...could this be true?" Asked Gerda. „That my parents really are alive?" Rollan shrugged his shoulders, then looked at the letter again.

„We could try to call these people here from the mail and see, what we can find out. If there's going to be a meeting or anything, I can come along with you. Even Kai and Alfida can tag along, in any occasion,"
„Yes, I think the first thing we could do tomorrow is to call and then we look, what we can do next," Suggested Gerda making Rollan nod and place his arm around Gerda's back to caress her.

"No tienes miedo. Everything is going to be alright," Rollan assured letting the girlfriend lean on his forehead. „I'll be there when you need it,"

„Io se, mi amor," Commented Gerda forming her lips into a smile knowing she could count on her boyfriend.

Adrien sat on the laptop in the kitchen of his bodyguard's house learning for an school exam and yawned loud, then closed the cover of the laptop and got up from his chair, then walked into the living room to encounter the bodyguard sleeping on the couch with the TV on. Adrien smiled, then picked up a cover that was folded beside it and used it to cover the big man. Adrien walked back into the kitchen to get a drink out from the fridge, then heard someone knock on the window and he moved up at it to stare at his reflection afterward Nino glimpsed throught the window shrieking Adrien.

„Wah!"

Nino began to laugh, then Adrien sighed a little annoyed and opened the window.

„Nino, you scared the shit out of me," Spoke Adrien making Nino chuckle.

„I know, I'm sorry. I was driving home, then I remembered to take a stop here to see how you're doing,"

„I'm fine I guess. I've been before at the hospital and there's still no sign of my mother. She's still lying there as if she was dead,"

„Yeah that's ruff," Commented Nino showing his friend empathy. „How long are you going to wait with her? It's been going for a while,"

„I don't know it Nino. I don't know, who I should listen to. Aunt Amelie says this, the bodyguard says that, Felix doesn't care. I'm quite undecisive here,"

„Well in the end of the day it's up to you and your dad. Your dad obviously wants her to continue there until she eventually wakes up and you're….different,"

„The worst part is, that you don't know, if she's going to make it out of there or not. You will just waste your money on the serum, the attached machine on her and eventually any sort of care on her,"

„I don't know…..I…..well I do have met a few people who were living without parents or with a missing parent and….I remember the grandmother of Laura from my old fencing class had decided on herself to give up her life. Everybody was against it from her family, but her grandmother wanted to do it that way. She had a disease with no cure, she had membership on that clinic in Switzerland, which is meant to help people decice, if they really want to end their lives, except they have to pass throught multiple tests to make sure, they're really willing to do so…...What I don't know about my mom is, would she be okay, if I would agree to have the medics turn her machine or of want them to do everything possible to eventually get her back,"

Yes, that's a tough question…..You know, if you'd like you could talk with an psychologist about it, or me or someone who has lost a parent recently or long while ago. Someone who's able to be neutral and supportive to you no matter what. I'm trying my best on you, dude, but death topics aren't mine,"
„This makes us two," Agreed Adrien with a chuckle, then looked at the car to see in it Nino's younger brother Chris using his smartphone. „Are you going home?"

„We haven't had any dinner yet and were going up to McBurger. What about I offer you a milkshake or something?" Questioned Nino. „I think some fresh air and a different atmosphere could make you feel well,"

„Hmm…."Asked Adrien looking back at the living room, where the bodyguard sat and Adrien nodded. „I will just leave a note and get ready. I'll be out in five minutes," Said Adrien closing the window leaving Nino back, which awaited Adrien's arrival soon.

One month later Gerda and Kai had made their way along with their partners back to Norway and had reunited with the royal troll family to get to see each other again after a long while.

„I couldn't be more happier to know you two are alright," Stated King Arrog having his arms behind Kai and Gerda's heads. „That there was a chance for all of us to get out of there is a miracle,"

„We're happy as well to see you and your family again, your majesty," The blonde mentioned making Kai nod.

Alfida stood in the same room looking at a newspaper along with Orm, where they were looking at a death scoreboard of several people, most of them, who didn't make it to survive after being saved from ice.

„For the humans here this sounds like a big miracle, but I think the ice was mainly caused by the Snow Queen herself and you know…..it's magic, it's sort of a different sort of freeze. You're usually freezed immediately and other way like, if you fall into a frozen lake or a nearly frozen one you just get undercooled and eventually drown or lose your senses,"

„That's how my dad died according to my mom, back when I was a newborn," Mentioned Alfida. „They were escaping from a crowd of mob and he accidentally fell off a cliff into a lake followed by two other mates,"
„Just like me, besides I didn't get to meet my two parents. My dad got crushed by a rock in the mines and my mother had fallen of the bridge after a wild storm in the evening, when she was coming home, so only my grandmother remained alive,"

„All of us…...each of us had a dark past about our loss of parents," Mentioned Alfida. „And now we see how Gerda and Kai's parents show up alive after a long while…..Some people's life may start worse out, but in the end there's another way leading to happiness,"

„Yep," Added Alfida then looked at Rollan, which stood at the window looking down and Alfida grinned, then picked up a pillow and threw it against Rollan shrieking him.

„Whoa!" Yelped Rollan looking around to see Alfida laugh, then he picked up the pillow to throw it against Orm.

„Hey! That was Alfida!" Complained the troll, making Alfida laugh louder.

„Why so distracted?" Questioned the girl making Rollan shrug his shoulders. „Nervous to make a bad impression on the parents?"

„No, just had been looking down at the backyard," Commented Rollan making the girl nod.

The door got shut open, showing the troll triplets ran into the living room towards Gerda to hug her.

„Gerda!" All shouted making Gerda smile and get down to embrace them.

„My, you've got all tall," Complimented Gerda holding them tight to her, making Alfida smile along with Rollan. „Do you guys remeber Alfida or Rollan?" Questioned Gerda, then the light-brown cub ran towards Rollan to embrace his leg, surprising him.

„Hola pequeñuelo," Greeted Rollan passing his hand over the cub's head, then a second troll cub joined as well and the third ran at Alfida to give her his hand to shake, making her smile. „Remember me? Questioned Rollan, followed by one of the trolls bitting him on his arm. „Hey! For what was that?"

Gerda chuckled, then picked up the troll, that had bitten her boyfriend and held him up. „Wow, they're much heavier now,"

„They have the weight of an average8 year-old human child I believe," Stated Queen Maribel entering into the living room and the trolls returned to the woman, except for the one on Gerda's arms, which she neared to Rollan.

„That's the one, that adored you the most, don't you remember?" Asked Gerda making Rollan grin a little embarrassed.

„I haven't seen them in a long while and now with them a little older I have a hard time remembering them by their looks," Commented Rollan watching Gerda put the cub down, which looked up at Rollan again and waved at him. Rollan smiled, then watched the boy ran towards the mother, which got down on her knees to receive the boy in her arms and hug him.

„When they were younger they were so hiperactivo," Stated Rollan making Gerda nod.

„Most of the cubs, mainly siblings are really active. You do really need to have a active plan for them for the day so they have it easier to fall asleep," Commented the king.

„Humans are like that too. Depending on the child thought," Foretold Gerda, then noticed Maribel about to close the door, but she noticed at the end of the corridor a troll knight ran towards the door waving at the queen.

„Your majesty!" Called the troll stopping by the troll female, then got down on his knee. „The parents are here," Stated the troll making Kai drop his mouth anxious, then looked at Gerda that looked at Rollan and Alfida, that were looking at her.

„Come, that's the moment you've been waiting for all month," Spoke Alfida as Rollan nodded, then Gerda glanced at Kai, which walked towards to the queen followed by Gerda and waited for the arrival of the parents. Alfida got behind the siblings along with Rollan and King Arrog to await the parents of their friends.

At the end of the hall came up the troll guard accompanying a red-brownish hair-colored man along with a brunette woman in a more contemporary clothing walking together hand in hand looking at the hall they were crossing, making Gerda hold her hand in front of her mouth as she recognized her parents, which she hasn't seen since her fourth age of year. Gerda looked at Kai, which was looking at his parents as well, then the parents stopped in the middle of the corridor looking at the two young adults and Gerda departed first to get into the arms of her parents.

„Dad! Mom!" Cried Gerda having the couple embrace her hand happily to see her daughter, then Kai ran at the back of Gerda to join the hug.

„My, have you two grown up," Spoke the mother leaning her chin over Gerda's shoulder.

„Is that you, Kai?" Asked the father looking at the son, which grinned a little embarassed. „You have the face of my father," Spoke the man. „The exact same shape,"

Gerda chuckled, then embraced her father along with the brother and the mother Una looked at the troll family at the entrance and noticed Alfida and Rollan standing at the entrance with a smile from seeing the family reunited, then the mother placed her hand on her husband's shoulder to show him the two humans,

„Are they your friends?" Asked Vegard looking at his children, before glimpsing back at them and Gerda looked back along with Kai. Gerda smiled, then Alfida walked further along with the Spaniard and watched Gerda and Kai step aside.

„Mom that's Alfida. She's our friend and the girlfriend of Kai," Introduced Gerda watching Alfida smile and lean ou her hand.

„Nice to meet you," Alfida spoke receiving Vegard's hand to shake.

„And this is Rollan. He's my boyfriend and he is also from our time, but he grew up half of his life back in Spain and had moved to Norway short before we were frozen," Introduced Gerda looking at Rollan, which bowed down at the couple and got up with an tensed smile, then looked at Gerda which chuckled and patted him on the shoulder.

„All our stories must be pretty different and complicated I feel," Commented Vegard making Gerda nod.

„It is a really long story," Agreed the daugther.

„You all have the entire day time to get to know each other's stories. If you don't mind I'd like you all to stay for dinner and be our guests. I would really like comment about your girl Gerda mostly. As you probably have heard, she was the one who defeated the Snow Queen," Commented Arrog making Vegard widen his eyes.

„She did?…...Wow, you're stunning girl," Commented the father placing his hands on Gerda's cheeks making her chuckle.

„And we didn't have on that time any magic powers….well, she…..I didn't as well, but still it was great," Spoke Kai making his parents nod.

„But now we have our magical powers. Kai can make his drawings come to life and I can turn into a sort of superheroine. I can fly and have super strenght. I think there could be more, but I'm not sure if I figured out everything yet,"

„We would be happy to see that you two," Stated Vegard. „I'm sure you're both amazing,"

„They really are," Commented Rollan looking at the two making Gerda smile.

„As you're all here right now, I would like to offer you all a cup of coffee or at least tea," Offered the queen of the trolls. „Please. After all this what happened I would be glad if I could give you something after all these days,"
„Well I could really use a cup of coffee," Spoke Vegard making his wife nod. „Maybe we can put the first questions up on the table and eventually get to know the two lucky ones, that conquered the heart of our precious treasure," Commented Vegard looking at Rollan and Alfida, which glimpsed at each other confused about their sentences.

„Alfida grew up along with us and somewhen both began to get to like each other I think. Rollan I had met at Orm's house and we got to know each other in this time line and to be honest I already was charmed by him on the first day. Soon with the time I began to feel more attracted with the days, that passed by and we spoke with each other,"

„I would say behind our story there was more fun notes, we didn't notice before," Mentioned Rollan making Gerda nod.

„You're talking about the part of us being Lady Frost and Fire King, right?" Questioned the blonde making the boyfriend nod. „There you're right. I'm glad it didn't go as worse as it was. I couldn't bear losing you too," Commented Gerda grabbing Rollan on his hands then lean her forehead on his shoulder.

Alfida snickered, then placed her hands behind the back of the two older friends and earned their looks.

„Hey you two, let's follow Maribel and go get the cup of coffee and tea she promised," Suggested Alfida with a wink making the two nod, then the quartett joined the queen and the parents, that walked further heading to the dinning room, later on were followed by rest of the trolls, that remained inside the living room. Orm being the last one, turned back to close the door, then shrieked as one of his younger cousins pulled him on his tail making him frown.

„No tail pulling," Ordered Orm making the cub chuckle, then he pinched Orm on the leg and ran off heading towards the group, making Orm chuckle and race behind the cub, then smacked Rollan on his back shrieking him.

„You're it!" Shouted Orm making Rollan pull the sleeve of his shirt back and pursued the two trolls making the young women laugh.

This is the end. (Hold your breath and count to ten) Another fic ended, which started because of a meme. Serious this is weird, to be /

I feel like I added too much conversation into this chapter xD But I felt like I needed to have at least an aspect of how everyone was living at the moment. Not all have the happiest endings here, which is kinda new to my fanfics or well here. I'm still fine with it, Adrien's end is actually a quite hard one to think about. I could maybe in another occasion if Adrien had been the focus of this fic have anything like a focus between him and his comatose mother…..you know they are cases, where people lie after accidents or so in coma for so long and mostly for people, who aren't wealthy deciding to pull the plug or not is a pretty hard choice. This is something we probably won't ever see in the show, cause well it's a slightly more mature topic. I know Over the Moon, Abominable of Big Hero 6 focus on the grief of a lost one, but other types of issues could be mentioned too or somehow be /

I'm kinda happy I beat my last year's record with the longest fanfic of mine at least by about 2000 words. For me, my last crossover was better, cause I felt like I was so angry at canon Miraculous, that I suddenly became a pro there at character redemption arcs xD Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting it to be good. I wish „A familar partnership" could have gone better, but it wasn't that bad as it sounded at the start. More….I had a little too many things going on here, that could have been avoided or just reduced to have a better focus on the important things. Hopefully, in the future, I'd be able to rewrite this fanfic or make one inspired by it, but I turn GerdaxRollan into a lovehexagon instead, because I know it's possible if I go by the same route, including making Gerda-Dragon form additionally unknown to Rollan and eventually Rollan has temporarily a miraculous of any sort :D Oh this would be so hilarious but for today's me impossible.

Future plans? I DON'T KNOW yet. I thought on rewriting a fanfic or make oneshots for Christmas, but at the same time continue to make content for GerdaxRollan or the fandom specifically (I secretly hoped to be able to write smut as my 69th fanfic, because you only reach that number once :D What the hell am I writing here? I'm already writing too /
