Chapter 20: Playhouse (Part 2)
Roxanne, Sky, and Summer found themselves in a city full of different shapes and sizes. In fact, the houses looked very square and round.
"Too bad the little clay boy went with the boys. He could have been a good guide for this place." said Roxanne.
"This place looks very cute," said Summer.
"Wonder what it's called," said Sky.
"So you guys, where to?" asked Roxanne.
"I think we should think before we do something." said Summer.
"Why is that?" asked Sky.
"You sometimes rush into things." said Summer.
"No, that's you. All you." said Sky.
"You two look like you get along great." said Roxanne with a smile.
"Actually Roxanne, we are the worst of enemies. Don't trust that little boy. He may look cute like his Dad, but in reality, he's just a goofball." said Summer.
"Hey, steady on." said Sky.
Just then, as usual, Heartless appeared. Roxanne quickly pulled out her sword and Summer got her Keyblade. Sky simply raised his fists in case he needed to punch something.
"I don't know where the heck we are, but I'm ready to kick some Heartless butt." said Sky.
"We don't have time to deal with these things. We need to know where Vanitas is." said Summer.
"Where did I hear that before?" said Sky.
"You guys… if we don't kill these things, they will multiply and hurt people. This world looks like it's inhabited." said Roxanne.
"She's right. We got to fight first." said Summer.
Sky rolled his eyes at Summer's childish behaviour and together, the three friends defeated the shadows that appeared before them. Little did they know that from afar, on top of a tree house, a little boy was watching them with a telescope. He was impressed to see how they fought against the Heartless. Those things have been bothering his world for quite some time and he was sick of it. He wanted to go outside and play with his family, but with those things running around as of late, Planet Pollie was under a lockdown.
Rollie Pollie Ollie quickly landed on the ground and went to his family, who were inside their house, watching the news.
"Ollie, what have I told you about going outside to the tree house. You know those monsters are loose." said Ollie's Mom.
"I"m sorry Mom, but it looks like they are getting their butts kicked!" cried Ollie.
"Ollie!" scolded his mother. Ollie knew he wasn't supposed to say "butt". It was considered a bad word in their household.
He quickly joined his family to watch the news. Apparently, Sky, Summer and Roxanne were the breaking news.
Roxanne summoned Flubber and the little green slime made some Heartless soldiers slip as if they were slipping on banana peels and Sky knocked them out with his fists.
"Just like baseball!" said Roxanne jumping for joy.
"I know. It's fun." said Sky cheerfully.
As they continued fighting, Summer noticed something that caught her eye. Axel's shadow was standing on a nearby tree and he quickly ran. Summer growled under her breath and ran after the creature. Sky and Roxanne quickly followed.
"Where is it going…." thought Summer. She didn't think of that thing as her beloved Axel. She saw it as a shadow who simply took him away. That was it.
The shadow then stopped in front of a giant house that looked like a massive Tea Cup with eyes.
The shadow then placed his hands on the ground and some large Heartless appeared. They were dressed like the typical soldier Heartless, but they were massive and fat. They were known simply as Round Bodies. Or at least that was the name Jiminy Cricket gave them in his recently published Heartless Encyclopedia released under Disney Editions.
Summer had just about enough of those things. She put her Keyblade in the air and the flowers that were embedded on her weapon began to blossom. Summer then screamed out a few words. Words that were well known throughout the galaxy.
"Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" screamed Summer. The flowers then ejected lazer beams of light and the Heartless were all obliterated on the scene. The shadow of Axel took a few hits and screamed. It then ran into a door, which led to another world in the Playhouse.
"Come back!" cried Summer as she chased the creature.
Sky and Roxanne didn't stop. They kept on running to catch up on Summer. As they left, Ollie opened the door to his front door slowly. "Thank you." he said in a whisper. For the first time in a long time, Ollie felt hope. Somewhere in his heart, he felt it.
