Limit: Part Two: Pete and PJ

"Where are you taking me?!" cried PJ in the loudest voice he could. Pete was dragging him into a dark corridor and they appeared in Twilight Town. They found themselves in the tunnels of the subway station and Pete let him go.

"I'm saving your hide PJ! You don't know what's coming!" cried Pete.

"What is going on!?" cried PJ.

"Hear me out. Maleficent has an army of other wizards and bad people from other worlds in her forbidden mountain. And soon, Riku and the other Keyblade Wielders are going to strike the castle!" said Pete.

PJ didn't say a word and Pete continued.

"I betrayed Maleficent. I gave Riku the map of the entire castle and we have a few spies there telling us everything." said Pete.

"You did what?!" cried PJ.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but I know Maleficent is going to find out. You have to stay here and don't do anything." said Pete.

"You want me to hide here?!" cried PJ.

"It's the only way to keep you safe. I don't want Maleficent to take you away!" cried Pete.

"Since when did you care about what Maleficent can do to me? She already did when she took you away! Don't you have any idea how hurt and worried I was?!" cried PJ.

"I know you wouldn't listen to me. I brought help with me." said Pete.

From out of the shadows came an armored person wearing the Heartless symbol on his chest. He then removed his helmet and PJ was taken aback.

"M-Max?!" cried PJ.

"It's been a while." replied Max, speaking to PJ for the first time in forever. PJ folded his arms and frowned on him. "Shame on you. Shame on you for leaving us too. What did my Dad promise you?" asked PJ.

"Give your old man a break. You don't know the whole story. It's time you know what went on." said Max.

"What went on? What are you guys talking about?" cried PJ.

"I went out to look for your Dad. I had to bring him home. I know I made a ton of mistakes. I recognize that. But believe me, I've been fighting against the darkness too. In my own way. And then, your Dad and I ran into each other and he told me what was going on." said Max.

PJ turned to Pete. "So you recruited Max to join you? To stop Maleficent? Then how did you know about Riku and the others planning the fight?" asked PJ.

"I had a friend who convinced me to leave. He's one of Riku's spies. A feller named Kronk." said Pete.

PJ looked at both Pete and Max and shook his head. "You two have a lot to answer for. Max, you are in so much trouble. Have you any idea how much you hurt Uncle Goofy? Not to mention Roxanne and Red! They are both worried sick about you." said PJ.

"I know. I'll make it up to them." said Max.

"How? And when? You left home to fight your battles? Who do you think you are?" said PJ.

"You wouldn't understand PJ! I was tired of living in my father's shadow! He's Captain of Mickey's guards and he practically saved the world! How the heck am I going to live up to that?!" cried Max.

"So this is about living up to your Dad's success. Max! You are you! Goofy is Goofy! And you know your Dad never wanted you to fight against the Heartless! It's a dangerous fight we all are in." cried PJ.

Max didn't say a word and Pete tried to speak. "PJ, please stay here until things cool down." said Pete.

"That will be impossible." said PJ. He pointed behind Pete and Max and they both turned around to see the shadow of Axel, stand there with its eyes now blood red and fangs coming out.

"How did he find us?!" cried Pete.

"Does it matter? Let's take it down." said Max, pulling his sword.

PJ got his shield up. "Don't hurt it. I know this guy." said PJ.

Just then, Sky came from behind the creature and punched it on the back, sending the shadow slamming a wall.

Summer quickly appeared and threw her Keyblade to perform the Strike Raid ability at the shadow. Roxanne and Red followed behind and they gasped at Max's appearance.

"Max." said Roxanne, looking at him for the first time in a while.

"Roxanne." replied Max, looking at his beloved with glowing eyes. Roxanne folded her arms and shook her head.

"You left us. You left and did not leave anything behind." said Roxanne.

"I'll tell you everything. But now is not the time." said Max.

The shadow shrieked in terror and somehow, one way or another, the black ooze that was controlling Axel was fading out. Summer then held her Keyblade into the air and a light beam erupted from it, destroying the shadow once and for all. Axel was at last freed.

"You guys… you rescued me!" cried Axel.

Summer ran to Axel to help him up from the ground. "You need to take it easy." she said softly.

Sky let out a sigh or relief until a dark corridor opened.

Vanitas stepped out, clapping his hands slowly.

"Well strike me down with a Keyblade. You actually saved Axel. Well done Warriors of Light." said Vanitas.

"I won the bet fair and square Vanitas. This means you leave us alone." said Sky, as he bravely confronted Vanitas face to face.

"True, you won the bet we made back in Atlantis. And I have tried to lead you astray to a new path. You're much smarter than I anticipated. Which is why you are very dangerous." said Vanitas.

"It's cool to be dangerous." said Sky.

Axel spoke out. "Vanitas, why are you here? Go away!"

Everyone else joined in. "C'mon! Scram!" cried PJ.

Pete on the other hand was not saying anything. He knew something was not right.

"Why are you here Vanitas?" asked Pete.

"Silence you traitor! You don't have the right to speak to me! I know all about your treachery to Maleficent. But don't worry. I'm not going to tell the old lady that her kingdom is going down. If it does, I'll rise up and I'll be the ruler." said Vanitas.

He then grabbed Sky by the arm and squeezed it really hard, hurting Sky. Everyone stood their ground and Vanitas quickly went to the dark corridor, taking Sky with him.

"Sky! NO!" cried Axel. But it was too late. Sky was gone along with Vanitas.
