Limit: Part Thirteen: The Sky's the Limit

Summer and Axel were both holding hands in Destiny Islands. They have just shared a Paopu fruit and they kissed tenderly as the sun was beginning to set.

"I don't want this to be over," said Axel.

"Me neither. If only Sky were here." said Summer.

"I blame Vanitas. How could he be a part of the team? He's a serpent." said Axel.

"I don't trust him either. But we should watch him very closely. If he does anything to hurt a loved one, he will be punished." said Summer.

They both nodded and they turned to see the sunset.

Red and Roxanne were walking by the beach, not too far from Axel and Summer. Roxas and Xion put them on watch, just in case.

"Do you really think what Bugs Bunny said was true? That Sky's heart was going to reveal itself and come straight home?" asked Roxanne.

"That kid was very spunky and full of hope. He was the most optimistic of all of us." said Red.

"PJ and Pete are on high alert, looking to see if there is something out there that can bring him back." said Roxanne.

"Roxanne, I'm sorry about Max." said Red.

"I'm over him. After what he did; how can I ever forgive him? He hurt your father, and he hurt you." said Roxanne.

"Roxanne, I know I'm technically your brother in law, but you must know this. I will help you in any way I can. And also, if you need a man to be by your side, I'll help you find him." said Red.

Roxanne blushed and held Red's hands. "Thank you for watching over me." she said as she kissed Red on the nose.

Meanwhile, back in Twilight Town, Sora, Roxas and Vanitas were at the top of the tower. A usual spot where Roxas hung out with his family and friends. Now it was a place to face the one who captured his son.

"What you did to my Axel was very terrible. Forgiving you will take a while." said Roxas.

"I know. Axel hates me too. I understand your anger towards me. But I swear to you, I won't ever do anything to upset you all." said Vanitas.

"I spent days worrying about my son and his whereabouts. I know we should forgive you. But I'm not ready. It will take time for me to get used to you. But if anyone needs to talk to you face to face, it should be Ventus." said Roxas.

"Why are you bringing him into this? This is about you and me." said Vanitas.

"You and I have a lot to work with. That's why you are coming with me. We will find my nephew together." said Roxas.

"Really?" asked Vanitas.

"First we visit Ventus. Make peace with him. Then we can discuss things." said Roxas.

"You put him up to this?" asked Vanitas to Sora.

"Nope. Roxas wanted to be with you." said Sora.

Roxas cleared his throat. "Your love for my nephew moved me. I feel like I can trust you. But I don't want to let my guard down. You and I are in on this." said Roxas.

Vanitas lowered his face. "I'll do as you say Roxas," said Vanitas.

"Shake my hand. We're forming an allegiance." said Roxas.

Vanitas shook Roxas's hand and using his Keyblade, he summoned a portal of light.

"Sora, thank you for everything. Please tell Xion and Axel I won't be coming home to dinner anytime soon." said Roxas.

"I'll let Kairi know." said Sora with a smile.

"Faith, trust and Pixie Dust." said Roxas giving Sora a thumbs up. He then looked at Vanitas and nodded. "To the Land of Departure."

Vanitas held his breath. "I'll find you Sky. I promise." he said to himself. And he and Roxas went through the portal.
