Wendy and the Celestial Spirits

Chapter 1
Nobody knew that Lucy was going to be leaving Fairy Tail. Nobody knew that she was planning on giving someone her keys for her spirits. Not even Lucy knew who she was going to give them to yet. She needed to find someone and give them a family, but she did not know who. So, she decided to go to Fairy Hills to talk to Levy. On her way to Levy's dorm she heard screaming and crying, then all the girls in Fairy Hills started to run towards a room. When she got to the room she saw Wendy on the bed crying and Cana and Levy trying to soothe her. "Wendy, what happened?" Cana asked. "I had a dream. Fairy Tail left me to die because I was too damaged. Then Grandine and Jellal came back just to leave me again. Am I really going to be left alone again?" Wendy asked scared. Everybody immediately said no. "Wendy, that is crazy. We will never leave you behind. We all have damage, there is no such thing as being to be damaged." Levy said. When the whole ordeal happened, everybody went to Fairy Tail, except for Wendy. She did not feel like going.
When Lucy got to Fairy Tail she could hear all the girls telling everybody what just happened. Everybody had a look of sadness on their faces except one. Romeo. She secretly got out Loke and Scorpio incase stuff was about to go down. Which it did. "Thank God she said it before I did. When do we kick her out of the guild?" Romeo asked. Even her Celestial Spirits are angry at him. Natsu was the first to react. He went straight towards Romeo and picked him up by the collar of his vest. "If you think we are kicking Wendy out of this guild then you are wrong. Wendy had to go through a lot of crap in her life and we are not putting her through anymore." Natsu said, with barely contained rage. Surprisingly Freed was the next one to talk. "When Wendy and I took the job in Onibus and Happy got heat stroke, she went into action immediately she tried to use that healing spell that would drain her energy to save someone else. She never once hesitated." Freed said. "You should have seen the way she dealt with that sandstorm. She showed no fear or mercy when she destroyed that thing with her roar." Erza chimed in. "Wendy is a big help to the guild and she will always have a place to call home in the guild." The master said. "Wendy is manly!" Elfman yelled. "The only one who seems to have a problem with her is you Romeo. Why is that?" Mira asked with an aura just daring him to lie. "She has been dumped on her butt by so many people in her life. How awful does a person have to be to be dumped by a whole guild?" Romeo said. With that one statement everything got deathly silent. Then the silence was broken. Romeo was sent across the room from a hit to the face by Erza.
After that everybody in the guild ganged up on Romeo. Lucy sent in Loke and Scorpio to try and defuse the situation. Macao went up to the master and asked if he can stop this. "Master, please stop this. My son did not do anything wrong." Macao pleaded. "That is where you are wrong. Your son had insulted a member of this family and he did not even have the guts to say it to her face. You just made everything worse. When all of the fighting is over bringing yourself and your son over to my office and we will discuss further action." The master said.
When the fighting finally stopped Macao dragged Romeo to the master's office and sat him down in the one of the chairs. "Good. Now that the both of you are here I would like to discuss your future at this guild. I do not want this to happen again and I fear that it will if I do not try and set an example." Makarov said. "I was only speaking my mind." Romeo tried to defend himself. "That is precisely the point! That is what is on your mind. That is not what Fairy Tail stands for." Makarov was about to go on when Macao butted in. "So are you saying that he is kicked out of the guild. All because he called a weak dragon slayer, weak. That is stupid. He has a point. How messed up do you have to be for a whole guild to leave you behind." Macao yelled. The whole guild was listening at the door and they were hoping to get what that Macao and Romeo were to be kicked out. "I have had enough! As of this moment you both are no longer welcome at the Fairy Tail guild. If I see either one of you near this guild hall or Wendy, there will be no place on Earthland where you can hide from me or my guild. Now leave." Makarov said in a very calm voice. They left the guild just as Wendy was going in. Something came over Romeo and he went up to Wendy when the door was fully closed and slapped her in the face. She was so shocked that she could not even speak. Macao went up and pulled Romeo away, but Romeo shook him off. He ignited his fists and threw them at her. She finally snapped out of it long enough to take her hand of her face. "What is your problem?" She asked. "You are, because of you we got kicked out of the guild." With that he left her. Little did he know that Cana saw the whole thing. She barged out of the guild with nearly the entire guild behind her. "Cana, is something wrong?" Erza asked trying to keep up with her. "That, is the matter." She spat. She was pointing at Romeo and Macao, Wendy was right next to them holding her cheek and trying to put out a fire around her. Natsu and Gajeel went to go take care of Romeo and Macao while Gray went to go check out Wendy.
Erza went to go get the master. When they got back Macao and Romeo were being beat up by Natsu and Gajeel, Gray was looking at Wendy's cheek and they could both see the large black bruise on her cheek. Erza and Master went over to them. They saw that Gray was trying to get her to remove her hand and Wendy was healing her cheek. "Wendy, you need to ice it. Or else the bruise will go away but the soreness will still be there." He finally said. She agreed to move her hand and he started to ice it. "Wendy. What happened?" Master Makarov asked. Romeo and Macao tried to walk away but Freed created an enchantment that kept them where they were. Wendy looked to Romeo and Macao and shuddered. It went unnoticed by Gray who was still trying to ice her cheek. "Tell them. Or I will." Cana said. "I was making my way down the path and was about to go inside when I passed Romeo and Macao. I made it a few more steps after that before Romeo went up to me and slapped me. Macao tried to pull him away, but Romeo shrugged him off and started to throw fire at me. He told me that they got kicked out of the guild because of me." Wendy said. By the time she was done Makarov had a deadly aura around him. Everybody took a step away. "Children, please go back inside the guild. Now!" Makarov said. Gray picked Wendy up and took her inside the guild to finish with her cheek.
Makarov grew taller and taller until he was taller than the guild. "Did you not hear me when I told you to not go near this guild and Wendy? Did you take that as, the next time you see Wendy, slap her in the face? You hurt my child and you defiled this guild name by standing in this place. You have 10 seconds to leave and never return or I will go get the Rune Knights." Makarov yelled angrily. He went back to normal height and walked inside the guild. When he got in he saw Gray and Wendy sitting at the bar with everybody else looking on with worried look on their faces. Then the doors slammed open and Laxus walked. Everybody knew how Laxus looked upon Wendy as a little sister and would be very angry so Freed, Evergreen, and Bickslow intercepted him. "Don't freak out." Evergreen said warily. "Why would I freak out?" Laxus asked. He then noticed Wendy was not around him. "Where is Wendy?" He asked. The whole guild, except Gray, moved so Laxus could get through. He moved forward to go to the bar, thinking she would be there drinking her apple juice. She was there, with Gray, and she looked to be crying. "What happened?" Laxus asked with a dangerous aura around him. Freed dragged him away to talk to him. "Romeo and Macao got kicked out of the guild because Romeo attacked Wendy in front of the guild. He slapped her in the face and threw fire at her." Freed explained. Everybody watched as Laxus calmly walked out of the guild and towards the forest. "Is he mad at me?" Came a very small voice from behind them all. Freed turned towards Wendy with a small smile. "He is not mad at you. He is mad at Romeo and Macao. I don't know when he is coming back because he is blowing off some steam, so why don't we go to our table and see if you can beat me at cards." Freed said. He watched as Wendy smiled and got off the bar stool.
(Time Skip)
Lucy walked into the guild with a mission. She was looking for Wendy and Laxus. She had her spirits permission to do this, because today would be the day she left. She finally spotted Wendy and Laxus with the rest of the Thunder God Tribe at their normal table. She walked up to them. "Hey Wendy, can I talk to you?" Lucy asked, knowing that Laxus would follow her. "Sure." She said happily. She got up to walk when she noticed Laxus stand up. "Can Laxus come as well?" She asked. Lucy nodded and they both followed her to a quieter place in the guild. "I see your bruise has healed. Wendy was about to say something when Laxus cut in. "We do not like to talk about it. Why did you want to talk to her?" Laxus said coldly. "Right. Well, I must leave the guild. Where I am going has a law against magic. I need you to be my spirits master, Wendy." Lucy said. Both Laxus and Wendy were staring at her with mouths wide open in shock. "I was actually about to go to the Master and talk to him." Lucy said. "What about Levy, Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Happy?" Wendy asked. "I will talk to them and then I will leave." Lucy said. She handed her keys off to Wendy and then left for the Master's office. It took all of five minutes for them to be done and Lucy came out with no guild mark on her hand. She walked over to her team, after getting Levy, and sat with them. "Lucy, your guild mark is gone." Erza stated catching everybody's attention. "I know. I must leave the guild. I am going somewhere that strictly prohibits magic of any kind." Lucy said. "Where are you going?" Gray asked. "I am going to work in my father's estate. Since he died I got the estate with my mother's and father's grave on it. You all need to stay here. If you go anywhere near it then the barrier they have set up to keep magic users out with kill you." Lucy said. "What about your spirits?" Levy asked. "Have you noticed that Wendy has been so lonely. Ever since Carla got killed in Edolus she has been moping around with a very fake smile on her face. She pretends she is happy but every time someone mentions Carla, she excuses herself. I gave Wendy the Spirits and they all except her. Even Aquarius. They need someone like Wendy." Lucy said. Her friends all nodded and they all cried as Lucy left the guild. They all gravitated towards Wendy and they stayed by her side.
Wendy spent some time in her apartment in Fairy Hills when a key started to glow. She looked up and saw Crux sitting there. "Hello." She said. "I felt your distress and wanted to ask you if something is wrong, Master." Wendy flinched at the title she was given. "Please don't call me Master. I would much rather prefer Wendy. I was just thinking about everything that happened this week." Wendy said. "Ah, there has been a lot of stuff that has happened. Do you need something to take your mind off it?" Crux asked. Wendy thought for a moment. "I would like that." She said respectfully. "I will go get some spirits for you to meet and get to know." Crux said, Wendy nodded. Crux left and then came back with Loke. "We met at the S-Class games. We felt your distress, is something the matter?" Before she could answer Aquarius came out. She looked over Wendy and decided to talk. "You better not be as big of a brat as Lucy was when she was a kid." She then spotted Wendy's cheek. "What happened to your cheek?" She asked. Loke looked at her cheek and saw a bruise as well. "I was attacked outside of the guild hall yesterday." Wendy said. Loke and Aquarius looked shocked. "Where was Carla when this happened?" Aquarius asked when she said that Wendy's face fell. "Wendy?" Loke asked. "She died in Edolus. Pantherlily offered his company but he is Gajeel's exceed." Wendy said. "I am fine, please do not worry. I think I am going to go to the guild for a little while." Wendy said. "You sure you won't get attacked again?" Aquarius asked. "No. They got kicked out of the guild." Wendy said. She was about to leave when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw a fuming Loke and Aquarius. "Who in the guild thought it would be a great idea to attack you?" Loke asked with a deadly aura around him. Wendy mumbled something. "What?" Aquarius nearly yelled. "It was Romeo." Wendy said a little louder. Loke popped out. "Where is he going?" Wendy asked worriedly. "I think he is going to blow off some steam." Aquarius said. "Why?" Wendy asked. "Just to get rid of some anger that he has stored up. Why don't we go back to the guild? Don't forget your keys." Aquarius said to try to keep suspicion from him.
(Loke P.O.V.)
Why that little jerk. I am going to kill him, how dare he attack a member of my guild with no other reason then to make her feel awful about herself. Not to mention he attacked my new master. Well at least she isn't dead, but the next time I see those little twerps I am going to kill them. I am still sad about Lucy, but I have no reason to be mad about Wendy. Wendy is awesome, she is nice, and non-violent, and she won't kick me in the face like Lucy. The only thing I worry about is when she is in battle. Celestial spirits are meant to be called upon for help and Wendy probably won't call on us and get hurt, because she is always afraid of being a bother to people. She has to enter a contract with us first but I have a feeling she will let us dictate the whole thing and have no say at all. I think she is afraid of loosing people in her life so she does things to make them happy. I normally would never serve someone like that but Wendy is also a very strong person. It's getting dark, I should probably be getting back or Wendy will worry about me. I start walking off when I see Romeo. I go up to him and tap him on the shoulder. "Hey Romeo, I heard you beat up a little girl, and by little girl I mean my new master. I hope for your sake that isn't true, but Wendy isn't the type to lie. So you have until the count of three to get away from here or you will loose the rest of your life span." He looked so scared that he ran faster then Erza to get to her strawberry cake. I start walking back when I realize something. Wendy is all alone with Aquarius. I start sprinting back and get there in record time. When I get there I am shocked to see a napping Wendy on the bed and Aquarius on the arm chair next to her reading quietly. "I guess I was over-reacting." I say when I get over to her. "How are you able to stay in the human world for so long?" I ask Crux. He looks like he is sleeping, then wakes up. "She does not need celestial magic since she already has Dragon Slayer magic, so in other words she has an unlimited supply of magic which allows her to call on all spirits at once without breaking a sweat. It is quite amazing actually." He said, then he popped out of here like he did every time. We both looked at each other, then looked at Wendy. I said what both of us were thinking. "Wendy is the strongest Master I've ever had." "Yup." Aquarius said. "Do you know what this means?" I ask, Aquarius shakes her head no. "It means that we can stay in the human world for a year and she could call upon another spirit and be perfectly fine." I tell her. She floats up to Wendy and looks down at her. "Well, it looks like this will be one Hell of an adventure." She said, and she smiled a genuine smile. One that I have not seen in ages.
