It was getting closer to the day Brax and Ricky would return from their honeymoon, and Heath was starting to get more nervous about when he'd need to tell the eldest Braxton about the robbery Tyler had been dragged into. Kyle and Lucas had thought it would be better to come clean sooner rather than later, knowing things could be a lot worse the longer Heath left it, Casey also agreeing with them which didn't go down well.

Surf Club - Angelo's

"Oi Lucas, you back there?" Heath shouts over the bar.

"What's going on?" Lucas frowns as he walks out from the storeroom.

"Can you get me some lunch from the kitchen." Heath orders.

"Is that what you called me out here for?" Lucas asks, staring at him as Kyle walks in for his shift.

"Yeah." Heath nods. "So go on."

"I can't wait until Brax comes back and stops you from thinking you run Angelo's." Lucas mutters.

"Come on bro, you love it really." Heath smirks. "Now go and get me my lunch."

"I hate this bossy side of you." Kyle shakes his head as Lucas walks into the kitchen.

"Who asked you?" Heath lightly huffs.

"What's got you in such a mood today?" Kyle asks.

"Tyler. He won't stop covering shifts for free and has been doing everything he can to impress me. I'm starting to think sending him away would have been the better option." Heath rolls his eyes.

"So what I'm getting from that is you think he's now done enough to prove that he wants to stay here?" Kyle says.

"I don't know, Brax is usually the one who would sort stuff like this." Heath says.

"Well if you want my opinion, I think he's being genuine and you need to cut him some slack." Kyle says. "If Brax came home and saw that things were doing good here, and there was no sucking up, he'd be pretty impressed with the way you've handled things." He says as Lucas walks back out, handing Heath's lunch over to him.

"That is a good idea bro, don't think I'm giving you credit for it." Heath says as he walks off.

"No difference there." Kyle mutters, turning to Lucas. "Why'd you give into him?"

"Let's just say he isn't going to be asking me to get his lunch orders anymore." Lucas grins.

"What did you do?" Kyle asks.

"You know how he hates the really hot chilli sauce used in that taco we had ages ago?" Lucas asks, Kyle nodding. "I may have bought a jar for moments like that."

"Lucas!" Kyle laughs. "I never thought you'd be that type of person!"

"I'm not, but Heath needs to learn a lesson that we aren't his personal slaves." Lucas laughs. "At least I know he won't ask me to get his lunch orders again. Even if he does, I hid the jar at the back of the tins, so it's ready to use again."

"I've never seen you in a mischievous mood like this before but it's fun. What else have you got planned against Heath then?" Kyle asks.

"I hadn't thought of anything else yet and I'm due to finish my shift soon." Lucas says. "You know Brax put extra on when you were due to be on shift, so we could go and play some tricks." He smirks.

"Let's do it." Kyle nods.

Surf Club - The Gym

"I'm going to kill him!" Heath shouts.

"What's wrong?" Casey asks as him and Tyler walk over to the office door.

"Lucas put chilli sauce in my pasta!" Heath complains, standing up before storming out of the office, Casey and Tyler moving out of his way. "You!" He glares, pointing to the triplet that just walked in.

"That's Kyle." Tyler smirks, laughing with Casey.

"What have I done?" Kyle asks, trying not to smile.

"Where's that evil clone of yours?" Heath asks.

"I don't know which one you're on about." Kyle shrugs.

"Where's Lucas?" Heath shouts.

"Did I hear my name?" Lucas asks as he walks in with Emily, who arrived to do a boxing session.

"I asked you to get my lunch and you put hot chilli sauce in it!" Heath glares, lunging forward to grab him, Kyle blocking him off.

"My hand might have slipped a little when putting it on." Lucas grins as Heath takes Kyle's drink from his hand, taking a big gulp to help get rid of the burning from the chilli sauce. "I wouldn't have done that if I were you." He mutters, sharing an even more amused glance with Kyle, and also Emily, who he filled in before they went into the gym.

"Ugh! What is that?" Heath urges.

"I asked John for the most disgusting thing he could make in a few minutes and he came up with that." Kyle laughs. "It's a green smoothie mixed with a few things Lucas gave him from Angelo's kitchen."

"Seriously, what have I done to annoy you?" Heath asks.

"You order us around like you own us and you're not even nice about it half the time. It's time you started doing things for yourself, or there will be more surprises left around for you." Lucas says.

"Finally, someone else has said it." Casey exclaims.

"So you're all against me now?" Heath asks.

"We're not against you, you just need to stop bossing us around so much." Kyle says. "You've got a kid on the way and they're going to need you to do things for them, because they can't fend for themselves. That means you need to stop relying on other people and learn to do things yourself, or you'll become too reliant on others."

"Alright Brax Junior, no need to give me a lecture about it." Heath shakes his head as he walks back to the counter.

"Don't call me that." Kyle lightly glares, thinking he was talking sense.

"You did sound a bit like Brax then." Casey says, smirking at his brother's face. "But I'm with Kyle on this, we're not your slaves."

"Yes, I've got it! Now all of you get back to work." Heath says, glancing at them. "And that's hardly an order, I just don't need Brax complaining that I've let the businesses slide while he's been gone."

"Alright, I've got a boot camp to set up for anyway." Casey says, grabbing the boxing gear before walking out.

"And what do you want?" Heath asks Emily.

"I was just here for the boxing class, but if you're going to be like that I'll take my business to another gym." Emily says, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Nah, it's all good." Heath says, smirking at her before walking back into the office.

"He's definitely thinking of ways to get back at you two." Emily laughs at Lucas and Kyle.

"I wouldn't if I were him, we've got plenty more tricks left." Lucas smiles as he walks out with them.

"Oi Tyler, in here." Heath shouts over to him, Tyler walking into the office. "Take a seat, we need to talk."

"About what?" Tyler asks, sitting down opposite Heath.

"You looked pretty awkward out there, like you would run out if you could. What was that about?" Heath asks, having noticed he was quiet about it all.

"Nothing." Tyler sighs.

"Talk, now."

"It's just hard seeing Lucas close with Kyle considering everything. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we've got our triplet and we can be brothers, I just never thought Lucas would get on with him better than me. It was always just us, and now I feel like it's just them." Tyler says.

"Lucas isn't replacing you with Kyle." Heath frowns.

"I know that, it's just… Lucas was never like that with me. He did whatever I said and made out like he was interested in stuff I did even though I knew he wasn't. With Kyle, it's not like that. They don't need to question each other over anything because they just have this understanding." Tyler says. "I don't get why we were never like that."

"What you've got to understand is they've got a lot more in common than you think. I get where you're coming from, and you'll always be their eldest triplet no matter what, but that doesn't mean you have to be like them." Heath says. "You've got a tight bond with Lucas, but it's different to his and Kyle's because you had to practically parent both of you just to survive. It doesn't mean he loves you any less now he's got Kyle."

"So why does it feel like I'm losing him?"

"It's been tough on you since you came here. So much has happened that has questioned your loyalty to this family, and Lucas didn't want it ruined for him. He just needs to see that you are serious about staying on the right path now, and you are staying here with us. He just didn't want to get invested in you staying here, and then that being taken from him again. Prove to him that this is where you want to be, hang around with them both more. Just be the brother they need." Heath says.

"Okay, that's good advice. It just sounds so weird coming from you rather than Brax or my counsellor." Tyler lightly smirks.

"Get back to work." Heath shakes his head with a smile.
