Braxton House

"Hey, what did you say to Tyler?" Kyle asks his older brother.

"Not a lot, why?" Heath asks.

"No reason, he's just been wanting to hang out with me and Lucas more. He said he'd spoken to you about something and you made him see sense about a few things." Kyle says.

"Oh, that. It's just something between us, no need to worry, it was all good." Heath says. "Can you just do me a favour and include him in things you and Lucas do?"

"Yeah, we are." Kyle frowns. "Was it said that we don't?"

"He just feels a bit left out since you and Lucas are so close now. He wants to prove that he's here for good, and that he doesn't want to ruin what he's done in his sessions." Heath says.

"And?" Kyle asks, sensing there was more.

"Brax won't see me as incompetent if he sees how well things are doing around here after that stupid stunt from the River Boys." Heath says. "But mainly for Tyler, I don't need another brother moping around cause he feels left out." He faintly smirks.

"We'll we've told him he doesn't need to ask to hang around with us and he's been doing better over the last couple days. Of course this is for your benefit though." Kyle rolls his eyes.

"Well I helped you out a lot when you felt like that."

"No, Brax helped me out a lot. If I remember correctly, you made it worse by telling Bianca you had more in common with them than me."

"Don't bring that up again." Heath glares, then realising Kyle was joking about it. "You're not funny."

"Oh come on Heath, you should be grateful I can make jokes out of it now." Kyle laughs.

"Where is everyone else anyway?" Heath asks, having been seeing Bianca on her break at school before he came home.

"Lucas and Tyler went to the diner to get us some food, and I don't actually know where Casey went. He was here with Denny, had a phone call and they both rushed off somewhere." Kyle says.

"What about this girlfriend of yours? I haven't seen her around here for a while. Is everything good between you two?"

"We're doing fine, Heath. I don't need you questioning us either after everything with Brax. She's just been busy trying to keep on top of her coursework. She actually texted not long ago saying she was on her way over to hang out." Kyle says.

"That's great, and I'm not questioning you. You two were just joined at the hip before all of this stuff with that creep went down." Heath says.

"We're still close, she just wants to do well to become a victim support officer. This job would mean a lot to her and she doesn't want any setbacks that could jeopardise her chance of getting it, so I'm not getting in the way when she needs to study, she's already behind on the course having started later in the year compared to everyone else." Kyle says.

"They'd be lucky to have her. Anyway, have you heard from Brax or Ricky yet? They were due to fly back today, I just haven't heard anything from them, neither has Bianca actually." Heath says.

"Nope, I've heard nothing, neither has Lucas or Tyler as far as I know." Kyle says.

"Hey." Emily smiles as she walks through the door. "Look who I saw outside." She says, moving out the way of the door.

"Casey?" Kyle frowns and his brother and Denny walk through the door.

"Geez, thanks Kyle." Brax says as he walks in behind them with Ricky.

"You're back already?" Heath frowns.

"The flight got in early and you said you had a shift this morning." Brax says.

"Yeah well I got cover didn't I." Heath shrugs as Lucas and Tyler get back.

"You're back." Lucas smiles. "How was it?"

"It was so great!" Ricky grins. "Who knew you Braxton's could plan something as great as that?" She jokes.

"I want to hear all about it!" Emily smiles.

"How about we head to the diner? I'm meeting Bianca there soon." Ricky says.

"Hang on a minute, Bianca told me she couldn't hang out with me for long today cause she had a lot of work to get through." Heath frowns.

"Did she?" Ricky says before walking out with Emily and Denny, them all hearing them laugh as they walk down the path.

"Well that's me seeing Emily even less now." Kyle mutters.

"I was meant to be spending the day with Denny." Casey says.

"Tough luck boys, Ricky's been bursting to tell everyone about our honeymoon. I'm guessing Bianca chose half the restaurants?" Brax smirks, the triplets and Casey nodding. "I want to know what else has been going on here, and I think Lucas will be the best guy to start that."

"About that phone call, I was just drunk." Lucas says.

"Yeah, I gathered that much." Brax says. "So?" He asks, noticing Heath and Tyler share a glance.

"There was a bit of an incident but I've sorted it and things have been great since, hey Tyler?" Heath says.

"What incident?" Brax asks, not giving Tyler time to say anything.

"I went for drinks with the River Boys, and then they robbed the bar after hours." Tyler says, noticing Brax's face. "But before you have a go, I never knew they were going to do it before it was too late to back out."

"And I sorted it, Tyler's made up for it and the boys did admit about not telling him about it." Heath says. "Even ask Deano, he came round and told the boys."

"Yep, it's true." Lucas nods.

"Well if it's been handled, then I guess I can live with it." Brax says. "What about this situation with your mum, has that been sorted?" He asks Lucas and Tyler, having been told by Casey on the way home about some of it.

"We haven't seen her for a few days now, so we're hoping she's gone." Lucas says.

"I was going to use the money from the robbery to pay her off, I just haven't seen her to be able to do it." Tyler says.

"The money from the robbery?" Brax frowns. "You mean you've still got it?"

"We've stashed it away in a safe place, and it's not here, the gym or Angelo's before you go asking. I thought it was a good thing to use the money for as they want her out of the Bay." Heath says. "And you just said you'd leave it, so you don't need to get involved, on the robbery part anyway."

"What else has gone on that I don't know about?" Brax asks.

"We don't know what you don't know because Lucas can't remember much about his drunk phone call with you." Kyle smirks.

"Didn't think you were one for hangovers?" Brax says, glancing at Lucas.

"I'm not normally, I just drank a huge amount that night without eating much first." Lucas says, going slightly red.

"Well I think you covered a majority of it, so I won't bore you with what I already know." Brax says. "Just don't lie about anything because I'll be able to catch you out." He says, glad he had an upper hand in the situation.

"Well, other than that, it's been pretty good here." Heath says as he grabs the diner bag from Lucas.

"No, that's for us!" Lucas complains, Heath smirking at him. "Drop it now or I won't hesitate in putting my next plan into action." He orders, all of them staring at him as they'd never seen this side of him.

"Alright, calm down." Heath mutters, handing it back.

"What's that about?" Brax asks, surprised that Heath listened to him.

"Heath has been ordering us all around a lot since you've been gone, even over little things that he is more than capable of doing. Lucas decided he'd had enough, so put hot chilli sauce in Heath's pasta, then Kyle gave him a disgusting smoothie." Casey smirks.

"It's been working though, hasn't it?" Lucas smiles.

"Hardly!" Heath glares. "Anyway, how about we have a barbie tonight now we're all together."

"Can't say no to that." Brax says, them all agreeing.

"Case, we'll go and get some stuff." Heath says, walking out with him.

"How have you been since our last call?" Brax asks Kyle as Lucas and Tyler go to sit at the table.

"Really good. The meds are working great now, and it feels good being back here. Alex said we can start cutting my counselling sessions back a bit if he keeps seeing good improvements like this." Kyle smiles.

"See, I told you to wait it out a bit." Brax proudly smiles, having been worried about the timing of his honeymoon, but he's glad everything was okay.

"I haven't felt this good in ages, and things have been great around here. I've also put a note on your desk about picking a few more shifts up." Kyle says.

"I was just going to check on the restaurant, so I'll have a look for you." Brax says, Kyle nodding as he walks over to join his triplets as Brax leaves to head to Angelo's.
