Lieutenant Commander Steven Jack McGarrett, Navy Seal, head of the Five-0 Taskforce of Hawaii, sits on a plane, waiting for take-off. He looks out the window at the beautiful state of Hawaii, knowing one day he'll come home. His phone pings, and the Seal looks at the glowing screen, alerting him of a new text message from his best friend, and partner, Detective Danny Williams. The message reads, 'Miss you already.'

The Commander smiles at the message, turning his phone off. He turns back to the window just a shadow darkens the seats.

"Is this seat taken?" A thick Yorkshire accent questions. Turning his head from the window, Steve finds a woman with blonde hair, and a very unique dress sense. The outfit, is, of course something the Seal recognizes, "Doctor? I didn't expect to see you again after Morrocco. You cracked the cipher, didn't you? Cole called you?"

The woman smiles, lifting her eyebrows, "I know Lincoln well, he's a good man, I mean, you gave him the keys to your partners car."

"Well," the Commander smiles, "We can't have Danny Williams driving his own car."

"From what I've gathered, he never has." Without waiting for Steve to answer her original question, she plops down next to him. "You've decided to travel the world, eh?"

"I need to take a breather, clear my head after the past ten years."

"Believe me," the Time Lady says, placing a comforting hand on the man's shoulder, "I understand, better than most. But, what if, instead of travelling the world, you could travel the stars?"

The Seal turns in his seat, facing the Doctor, "What do you mean?"

A smile graces across her face, as she asks, "Do you believe in aliens, Commander?"

"I've met aliens, Doc, in classified missions with Navy. Not that I'd ever tell Danny, or Jerry that."

The smile grows larger, "Ops like Strawberry Fields?"

The man grows alarmed, "How do you know about Strawberry Fields? That's one of the most classified ops I've ever been a part of."

"McGarrett, there's one thing you must know, I know everything. It's one of my many talents. Now, what if I told you I was an alien?"

The Seal nods, seemingly unsurprised, "Yeah, in hindsight that makes a lot of sense. Why are you telling me this?"

"Well, just so happens, I have a spaceship. What do you say," the fasten seatbelts sign lights up, just as the Time Lady finishes her statement, "It's now or never, Steve."

After a moment of consideration, the leader of Five-0 nods, slowly at first, but gradually speeding up, "Yes, ye-yes, space."

The Gallifreyan grasps the Commanders hand, racing back to the cargo hold, just as the flight attendant comes to run through the rules.

"Woah, Doc, is your spaceship on this plane? Cause, if not, shouldn't we be, I don't know, leaving the plane?"

The Doctor rolls her eyes, stopping in front of a blue box, which is about the size of a phone booth. Steve turns to look at the alien incredulously, face clearly displaying his confusion.

"This," she says, gesturing to the box, "is my spaceship!"

The Seal blinks in abject confusion, attempting to gauge the seriousness of the woman's words. Determining the veracity of her statement, he decides to vocalize his concerns. "It's kinda small," he says, as the Time Lady sends him a glare, "for the two of us I mean. I'm sure it's fine for you, but I'm not certain we'll both fit."

The Gallifreyan smirks, as she flings the doors to her precious box open. Leaning forward, the Five-0 leader glances inside the box, his eyes growing comically wide, turning to face the woman, "I take everything I just said back. This is huge. It's-It's bigger on the inside.

The blonde runs into her box, flinging her arms out wide, "Welcome, Commander, to my TARDIS."

Totally flabbergasted, the Seal just begins to ask questions, "So, you can go anywhere in space in this? How fast does it fly? Is it like the U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek and uses Warp Speed? Do you have a crew?"

Cutting the man off, the Time Lady begins to answer his questions, "It teleports, dematerializes here, and rematerializes there. No Warp Speed involved. Sometimes I travel with my friends, but I don't have a crew. And, no, Steven, it does not travel anywhere in space." Steve opens his mouth to figure out where exactly it does travel, but the Doctor continues, not giving him a chance, "It travels anywhere in space and time."

If possible, the Lieutenant Commander looks even more confused and surprised. He lifts a finger, swirling it in a circle, in a gesture which indicates the entirety of the TARDIS, "This is a time machine as well as a spaceship?" He strolls up to the console, looking at the array of buttons in front of him, "How do you pilot this thing?"

The Gallifreyan lets out a bark of laughter, "Clearly Detective Williams was right, you do have control issues. No one pilots this ship except for me...and River."

"You know Danno?"

"Yeah, I met Danny about ten years your time in a pub on the island, and in his drunken state he ranted all about his Navy Seal partner with a death wish. We'll meet up once a month, and he'll drop his problems on me. I've basically became his psychiatrist."

"Right. So you said this ship can go anywhere and anywhen, so we could, hypothetically go and pick up Danno, maybe travel with him as well?"

The Doctor smiles, taking her position at the console. "For your first trip, as you say, you can choose anywhere and anywhen, and you choose to get your partner, from Hawaii, the state that you just left?"

The Seal considers the strangeness of his request, understanding where the alien is coming from, "Yes," he confirms.

The Time Lady rushes around her ship, pushing buttons and pulling levers, the Commander studying everything she does. She pulls a final lever and the entire ship shakes and shudders.

"Do you even know how to fly this thing?"

"Oi! I can put you right back where I found you!" She shouts, pointing her finger at him.

He raises his hands in mock surrender, laughing at her statement. An elephantine wheezing fills the room, and a thud resounds shortly after.

"And there, now you're back in Hawaii. The year 2020, about ten minutes after you left. I landed just outside of Iolani Palace, Danny is inside...I think."

"Well, what are you waiting for, c'mon."

The Seal bursts through the wooden doors, the Gallifreyan right on his tail. They enter the Palace together, heading up the stairs. They go to enter the Five-0 headquarters, when they are stopped by a guard.

"Commander? I thought you had left. Either way, she can't enter without a visitor's pass." Steve rolls his eyes at the formality. He's known the guard for a decade, and yet he still insists on calling him Commander. The Doctor grabs a pass, and the two can finally enter the headquarters.

Walking through the frosted glass door, they find the team gathered around the surface table. Captain Lou Grover, Officer Tani Reyes, and Officer Junior Reigns, Sergeant Quinn Liu, Adam Noshimuri, and Lincoln Cole all turn their heads to see who the visitor is. An ecclectic chorus of, 'Boss, Sir, and Steve,' resound at the sight.

"Sir," Officer Reigns begins, "What are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you."

Before Commander McGarrett can answer his question, Danny strolls from his office, noticing the commotion from his office. "Steve? I thought I had finally gotten rid of you," he says, with a smile.

"Sorry to disappoint, Danno. I guess I just missed you...although, now that I'm here, I can't fathom why." He smiles back at his partner.

The Jersey cop is ready to question the reason his partner is back, when he notices the woman behind him. "Doctor Tegan McCrimmon? Why're you here?"

The Time Lady is about to respond to the interrogation by the Detective, but the Seal answers instead, "Don't worry, I'll explain," he says, grabbing Danny's arm, dragging him from the building.

The Gallifreyan turns to the rest of the Taskforce, "I'm sorry about that. Nice to see you again, Lincoln!" She waves as she follows the arguing partners out of the Palace.

Following them, she watches as they reach the parking lot, where the TARDIS is landed. Danny tears his arm from the Seal's grip, "Babe, what is going on with you?" He asks, his anger evident.

Now, in situations like this, the Doctor likes to treat the humans with kid gloves, but Steve has none of the training of handling humans, and blurts out, "The Doc's an alien." The detective bursts out laughing, until he realizes that the Commander is being completely serious.

"I think you've finally snapped! You said that you were leaving to clear your head. I'm beginning to think you were right. I always knew one day you'd go bananas, what with how many times you've almost got, or did get a concussion!"

Steve rolls his eyes, in hindsight he should have tried a different tactic to convince his friend. He knew that it would be difficult to convince the Jersey cop. The Gallifreyan stalks over to the Five-0 members, bickering like an old married couple. "I am an alien, Danny. My name is the Doctor and I'm from the planet of Gallifrey."

Danny looks at her, and then back at Steve. "You guys are messing with me. I don't know how, or when you met and planned all this, but you have got to be messing with me."

Steve gently leads his partner over to the TARDIS. Danny attempts to question the orgins of the box, knowing it wasn't there when he entered Iolani Palace not five minutes ago, but the Seal pushes the doors open, and the question dies on the detectives lips. His eyes widen comically and, slowly and deliberately he circles the exterior dimensions of the box. Once the Jersey cop returns to open doors, he walks in, completely speechless.

"Wow, he's finally speechless. That's something I've been trying to do for the last ten years," the Commander says, with a smile, following Detective Williams into the box.

The Time Lady is the last to enter the box, swiftly shutting the doors behind her.

"So, Danno, what d'you think?" Steve inquires.

"I-I-It's bigger...in...than out..."

"Welcome," the Doctor shouts, bounding up to the console, "to my TARDIS. That stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space! Yes, Danny, before you ask, it travels through all of time and space. So, where do you want to go?"

"Let's go to the past, see if a meteor really destroyed the dinosaurs," the detective says.

"Nah, let's head to the future, see how much everything changes," the Seal says.

Just as what happens anytime the two of them are in a vehicle, the start to argue, and, just like mostly every other time what they are arguing about is completely pointless. The Doctor starts to question if inviting these two onto her ship was a smart idea, she's also considering if banging her head against the TARDIS wall would help.
