Surf Club - The Gym
"Wait, so the hospital actually agreed for Kyle to have his physio done here instead of at the hospital?" Casey asks.
"Yeah, I explained that we're both personal trainers, so are qualified to do it, and then with a bit of persuasion they agreed it would be good. It means Kyle doesn't have to go all the way to the hospital each time he has a session, and we can do them here more often." Heath explains.
"Right, well how do you expect one of us to be free when we're all booked up with sessions or bootcamps?" Casey asks.
"Well I was thinking they could be swapped. I've been giving a list of exercises that the physiotherapist used with Kyle, so when one of us is free, we can do them with Kyle. Tyler said he can do a few days this week, so it would just be filling in the gaps with us two. It's going to be easy enough, it's not as busy here now the tourist season is passing." Heath says.
"Okay, as long as one of us is going to be available. When is his first session?" Casey asks.
"Tomorrow morning. Tyler's taking that one as you've got a boxing class and it's my day off." Heath says.
"Right, that's fine. So why doesn't Kyle have a session today?" Casey asks, not having seen his brother this morning as he'd gone to meet Denny before his shift.
"He's hanging out with Lucas, Blake and some other guy today. I think it's that mate of yours who did a runner with some chick." Heath says, not having been paying attention to names that were mentioned.
"Red?"
"Yeah, that's the one. Kyle's pretty cut up about Emily breaking up with him, so they thought they'd try to cheer him up." Heath says.
"I still think it's wrong what she did to him, after promising to never hurt him again as well. She couldn't even tell him to his face, it makes you wonder if she really did love Kyle or not." Casey says, not happy that Emily did that to their brother.
"Well Brax has lost a lot of respect for her. Turns out he was on the phone to her during the start of our family meeting the other day, sounds like she had no remorse for doing a runner instead of telling Kyle." Heath says.
"It's hardly a runner when she went away with her family." Casey says.
"Then explain how her parents went for dinner in Angelo's last night, and why Lucas saw her brother in Yabbie Creek when he went with Blake the other day." Heath says. "Unless she has another family that none of us knew about, she's hiding something."
"I can't believe she's lied again. Do you think she's cheated on Kyle again and didn't want him to find out?" Casey frowns.
"I don't know. Brax is trying to find out what's going on as he doesn't want Kyle to be lied to, although Kyle doesn't know about her family still being here and not in fact Perth like she made out." Heath says.
"He's going to be so hurt when he finds out. Just what he needs after his rough mental health before leaving hospital." Casey sighs. "But I don't think us keeping it from him is going to help either. If he thinks all of us are lying about it, it could just make things even worse."
"I know, Brax is planning on telling Kyle later on, he just went somewhere with Ricky and wasn't going to be back for a while."
"What are they hiding? Cause whatever it is, Kyle knows about it and is staying quiet about it as well." Casey says.
"I don't know. You're not going to be jealous about it are you?"
"No, I just want to know what they're hiding. Surely you're curious as well?"
"Well maybe a bit. I've been too focused on Rocco, he's been keeping us up a lot more than I ever thought he would. I knew babies needed feeding a lot, but every two to three hours is a bit ridiculous. Bianca said it will start getting better soon with it being every four to five hours roughly. I don't think that's helping my lack of sleep though." Heath says.
"You were told you wouldn't sleep properly for a long time, get used to it." Casey laughs.
"I'm going to have to cause I promised Bianca that I would be a hands on dad and we're taking it in turns doing night feeds." Heath says. "Anyway, how's things been with Denny? I haven't seen her around much lately."
"We're doing really well. She's picked more shifts up at the bait shop as we want to go travelling. Nothing too major to start with, there's a few places around Australia we want to see, then Denny wants to travel around New Zealand. Maybe in a few years we'll do the rest of the world." Casey says.
"That's why you've been picking more shifts up as well then?"
"Yep. We're thinking about making it a long trip, maybe take a few months out for travelling Australia and see how things go. It won't be yet though, we want to stay here for a while, make up on time we could have missed out on with Kyle. The boys are starting to plan loads of day trips for us all as Kyle can't drink anymore, so we don't want him to feel left out on nights out." Casey says.
"Yeah, that was mentioned at the party. I know Brax is keeping Kyle off work for a while, and he's already willing to let Kyle go out with your mates even once he's back at work." Heath says. "It's definitely put a lot into perspective for us all, things seem different now."
"I've noticed Tyler's barely leaving Kyle's side, I think it's brought the triplets closer now." Casey says.
"Yeah, Lucas has been as well. Well apart from when he's spending time with Blake." Heath says.
"Blake's pretty much moved in now, although Brax doesn't seem bothered with him staying over like he is with Denny, or even when Emily stayed over." Casey says.
"Didn't Denny stay over a lot recently?"
"Well yeah, but that's not the point. Lucas never had to have a lecture about not sneaking Blake through the window and actually telling Brax that Blake is staying over."
"We get it, Case, you're jealous Brax is going easy on him. Suck it up!" Heath laughs.
"I'm not jealous, I just don't think it's fair that Lucas doesn't get all the lectures we do." Casey says as Tyler walks in. "Didn't think you were coming in for your shift today."
"Well here I am. I'm not even late." Tyler says as he glances at his watch.
"Where've you been?" Heath asks.
"Looking for Kyle but turns out they've all gone into Yabbie Creek to meet up with a few more of their mates and watch a movie." Tyler says.
"Why do you need Kyle?" Heath asks.
"Because I bumped into someone who was looking for him and I thought it was best to get in there first." Tyler says.
"Care to give us a name? Cause last time someone was looking for Kyle, they nearly killed him." Heath says.
"Well mum's in prison now so you don't have to worry about her coming back for a very long time, even at all." Tyler says. "But you don't have to worry about anything like that happening again, I don't think they've got violent ways, they're just becoming nasty."
"Give us a name or you're fired." Heath warns, although he knew Brax would never let him fire Tyler for no reason.
"Fine, but you both have to promise me that you'll back me up if Kyle finds out I saw her first and told her to stay away from Kyle." Tyler says.
"Who would need to stay away from Kyle?" Casey frowns as he thinks to himself. "Wait, Emily?"
"Yep, she's been looking around for him to talk about the break up. She wants to get back with him and act as if this never happened." Tyler says. "Kyle's been doing great considering and if she's done this before, she'll just keep doing it. I'm not letting him get hurt by her again, it's happened too many times now."
"I'm with you on that, she had her second chance and she blew it." Heath says. "I think this is a job for Brax, he'd know what to do."
"I went up to Angelo's before coming here but they said he hadn't been in today. He wasn't at home and he isn't answering his phone either." Tyler says.
"Nah, he's being secretive along with Ricky and Kyle. They know something." Heath mutters, now becoming more curious about what it was. "He said he wasn't going to be long, so he might be back soon. I'll text him and let him know we need to talk to him."
"Okay." Tyler nods as they all get to work.
