Heath's House

"Heath, you do know we're running out of time? Your wedding is just around the corner and you are not even the slightest bit prepared!" Kyle says, glancing at Lucas and Blake who were with Rocco on the couch.

"Stop fussing you big girl, everything's fine." Heath says before stuffing some cake into his mouth.

"Well this very angry note left by Bianca says differently. If I don't get you more prepared she's going to kill me!" Kyle moans. "If I knew being the best man was this stressful, I would have let Lucas do it."

"Huh?" Lucas frowns from where he was sitting on the couch. "Me?"

"Don't worry, I don't have the energy to be explaining that to you right now." Kyle says. "I've got Brax, Tyler and Casey on errands just to try and get stuff done, but more stuff seems to be coming up."

"Right, what else has to be done that I don't already know about?" Heath asks.

"Well I think the main thing you should be worried about right now is your vows." Kyle says.

"We're not doing vows, well not in front of everyone anyway." Heath says.

"What do you mean you're not doing vows?" Kyle frowns, this being the first he'd heard of it.

"We're going to do them between just us two. I've already got it all planned, that's why I've not been doing any of that stuff." Heath says. "We both agreed to it, wanting it to be special for us. I've got a nice cabin booked in the Blue Mountains that Bianca has wanted to visit for ages, we're going to stay there for a few nights and I'm going to book a posh dinner for just the two of us."

"Where's Rocco in this plan of yours?" Kyle asks.

"The two nannies will look after him." Heath says, briefly gesturing over to Blake and Lucas.

"Have they agreed to this?"

"Oi Lucas, do you two wanna babysit Rocco for me for a few nights after the wedding?" Heath shouts over to them.

"Yeah sure, we can do that." Lucas nods.

"See." Heath grins.

"So is that going to be your honeymoon?"

"No, you idiot. We're still having a honeymoon, just a baby friendly one so Rocco can come with us." Heath says. "Bianca wants to go to New Zealand so that's what we've decided on."

"So you're going to New Zealand after the Blue Mountains?" Kyle frowns, not understanding that part.

"Yeah." Heath nods. "Now are you done with the million questions because we've got a lot of stuff to get through."

"You're the one who has been putting this stuff off!" Kyle groans.

"Okay, why don't I take over for a while. You go spend some time calming down with Rocco." Lucas smirks as he walks over to them, lightly shoving Kyle over to the couch.

"Fine." Kyle huffs, walking over to the couch just as Brax walks back in with Tyler.

"That's the suits picked up and the venue checked, everything's ready to go." Brax says.

"You sure Ricky's alright with us getting married in the church she wanted?" Heath asks.

"Yeah, she loved the beach wedding a lot more than what we would've had in the church. She suggested it, that means she's fine with it." Brax says as he hangs the suits up so they wouldn't crease. "Why's Lucas helping you with all that?"

"Bridezilla over there was getting moody." Heath says.

"I was not!" Kyle glares. "If you started taking this more seriously, there wouldn't be a problem! We're out doing things that you should be doing, so-"

"Kyle, I've got it." Brax says, not having seen Kyle this angry for a long time, and he knew it would most likely bring on a migraine for his brother. "Why don't you go to the diner to get us all some lunch?"

"Fine." Kyle nods as he picks Rocco up. "You're coming with me." He also says to Blake.

"Okay, see you soon." Blake smiles at Lucas before walking out with Kyle and Rocco.

"Heath, you need to lay off Kyle. I only agreed to you letting him be your best man if you didn't put so much pressure on him, and you've been doing the complete opposite. Start taking more control in your wedding or I'm going to stop Kyle from helping." Brax firmly says.

"Then who would be my best man?" Heath frowns.

"He will still be your best man, he just won't be helping with all this. It's your wedding, not his, so start acting like it." Brax shakes his head. "You more than anyone should know he gets headaches a lot easier after his injury, some of them have turned into migraines that have made him really ill. Start taking that into consideration when you're stressing him out like this."

"Alright, I get your point!" Heath moans. "Everything is pretty much done anyway."

"Yeah, no thanks to Kyle doing it all for you." Tyler says. "You can check the RSVPs instead of getting me to do it."

"The what?" Heath frowns.

"Just check who's coming to the wedding and call the ones who haven't replied yet, Heath." Brax shakes his head, wondering what planet Heath lived on half the time.

"Fine, I'm on it!" Heath moans, grabbing the stack of invite replies from the side of the table.

"Is Casey still not back?" Tyler asks.

"He said Denny was going with him as he wanted help picking the rings up." Lucas says with a smirk. "So basically he took her for a simple job and will be having some alone time as well."

"Has the decorations and stuff been dropped off at the church yet?" Tyler asks as he looks at the things still on the to do list.

"Bianca said her and the girls are doing that as they wanted to check the church out one last time before it's all set up." Heath says as he glances up at them. "So that's Bianca talk for having a meltdown because she didn't think I'd be good enough to want to get married in a proper place like that."

"And why would she think that?" Lucas frowns.

"Right, before any of you have a go at me as well, all I said was I didn't see the problem in having a wedding at the farm or wherever instead of somewhere like the church. Apparently it sounded like I didn't care about our wedding and would get married in a ditch if we could. Which isn't true by the way, all I meant was I didn't care what the venue was as long as she was happy." Heath rants.

"I can see why Bianca wouldn't have been happy with that." Lucas says as Heath gets back to what he was doing.

"Oh." Heath mutters.

"Don't tell me no ones coming?" Brax jokes.

"Worse." Heath says as he hands an invitation card to him.

"Who the hell invited Emily?" Brax exclaims, knowing it would be awkward for Kyle to see her after all of this time.

"I never invited her." Heath says.

"Well I certainly didn't." Brax says as he pulls his phone out to text Blake and Casey to see if either of them did it. "Actually, I don't even recognise the hand writing."

"Let's have a look." Lucas says, taking it from him. "No, it's none of ours." He says, knowing any of their handwriting if he was to see it.

"Then who would have invited her?" Heath frowns, pulling out his phone to call Bianca.

"Hey." Casey says as he walks through the door. "I got the rings. And what was that text about? I got it as I pulled up." He says to Brax.

"Someone's invited Emily to the wedding and it's not any of us." Brax says.

"Wasn't me, and I know it wasn't Blake either as we checked through each other's invitations to make sure they were right." Casey says. "I could ask Denny. She hasn't spoken to Emily in a long time but she might know something about it being on the bridal party."

"Yeah, do that." Brax says as Heath comes off the phone to Bianca.

"She doesn't know and said there's not a lot we can do if Emily has said she can come." Heath says.

"What about Kyle? He's over her, but I don't think that means he's ready to see her again." Lucas says.

"Can't we just reply to her RSVP and say the date has been changed or something?" Tyler suggests.

"If she went to the girls to check it, they would go mad. Maybe one of us should tell her to not bother coming, maybe say the best man wouldn't come if she turned up." Heath says, glancing at Brax.

"I'm not getting in the doghouse with Ricky over this. Maybe she won't bother turning up knowing none of us like her anymore." Brax says. "Lucas can tell Kyle what's happened, and Denny might be able to persuade her to not come."

"I'll talk to Kyle." Lucas nods.

"Don't drag me or my girlfriend into this." Casey mutters as they try to think of something better before Kyle comes back.
