Glitch Wakko's Backstory

(Btw, I'm copyrighting Glitch Wakko so please tell me if you're using him in a fic or video. THX!)

It was a nice day in Burbank, when a familiar dark-colored fox was stirring up some mischief that would lead to tragedy. "I'll make you pay, Warner… I swear on my own immortal life I will." The dark colored fox said. Her lackeys had been executed, so South decided to get some revenge. She messed with code in their universe until all it took was one little button to end it. She wasn't worried, however. She simply was going to jump to a timeline in which she died and her lackeys were put back in the looney bin. Simple as that.

As she waited for the chance to strike, she decided to have a little… fun… With Wakko's dreams. "See you soon, Warner." She said with a devious tone in her voice before disappearing into the shadows of the trees.

Meanwhile…

Wakko had gotten up after having a horrible nightmare once again. He looked at the clock and noted what time it was. '3:25… I'm sleeping longer, at least.' He then got a glass of water, and went back to sleep. 'Horrible nightmares, here I come…' Wakko thought before drifting off to sleep.

Wakko awoke in a black void, with no indication of how he got here or why. 'Ow… why does my head hurt so badly? Where am I? What happened? Why do I feel… Sad?' Wakko trailed off after wiping black goop off of his face. "Huh? Why is there goop on my face? Wait, is that… Ink? Why is there ink on my face? What's going on!?" Wakko bellowed before clutching his hat in pain. He felt like he had been crying for hours. But why? Why was he crying? That question rang above all the others, even where he was or how he got here. 'Why am I sad? Why? I should know this, it's my emotions, after all.'

Just then, a familiar voice spoke. "Oh, you'll know in good time." Wakko froze in shock and fear. Finally, he managed to speak. "N-no… it c-can't be…" A loud chuckle rang through the void before the voice spoke. "Oh, but it can. And it is. Not very pleased to see you again, Warner. Or should I call my favorite toy by its nickname?" The voice responded. "D-don't you dare…" Wakko responded, a hint of anger in his voice. "Aww, what's wrong Wakky? Do you not like your nickname? Too bad. You're my toy, remember? And I'm the one…" Strings then wrapped around Wakko's arms in a puppet-like fashion. "Pulling the strings." She then made Wakko dance, jump and spin in a rather painful manner. "Ow! Hey, cut it out! That hurts!" Wakko yelped. The voice seemed to take pleasure in his pain, however. Once the voice got bored of Wakko's yelps of pain, it decided to up the ante a bit. "Well, maybe this is better!" The voice then started choking Wakko with the strings while pop goes the weasel plays. "Half a pound of truepenny rice, half a pound of treacle. That's the way the money goes, Pop goes the weasel. Up and down the City road, In and out the Eagle, That's the way the money goes, pop goes the weasel." The voice sung before Wakko suffocated.

"AAAHHH!" Wakko shot awake before realizing he was in his bed. 'I'm… alive? But it felt so real…' Of course, this woke up his siblings. "W-Wakko!? Are you okay!? What's wrong!?" Yakko instantly bolted up the ladder and onto his brother's bed. Wakko sat up curled into a ball crying softly. He looked up a little at the sound of his worried brother's voice. "Y-Yakko? Is t-that you?" Wakko said softly. "Yeah, it's me, baby bro. Did you have another nightmare?" Yakko asked, trying to calm his brother down. All Wakko did was nod in response. Dot had got up, and after hearing Wakko's soft sobbing into Yakko's chest, she had climbed down and joined them in the cuddling. "Wakko? Are you ok? You haven't woken up screaming like that in days. Are we back to the screaming nightmares again?" Dot asked softly. Wakko, his sobs softening, shook his head no. Dot cuddling up next to Wakko then asked "Wanna talk about it?" Wakko usually told them about his nightmares if they asked, but this time was different. He shook his head no once again. He didn't want them to worry that he was getting worse. He thought it was just a random nightmare, and that he would go back to the usual bad dreams later. Tonight, however, his siblings would all cuddle him to sleep. That was the first night in weeks that he had good dreams.

~Chapter 1~

(I was trying to make this a one-shot, but I had to expand because there's a deeper lore and ending to this story. So stay tuned, and please review so I know you like this alternate universe. And for new readers who come across this, I HEAVILY recommend you read "The Fox Trail" so you know why Wakko's having nightmares. This takes place a few months after the fox trail, just so you know. Anyway, please review and as always, goodnight everybody!)
