Chapter 10: The Date
Suki POV
After the war, I went back to Kyoshi Island. Sokka decided to join me and help train the girls with the sword. It was nice to have him around and help me train the girls. I'm going to ask him on a date because we deserve to have time for ourselves.
I walked to the Kyoshi Warrior training ground and saw Sokka wearing our uniform. He is so sexy in our uniform. I saw Sokka training our youngest member, Teruki, on welding the sword properly. Maybe Sokka could be a good father, once we have settled.
"Thank you for helping out with my training. By the way, are you going to take Mrs. Suki on a date?" Teruki said adorably.
"Careful She might come out of nowhere and sneak up on me. Yes, I'm planning on taking her on a date because you know she is the most awesome girl in the world. I just don't know where to take her because she deserves the best. Say, want to give Uncle Sokka some good suggestions to go". Sokka said suggestively.
"Uhh, you know she's right behind you right," Teruki said cheerfully.
"What where?" Sokka said as he turns and faces me.
"I heard everything Sokka, and yes I will go on a date with you. By the way, we can go to the Unagi Fountain. Sokka do you want to pick a place to eat." I said confidently.
"Ooh, we can eat sushi after sunset. Again, I wanted to ask you in such a cool way, but I'm happy you want to go on the date." Sokka said in a classic Sokka tone that I grew to love.
"When they see you at night and Sokka, you look mighty fine in that Kyoshi uniform," I said in a flirtatious tone. Man, I love seeing Sokka being all blushing and adorable.
"All right see you tonight, and I can't wait to show an awesome time with Sokka The Great," Sokka said cockily.
Later that evening
I wear a traditional earth kingdom dress with my hair down, and Sokka wears the robes of the Water Tribe. We went to a local sushi joint in the middle of Kyoshi Island.
"Man, this sushi is good. Who knows maybe I should tell our friends about this. Suki, you are so lucky to be surrounded by good food." Sokka said in an excitable tone as he was busy stuffing his face in.
"You sure do like food a lot. I can't believe I'm asking this but do you see yourself spend the rest of your life on this island. I know it's selfish of me to ask because you might be the new chief of the Southern Water Tribe and you should probably help your dad and Katara on managing the tribe." I said in an uncertain tone.
"Maybe there is a way I could be the new chief and still be at this island. I was thinking that maybe the Kyoshi Island and The Southern Water Tribe could merge. I mean think about it, the Tribe can help the Kyoshi Islanders with gathering food because the Tribe are full of good fishermen and we can provide more weapons to the island, while the Tribe can get more crops from this island and a safe environment to start-up schools so that kids get an education." Sokka said in an excitable tone that makes it sounds like he is a mad genius.
"That sounds like a good idea because we need help with getting food from the sea and we kind of do need a navy. I'm just worried that your dad and Oyaji might disapprove of the idea because you know traditions. Oyaji is like a father to me, so maybe I could convince him to do it. You could convince your father to go through this crazy idea. Maybe we should host an event that will have the South Tribe and Kyoshi Island residents meet each other and trade customs. This s just an idea." I said trying to brainstorm ideas.
"We can try that, but for now we should just dance. You looked beautiful Suki, but then again you are always beautiful no matter what you wear. We can figure it together because we are both smart. I hope our idea can work, it could because Kyoshi Island and The Southern Water Tribe never have recorded animosity with each other. So Lady Suki, may I have this dance." Sokka said confidently.
"You can Mister Sokka," I said in a seductive tone, as we slow dance right near the Unagi Pond at the full moon. I hold Sokka in my arms and begin kissing him. He kissed back, and I'm so happy that he lets me hold him instead of another way around. We begin going back to our shared home as we hold each other hands.
As we are getting closer to the streets, I hear Oyaji yell" Get out of this Island, you misfits."
"Oh come one, we need to have a place to stay." The young boy with rags and pants
"It's all right SmellerBee forget it, it was a waste of time." A guy with hooked swords and grass at his mouth said.
"Jet is that you?" Sokka said as if he saw a ghost. Sokka seems to have a history with him.
