Chapter 14- Bumi's Last Stand
Long Feng Pov
That foolish king thinks he can take me, the Great Long Feng. I shoot my rock cuffs on that insufferable odd man, but somehow, he jumps out of the way. Bumi took out crystal from his hand and shoot it at me, I dodge of course. The crystals just kept on following me even I kept on dodging them, so I use the power of Pan to stop the crystals from moving. Bumi was fast enough to get behind me, but the fool didn't realize I could bend the metal in his cuff. I tie his hands together with his cuffs, I never know that you can bend metal. The old geezer keep continuing to earth bend with his feet, has he lost what little sanity he has, he thinks that his feet are strong enough to defeat me. I use the crystal I caught in the air and decided to send the crystals toward both of his legs.
"Ahh my legs, I can't move anymore. Long Feng, you have defeated me. I have gotten weaker or that spirit inside you was too strong. Are you going to kill me now?" Bumi said in a sorrowful tone.
"No, I going to execute you in front of your people. How the mighty has fallen, I remember you took back your city from the Fire Nation during the Day of Black Sun. I have beaten you only in 30 minutes, not even the Avatar can stop my conquest. I killed that pathetic puppet with that ridiculous bear. You never have stood a chance against me, soon your precious Omashu will be a part of my kingdom." I said in a proud tone.
"I wouldn't count on that Long Feng. You may have defeated me, but there is an earth bender that has a greater potential than I have to stop you. Her name is Toph Beifong, I've heard that she invented metal bending." Bumi said in an excited tone
"You fool, I have defeated you with metal bending and using those crystals against you. I've perfected metal bending. Tsk I'm not threatened by that blind girl, after all, I have her parents. I can make him do what I pleased by threatening to kill the Beifongs. Nothing can stop me." I said while laughing.
"I can't believe I'm trapped here and have to listen to your boasting. Your arrogance will be your downfall, Long Feng. You better not rely upon too much of that spirit power or else it will kill you." Bumi said in a bored tone. How dare he make light of his situation. I will kill him in front of his people.
The Dai Lee agent drag in a comatose Water Tribe boy in front of the throne room, "I find the one that they called Amon. This young juvenile confessed that he was the one that kill some of our men. He claims that he's multiple people in one body, I think it's best to keep in captive, just to be safe."
"I don't have time with petty nuisance about multiple people in a body. Bring in the Beifongs because we are going to Omashu to conquer it, my empire requires lots of lands." I said with annoyance. I heard of rumors of a masked man who can control people's bodies, but I don't simply believe it.
"But sir, we cannot take this lightly. If we don't take care of the problem now, he could be one of the pieces of our downfall." The Dai Lee agent said named Azim.
"If you are concerned with how much of a threat this Amon is, then you should take him with us to Omashu. Why is this boy sleeping on the floor anyway? Water Tribe people are the most uncultured swine in the entire world. Very well, I guess carried him to the carts along with the Beifongs. My plan must be complete no matter the cost." I said urgently
"Understood Sir, but we also need to be concerned with the vigilante who goes by the name of the Owl. It is said that person has advanced technology that can fight against the best of benders. We must be very conscious of people like Amon and the Owl." Azim said anxiously as he carries the boy bridal style. I can't believe Azim actually carry the boy in bridal style, I guess it can't be helped.
'Fine, do whatever it takes to capture The Owl. For now, Just get the cart ready to take us to Omashu. is that understood?" I said in a commanding tone.
"Yes, Earth King Long Feng. I will have the other agents prepare the carts for our journey to Omashu, and I will put Amon and the Beifongs in those carts. I shall put Bumi in the cart as well." Azim said
"Excellent, my agents, soon my conquest with be complete," I said in a gratify tone. I can't spare time on these vigilantes like Amon and the Owl to get in the way of my plans.
