Did You Know? TPOT and its characters do not belong to me.
Back on the ground, Fries and Bell seem disapproving.
"What, are you serious?!" yells Fries.
"We start this oh-so stable competition, and you decide to implement the unnecessary rule that players can switch teams?!" he adds.
"That's it. Two's not good at hosting. Let's beat this dump."
"Sounds good to me." Bell says.
To return his contestants, Two rushes over to them with a pair of flat Lego-like bricks and splits them using his powers.
"Okay, I guess we can say for a little while longer." says Bell begrudgingly.
"But don't expect us to enjoy it!" Fries adds.
"This morning was stressful, I can say that. But it's only about to get more stressful because it's time for the second contest!"
"Already, really? I just hope you don't muck up this challenge like you did the last one." Eraser complains.
You see that? He said "muck up," with an M.
"This one's complicated, so listen up! You too, viewers!"
For the second contest, the contestants will be sent to a gray area of exactly 100 portals. Once they enter a portal, their task is to find their way back to the grasslands as quickly as possible. All team members must make it for the team to be safe. Some universes have portals that lead to other alternate universes. And once you enter a portal, it will disappear, meaning you can't go back the way you came. NO DYING ALLOWED. The team that fails to get all their members will be up for elimination.
"You got all that?"
The contestants nod their heads in agreement.
"Great! we'll be sending teams based on the order they placed last time. So, Are You Okay!"
The team answers "yes" thinking the host was asking them how they felt. Eraser responds negatively.
Two pulls open a zipper that wasn't visible before. They kick the octet into the zipper, leading them to said gray area.
Golf Ball, being the team leader, claimed she had a formula for success.
"The team will split into 4 subteams of 2. Them being Tennis Ball & I, Pen & Eraser, Fries & Puffball, and Black Hole & I."
"Seriously, you're pairing me up with him?!" Black Hole complained.
"Trust me, I'm not doing cartwheels about it either." TV stated using old clips from BFDI.
"So it's settled!"
The four pairs hop into four random portals.
"And the next three teams!"
The host kicks The S!, team8s, and Just Not, in that order, into the void.
Winner, Coiny and Naily: Our teams are gonna stick together!
The three teams enter three different portals.
"And the other two!"
The algebralien punts The Strongest Team on Earth and Death P.A.C.T. Again into the void, this time at once!
Basketball walks in Grassy's direction, until he interrupts.
"Grassy wants to go with the others, so that Snowball and Basketball can become friends!"
The camera shifts over to Snowball.
"With HIM?!"
Basketball protests, "I know I worked with him last episode, but the guy just doesn't listen! And I'm sure he has a prejudice against armless people.
Insert compilation of Snowball being mean to armless people
"Face it, Grassy. Snowball is a jerk with a capital J."
Enter Snowball.
"Hey, guys. I heard you say my name, and I figured you needed a big, strong guy with arms to protect you."
"Yes, Snowball. That's exactly what I need." Basketball says with her teeth clenched.
"Let's all just go into the same portal." Tree declares.
"Wait, I forgot my snack!" says Marker.
"Just get in the portal!" Remote yells!
The now 5 members of Death P.A.C.T. Again all jump into one portal. Conveniently, that one portal was all they needed to be safe.
"Congratulations! Death P.A.C.T. Again, you're the first team safe!
Sorry this chapter took so long, guys. Don't forget, you can still recommend characters using the comments, they'll be needed! Next chapter is about Pen, Eraser, and two others.
