Gamelover41592: Yep, he's now here.

Omni Spectator (Guest): They really don't know what to think about him.

Alright, time for the next trial, namely Lana's! And since Kitty has the water type starter, she gets to do the Water Trial.

Kitty slowly walked towards Brooklet Hill. Emma had gone off to train a little more, as more then half her current team was at a type disadvantage, so Kitty had gone ahead.

"Hello, I'm Lana," The Trial Captain, a younger blue haired girl, greeted her as she walked towards the gate. "I serve as the captain of Brooklet Hill. So, trial-goer...will you be attempting my Trial?"

"Hit me with your best shot!" Kitty declared.

"Then I will explain the trial to you," Lana began. "My particular Trial is this: I want you to herd the Pokémon found in the pools of Brooklet Hill, driving them downstream to draw out the Totem Pokémon. If I might be so blunt, they are Wishiwashi. It's Wishiwashi I want you to herd."

"Uh...do I have to swim?" Kitty asked. She was a strong swimmer, but that was not going to be fun.

"Of course you don't!" Lana assured her. "I have a lovely gift to help you." She then registered Lapras in Kitty's Ride Pager. "If you climb atop Lapras there, you will be able to travel over bodies of water. Now you'll be able to help drive those Pokémon downstream for me! So, if you're ready, please follow me this way." Lana walked into the Trial zone, with Kitty following her close behind them.

"So this is where the Wishiwashi are?" Kitty asked once they arrived at the water.

"I'm sorry...what was your name?" Lana asked, almost sounding ashamed that she didn't know the name of one of the professor's daughters.

"I'm Kitty!" Kitty replied. "And it's totally fine!"

Lana nodded. " Of course! It's such a lovely name!"

"Aw, thanks!" Kitty said, blushing. Lana then turned to face the water.

"Now, then. Do you see those two splashes over there?" She asked. Kitty turned to see the water. The splashes weren't hard to miss. "I am thinking that at least one of them might contain a Wishiwashi. In fact, it's likely both might. Don't you agree?"

"I guess?" Kitty offered. It was Lana's Trial after all.

"Would you try to drive them downstream with a little help from Lapras?" Lana asked, making completely sure that Kitty was ready.

"I'm ready!" Kitty declared. Using the Ride Pager, she quickly summoned Lapras. It came with a bathing suit for her to change into. She hopped on Lapras and set off. The first hole she found had a Dewpider rather then what she wanted, so Kitty had to take it down. Once she did find the Wishiwashi she was looking for, Kitty noticed that it had begun to rain. She was fine, but she had a feeling that it would only make things harder.

"C-c-come out!" The rain had only gotten harder and the swimsuit that came with the Ride Pager was not at all covering. Needless to say, Kitty was FREEZING by the time she reached the Totem Pokémon. And she already had an idea of what she was fighting. She watched as all the Wishiwashi gathered together. Suddenly, they burst from the water in their schooled form. Kitty steeled her nerves. She was ready to go!

"WASHI!" And clearly, so was Wishiwashi. Kitty grunted. She had no type advantages on any of her Pokémon, so she was in for a struggle.

"Brionne! Let's do this!" With a happy cry, Brionne came out. "Now, Disarming Voice!"

"Bri…..ONNE!" The attack landed, but it wasn't even close to taking down the Wishiwashi.

"Washi!" It snapped, launching a Water Gun attack. Kitty knew that she wasn't worried. Most types resisted themselves after all.

"Again!" Kitty called out. Again and again, the Wishiwashi and Brionne volleyed attacks at each other. Finally, Brionne landed a critical ice beam, causing the Wishiwashi to faint and scatter. "FINALLY!" The rain then stopped. "Oh NOW the rain stops?!"

"I...I must say that I find myself at an impasse here." Lana admitted as Kitty returned. "All the Wishiwashi that I so diligently trained up were defeated, and that's very frustrating...but of course, I cannot let your completion of my Trial go uncelebrated. You were amazing, Kitty. Truly amazing. Please take this." She then handed Kitty a Waterium Z. "You know what that is, don't you?"

"Of course!" Kitty replied. Finally she had something she could use for a leg up!

"Watch, this is how you use Waterium Z," Lana began. Kitty watched her perform the dance needed to use the Z-Move. "And that's not all I can offer you. Here. This is a Lana original. One of my own handmade fishing rods."

"Sweet!" Kitty cheered as she took the rod with a cheer.

"By the way...did you know I once reeled in a red Gyarados?" Lana bragged.

"REALLY!?" Kitty exclaimed. She knew that a red Gyarados was rare.

"Well, what do you think?" Lana asked as she turned away from Kitty, who couldn't see her laughing. "You did a fine job today and I look forward to seeing how your sister does."

Emma grumbled angrily as she did her best to ring the water out of her hair. That Trial was not designed for her team. At all. Charjabug basically had to carry them through the Trial.

"So how did go?" Kitty asked. Emma managed to give her a smile, in spite of how annoyed she was.

"It...was okay," She lied. "How were things on your end?"

"Honestly, same with me," Kitty replied as they headed towards the Pokémon Center. "Hey, I actually wanted to ask you about something,"

"Ask away,"

"Have you noticed all the weird stuff happening around us?" Kitty asked. "Like, first Team Skull pops up, then Nebby and Lillie, then the Ultra Recon people, and now that Gladion weirdo."

"I...didn't actually," Emma admitted. "But...now that you mention it, it is pretty weird."

"Maybe it's destiny!" Kitty declared as she pulled Emma close to her. "Think about it Em! Us! The heroes of Alola!"

Emma gave a real smile at her sister's antics. "Maybe so, but let's focus on our journey."

Short one today, I know. There just wasn't a lot to write about. Next one will be longer.
