Every year 1 in 5 people go missing for unknown reasons, only to be found dead weeks later with no idea what killed them. At least that's all the humans know, with no idea what is standing right in front of them. That's what happened to these poor people only a few minutes ago when a woman came to them for help. She claimed her car broke down only a few miles up the road and need gas, and thanks to her beauty the men were then happy to help her. They drove back to the broke down car only to find that there was no car but two dead bodies sitting on the side of the road. They start to drive off when the woman without a second thought dug her teeth into the man who was driving cause him to drive into a tree. The other man got out of the car screaming for help only to come face to face with a man, who bite the man ripping off the skin. That's when the others came out and started drinking the blood of the two men when a small child sat up in the back seat crying for his dad. The fear in his eyes when the woman pulled him from the car, just to throw him to those monsters to drink his blood killing him. The only thing that could be heard was the cries of the 3 as they slowly die from the blood loss.

There I was sitting up in a tree not far from the scene watching them kill the humans without stopping. How I wish someone would stop this madness but I was not about to go against maria. She was a strength learned, never backing down from a fight, with her beauty she could get almost anyone to do what she said. She looked around till her sweet honey-like voice called out "shadow," which caused me to get up and off the tree, dropping down in front of her. It's the name she gave me after finding out that I could hide in the shadows with no trace of finding me. Even the most skilled of our kind would never know I was close by till it was too late and they were dead. I think that's was the only reason she keeps me around anyway, she doesn't like useless pets. Maria's blood-red eyes looked into mine, "Where have you been," she asked as if she had no idea I was sitting close by her. I was never allowed to be more than a few feet away unless said otherwise. "I was sitting in the tree waiting on your next set of orders to be given out," I said looking back into her eyes till her second in command came up to us, "Maria, we have found what you have been looking for," he said as she put her arms around him. Her eyes light up like the stars in the sky when she heard the news as if it was the best thing that could ever happen to her. She waved her hand at me then made her way over to her two sisters with her pet following close behind leaving me to do as I pleased. I just went back to my tree to watch the night sky till it was time to move again, and get closer to what she was after. The sun started to rise when we started to head to some little town by the name of Forks.

She was even happier when we stopped in a city not even an hour away from Forks, where we meet a woman by the name of victoria who wanted to help us take down a coven that lived in forks. She claimed her soul mate was killed by one of them, and she tried to take revenge but was almost killed herself. Maria was more than happy to take the help from her and was willing to let her kill the one that hurt her so deeply when she brought something up that made maria smile with a look of death to whatever was told to her. That's when she looked at her pet and told him something before walking over to one of her sisters to tell them. Something inside me knew then that whatever they were talking about was not good and by the way, maria keep it quiet told me that I was going to hate what she had planned for me to do. It felt like hours when she finally called out for me to come to her. Like that, I went to her ready to do as she said not questioning her in any way. Victoria looked at maria then over at me with a confused look on her face, "Why call this child over here," she asked with a look of anger on her face. Maria just smiled at her then looked at me, "Shadow, my sweet shadow I have a job for you to do," she said as she put her arms around me and laid her head on my shoulder. I stood there not moving or even saying a thing knowing she would be mad if I was to speak when she was talking, "I want you to go to Forks and look for the one they call Renesmee, then report back to me with info about her," maria told me as she pulled away from me, then walked out the door.

As the sun started to set I started my way to Forks on the lookout for the one called Renesmee. With darkness all around me, I found myself in the enters of the small unknown town of Forks.
