So this chapter is gonna be a little shorter, but I think you'll still enjoy it. After all, Kitty's got some celebrating to do!

When Kitty got back to Iki Town, she was blown away by just how people had shown up. All the captains, all the kahunas, the elite four, Hau, Lillie! And of course, Emma, Kukui and Burnet. Just about the only friend she had made on the journey who wasn't present was Gladion and Kitty had a feeling that this wasn't his style anyways. Everyone was cheering and laughing. Finally, Hala brought her up on the stage.

The older man let out a hearty chuckle before turning back to the crowd with Kitty's arm raised in the air. "Here she is! The first Pokémon League Champion from Alola!" The crowd went wild yet again. "This calls for celebration, so let's get to it!" With yet another cheer, Kitty returned to the crowd. She smirked when she saw Gladion hiding behind a tree, watching everything from afar. She debated dragging him over to join the fun, but decided against it. If he didn't want to come, it was his choice.

"Hey, I don't know if you heard, but Guzma's breaking up Team Skull!" Emma revealed to her younger sister.

"Really?!" Kitty exclaimed. "I guess everyone's learned something from our little adventure."

"And Lillie told me that Lusamine wants me to start working for the Aether Foundation!" Emma excitedly revealed.

"Told you you'd get there some day," Kitty said with a smirk. Emma just pulled her little sister into a bearhug.

"Kitty, Emma said that all the Tapus came out to see you become the first champion! Is that true?" Hau asked. Kitty just nodded. "That is amazing! If all the Tapus came to see, you must really be the best trainer in all of Alola!"

The party lasted well into the night, complete with fireworks. Kitty had never seen Emma so smiley in her life.

"Look at this! Everyone's so fired up. Woo!" Kukui cheered once the fireworks ended. "We've got the birth of Alola's strongest ever Trainer to celebrate, after all!"

"I may have lost, but I'm gonna keep working hard to be totally in sync with my partners and pull out my Pokémon's full power! And THEN...I'm coming for you, champion Kitty!" Hau declared.

"I'm looking forward to it, Hau!" Kitty proudly replied.

"Kitty!" Kukui shook his head with a smile. "Sorry! I mean, Champion!"

Kitty laughed. "Dad, you can use my real name!"

Kukui just smiled. "I'm sure everyone here wants to see your partners, too! Come on and show us those partners that were there for so many of your discoveries, new experiences, and adventures on your island challenge!"

Burnet then stepped forward. "Mm-hmm! Let's see how your team has come along!"

"Okay!" Kitty declared. "Let's do this! Everyone stand back!" First came Primarina, then Ribombee, Bewear, Lycanroc, Tsareena and finally Mimikyu. All of the Pokémon proudly let out cries as they began to prance around, causing the crowd to cheer.

"So what did you want to show me?" Emma asked. As the party wound down, Lillie had told Emma she wanted to show her something. Lillie didn't have to answer, as when they arrived at the bridge, Solgaleo was waiting there. "Nebby…"

Lillie walked next to the sun beast, causing it to give a happy cry. "Emma...I...I've been wanting to thank you and Kitty for saving Nebby that day."

"It was nothing," Emma said with a shrug.

Lillie then turned back to Nebby. "Nebby...you came here from very far away, didn't you?" Nebby let out a cry, as if to reply. "I'm glad that I could take you with me...that we got to experience that journey together." She then turned back to Emma. "Emma, I know this may be sudden, but I hope you will consider what I ask of you."

"Let me hear it," Emma replied.

"I want to entrust Nebby to you," Lillie replied. Emma's eyes went wide. "I think Nebby should be with Necrozma. From what I've heard, Necrozma would not suffer as much or ache for the light if it can remain close to Nebby….And I think it'd be best...if they both stayed together with you, Emma. I've thought a lot about it and that's what I decided, so...please...I want you to face Nebby as only a trainer can. And I want you to give it a ball to call home."

Emma nodded. "Okay. I'll do it." She then walked to Solgaleo, who roared. "Incineroar! Let's go!"'

"ROAR!" Incineroar roared back as it landed on the ground.

"Flare Blitz!" Emma ordered, causing Incineroar to rush forward, covered in flame. Solgaleo flinched, but wasn't ready to give up. Launching forward, it attacked with a Zen Headbutt. Incineroar barely flinched. "Okay, now Darkest Lariat!" Yet again, the attack landed. This time, Nebby just nodded. Emma pulled out her Master Ball. Nebby deserved the best. She slowly walked over it. Nebby tapped the ball and let itself get sucked in.

"Solgaleo…" Lillie trailed off. "No...Nebby. Nebby, you belong with Emma now. She's been the one to raise you. Just like any parent should raise their child. She will be your mother now. Nebby...you have brought your light to everyone. And...I know that you will be able to keep everyone smiling and happy, Emma. Thank you for taking care of Nebby for me. Nebby...I'm going to become stronger! I swear I will! Now it will be your turn to watch over me as I grow, OK? Please watch me…"

"Lillie...when you are ready, you can feel free to take Nebby back," Emma replied.

Lillie smiled. "And this, Emma...Nebby was holding it. Please use it with care." She then handed Emma a Z-Crystal before walking off

"Thank you, Lillie." Emma replied as she followed her friend.
