Nora wakes up to Curie's hand around her waist.
She feels a familiar sharp pain across her lower back and stomach.
Silently cursing, she realises that she hasn't dealt with these pains since a year before Sean was born.
Curie now awake notices the grimace on Nora's face asks what's wrong.
Nora explains that this was a pre-existing ovarian issue and asks in her hoarse voice if there is some med-x around.
Curie examines Nora again first before injecting her with the pain medication.
Nora curls up on top of the bed and silently mopes on the bed as Curie grabs some hot rags and places them around Nora's stomach, lower back and neck. Nora dozes off again as Curie absent-mindedly draws circles on Nora's exposed arm. Noticing how it calms her, she continues to do it until Nora is completely asleep.
She pulls a blanket over Nora lovingly and takes Dogmeat outside to do his business while she helps the other citizens around Sanctuary.
Nora wakes up several hours later groggy, she sits up to find several rations of water on her bedside table and a bottle of Nuka Cola.
She spots Curie coming towards her with tray that is carrying a bowl of Instamash and some warm compresses.
Nora rubs the sleep out of her eyes and drinks some water as Curie gently places a compress on Nora's stomach.
She then insists that Nora eats the Instamash and takes away the now cold rags from the bed.
Nora eats the food and drinks some more water before allowing Dogmeat to curl up next to her.
She lazily strokes his ears as the dishes get taken away by Codsworth who has noticed that his mistress hasn't gotten up just yet.
Noticing the reminents of medications and the warm compress he realises what is going on and he offers to make some chicken noodle soup for later that night.
Nora accepts the offer and decides to join MacCready on the couch, He's just sitting on the couch with his legs propped up on a nearby ottoman. Nora abandons the bed and changes into some comfy slacks and a loose shirt and joins MacCready on the couch. They just cuddle up together like best friends do as Piper decides to read aloud to them from a nearby book. Piper stopping by to keep Nora and MacCready company while Curie helps out some of the others.
Dogmeat decides to patrol the Sanctuary grounds with the guard dogs, giving his mistress a quick lick on her hand before leaving.
