Graduation Day ( part 2 )

One thing we can all agree to hate with every fiber of our being, the sound of an alarm going off during a peaceful sleep. It also didn't help that I only got a few hours of sleep thanks to my nightly escapades as Spider-Man, which my cover has been somewhat blown thanks to the news copter catching a glimpse of me and having it shown to every t.v. across the city, possibly the country. As I turned off my alarm I groggily got out of bed and grabbed a clean set of clothes as I went to take a shower. The warm water did wonders for me as my sleepiness started wearing off as I finally woke up.

Carlos: ( Today's the day, after graduation I have a big decision to make. Hopefully things go smoothly without any surprises. )

After drying off I dressed in my best clothes as I walked back to my room, I turned on my phone and checked the news to see if my adventure made the front page.

Carlos: ( sigh ) Should have seen that coming.

The article read:

" Late Night Heist: Does a Spider Crawl Among Us? "

The article basically covered the heist caused by those jewelry thieves with enough evidence to connect them to the recent robberies that have taken place in parts of the city. However the main highlight was about Spider-Man making his debut, while it did bother me to know that people knew I was real, the bigger problem ( for me at least ) was one very important detail.

Carlos: ( Oh come on! They forgot the hyphen between Spider and Man! )

I know it might seem a bit petty to get upset about a typing error, but I couldn't help it.

Carlos: ( Maybe I should look for someone to be my personal biographer, at least that way they can properly write the name. )

After a few minutes I left to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself, Jonathan and mom. 30 minutes later and I heard both of them walking into the kitchen, they were both dressed in their best clothes to help commemorate today's occasion.

Carlos: Morning Jonathan. Morning Mom.

Mom: Good morning, I thought you were going to let me make breakfast this morning.

Carlos: I was but I woke up early, now eat up cuz we have a big day ahead of us.

As we ate I kept thinking about how today was going to play out, I was pretty nervous since this was a big deal and I was very sure that someone was going to mess with me again today. After putting the dishes away Jonathan and I went back to our rooms to get our cap and gowns as well as a few other things for our graduation which included these tassels which showed that we both made the honor roll at our schools as well as my class ring.

We then began the long drive to one of the colleges outside the city where both of our schools were holding the event. As we relaxed I was busy watching some news clips on my phone that I found on YouTube about last nights car chase.

Reporter: Police are still looking for any information about the mysterious individual dressed as Spider-Man who was involved in the apprehension of the criminals who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen jewelry. Citizens are advised to notify their local police department immediately...

Carlos: ( At least this news station remembered the hyphen. Still though, I can't believe I let myself get caught like that. )

I had enough of the news for one morning so I decided to just close my eyes as I listened to my music for a while. After 90 minutes we finally made it to the parking lot which was filled to the brim with other families who came to join us for graduation day. This is where the three of us had to split up, while mom went to the stands to find a good spot to watch the ceremony both Jonathan and I headed to our separate groups to prepare as we left in opposite directions.

It was here that I put on the rest of my attire for today and mingled ( or at least I tried to ) with my classmates. Luckily for me and Jonathan we didn't have to worry about our appearance since we quickly learned when we came back that we looked just like how we used to. Some gave me a congratulations while they mostly ignored me so I had no choice but to hang out in a corner of the hallway by myself. Again.

Carlos: ( This stinks, too bad my only friends graduated last year or else I would have people to actually talk with. )

As I wallowed in self loathing I felt my spider sense go off, my accelerated vision kicked in as my perception of the world around me slowed down as I saw a football heading towards my face. I could also see the jerk who threw it at me on purpose who was none other than my bully who had been picking on me since kindergarten.

Carlos: ( Seriously, we're graduating in a couple of minutes and he doesn't have anything better to do? )

At this point I had two options:

1) Stop him by grabbing the ball before it hits me.

Or

2) Let it hit me to preserve my identity.

As much as I would love to see the look on his face when I catch the ball without even looking I decided to keep up the act that I wasn't anything special. I knew I didn't have to put up with any more of this but now that people were aware of a real life Spider-Man I needed to keep my identity secret unless I wanted people to call the cops under the suspicion of who I was. I knew I could fake ignorance if needed but one look at my wrists would easily show the spinnerets before questions were being asked.

Carlos: ( I better not regret this. )

I closed my eyes as I felt the ball hitting me, to make the scene more believable I acted as though the force from the throw was enough to knock me down hard. Everyone began laughing at me as I heard people calling me various names, the jerk who threw it at me made several comments about how much of a loser I was and that was the reason why I would never get a girlfriend or why I wasn't getting into a good college with an athletic scholarship like him. He walked away with this grandiose look on his face while others gave him hi-fives and kept praising him, some of the girls even considered the possibility that he might even be Spider-Man from last night's news since he was so athletic and in their opinion dreamy.

Carlos: ( Bunch of idiots, who honestly thinks picking on people is still cool? )

As I got up I walked away from everyone so I could be alone, I never really liked this school because people either ignored me or kept putting me down. The only solace I had was the fact there were at least a few good people in this school who were actually nice to me, such as the friends who already graduated and my teachers. A few times my mom asked me why I didn't want to transfer to a different school, with the grades I had I could even apply to the private school Jonathan attended but I wanted to show them that no matter what they did to me I would still graduate with my head held high. I know I was being stubborn but I wanted to prove this to myself more than anyone else, so I put up with the insults and the various beatings ( even after coming back with my spider powers ) all so I could show these jerks that they wouldn't break me.

A few minutes later we heard an announcement about the ceremony about to start so we took our places as we began making our way to the main area. The room where the ceremony was taking place was huge, it reminded me of the coliseum when Jonathan and I took part in that exhibition match during the tournament only slightly smaller. We then took our seats as the ceremony began.

Little did we know that our mom wasn't the only one in attendance for this moment, up on the highest level were six pairs of eyes watching us during this momentous occasion.

( Blake's pov )

( Several minutes earlier )

We opened our eyes as the feeling of vertigo began to leave us. When we could see again not only did we find ourselves in formal dresses but we were also successfully transported to another world. More specifically we were transported to Earth.

Blake: I think we made it.

Ruby: Are you sure, it doesn't look all that different to me.

We took a look around to see a large group of people entering a building from across the street. From the signs we could see that this was the place where Carlos and Jonathan were having their graduation ceremony since the dreams I have been having showed me that this was the place it was going to be held in.

Weiss: Well I guess we're heading that way.

Penny: Then let's hurry otherwise we'll miss it.

As we began to make our way we couldn't help but notice some of the similarities between Earth and Remnant, other than their technology being a little dated there wasn't too much of a difference from what we could tell.

Yang: I can't believe we're actually in another world right now. I guess this is how the guys felt when they came over to ours.

Weiss: A world without any Grimm, I have to admit it sounds too good to be true. Yet this world doesn't have any Huntsman or Huntresses to protect them so I guess it's possible.

Ruby: Not to mention that this world only has humans, I can't see a single Faunus anywhere.

That actually made me really nervous, if I ever got stuck here I would be the only one of my kind to exist here. Luckily I was wearing my bow so no one should notice anything different about me. As we continued on our way we heard some people talking about the news, apparently there was a series of robberies that had been stopped recently but the strangest part of it was who the person who stopped it was.

Penny: I almost forgot, in this world people don't normally possess any traits that we would consider normal on Remnant.

Yang: Calling what we do " normal " is a bit of a stretch, but I agree. It's kind of odd knowing that they don't have an aura or semblance here.

Ruby: That, and the fact that the only dust they have here is the kind you get from an old bookshelf.

We passed by a group of college students who where watching something on a device that resembled a scroll of sorts, I was able to hear a bit about the incident and when I heard the name Spider-Man it immediately got my attention.

Blake: ( Did they just say Spider-Man? )

I walked over to them to listen in better, I was only a few feet from them as I acted casual to avoid any unwanted attention. I heard from the news report that an individual dressed in a makeshift Spider-Man outfit was seen during the chase as the police apprehended the criminals just last night. Of course both Yang and I knew about this since we have been experiencing dreams that showed us how Carlos was doing back here, but I didn't expect him to get caught on television especially after he's been keeping this a secret for so long.

I then walked back to the girls as I explained the situation to them. Neo even checked her scroll and somehow she was able to show us a video from one of this worlds news stations.

Ruby: I didn't know we could still get a signal here. Cool.

The video showed Carlos hanging on the roof of a car as it sped down the highway while trying to avoid the police. The next video we saw showed what happened at a construction site as Carlos knocked out the robber as well as avoiding getting arrested himself before swinging away.

Yang: Looks like our little webhead has been busy as always. I guess those dreams weren't that much of an exaggeration after all.

We then continued on our way, before we could head inside I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see a guy dressed in his cap and gown while having this smug look on his face. I recognized him from both my dreams as well as the images back when Madame Web showed us the truth about Carlos and Jonathan at the Vault.

Blake: ( Oh great, this is that guy that always picks on Carlos. )

I already could tell what he was trying to accomplish, from the way he was looking at me it was obvious he was going to attempt to flirt with me. Too bad for him I have no interest in people who enjoy demeaning others for their own satisfaction, especially when the guy I'm already in love with is more of a man than him, with or without his powers.

Bully: Never seen you around before, where have you been all my life?

Blake: ( Seriously? He's trying a pick up line. )

I didn't respond as I took his hand off my shoulder and I walked back to the others. I then heard him call me a few things underneath his breath as he walked towards his buddies, I overheard one of them say how they should find their favorite target and humiliate him to make him feel better and I knew who they talking about.

Blake: What a bunch of jerks, their graduating today and they don't have a better use of their time?

Weiss: Forget about them, what really matters is that we're here to show our support and congratulate our friends for their hard work.

Penny: That and the four of us get to be reunited with our beloved boyfriends sooner than expected.

Neo then came up to me and patted my shoulder as she smiled at me as if saying " Let's go inside and enjoy the ceremony. " I took a deep breath as the six of us continued forward, while we finally made it to the building we quickly had to separate from the rest of the group as we headed for one of the upper floors to find some good seats. We finally managed to find some on the third floor of the large auditorium, we had an amazing view of the whole area below us. There were several monitors and speakers set up, decorations lined up with both of the schools colors were placed everywhere as families were already taking pictures.

Yang: Looks like everyone is ready to have a good time.

Ruby: Hopefully we don't have to wait too long, I'm glad to be here to see the guys again but I don't want to be stuck in these stupid lady stilts longer than I have to.

Weiss: They're not that bad Ruby, you just have to get used to them.

Ruby: Easy for you to say Weiss, I seriously don't know how you and Neo can fight in these.

Weiss: Jealous?

Neo simply nodded as she gave Weiss a low-five. We then heard an announcement on the speakers as the families settled down, a few seconds later and we could see the students making their way to their seats. I tried to see if I could find Carlos within the crowd but there was so many students participating today that it made it really difficult to pin him down.

Penny: I found him!

Blake: Carlos?

Penny: No, I found Jonathan. He's sitting on the eleventh seat from the left in the third row.

We focused on where she said to look and sure enough when he turned his head we recognized him immediately. He was wearing a black cap and gown and a gold tassel around his shoulders while talking to some friends of his.

Yang: What's with the tassel?

Weiss: I think those are for students who have high GPA's, if you look closely not all the students are wearing them so I guess it's only for a select few.

We then noticed that a lot of the students on Jonathan's side were wearing them while the other students from where Carlos attended hardly had any by comparison.

Ruby: Wow, kind of makes you wonder about the differences between their schools.

Penny: From what I can find it turns out that the school Jonathan attends is actually a private school. Their students have some of the highest grades within the city so that isn't much of a surprise.

Blake: How did you know that?

Penny: Easy, I just accessed this worlds internet like I do back home and I looked up the names of their schools based on the conversations I heard on our way here.

Yang: What about Carlos, what's his school like?

Penny: Well... his school is just a regular high school. Not only that but they don't exactly have a good reputation, apparently their students have a tendency to not really care about their studies so they would usually leave school grounds to do something else.

Weiss: You've got to be kidding me.

Penny: I'm afraid not, it wasn't until recently that changes were made in the hopes that the school could do better. From the information I gathered it looks like they are on the right track but it will take some time before their image is seen more positively.

I then tried looking for Carlos again, somewhere among the sea of dark green I knew he was there, this time I tried focusing on the students near the front who wore their own tassels around their shoulders. I then spotted a student in the middle of the fourth row who was getting hit with paper balls while trying to focus on what their principals were saying on stage.

Blake: I think I found him.

I pointed to him as the others agreed that it must be him. From what I could see it looked like he was doing his best to avoid giving those jerks from earlier any satisfaction of seeing him react to their teasing.

Blake: This is ridiculous, why don't they just leave him alone?

Yang: Guess those guys are trying to enjoy it while it lasts. I have to give our boyfriend credit though, if it were me I would have pulverized those jerks by now.

After listening to a few more speeches from some of the staff members as well as the valedictorian from both schools it was time for the main event. The principals from both schools got on stage as the students stood up from their seats. Each row of students began getting in line as their names were called for them to receive their diploma. When Jonathan walked on stage to get his we heard a woman from a few rows down cheering loudly saying how proud she was of him.

Blake: That must be their mother.

Ruby: Wow she seems so nice.

Weiss: Glad to see she's proud of both of her sons hard work pay off.

Penny: Really wish we could greet her ourselves.

Yang: Me too.

After several more students were called we then saw Carlos walking up to the stage. I was so proud of him, seeing him walk across the stage with a sense of accomplishment as he was given his diploma as well as shaking hands with the principal. I thought that nothing could ruin this moment for him until I saw something from the corner of my eye heading towards him.

Blake: Carlos look out!

( Normal pov )

Finally, all that hard work was about to pay off. After today I would no longer have to worry about the people who made my high school life difficult for me. As I received my diploma I wished how the girls were here to see this, it would be pretty cool to have them here celebrating with us but that was just wishful thinking.

Until...

Blake: Carlos look out!

I thought I heard Blake's voice warning me about something, not only that but spider sense also warned me of the same thing. I was able to catch a glimpse of the same football from earlier heading towards me again. The monitors above us also showed it only a few feet away with a very familiar signature written on the side.

Carlos: ( You know what, I have just about had it with that jerk. I think it's time he got what he deserves. )

Before everyone's eyes I caught the ball like it was nothing as I threw it back with minimal spider strength, I sent it flying fast enough that it hit that pompous jerk hard enough to knock the wind out of him as he doubled over in pain.

Carlos: Seriously that guy is our schools star quarterback? If that's the case it's a miracle we won any games at all.

Everyone began laughing at that as when he got up he glared at me while mouthing the words " you're dead ". After several more minutes of names being called we stood up one last time as the principals gave one last speech, we then took our caps and threw them as high as we could as we cheered. Confetti and balloons dropped from the ceiling as we collected our caps off the ground as we began making our way outside. I was so happy to be done with high school that I was caught off guard when that jerk from before dragged me behind the building where his buddies were waiting for me with metal pipes and brass knuckles.

Bully: You think you're really funny don't you freak!

Carlos: I won't lie, I do crack myself up from time to time.

His buddies got closer to us as they started getting their weapons ready to beat me up. Normally they weren't this aggressive but after what I did during the ceremony I guessed they were done holding back.

Carlos: ( sigh ) Do we really have to do this?

Bully: What do you think, no one makes fun of me and gets away with it!

Carlos: Really? That's odd because we make fun of you all the time when you aren't looking.

Bully: What was that you little punk!

He walked closer to me while his little gang tried intimidating me by saying how badly he was going to beat me up if I didn't keep my mouth shut.

Carlos: Look I don't want to fight you.

Bully: I wouldn't want to fight me neither.

He then took off his cap and gown as he charged at me, his punches were incredibly slow to me so it was easy to avoid his hits. I really wasn't in the mood for this and I just wanted to go home but I couldn't until he learned his lesson.

Carlos: ( Even team CRDL could put up a better fight than him, and that's not saying much. I can't believe I'm wasting my time with this guy. )

He tried punching me again as I leaned back as far as I could using only my legs like Peter did in the first movie of the Sam Raimi trilogy. As he got more frustrated his friends jumped in to try and outnumber me only for them to fail to hit me as well.

Carlos: ( And now these guys are joining in, they have as much chance of beating me as they do getting anything higher than a C- on their report cards. )

It was at this point I ditched my cap and gown and got a bit more creative in fighting them off. I deflected most of their strikes while mostly focusing on evasion so they would tire themselves out before I finished them off in only one or two moves. A few times I actually got them to hit one another as they knocked each other out one by one. I really didn't want to hit anyone since if I wasn't careful I could really hurt someone without meaning to, especially since I had several years worth of pent up aggression against them.

Carlos: Look this is getting old so can we just bury the hatchet and go home already?

Bully: Oh you'd like that wouldn't you nerd.

Carlos: Yeah, that's why I asked.

Bully: Well forget it, you're just a pathetic loser that should be groveling at my feet!

Figures talking this out wouldn't work on a guy like him. He charged straight at me as I simply moved out of his way, he kept trying over and over to land a single hit only for me to counter his strikes. From a single glance you could tell he hasn't had any kind of formal training and mostly just flailed around like an idiot as I used my training and experience to my advantage. It was after what was probably his 11th attempt that I blocked his fist with my open hand, when I did I heard an audible crunch from the impact but I didn't think about it too much as I let my training take over, I sent him reeling back a bit after a few hits to his midsection as he tried hitting me back. He then tried swinging a pipe he picked off the ground as I avoided it before kicking it away from him before I flipped him over my shoulder and sent him to the ground hard. He hit the pavement hard enough to be knocked out as I saw the remaining guys run away saying for me not to hurt them.

Carlos: ( On the bright side, after today they won't remember me at all. )

I thought this would be the end of it as I picked up my cap and gown from the ground as I was more than ready to go home, but I was unaware that I had a small audience who watched my recent fight.

Blake: Carlos?

I turned behind me to see the girls standing in awe of what just happened, before I could say anything Blake and Yang ran up to me and hugged me.

Carlos: Blake, Yang, what are you girls doing here?

Yang: What do you think, we came to celebrate you and your brother graduating today!

Ruby: Yeah! Congratulations on finally escaping high school!

Weiss: Ruby it's high school, not prison.

Ruby: ( shrugs ) Same thing.

Carlos: Uhh... thanks.

I quickly looked back to see the jerk who made my life miserable getting up again, he tried to attack me only to stop once he noticed that his hand was really messed up.

Bully: What did you do to me you freak! I'm gonna make you pay for this you hear me!

Carlos: I told you I didn't want to fight you, instead you decided to ignore my warning and lashed out at me like an idiot. This is all your fault, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Bully: Oh yeah, well guess what all I have to do is report you to the cops and you're finished. Looks like I can still get my way in the end you little freak of nature!

Weiss: I don't think so.

Weiss stepped up as she showed us her scroll, she actually recorded the whole confrontation which was more than enough to prove my innocence.

Weiss: We have video evidence that you and your little group of delinquent friends were the ones who started this whole confrontation in the first place.

I took a look at the recording and it showed me saying how I didn't want to fight and how I fought them off alone. It was basically me defending myself against multiple guys with weapons and me flipping the guy like a pancake at the very end.

Yang: If you try anything we can show them the evidence to prove that he is innocent since he was simply defending himself.

For once in his life he actually looked defeated, he looked back at us to see the girls surrounding me as if ready to defend me, Blake was glaring at him while she had her arms wrapped around mine and Yang simply cracked her knuckles with a smirk on her face.

Carlos: So what's next? You got a back up plan to save your own sorry hide, or is this the part you run away like a coward because someone managed to beat you?

Without another word he ran away while yelling out obscenities, we didn't pay any attention since he wasn't worth the effort. After getting reacquainted with the girls we then made our way to where Jonathan and mom were waiting for me. Once I saw them it finally occurred to me that both my brother and I were about to introduce our girlfriends to our mom. The girls actually noticed how I suddenly grew a bit pale since this was going to be the first time I would be doing something like this.

Yang: Carlos what's wrong, you look like you've seen a ghost.

Carlos: I just realized something. The two of you are about to meet my mom.

The realization finally settled in as they grew as nervous as me, it didn't last long as we heard Penny introduce herself and Neo as Jonathan's girlfriends. I honestly thought my mom would pass out from learning he had two girlfriends but instead she simply hugged them and said " Welcome to the family! "

Carlos: I almost forgot, my mom can be just as excitable as your mom Blake.

Blake: Oh boy, this is going to be exhausting.

The three of us braced ourselves as we held hands before making our way over. With every step our nerves began to get the better of us until my mom finally noticed us.

Mom: Carlos aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?

Carlos: ( gulp ) Y-Yeah, I was getting to that. I would like you to meet Blake and Yang.

Blake/Yang: ( nervously ) I-It's n-nice to meet you.

Ruby and Weiss introduced themselves afterwards as I told her that both Blake and Yang were my girlfriends. At first I thought she would bombard us with questions like how we met or how long we've been together, mostly I was nervous about her asking us how did I end up dating two girls at once but considering she didn't ask Jonathan I guess we were safe from getting asked that one. Just like before she hugged them as she began crying tears of joy telling us how happy she was that we found such nice girls.

Mom: I'm so happy you found such nice girls. They seem like very good girls and they're so pretty too.

Carlos/Blake/Yang: Thanks.

I was kind of surprised that she was taking the whole thing so calmly, normally she finds a way to embarrass me but so far so good. Even Blake and Yang calmed down a bit seeing as how the situation might not be as bad as we thought.

Blake: ( I guess I didn't have to worry that much, she might seem a bit excitable like my mom but she also seems really nice. )

Yang: ( Whew that was a close one. Never thought that the first time I would meet my boyfriend's mom would go so smoothly, maybe there's no reason to be so nervous after all. )

Mom: I just know that someday the three of you will make some beautiful babies-...

Carlos: Woah!!!

Never mind, I spoke too soon. While I tried to calm my mom down about the idea of giving her grandchildren already Blake and Yang became a blushing mess. Not only that but Penny and Neo were the same considering that they, according to my mom at least, were going to be a part of this family as well.

Blake: ( Babies... with Carlos... Calm down Blake, calm down. Still... it would be nice to have a little boy or girl with him. )

Yang: ( Our own little boy or girl... I wonder who they would take after more? Either way... I like the idea a lot. )

While they were busy daydreaming about how our future family would look like I was busy trying to bring my mom back to reality after what felt like an eternity. Once everyone had settled down Blake had to pull me aside in order to discuss something important with me.

Carlos: Blake is everything alright?

She then reached into her pocket as she pulled out a small object, she placed it into my hand as I saw it was the same chess piece I found during our initiation.

Carlos: Where did you get this?

Blake: Carlos I don't have much time to explain, but the god of light gave this to me to give to you. He said this would come in handy and that we'll be sent back soon. I just wanted to tell you that whatever you decide to do I will respect your decision.

She then started to tear up, I guess she was afraid that I would choose to stay here rather than return to Remnant after finally coming back home. I placed my free hand on her cheek as she leaned into my touch.

Carlos: You don't have to be afraid, I will see you soon. All my life I felt like I was meant to be more, that I truly didn't belong here. I know that I have people here that matter to me and they mean everything to me, but I also know what you and the others are to me.

I gave her a kiss as she quickly reciprocated by pulling me closer to her. As we parted she looked deeply into my eyes as I did the same.

Carlos: I have already made my choice, I knew deep down that I couldn't leave you and Yang behind. I want to be with the both of you, if going back meant sacrificing my powers I would still do so because you both mean more to me than all the power I could ever want or have.

Blake: Really?

Carlos: Yes. So just hold on for a few more hours and I will see you again tonight.

With that we made our way back to the others as we said our goodbyes. I looked back at the girls to see Yang tearing up as well, guess Blake told her about our conversation. With that we began the drive home as my brother and I were prepared to spend our last day on Earth before returning to our new home on Remnant.

( Yang's pov )

There he goes, Blake told me about their little talk and I can honestly say I was surprised that he chose to come back. I knew that the decision he made was a difficult one and that he's had a long time to think about it, which is why I promise that when he comes back to Remnant I will do everything I can to help him.

Yang: So what do we do now?

Blake: We need to find a secluded place so we can be sent back.

Weiss: Why don't we go back to where we ended up this morning, it was out of the way so it sounds ideal.

Before we could take a few steps we then saw two of the guys who ran away earlier approach us.

Jerk 1: Hey there, wanna have some fun with us?

Jerk 2: This is a once in a lifetime opportunity ladies, what do you say?

I had to resist the urge to barf right now, especially since these idiots tried to beat up my favorite guy in the universe, or more accurately universes. I decided to use my experience in handling guys like them to finally pay them back for messing with my boyfriend.

Yang: Of course, you guys look like a lot of fun! But are you sure you two can handle a girl like me?

They just grinned at me which made it harder not to throw up my lunch, but I had to play the part if I wanted this to work. I decided to lead them away from us as I made my way to an alley not far from here, once I had them all to myself the only sounds that were heard were of their screams of pain as well as the lid of a large garbage bin being slammed shut. I walked back to the group with a satisfied look on my face as I dusted off my dress and gave myself a pat on the back for a job well done.

Ruby: I guess they couldn't handle you huh sis?

Yang: Of course not, after all there's only one guy who can keep up with me.

Penny: We'd better get going, unless we want to cause a panic from suddenly vanishing into thin air in front of everyone I suggest we make ourselves scarce.

We finally made it to where we first appeared, luckily it wasn't much longer until our surroundings suddenly shifted and we were back at the courtyard of Beacon Academy.

Ruby: Anyone else feel dizzy?

Weiss: Yeah, but it's not as bad as the first time.

We then decided to return to our rooms to get some rest, well everyone else wanted to get some sleep except for me. After changing into my combat clothes and getting my gauntlet from my locker I went over to the training room and decided to start up the special training program that Jonathan designed during our first year at Beacon. The program then created holographic enemies that resembled Grimm as I got my gauntlet and metal arm ready for some action.

Yang: Just you wait Carlos, when you get back I can't wait for you to see how my training has paid off. Let's get stronger together.

With that I launched myself at my targets as the sounds of gunfire filled the room, I couldn't wait for him to come back and I was looking forward to seeing what kind of life we would build together.

( Normal pov )

Carlos: Look, all I'm saying is that Godzilla would totally beat King Kong.

Jonathan: And I'm telling YOU that Kong has beaten Godzilla before and he can do it again!

Carlos: I'm not denying Kong won before, I'm just saying Godzilla is still the superior monster.

Jonathan: Well let's just watch the movie and finally settle the score. Even though I know I am right!

We then finally got all our snacks and drinks set up in the living room as well as an extra large pizza on the way for movie night. Now that our graduation ceremony was over we could spend the next few hours relaxing before having to get ready for tonight.

Mom: Wait for me, don't start the movie yet!

Oh yeah, mom wanted to join us since she loves these movies almost as much as we do. We made the mistake earlier of asking her who she thought would win in a fight and it spiraled into me and Jonathan arguing over the last 45 minutes.

As the movie played, and the pizza finally arrived around 15 minutes after it started, we began to get comfortable as if we had nothing else to do today. The rest of the night could easily be devoted to just relaxing knowing that we had all the time to be together only for me and Jonathan to know that wasn't entirely true. Once the movie had ended, along with the argument between which monster truly reigned supreme, my mom decided to head to bed early. Just before she left for her room Jonathan and I told her that we loved her and that we were very lucky to have someone like her in our lives. As she went upstairs the two of us began to clean up while discussing our next move.

Jonathan: Nervous?

Carlos: Yeah. You?

Jonathan: Yeah, we still have a few hours left. By the way, did Blake give you anything earlier today?

I brought out the Heavens King Piece as he brought out the Abyss King Piece. The two artifacts that we found during our initiation back on Remnant.

Carlos: Been a while since we've had these huh.

Jonathan: Penny told me that the brothers wanted us to have these, something about coming in handy. Any ideas?

Carlos: No, for now let's finish cleaning up. We can figure this out afterwards.

After we finished up we went to our rooms to begin packing our things. I took a good look around my room, so many memories from my past that I would have to say goodbye to. Just then I felt the artifact grow warmer in my pocket as I took it out, it was shining with that same rainbow aura like before as the light illuminated my whole room.

Carlos: What the heck is going on?!

When the light died down everything in my room had disappeared. My bed, t.v., even my manga/comic book collection.

Carlos: What the heck happened to all my stuff?!
