Back in the arena with Leaf and Freya as they were watching the battle of Juno against a Blastoise. Both hearing the crowd cheering on and on but Freya wasn't exactly paying attention to the battle, she was reading the book that she read. "Big sis Freya, why isn't Biltz here?"
"Because he can't, he would probably run around without his guards." Leaf sees her turning the page, "Remember he can be irresponsible and curious about a lot of this." Freya facepalmed and kept reading.
"But he's our little bro." Frowning a bit, "I feel bad having him to miss all of this, I'm sure he would enjoy watching this."
Freya sighed and closed the book and put a paw on Leaf's shoulder, "Biltz can go out to the public once he finally evolves. Even when he's thirteen."
"But we have the money to buy the stones. We're rich, big sis Freya." Confused by this.
"He needs to decide on one evolution, he only gets one chance." Sighing, a bit sad however. "We're lucky to survive from four years ago."
Leaf didn't understand what she meant, "You mean Silent Lightning?" Making sure what she said.
Freya nodded, "That guy killed over three royalty families. Not just that no one knew that Storm was his younger brother. We better be glad that he didn't decide to kill us." Removing her paw from her sisters shoulders and placing them on her own eyes.
"Right…" Leaf looked away from her sister and just paid attention to the arena, not wanting to ruin Freya's mood any longer.
"Leaf, tell me this." Freya spoke up, removing the paws on her eyes and opening the book.
"What is it, big sis Freya?" Still looking forward to the battle.
"Do you think it was a good idea to let Sap go into section two where that guy is?" She leaned over the 'wall' to spectate the battle.
Leaf thought about it, thinking of an answer to not make her feel bad about it, "Well… If you let her go to talk to him, I'm pretty sure it's a good idea."
"That's not what I mean Leaf, remember I can read your mind. Be honest with me." Freya glared at her.
"Okay, okay." She sighed as she saw Juno won the first round, seeing that the blastoise got up and headed back to his spot in the arena waiting to be healed. "I don't know, really. What I know for sure is that he won't hurt her." Leaf realized something after saying that. "Can't you read his mind?"
"I can't, for some reason it's blocked, it might be because of that mask." She sighed.
"Oh… I guess that makes sense.." Frowning a bit.
Sapphire sneezed then looked at Storm, "I have a question." Rubbing her nose.
"First of all you're an ice type, why are you sneezing?" Velo was concerned, she seemed to be more 'elegant' this time than the last two times he saw her but just a 'bit' sick. Looking at the clock it was 6:37, then back at her.
"I'm not sick if you think I am." She kept rubbing her nose.
He was a bit concerned but shrugged it off, "Are you good?"
"Well, not really." She went over to the bench in front of Velo sitting down.
Velo rolled his eyes and laid his back on the wall. "Go on, ask your question."
"Oh uh… Why are you giving everyone mercy? Like.. You give them no time to react and you just knock everyone out in a few hits without having the second round happen." Sapphire really wanted to know this.
"I want this tournament to be over already, that's all." He shrugged.
"No, don't lie to me, I know you want something." She pushed a bit much, as Zeal was eavesdropping on their conversation.
Velo noticed this so he became careful of what he said, "If I want something, then what is it I want?"
"I.." Speechless as she stopped in her words, thinking about it. "You want…." Stopping again, thinking about it.
"I don't exactly want anything. That's final, I'll just take the money and go on my way." Shrugging a bit. Hearing a bit of cheering. Sapphire got up and walked up to him, Velo looked at her confused as she got a smirk on her face. Looking down he sees her paws moving a bit, "Don't even try removing my mask, only I can do it." Looking away from her.
"It would've been a nice attempt anyway." She shrugged and sat next to him. "Tell me what you want, anything."
Velo caught this, "Do you mean anything?" Looking at her as she sees his eyes glow.
Sapphire assumed what he meant as her face went red, "Not everything you pervert!" She looked away from him crossing her arms.
"Is this really how Pokémon with royalty blood act like these days?" He facepalmed, "That's not what I mean. I want the book that your sister has, from Espeon."
"Big sis Freya?" She sweated a bit as they slowly froze, "I-I don't think I can do that…"
"Why so?" Concerned based on her body language, it seemed that she was scared of her sister.
She removed the sweat that was about to be frozen then continued, "W-Well… I don't like making her angry…"
Velo rolled his eyes, "I'll just get it myself." He whispered to himself, "I have a question for you Princess Sapphire."
"What is it?" As it looked like she was paying full attention to him.
He backed up a bit, "Why are you acting so normal? Towards a commoner, like myself?" This somewhat made him feel uncomfortable since to most royalty families would disrespect the poor or others that are beneath them.
"Is that actually your question?" Confused, since she thought everyone knew how her family worked out. But Velo just nodded. "If you didn't know the Luminous family has a royal decree, no matter who the pokemon is we always treat them equally as if we were them."
"What?" Confused by this, usually decrees aren't like that for royalty. "I don't understand."
Sapphire sighed and looked at him, rolling his eyes. "What I mean is that our decree is different from other families. We don't like to disrespect others and we don't abuse our power for the benefit of what we want."
"Oh." Velo was thankful he didn't know about this family from four years ago, he would've probably destroyed and killed this family if he was still the same back then. "I guess that makes sense." Shrugging, as he heard the crowd cheering. "I guess it's time for the finals." He got up as Zeal did the same.
Sapphire looked at the Flaaffy that was sleeping, "I think I need to wake them up." She got up from her seat and walked up to Flaaffy, shaking him.
"Uh.. What..?" As he groaned, blinking a bit he looked at the Glaceon in front of him. He got up immediately, "I'm v-very sorry Princess Sapphire!" He saluted.
"You don't need to do that, just remember the time and do your job." She smiled.
The Flaaffy understood and got up in the middle of the room, "Alright, Zeal you head to section one as for you Storm, you stay here." They both nodded as Zeal walked out of the room glaring at Storm one last time. "Now I think it's best for me to leave now." He bowed down to the Princess and walked off.
Velo looked at Sapphire, "So why are you still here?" He crossed his arms, as a Greninja walked into the room sitting across them.
"What am I not allowed to?" She put a paw on his chin, acting seductively.
Velo was disgusted by this, placing a paw on hers feeling the cold a bit. "Yeah no, don't do that first of all. That's disgusting even for a Princess like yourself." Moving her paw down away from him.
Sighing, she moved a bit towards him. As his guard was up a bit, "Relax, like you say Stormy I can't remove your mask." She changed her position laying down her head on his lap.
"Did you seriously call me Stormy?" Concerned a bit from that, but he did felt her cold body on his lap.
She looked at him, giving a smug look. "What you don't like that nickname?~" Moving a paw up to boop his nose, well mask. He sighed, as he looked at the Greninja hearing his name being called as he walked out of the room to the arena. Sapphire looked at him grinning, "It's just us two now."
"Yeah no, I'm out." He pushed her off of his lap and went to the arena to spectate.
Sapphire rubbed her head, "Well that's not nice.." Getting up and following him.
Velo walked forward seeing that the Greninja walked onto the arena, on the other side he saw Juno on the other side. He leaned on the wall waiting till the fight began, as Sapphire walked up next to him, also spectating the battle. Hearing the crowd cheering as they started to count down, as the battle began.
Juno brought out her spears and she charged straight at him, the Greninja however stood there waiting. She threw off her spears as the Greninja moved to the side, catching the spear with his tongue scarf and threw it back at her. Juno dodged it as the Greninja took the opportunity to attack.
As he split into multiple parts of himself into Frogadiers, five in total. Velo didn't know he could do that, since this was the first time. Catching his attention he moved away from the wall as he bumped next to Sapphire, "What's with you being next to me?"
"What? Am I not allowed to?" Sapphire looked at Storm with puppy eyes.
He sighed and rolled his eyes and looked back at the arena, "Just don't try to do anything suspicious."
The battle continued as the Greninja attacked Juno in synchronization. Juno tried to keep up with them, but she quickly used her spears as they spun and used them as shields. However he found multiple areas to attack, splitting up two Frogadiers as they changed into Froakies; twenty in total.
The three Frogadiers distracted Juno, giving the Froakies the chance to attack. Juno seeing through this easily, she stopped blocking with her spears. Quickly stabbing into the ground, as a barrier appeared around her. Blocking the Froakies from incoming. The Froakies then came together with the Frogadiers, as a glowing light appeared, coming out a Greninja.
"Well done, you aren't dumb like the others." He said, clapping. "Well, it's expected from a X ranked." Juno sees hexagons around him. However she still doesn't say anything, right behind him he sees Storm and Sapphire right next to each other spectating. "Not going to say anything? Alright." He sighed.
She took a deep breath, calming herself down. She threw her spear as it spinned around like a ring, as the Greninja used an aerial ace to block it. However he was pushed a bit back as he felt the force of the ring. "You can't block that forever." She threw another spear pushing the ring, he then was pushed even more.
He jumped up but the ring followed him as he split apart, into five Frogadiers. However the ring split apart as this caught Storm's attention. "She has never done that before. Juno has only two spears." He spoke aloud.
"What do you mean, 'never done that before'?" Sapphire moved a bit forward looking at him, Storm backed up a bit sweating.
He grunted and cleared his throat, "I didn't say anything, it was your imagination." Coughing a bit. Looking down at her, his vision became distorted. His sense of smell became completely different, such a horrid smell.
But it stopped after Sapphire placed a paw on his mask, "Storm? Are you there?" She tapped him a bit.
He put a paw on hers and moved it down to the ground, "I'm fine, there's nothing wrong. Besides, why do you always keep checking on me?" He moved his head down looking at her.
"Well, I trust you since you wouldn't kill anyone. You may be Silent's brother, but I trust you dearly." She said boldly as she leaned on him. "I can tell you're calm and kind."
"Are you trying to be cliche with me?" He looked at her seriously, as she backed up and looked at him with her face puffed up.
Crossing her arms and sitting on her hind legs, her eyes were somewhat closed as her cheeks puffed up red. "I was trying to be nice you meanie," Dropping the facial expression and placing two paws on his cheeks. "But you're very cute."
Velo doubted her as he faced the arena, seeing Juno somewhat winning but was a bit exhausted. However Sapphire moved his head as their eyes aligned with each other. Confused by this, he sees that she was smiling, trying to keep a happy posture. Sheesh, if Velo exposed his face toward her, Sapphire would probably alright faint. Having a semi-flash back from yesterday.
Daydreaming for a bit he was shaken by Sapphire as their eyes connected again. "What do you want?"
"You keep ignoring me everytime I say something." She felt his spiky collar, a bit relaxed, different from her fathers as it was sharp and dense when she touched it when she was an eevee.
He felt her rustling his fur as he looked a bit confused, "What are you doing?"
"Oh sorry!" She removed her paws away from him, "It just reminds me of my father…" Sighing sadly.
"What's wrong? You seem a bit down." He was somewhat semi paying attention to the battle, as Juno lost the first round, and got up as the Audinos and Chansies from both sides came in to heal her.
Sapphire sighed and looked at Storm, he could tell that she wasn't happy at all, "It just reminds me how my father always comforted me, even though he was a Jolteon like you."
How the hell have I not have I not heard of this? He thought, but sighed. "Oh, uh… I guess." He looked at the arena as Juno was fully healed, and ready to fight as they counted down once again. Back at Sapphire she still seems a bit down still, "Sorry, I'm not good in these types of situations."
"Nono, it's okay." She looked like she was about to cry, "My father just barely spends any time with family ever since he heard about your brother, Silent. He has been working often away from the castle."
"Oh, sorry to hear about that." He was a bit sorry for what he somewhat did, although it isn't his fault. Hearing cheering from the arena as he forgot to pay attention, to the battle he saw Juno laying down, fainted. "Wait… What..?" His vision became distorted, feeling his chest being heavy.
Sapphire felt his fur became rock hard solid, as if it became the toughest material in the world. As it hurted a bit, removing her paws from his collar. She sees his eyes as they become red, "Storm, are you alright? Your eyes.."
He couldn't hear anything, however, a memory appeared that he didn't recognize, seeing the book that Freya had in front of him. He shook his head, closing his eyes, for a bit. Velo opened them, seeing that he was in a position in a school. Trying to calm himself, hearing the voice from yesterday last night. He turned around, seeing a familiar figure…
Velo snapped out of it the moment Sapphire placed a paw on his mask. "Oh uh what?" Shaking his head, Sapphire looked a bit concerned.
"Are you okay Storm? Your collar fur hardened and your eyes became red." She touched his collar, as it was soft again.
He sighed and removed her paws from his mask and his collar, "I'm fine." He just waited for it as Sapphire looked at him concerned still. "Why are you still holding me like this?"
She looked at herself, as she had both of her paws on his chest, both of them sitting on their hind legs. Sapphire blushed and removed them, "S-Sorry."
"Oh nono, it's fine." He placed his paws on her shoulders, as he got another flashback. As he saw himself in a castle, not really familiar from the castles he had been into before. Velo heard a different voice, unfamiliar but somewhat recognizable.
"Zeno! Over here!" The other voice was feminine, he turned around seeing an Eevee. Not recognizing her, she pulled on his paw and ran inside the kingdom. He shook his head, as the flashback stopped as he saw Sapphire confused.
"Nothing I'm fine," He waved it off when the Greninja walked past him. Velo glared at him, as the Audinos and Chansies walked into the arena picking up Juno, to recover her health. He heard his name being called as he walked past Sapphire into the arena.
Sapphire pulled on his arm, concerned a bit, "Are you sure that you're fine?"
"I'm fine," He aggressively removed his arm from her grasp and walked into the arena. Seeing Zeal there, Velo remained calm as these random flashbacks he saw didn't feel like his memories. Sighing he got ready for his stance and looked at Princess Freya from the background, She notices this and grunts even though he couldn't hear this.
"So Juno lost, it's up to me to defeat you." He took his stance at Storm.
Velo stayed quiet and cracked her knuckles and neck. Waiting for them to count down, once they did. Velo stood there waiting for Zeal to attack, glaring at him with his death stare. The crowd however couldn't see this face to face. But Zeal was still a bit confident.
Zeal removed his glasses as he opened up his eyes, using Zeraora's power, his outfit changed as well. "If you wont move then I will!" He lunged forward as Velo's mask produced a water shield, as it sparked a bit. "That's not going to work!"
"It doesn't matter." Velo looked at Zeal, "Hurricane's Storm." It shot out a Hurricane from the shield from the middle, pushing Zeal to the sky as thunderstorms produced thunderstorms and struck blue thunder down on him.
Zeal looked for a way to get out of the Hurricane as he was being hit repeatedly, his heart was racing quickly. Trying to calm himself down, he sees pieces of the arena being picked up and being flown at him. "I can do this." As he got one of the pieces and aimed himself out of the Hurricane.
Zeal saw himself high in the sky, he panicked a bit but he calmed himself down once again. Velo however saw him, "You cannot escape me." Moving a paw to the right as the hurricane followed Zeal as if it was a direct missile. He then moved his paw down on the ground as the Hurricane immediately did a hard right turn straight down.
The Hurricane then dispersed and Zeal was there but was still good to go, as quickly got up and took his stance. "You may think I can't beat you but I still have a chance!" Shooting an aura sphere as it looked to be slow from Velo's position.
He sighed and blocked it with a water shield, the moment he dropped it; Zeal was in front of him and punched Velo's head to the ground. Zeal afterwards kicked Velo up as if he was standing to continue his combo, making a few more punches. Doing an uppercut for a final hit.
Velo flew into the air as his mask produced water, to cushion his fall. "You think you're good, but you aren't." He said quietly, as the water pushed him up to stand up as he then was boosted by the water underneath him, heading straight forward straight at Zeal. As that was happening blue sparks of electricity appeared around him. However Velo appeared in front of Zeal immediately. "You aren't the only one that's fast."
Water then wrapped around his arm having the structure to also have spikes on them; it froze into ice. "How can you-" Zeal was cut off as his back was hit by his strike. Afterwards he sees Velo slamming both his paws into the ground, as he picks up ground underneath him. Throwing him into the air with the rock below him.
"Your turn." As he jumped up and uppercutted the rock as it broke, having Velo's fist go through and hitting Zeals stomach, as he could feel the spikes on the frozen gauntlet. Afterwards Zeal flew higher and Velo slowly flew down on the ground. "Try to dodge this." He pulled out a sword out the mask, as he spun the sword.
The handle extended, as the blade curved, transforming into a scythe. The crowd was somewhat amazed as they haven't seen a weapon like that before. But Zeal recognized this scythe. It closely resembled the scythe that Silent used, the one that took his eyes out. Zeal however wasn't really enraged by this, he was somewhat thankful to Silent to obtain the powers of Zeraora.
Zeal observes what Storm is going to do next with the scythe. As he spun it around aiming at Zeal. Water slowly surrounded Storm's body, and took a deep breath, "Hydrobolt." Saying those words shot a large hydro pump that had blue lightning surrounding it. Zeal moved quickly to dodge it, running away from the shot. However, Storm took quick note of this and spun the scythe the other way aiming the direction he was heading at.
"You aren't going to defeat me that easily!" Zeal then stopped in his tracks as he felt his stomach in pain, due to the gauntlet from earlier. Trying to ignore the pain, he just couldn't do it, it hurt way too much. He then tried to move, but feeling a cramp down on his ankles, feeling the punishment for using Zeraora's power too much.
"You talk big, but in the end you always lose." As the Hydrobolt hit Zeal, knocking him out for good. "You will stay out for a full twenty-four hours." He stopped spinning the scythe and walked out of the arena.
The crowd was shocked, they were just silent waiting for Zeal to get up, but he didn't. Velo walked back inside as Sapphire looked at him, shaking in fear. "Storm…?"
They both made eye contact as Sapphire saw his red dark eyes, he shakes his head as his eyes went back to blue. "I'm fine, just leave me alone." He walked into the room sitting down.
The Flaaffy walked into the room in silence, "It is just you two, you both can walk into the arena once they're done fixing it." He continued to read off the clipboard he was holding, as he moved his glasses up because it was sliding off every once and awhile. "Once your names have been called, please do come out one at a time for an final introduction." He bowed down and walked out of the room.
Velo looked at the Greninja, "What was his name again…" Velo spoke to himself, as Sapphire sat next to him. He rolled his eyes and ignored her presence.
Sapphire placed both of her paths on one of his shoulders and gently shook him, "Storm, I know you can hear me." Shaking him a bit.
"Go away." He said, sounding a bit grumpy, looking down.
"You know I won't go away, what's wrong?" She shook him once more, she moved her head a bit to see his 'face'. She could see his left eye looking at her and heard him sighed.
Hearing a bit of shuffling he moved his hand to pat her head, she could hear him grunted as he stood up straight and looked at her, "I'm fine, don't worry about it." He wished he could smile but sighed sadly. Leaning his back on the wall. "I'm going to go do something." He got up and headed to the exit. Looking around he doesn't see anyone, as he made himself another double. He then removed his mask, and sat down pinching between his eyes. "Talk."
"Yes sir." As the duplicate saluted at him.
The Voice of his sounded a bit different from his perspective, he couldn't really tell if that was the actual voice or not. But he shrugged it off, however he was a bit shocked that it could actually talk even when it's just water. "What is your name?"
"I do not have a name sir." He still saluted at him.
Velo facepalmed as if it looked like a robot, "When you come to life by my command do you stay the same? Like keeping your memories?"
"Yes sir. I will remember everything even when I disappear." Velo stopped facepalming and just sighed.
"Would you like a name?" He questioned him.
"It would be an honor sir." The water bowed down towards Velo.
He scratched his head, and thought of a random name, "How about Aenon?"
"Aenon will become my name then, sir." He bowed down.
Velo felt a bit embarrassed but sighed. "Aenon, you don't need to call me sir."
"But it would be disrespectful if I didn't." As he stopped bowing down, "Do you have a mission for me?"
Velo sighed again and decided to give up, he then walked away from Aenon and turned around looking at him, "Here's your mission, I need you to go back into the arena and wait till the name 'Storm' calls out, but go last. I'll signal you, when I appear with this mask." He brought out a card as the mask of Yveltal came out, "That's when you have to act as if I was your older brother."
"Okay sir. Is that all?" Aenon wanted to make sure, as Velo nodded. As he heard their names happen.
"Well, go. Do not lose against the Greninja." Velo said as Aenon saluted and walked into the room as he saw the Greninja walk out. "Well, let the show begin."
Yeah it took long like I said, but the information is almost done, expect the chapter to maybe be released on friday? But that's all I have for today's chapter. I know it's pretty small but the next chapter will be worth the wait. And I know the first few chapters are like on this one day, but don't worry the future chapters will be worth it. It will be on other days and stuff. Well Imma go get some sleep, so goodbye everyone.
