A/N: Although I didn't like the cliffhanger ending of the season finale or how they're writing Sullivan, for that matter, I have to say it's really good for drama purposes. So, this is my (super short) take on what happens just after the episode.
Disclaimer: I don't own Station 19 or any of its characters.
"That house is your family! Your father's legacy."
After the wedding and still with his words resonating in her head, Andy went home to pick a few of her belongings, not willing to stay under the same roof as her husband. She was pissed. Actually, she was outrageous. She couldn't even put into words how betrayed she felt. Why would he do this to them? To her? His wife, who he claimed he loved so much.
She was packing compulsively, tears of anger wetting her unfolded clothes, when she heard the front door open from afar. Trying to avoid another uncomfortable and useless fight with her husband and apparently new captain, she quickly closed the zip of her duffle bag and ran out of the bedroom. Unfortunately for her, she met him halfway down the stairs.
"Hey…" He greeted her, sadly looking at her full bag.
Not making eye contact, she replied, coldly. "I'll be at Vic's. Don't try to call me."
"Andy…" He spoke again, feeling miserable.
"I'm not talking to you" She said and tried to walk away from him, however he stood in her way, imploring her to listen to him.
"Andy, I swear I-" He began, but she cut him, before he could finish the sentence.
"Stop! I don't want to hear any more of your excuses ever again."
"Andy, just give me two minutes to explain-"
"No! You've explained enough!" She said, louder this time.
"Please! 19 is your family. I was trying to-" He begged, unsuccessfully.
"I SAID I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, ROBERT!" She yelled, her tear stained cheeks turning red from the rage. He gave her a pleading look, but he finally surrendered when he realized that she wasn't going to change her mind at that moment. He loved his wife, but he knew she was stubborn and it was going to take a great amount of time to convince her. A time she wasn't going to give him, yet.
As soon as he stepped aside, she made her way to the front door. He asumed he was going to see her leave, slamming the door in the process like she had done that morning, but she stopped without looking at him. A couple of seconds later, Andy took a breath, wiped her tears away and turned around to look at him with so much pain in her eyes, that it broke Sullivan's heart.
"By the way, YOU are my family, you and our baby, and you tore us apart."
