A couple of days goes by and I still haven't responded to Bella's text, ignoring her pledge to meet up. I don't know what I would tell her. What is there to say?

I have been spending a lot of time with Jacob, not alone with him, but somehow he has always managed to be around, in school or over at Emily´s. I can't deny that I am starting to enjoy his company.

I am sitting in the hall outside the gym waiting for our class to start with Kiro and Antonia. I am chewing gum and scrolling on my phone lazily.

"Oh my God" Antona suddenly says as she looks down at her phone.

"They are opening a new club in Port Angeles" She continues.

"Really? I didn't know they had night clubs around here" I say.

"Barely. When do they open?" Kiro asks Antonia.

"This weekend, we should go!"

"I´m so on! You too, right?" Kiro asks me excitedly

I think about it for a second, after what happened with Victoria the guys, Jacob, have been particularly worried and there haven't been many moments where I havent had one of the guys around me. But there is a huge difference between being alone in the woods and being with my friends in a crowded club. My body is itching to do something fun. I think it would be good for me to get out of the reservation for a night.

"I'm in." I reply and Antonia squeals.

"This will be fun" Kiro says and I nod my head agreeingly.

"Just please, don't tell any of the guys" I ask carefully." I know what Quil and the rest of them will say about it and I don't want to take the fight.

"I like this part of you Steph, sneaking out and stuff" Kiro says and laughs.

Antonia rolls her eyes to Kiro

"Dont worry about it, you can stay at my house" She tells me.

Friday comes and I am sitting with Quil and Abby by the kitchen eating breakfast and talking.

"Oh I wanted to ask, I am sleeping over at Antonias tonight, is that okay?" I ask as I take a bite from my sandwich.

"Of course it is, dear. It's so fun that you have made new friends at school." Abby says and smiles.

"Will it just be you and Antonia?" Quil asks innocently behind his big cup of coffee but I can sense the meaning behind his words.

"Yeah, or maybe Kiro will come over for dinner but he won't sleep over."

Quil nods approvingly.

Technically I am not lying to my aunt and cousin. I am sleeping over at Antonio's house but I am just not telling them exactly what we will do before we sleep. Still, I feel a little bad.

The school day goes by quickly and as the sun begins to set I am sitting on the floor in Antonia's bedroom curling my hair. Antonia is standing by her closet and is carefully picking out an outfit. Her parents are away for the weekend so we have the house for ourselves. I guess her parents trust her a lot more than my parents do.

"Are you excited for tonight´?" Antonia asks as she sips on her glass of white wine. I nod my head. I am. But it seems like I can't get rid of the lump in my stomach. I feel so bad for lying. Especially to Jacob. I haven't seen him today but I know that he knows where I am, he always does. Suddenly my phone lights up and I see a text from Kiro. He and his friend, Alec, are on their way here to pick us up.

"Oh shit, we need to hurry!" I say as I hurriedly finish my glass of wine and spray my face with some finish spray. I check my outfit in the mirror, I am wearing black bootcut jeans with a tight, almost see through sparkling top with an open back.

"Do I look okay?" I ask Antonia, feeling a bit self conscious.

"Are you kidding me? You look amazing"

I spray some perfume on Antonia and I and then we hurriedly run down the stairs. Antonia's older sister, Sarah, is laying down on the couch in the living room eating popcorn. She glances at us while we put our shoes on.

"Have fun tonight! But don't come home too late or too shitfaced or I have to call mom and dad"

We laugh and promise her.

"I hope we get in" I tell Kiro worriedly as we are walking up to the club. There is a line of people outside.

"Don't you worry, Alec knows the manager"

Kiro was right and we easily get in. The club is loud and dark and there the atmosphere is vibrant.

"Come on guys, let's take shots!" Alec yells at us and I laughingly let Kiro pull me through the crowd to the bar.

Two hours later we are dancing and singing and Kiro and I are cheering on Antonia as she is talking to a hot guy. The alcohol makes my body loose and I am constantly laughing and giggling. The loud music and the blinking lights almost makes me forget about the world outside this dark, crowded room and I am quite enjoying the feeling.

I am having so much fun and as I sip on my drink I look around the room when suddenly my breath hitches. A pair of familiar eyes meet mine and I look away quickly.

"Antonia!" I grab her arm.

"I think I saw Brady, from the rez"

"What?" She asks and I tell her one more time but louder.

"Are you sure? Well, maybe he didnt see you" She replies. I hope so.

An hour later I have forgotten about Brady and I am dancing with Alec and Antonia as I suddenly feel a warm hand grab my arm and an angry voice say

"What do you think you are doing?"
