We eventually arrived at Lastation, the sun was setting when we got the outskirts. As we got closer I realized that Lastation is more industrial than Planeptune. I heard it was pretty impressive but this is my first time being here and seeing it for myself.

As we continued walking, Neptune started to slump against me

"Hungryyyyyyyyyyy… Foooooooooood!" she cried out

"Yeah yeah I get it, I'll get us some food just keep walking." I said as I gave her a little push get her back on her feet

"Fineeeee…" Neptune sighed

As I looked around the outskirts of Lastation are mainly factories rather than housing or shops

"Let's get closer to the center, maybe it's nicer than here" I said, gesturing towards the tall building where the CPU resides

As we started to get closer to the center of the city, the number of factories got lower and lower until there was none in sight at the center of Lastation.

"Let's eat" I told Neptune who was practically slumped up against me

"Yesssss!" She groaned out

I looked around for some places to eat but couldn't find any noticeable ones here, I noticed the guild building that was pretty close.

"Hey Neptune, you go find us something to eat, I'm gonna go check the guild to see if they still have the quest up." I said gesturing to the guild "Lets meet up back here once we're both done."

"Roger!" She happily said as she ran off

"Heh, she really likes food." I thought as I started towards the guild

As I got into the guild I noticed that the color pattern of Lastation guild was quite different than the one I saw in Planeptune, this one is more black and white instead of purple.

"Welcome to the Lastation guild! Are you an existing or a new hunter?" The front desk lady asked me that was to my left

"I'm already a hunter, I'm here for the quest about Elise." I said

"Oh ok, just go straight forward and the quest room should be right there." She said

I approached and went through the doors as she directed and was in the guild's quest room. Even though its color theme is black and white it still is vibrant and bright

As I got to the terminal I logged in and pulled up the quest screen, I pulled up the "active quests" and saw that Lila's quest now had an updated label, I pressed the tab as fast as I could to see what it was.

Description: The demon who has annihilated villages, slaughtered townsfolk, and defeated the goddesses in a head-on fight. Do not engage with this demon directly, only the strongest, fastest, and most skilled individuals will even have a chance to survive.

Update: Lila's power has been detected around the area between Lastation and Lowee, travelers and hunters are advised to be cautious while traveling through this area.

"The place where we're going..." I thought as I skimmed through

As I got out of Lila's quest tab I noticed that Elise's quest also had an updated tab

Location: Lastation - Lowee

Difficulty 7*

Reward: 50,000

Description: (HIGHLY DANGEROUS) Elise is wanted for the countless murders that have taken place in Lastation and in the areas around the city.

Update: Scouts have confronted Elise within the mountain range between Lowee and Lastation and she's attacked them! All available hunters should come to the range to help the other hunters!

I closed the tab to the quest and logged out of the terminal. I walked out into the night as the front desk lady said goodbye to me.

As I made my way back to the spot where I told Neptune to meet back up I saw her running towards me with some food in her hands.

She stops in front of me with a twinkle in her eye

"Oh man Zach, you got to try this, I found a food truck nearby and my god they have the best food I've had!" Neptune exclaimed as she handed me a wrapped up burger

"Thanks, what was the food truck's name?" I asked

She paused for a moment

"Eh… Don't remember, but their slogan was better the wawa's or something" she shrugged

I unwrapped the burger and took a bite, and she wasn't kidding

"God damn…" I said to myself as I eat the whole thing in a few bites

"Guess you were hungry!" She giggled as she watched me finish up

After I finished eating I started to look around for a place that we could crash for the night, but considering how much money we have left we could probably get one room.

"Let's look for a cheap place to sleep." I gestured down the street

Neptune nodded as she followed

After a bit of searching, I found a small inn, signs outside of the building saying we have open rooms or cheap rooms. I guess it's better than nothing. As we entered two voices greeted us, one of them was a higher pitch than the others.

"Good afternoon! Will you be staying with us tonight?" They both said

When I looked at the front desk I noticed that there was only one person there and it was a woman but as I looked closer I saw the head of a little girl poking out from the table, must be a family-owned inn.

"Hi there, how much would a single room be for tonight?" I asked

"We are running a deal for this week that single rooms are only 750 gal!" She said

"That's really cheap for a room" I said

"Yes, we're a bit desperate for business so we are lowering room prices…" she said in a sad tone

As I started to get out the money to pay the room fee the little girl was staring up at Neptune and said.

"Your hair is a funny color miss" she pointed at Neptune

The mother lightly scolded her but Neptune looked like she was empowered by the remark

"Heh glad to see that you can recognize how good my hair is~" Neptune said with a smug and triumphant look on her face

As I finished counting out the money I put it all back into the pouch and handed it to the mother. She told us which room is ours so we made our way to the room and went inside

As we got inside and started to take off our weapons and gear I turned towards Neptune.

"I forgot to ask but, are you fine with sharing the bed?" I asked

She gave a confused look

"Why wouldn't I be?" She said

I sighed, I'm not even gonna bother with it since I'm tired from walking all day, if she's ok with it whatever

"Nevermind" I said as I got my side of the bed ready

We both got ready for bed and both got under the covers. I've decided to move over to give her some room on the bed since the hair is spread out on the bed and her pillow.

"I Get the feeling tomorrow is gonna be a hard day…" I thought

My eyelids started to become heavy so I started to go to sleep
