I'm a big fan of the Life is Strange games, I've seriously got a soft spot for Sean and Daniel. But as always my brain starts tickling and I get story ideas, I'm going to take a different route this time though. This will be my next project when I've finished A Wolf In Sheeps Clothing, I thought I'd post one chapter to see how it goes.

I've got an idea for an oc, it would be cool to try and do a romance fanfiction for once if I don't mess it up. I could make it tragic or happy, I've gotten most of the endings in Life Is Strange 2 and I prefer the ending where the Wolf Brothers make it Mexico even if they turn to criminal activities.

-I don't own the Life Is Strange series.

-Please be patient with me - My laptop charger died, I have to write everything on my phone now.

-I have no idea how long this fanfictiohn will be, maybe I got write it in a way where the reader gets to decide the way the story will be told in some chapters- I could give choices, bad and good decision.

-Why don't they have Life Is Strange 2 characters on here in the characters part?

Stay safe and Enjoy!

Chapter 4!

Away, Arizona.

The next few days passed quickly, it was soon the night of the meteor shower. Gemini had packed canned food and filled her water bottle, her asleep roll was strapped to her bag. She had two bottle of bug spray in her bag's front pockets, also everything they would need to make smores. She remembered to tie a small saucepan to her backpack's strap, she hadn't packed plates but she had a can opener and spare forks with her.

Gemini had borrowed her Uncle Arthur's telescope like she had promised Daniel, she soon left her home and headed towards Karen's trailer home. Daniel was sitting outside on the porch by himself, he was playing with his Power Bear toy and some cardboard houses he had made from cereal boxes. He was using his powers to float some small balls above his makeshift houses, his rockship dodged the balls and landed safely on top of one of the cardboard houses. She approached Daniel and caught his attention by kicking a small rock ahead of her, he soon jumped to his feet which caused the small balls to fall onto the porch. They rolled from the porch and bounced along the ground, Gemini managed to rescue one of the balls while she stopped near garden furniture.

" Gemini's here!" Daniel yelled.

" Okay, we'll be ready soon!" Karen said.

" Hey Daniel, are you packed already?" Gemini asked.

" Yeah, I've been up for like hours!" Daniel replied while he began to tidy his makeshift houses into a medium cardboard box. " Sean is just packing us some sandwiches and filling up our water bottles. We have to bring some candy bars with us, it's the law."

" I brought canned food, it's a lot easier than sandwiches in this weather." Gemini said. " Sandwiches tend to go off in this heat, I've learnt that from my past mistakes."

Daniel finished tidying up and took his box of toys with him, he soon returned with his Brother not far behind him. Karen had offered to drive them to the trail, but Sean said it was okay since it was only a two mile walk from the community. Daniel waved to his Mom before he hurried towards the road that lead out of the community, he was really excited about the camping trip. Sean and Gemini soon followed after him, they made small talk while they walked together not far behind Daniel. It seemed like this wasn't the first time they had been camping, they had camped out for a few months in the Redwood Forests of California.

They had been staying with a group of drifters, they had met two of them at Beaver Creek where their grandparents lived. Sean wasn't proud of his past working on a cannabis farm, but he needed the money to fund his journey with Daniel. Gemini didn't mind what Sean had to do to survive, he was only thinking of his future with his little Brother in Mexico. She soon took the lead and guided them towards the trail, it was off road from now on. The pathway leading to the camp sight wasn't too rocky, but it was all up hill which was tiring.

" How far do we have to walk?" Daniel asked.

" It's not that far now, we're really close." Gemini replied.

" My legs hurt, can't we rest for a moment?!" Daniel asked.

" Fine, we can stop for a few minutes then." Sean replied before he looked at Gemini. " If we don't stop he'll keep on moaning, trust me."

" It's fine, I could do with a breather myself." Gemini said.

Daniel hurried ahead of them and climbed up onto a rock before he sat down on top of it, he then lay down on it's hot surface. Gemini took her backpack off and sat down on the ground, she had managed to find a shaded area. Sean soon joined her, he took a sip off his water and offered it to Daniel who was right above them.

" Drink up, enano." Sean said.

Daniel used his powers to float the water bottle towards his hand, he soon took hold of the bottle and took a big gulp of water. Gemini took a sip of water from her own bottle, her water was lukewarm now. Screwing her lid back on her bottle Gemini watched Daniel floating his water bottle back down to Sean, she was still trying to get use to seeing him using his powers.

" Let's get moving, the sun is too hot up here!" Daniel said.

" It will get cooler by nightfall, just hang in there." Gemini said.

" Oh good, I didn't know that." Daniel said.

Gemini got to her feet and put her backpack on, she soon took the lead once again. Daniel and Sean were walking behind her, she could hear them talking. She couldn't help but laugh at some of the things Daniel said to his big Brother, he was funny and nieve when it came to the Arizonia heat.

" Why couldn't we bring a tent with us?" Daniel asked while he rubbed the back of his neck. " I don't want to get eaten alive by bugs in my sleep!"

" I already told you why, enano." Sean replied, he draped his arm around his younger Brother's shoulders. " You'd be cooked like a microwavable meal inside of a tent. Arizona is way different than California, we're not in the forest anymore."

" I know, but still... it's annoying!" Daniel sighed.

" You'll be fine, quit your whining." Sean said.

" Okay." Daniel sighed.

" Here Daniel, you can borrow my bug spray." Gemini said.

Gemini took some bug spray from her pocket while she stopped, she then offered it to Daniel. He snatched the bottle from her hand and sprayed it all over his face, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him before a small laugh escaped her lips. He also most choked on the spray, the scent from the bottle was overpowering.

" Daniel, you're wasting it!" Sean sighed.

" Oops, sorry Gemini." Daniel said.

" It's fine, I've got a spare bottle." Gemini said.

Daniel gave her the bug spray back, they soon began to walking up the steep pathway ahead of them. The higher they climbed the more intense the sun's heat got, the sweat was pouring from them. They reached a high point of the trail, Sean gave Daniel a leg up and Gemini passed her Uncle's telescope to him. She wanted to make sure it didn't get broken, it was very expensive.

" Have you got it?" Gemini asked.

" Yeah, I won't drop it." Daniel replied.

" Do you need any help?" Sean asked, he cupped his hands together to give her a leg up. " You look a lot lighter than my Brother."

" Hey!" Daniel frowned.

" It's fine." Gemini replied with a smile. " I've walked and climbed this trail like a billion times, it's pretty easy."

Gemini climbed up the steep ledge all by herself and got to her feet, she wiped some sweat away from her forehead while her gaze lingered on the last remaining part of the trail. They didn't have far to go, she thanked Daniel while she took the telescope from him. Gemini took the lead once again and guided them forward, she told them they were nearly there.

Nightfall.

They had arrived at the canyon spot most of the people at the community used when they went camping in the canyons, the views from the campsite were beautiful. The canyon was vast and rocky, the setting sun looked beautiful against the outline of the canyons. The pinks and oranges against the fading blue sky enhanced them more, it looked like a painting you would see in an art gallery.

Gemini setup the telescope while Sean and Daniel made a campfire, they didn't have to do much since there was the remains of an old campfire still there. It wasn't long until their camping beds were rolled out on the ground, they just had to wait until the stars came out. They spent the next two hours making smores and cooking canned baked beans over the campfire, they used the empty cans has their plates. They used leftover crackers for spoons, it was an odd way to eat baked beans but Gemini had forgotten to bring some forks even if she had thought she had put them in her backpack. The sandwiches Sean had make had gone warm, he ended up throwing them over the camping ground's ledge for the desert's wildlife.

The sky soon darkened and the stars came out, the odd meteor shot across the night sky. Daniel could hardly contain his excitement, he was in his element. He couldn't stop talking about galaxys and different planets, he even made a joke about seeing Sean's Uranus when he bend over. The Wolf Brothers were having fun, it seemed like the camping trip was doing them the world of good.

" Whoa!" Daniel said, he grabbed hold of his Brother's arm and pointed up at the night sky. " Look, is that a meteor?!"

" Maybe, it could be a shooting star." Sean replied.

" It could be a spacecraft." Gemini joked.

" Yeah, they're gonna take Daniel home... finally!" Sean said before he wrapped his arm around his Brother. " D.D phone home! They're calling you, enano!"

" Shut up!" Daniel frowned.

" What? Can't you take a joke?" Sean asked.

" Yeah, but they're coming to probe you!" Daniel laughed.

Daniel slipped beneath Sean's arm and playfully punched his side, they were soon play fighting near the campfire. Gemini rolled her eyes at them in amusement before she turned her attention back to the telescope, she peered into the scope and took at the universe through the lense. After awhile Gemini joined Sean at the campfire, it seemed like Daniel had decided to turned in for the night. He was sprawled out on his camping bed, his gaze was fixed on the night sky above him.

" Sean, do you think Dad is watching us from heaven?" Daniel asked.

" God, I hope not!" Sean replied while he looked at him over his shoulder. " We've done some messed up shit in the last few months..."

" I know, but he's with Mushroom right?" Daniel asked.

" Yeah Daniel, he's with Mushroom." Sean replied.

" Good, I don't want him to be lonely." Daniel said.

Gemini had no idea who Mushroom was, but she understood why Daniel hoped his Father was watching them from heaven. She used to think the same thing about her Mother when she was young, it was a comfort thing. Sean poked at the campfire with a stick, he seemed lost in his own thoughts. Gemini tidied away the empty cans into her backpack, she then settled down in front of the campfire. The nights at the canyon could get chilly, but it seemed like Daniel wasn't bothed by the cold. He was now fast asleep on his camping bed, the odd snore escaped his lips while he fidgeted in his sleep.

" It seems like your Brother is knocked out for the count." Gemini said, she pulled her knees to her chest and looked over her shoulder at the sleeping boy. " He's gonna miss the rest of meteor shower."

" Yeah, he's a real party animal." Sean joked.

" Oh well, maybe he'll be round for the next one." Gemini said.

" Yeah, maybe." Sean said.

Gemini turned her attention towards the night sky, the stars were twinkling and the moon was bright. The odd shooting star shot across the sky, it was a beautiful night for stargazing. Sean cleared his throat and offered her candy bar, she glady took it from him. Daniel had ate most of them with his smores, she was surprised there was any left in his backpack.

" Thanks, I'm surprised there's any left." Gemini said.

" Yeah, Daniel's got a sweet tooth if you haven't noticed." Sean said.

" So, how do you like Arizonia so far?" Gemini asked.

" It's peaceful and hot, but it seems cool." Sean replied before he took a bite of his candy bar. " How long have you lived here?"

" Two years." Gemini replied. " I moved here with my Uncles from San Francisco, it's nice here but I miss the rain sometimes."

" Tell me about it." Sean smiled.

" How about you?" Gemini asked while she popped a piece of her candy bar into her mouth. " I mean I know why you're here, but do you ever miss Seatle?"

" Yeah I do..." Sean replied.

Gemini felt like an idiot, she shouldn't have asked him that question about Seatle after what had happened there. She ate the rest of her candy bar in silence, the atmosphere between them had become awkward. Screwing her candy wrapper up she threw it onto the campfire, she felt the need to apologise to him.

" I'm sorry about what I said before, I wasn't thinking..." Gemini said, she paused for a moment before she looked at him. " I didn't mean to mention Seatle."

" Hey, it's fine." Sean said with a smile. " Don't worry about it."

Gemini returned his smile with one of her own before she threw a twig onto the campfire, she still felt bad about what she had said. They made small talk about random things, she was interested to learn that Sean liked to draw. She asked him if he can still draw with just one eye, he told her that he was getting there slowly with his new disability.

" Can I asked what happened to your eye?" Gemini asked.

" It was an accident..." Sean replied before he took his sketchbook from his backpack. " It happened when we were in California, but it's heeling now. I struggle to draw sometimes, my eye gets sore when I focus too much. But I'm not gonna give up, I want to continuing drawing."

" That's great, but what's it like?" Gemini asked.

" You're talking about my eye, right?" Sean asked.

" I'm just curious, does it itch?" Gemini asked.

" It did at first, but it's not that bad anymore." Sean replied.

" That sounds uncomfortable." Gemini said while she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. " What's your eye like? I'm guessing it's scarred, how do you cope?"

" Do you wanna look under my eye patch or something?" Sean asked.

" I'll show my scars if you show me yours." Gemini replied.

" Wow, that was forward!" Sean laughed.

" I didn't mean for it to sound that way!" Gemini laughed and hid her face in her hand. " Oh my god, how embarrassing!"

" It's cool." Sean said with a smile before he opened his sketchbook. " But can I asked you what you meant about your scars?"

" Oh that, just some old scars on my shoulder." Gemini replied, she crossed her arms and rested her chin on her shoulder. " Nothing important, I was just trying to make you feel better."

" Well it worked, thanks." Sean said.

" You're welcome." Gemini said.

Gemini turned her attention back towards the night sky, she didn't want to disturb Sean since he was sketching the canyon in his book. He seemed focused and at ease, it seemed like drawing relaxed him. After awhile Gemini yawned, she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. She told Sean that she was turning in for the night, he wished her sweet dreams before he continued drawing in his sketchbook.
