KawaiiCutie12: Hmm...let's see what our favorite duo is up to today. (Also, just a quick side note, certain ideas from this series may reappear in my main story on wattpad).

Tending to the antichrist:

Bubbles sighed as she placed a cold rag on the demon's forehead. She wasn't sure how, but he'd somehow fallen ill, and seeing as though he lived alone, she took it upon herself to care for him.

"You don't *cough* have to stay, you know," he told her, his voice hoarse.

"Him, I'm not gonna abandon you while you're sick," Bubbles answered, "friends take care of each other, and what kind of friend would I be if I left you here to fend for yourself?"

Him shook his head, though he wasn't all that bothered by her overbearing nature.

"Well, if you *cough*cough* insist.." Him trailed off, feeling himself grow faint.

Bubbles removed the rag from his head and looked down at him. "Do you want anything to eat? Some soup will do you good."

Pulling a face, Him slowly shook his head. "Not now."

"Do you feel nauseous?" Bubbles cautiously asked.

Him made a "so-so" motion with his claw. "I wouldn't call it nausea, but I'd rather not eat."

Feeling her worry increase some, she slightly nodded, running a hand through his hair again.

"Well, I'm gonna go get you some water, okay?" Bubbles asked.

Him slowly nodded, and Bubbles rolled off his bed and walked into the kitchen. Opened the fridge, she frowned in worry.

Man, he really doesn't look too good. If he gets any worse, I may have to take him to the emergency room. Heh, the son of Satan(1) in the hospital...wonder how that'd play out.

Coughs and sneezes snapped her out of her thoughts, and she quickly grabbed the bottle and returned to his room. Walking in, she saw his head was in his claws, and he appeared to be rubbing his temples.

"Here, drink some," Bubbles instructed, handing him the open water.

Him shakily extended an arm and slowly drank some, before placing it on a bedside table next to him.

"Do you feel kinda better, now that you drank a little?" Bubbles questioned.

"I do feel a bit refreshed," Him admitted.

Bubbles allowed a tiny smile. "That's good. Do you want me to make you anything to eat now, or not yet?"

Him contemplated on it, before finally nodding his head.

Excited at being able to cook something, Bubbles jumped up.

"Okay, you stay right there, I'll be back!" she cheered, flying towards the kitchen.

Thinking back to what her father would make her and her sisters whenever they were sick, she got to work.

Turning the stove on, she looked around for a pot to place the water in, and quickly scanned around looking for broth. Finding some, she placed it into the pot and resumed her work. Humming as she worked, she replayed the events this time around. The two had been telepathically talking(2), when she realized that he kept cutting out. When she tried to reach out to him again, none of her mental messages had gone through. Finally deciding to see for herself, she teleported to his house and found the severely fatigued demon sprawled on his fuchsia-colored couch. Helping him back to his room, he confessed that he'd been feeling off for a few days, and without putting up too much of a fight, he let her play nurse.

Stirring the warm liquid for a moment, she lowered the heat and let it simmer for a few moments, before finally pouring it into a bowl. She grabbed a spoon and slowly flew back to his room. He was still laying there with a claw on his forehead, and her heart hurt seeing him so worn out.

"Hey, here's your soup," she informed him, placing it onto the same bedside table.

She carefully helped him up and he brought the spoon towards him. Seeing that he was now seemingly fine, she slowly rolled off the bed and looked back to him.

"I'll clean up a bit while you take it easy, okay?" she told him.

As he nodded his head, Bubbles flew off to the living room area and used her new powers to tidy up a bit. Having a feeling that Him would want some alone time to rest, she settled for making herself comfortable in the living room and watching TV. She checked her phone and was surprised that her sisters nor the professor had reached out and asked where she was; she had left pretty abruptly...

Back in the room, Him had just finished up the soup and was lying himself back down. While he truly did appreciate Bubbles' care, he was relieved to be able to just relax on his own for a bit. She was damn near a prodigy when it came to culinary, he had to admit. Hell, she was better at everything having to do with art and creativity than her sisters were.

Such an angel.

Feeling his lethargy overpower him, he closed his eyes and dozed off.

Out in the living room, Bubbles had finished up her show and now had her headphones in. As messed up as this may have seemed, nowadays she always felt joy being in Him's setting, even now while he was under the weather. She wasn't sure why; maybe it had to do with the fact that she was never-well, no longer, seen as inferior, and because she could say whatever was on her mind knowing that there'd be not a trace of judgment from his end.

Man, I gotta trust my gut feeling more.

Closing her eyes, she let the song "Always Forever" play while she moved her body to the tune. Truth be told, she had a growing passion for dance since about middle school. Drawing and coloring would always hold a special place in her heart, but nothing could compare to the feeling of being an artist in motion; hell, she was starting to think about going for a dance major once she graduated college. Shutting her eyes, she let her mind swirl and her leg twirl.

He wasn't sure just how long it was, but he felt his body start to gradually wake him up. Cracking his neon eyes opened, he slowly got up, feeling nearly like his old self again. Despite his somewhat lingering fatigue, he could perfectly breathe, and he wasn't (believe it or not) shivering in his sheets.

Wonder what dear Bubbles is up to.

Making his way out of his room, he strolled into the living room to find Bubbles dancing around. So in tuned in her own little world, she hadn't even noticed the grinning demon behind her. Finally, she came to a slow stop, and he took his chance.

"You know, you never cease to amaze me."

Turning around, she blushed momentarily, before realizing he was standing on his own.

"Hey, you're better!" she cried with a smile.

His eyes flashed as he winked. "All thanks to you."

Blushing, Bubbles approached him, a teasing glint in her eyes. "So...now that you're better, wanna get beat on another round of pool?"

Him dramatically rolled his eyes. "Oh simmer down, you merely got lucky."

"We'll see about that."

Laughing, they teleported together into the game room and resumed their usual fun.

This took a moment, but I gotta focus on my education more. So, I'm (somewhat) back on here, but don't get you guys's hopes too high.
