A/N i was tempted to keep this as a one shot but then I decided today I wasn't that cruel lol. Behold chapter 2 :D

Thomas's blood went cold as both the Shark and Walter fell to the ground. He trembled with fear as he approached their blood soaked bodies. The gun laid at their side almost mockingly and though he logically knew Conner was screaming for help next to him he sounded so far away.

He pushed the shark's body off of Walter where he'd landed on top of him and let go of a breath he didn't know he was holding when he saw Walter's chest rise and lower. He suprised when he realised he'd began crying in relief as Walter let out a couple of breathy chuckles from his place on the ground, though he hadn't opened his eyes yet. "You alright there big brain?" He asked gently. "Y-y-yeah" Walter replied in between breaths. "Think he bruised my ribs though when we fell down". Thomas laughed somewhat morbidly "Well you should see the other guy". Walter rolled his eyes "I never wanted it to come to this" he said quietly "this is going to cause a lot of paperwork" he complained before he passed out.

Louise was beside herself. Her poor little boy was covered in cuts and bruises all over and had narrowly missed being shot. She watched him speak to the Garda from a distance gripping his Liason's hand like it was the only thing holding him upright as he spoke. She was pleased that the girl appeared to be his anchor- Louise knew Walter had very little patience for the Garda. She could only imagine how things would be going if Paige wasn't there to help him control himself.

Sean was livid. The only reason he'd not lost control was the police there. When he'd found out the cause of the fight was a loan shark that had come for Thomas and Conner (who both were completely unharmed) he shook with rage. "How could you both be so stupid???" He hissed. "You're lucky Walter didn't die! You're lucky you didn't die! Now my only son could spend his life in prison because you were too stubborn to give up on a company that wasnt going to work!" Tim had heard this exchange as quiet as Sean tried to be and pat the older man on the back in what he thought was a friendly gesture "Don't worry about Walter" he urged "He's got more lives then a cat and this is hardly the first death he's had to deal with police over with our line of work. He's gunna be fine. I doubt he'd even get taken to the station" Sean's eyes widened "I'm sorry what?! What exactly do you mean by that? I thought he ran a computer company. What sort of thing have you lot got him and Slyvester into??"

Tim grimaced "ahh bullpoop"

A/N a little short I know but it won't be stopping here :)
