Song: Unlike Pluto- Revenge, And A Little More

It's been a week since Dabi joined the League of Villains. Shiguraki gave him the task of recruiting new members for the time being but everyone he came across that seemed like a good candidate would ultimately meet their demise at his hands.

Maybe he was being too picky, didn't matter, he was done looking for the night.

He opened the door and stepped into a bar that was only a few blocks from his apartment, deciding to grab a drink. Sitting at the bar he ordered a shot of gin from the bartender behind the counter. The older man nodded and grabbed a glass, pouring the liquid into it he sat the cup right in front of Dabi. Downing the drink quickly Dabi held up a finger to signal the bartender. He didn't look away nor remove his hand from the glass as he watched the liquid pour into it. The second shot was gone just as fast as the first, Dabi tossed a few bills onto the bar and stood to leave.

"You're not staying for the performance?"

Dabi wasn't expecting the bartender to speak. He stood perfectly still as he finally looked around the bar. There were about fifteen people seated in various locations throughout the moderately sized bar along with a very small stage that held nothing but a single mic stand and an amp. He'd been to this place a handful of times in the past few months and not once did he remember there ever being a band or anyone for that matter who got on the stage. Turning to leave without a response the sound of guitar strings being played caught his attention. Looking back to the stage he saw a woman dressed in a simple black business suit. Dress pants and a single button blazer with nothing underneath holding a guitar. Her hair looked grey in the low lighting of the bar and it was then that he saw her open her mouth

"I just want revenge,

Feels like someone's up to something

Betrayal in the air, I'm losing my mind

Just another knife in my back

Pull them out and watch my pain pour out"

Her voice was nice but the performance itself was what really had everyone's attention. As she was singing she had stepped aside, guitar still in hand, to reveal a man tied to a chair. He seemed surprised at his current predicament.

"No memory is gonna save you

No memory is worth the pain you caused

And I just want revenge

And a little bit more, and a little bit more

Lower your defense"

She stopped strumming the guitar but the music still played in the background. The guitar transformed into a pair of gardening sheers. She bent down behind the man and when the sound of an ear splitting scream left his lips as he threw his head back it was obvious what she was doing. This was a public torture session.

"It might be petty but I don't care

It's not petty but I'm not scared

You might say I'm overreacting

You always try to, always try to"

There were about seven fingers covered in blood underneath the chair the man was sitting in. Tears where streaming down his face and he was looking around hysterically. His movement and blood must have loosed the rope that was used to secure him to the chair, and once the man realized he could move he shot up and began to run towards the door. There was only one problem, he was moving in slow motion. It was like watching an action movie sequence. While he was moving slow she was walking at a normal pace still singing. Her hands where covered in blood and the shears transformed yet again this time into an axe.

"Oh your demise is 'round the corner

No compromise, I'm taking over now"

She was next to him in no time and positioned herself to strike. Dabi was finally able to see her eyes. They were light purple, wide and crazed looking, but also very trained on her target. She swung the axe and the mans head came clean off spraying anyone that was close with a good amount of blood. The smirk on her face confirmed just how much she enjoyed herself, she even started to move her hips in time with the beat just as the song was ending.

The small group of people clapped loudly and Dabi was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice the stage was already empty and free of any blood or evidence.

Everyone went back to what they where doing before like nothing happened "Pretty interesting right?" Came the voice of the bartender once again.

"Who is she?" Dabi asked surprising himself.

"She goes by Siren," the old man must've been able to tell that Dabi wanted him to elaborate because he continued "the first time she came in she was wearing a school uniform, I think it was for Shiketsu High." Dabi nodded to the old man in thanks for the information and turned to finally leave the bar.

A few days later Dabi sat on a branch high up in a tree watching as students left school for the day. He didn't really want to recruit another high schooler, Himiko Toga was definitely enough for anyone to deal with. But there was something about her quirk that intrigued him and it could be helpful to the League. 'She has darker skin so she should stand out especially with that grey hair,' but there was no sign of anyone that looked like that. After everyone was gone Dabi jumped down from his hiding spot and proceeded to wander the streets. He'd come back another day to find the girl.

Once he was back in the city it didn't take long before Dabi was confronting some thugs in a back alley. "You're in our way!" One of them yelled pushing Dabi to the side "Look at him, looks like someone tried to burn him alive already" said another one in the back of the group. The man that was obviously the leader of the small group laughed "Haha, you're right, so this shouldn't take long then. Get him" His tone darkened at the last part, but Dabi was unperturbed. Smirking he muttered "Idiots" and a blue flame ignited in his hand as he prepared to attack.

Dabi had used his quirk too much in the fight and still got pretty beat up. Walking through the park that lead to his apartment he decided to sit down on a park bench. Touching the back of his head he felt a lump forming but thankfully there was no blood. He'd have a couple bruises, maybe even a black eye by the morning, but with his already scarred body who would know.

Since it was so late he wasn't surprised that no one was around, it also made it easier for him to close his eyes and finally let his body relax. He'd done everything he could up until this point to remain conscious, but he was quickly losing the battle.

There was beeping, very loud monotonous beeping. He opened his eyes slowly to see a ceiling that was unfamiliar to him. He sat up to inspect his surroundings and was very surprised. The upper class condo was ridiculous in size and yet minimal in its decor. But the most out of place thing was the woman standing in the kitchen a few feet from where he sat. She had waist length white hair and caramel colored skin.

'...It can't be,' he thought as he stood and quietly made his way to stand behind her. As he gave her another once over she turned to look at him completely unsurprised by his sudden presence. He immediately recognized those light purple irises.

"Glad to see you're okay. I found you asleep in the rain and you wouldn't wake up so I figured it best to bring you here."

It was her, Siren, he looked to the left where there was a huge floor to ceiling window and it was indeed raining. He touched his chest and finally realized that he was in nothing but his boxers.

He couldn't lie to himself he was somewhat concerned. "Is this how you find your victims?" She laughed for a minute and tried to calm herself before responding "I thought you looked familiar. You were at that bar a few blocks from here the other day, but to answer your question no. What you saw was just a hallucination. A figment of my imagination. As for your clothes I threw them in the dryer, they should be done any minute." She turned back to the kitchen counter she was originally facing and Dabi leaned over her shoulder to see her cutting a freshly made pizza. This girl was a weird mystery but there was no time like the present, he could finally talk to her and see if she could be an asset to the League. "You like cheese pizza?" She asked holding out a plate with two slices towards him.

"I'm not hungry" his stomach contradicted his words immediately with an audible growl. She smirked and bumped the plate into his chest forcing him to grab it. She watched as he grabbed a slice and took a tentative bite, his eyes widened just for a moment but she saw. "That bad?" Dabi turned and made his way back to the grey couch he'd woken up on before answering "Actually it's good." Since his back was to her he didn't see the smile that put on her face.

She appeared next to him with a plate of her own but chose to sit opposite him in the grey armchair. As he took another bite he glanced at the woman and took her in. She was younger than him (in high school according to the bartender), she has a hallucination quirk, she lives in this upscale condo, what do her parents do?, are they even alive?

"Why don't you just ask me whatever it is you're dying to ask," she spoke breaking his train of thought. "What can you read minds too?" He asked sarcastically but then she laughed yet again in his face. "Trust me if I could read minds I would never have to ask this many questions." At the sound of a beep from her phone that was sitting on the kitchen counter Siren got up and disappeared to another room without even checking the device. He finished the pizza and went to put the plate in the sink, as he turned to go back to the couch Siren returned with his now dry clothes. She handed them to him without a word and grabbed her phone, tapping the screen she began typing and walked towards another room.

Dabi was back in his clothes and debating what his next move should be. 'I need to find out more, she seems kinda talkative so I should be able to get something out of her but…' stepping out of the bathroom he noticed she was back in the armchair still typing something on her phone.

"So you save me from death, take me in, feed me, sounds like I found myself a personal hero," he said smirking behind her. She turned to him with a face that was practically impossible to read "I'm no hero. My quirk isn't suited for battle or anything like that anyway."

"Your probably right."

He walked to the door unsatisfied with her answer, but he needed to leave. As his hand reached the door hers appeared just as fast to cover his own. Just as quickly she replaced her hand with an umbrella "You don't have to return it, but it is still raining, don't want you to end up like before." She smiled at the thought and Dabi decided in that moment to try a last ditch effort. "Damn, you just handed me the perfect excuse to come back, only to snatch it away."

Her smile widened slightly and she couldn't help the giggle that came from her throat. "Once you're out that door you'll know where I live, nothings really stopping you from coming back." He smirked, opened the door and disappeared down the hall as the door closed behind him.

Siren was getting dressed in the employee locker room at The Lion's Den, a gentlemen's club in the heart of the city. It wasn't so much a strip club as much as it was a very high end host club. She'd been working here for almost a year now and she was one of the few who actually enjoyed it. She was wearing a simple red slip dress with a pair of black stiletto heels, as she sat down to finish applying her makeup in walks the one person she could truly call a friend and a fan, "Hey Hana."

She was a pretty fair skinned girl with red hair and green eyes, about five foot even compared to Sirens five foot nine inch frame. "Siren! Ok I gotta know what are you singing tonight?" Siren laughed, Hana was still new, she'd only been working here for a month but from the first time she heard Siren sing she immediately named herself as her number one fan. Thankfully she has been nothing but supportive and helpful, she was a great friend who understood Siren and her weird way about doing things. She didn't judge or question but she loved to give her input.

Siren reached into her nearby shoulder bag and pulled out a notebook, one of many that she owned, filled with song lyrics that she had written. She flipped through the notebook and found the page she was looking for before handing it to Hana.

"I'm doing 'What you Need' tonight-" "Aw, but you've done that one before" "I know and it's always a hit." "Then what's this?" Hana asked holding up the notebook. "Pick one of those and I'll sing it tomorrow night," "Really?!" "Yeah, I have music already made and a general idea of what I want the images to convey, but the final image is always better when I've had some practice."

"I get it."

"There's one more thing," Hana looked at Siren expectantly, "Would you mind recording tonights performance on my phone?"

"Only if you're going to post it online. You seriously need to share your talents with the world, you're way too good to be singing in bars."

"Thanks Hana, don't worry about me, my plan is already in motion." She starred at Siren noting how she didn't confirm or deny the request and waited for her to say it.

Siren sighed heavily and turned to face the red head. The look on Hana's face was hopeful and Siren couldn't help but to laugh internally. "Im going to post it online-" "That's more like it!" Hana smiled looking back to the notebook. Siren smiled and shook her head at the energetic woman as she made her way to the door and exited the locker room.

Thank you all for reading. It has been eight years since I last wrote or even updated anything on this site, but I must say I have had quite the surge of inspiration thanks to My Hero Academia and the oh so loveable Dabi (and Bakugo, but he'll get his own story for that). Anyway I have a few chapters of this already written I just need to refine them a bit and then I can post them. Please let me know what you think. See you in the next chapter!
