Authors Note
Hoi!
It's me again!
Yes, I am still somewhat alive (surprisingly), and I am still writing fanfiction (not surprisingly). I am so sorry about not updating in forever. I'm going to try to keep up with writing fanfictions better because I honestly really miss it.
Anyway, I was re-reading this recently. The first few chapters are *cough* interesting *cough*, but I like where it's going, so I will be continuing and hopefully finishing this fic!

Chloe sat in the hospital waiting room. She'd lost track of how many times she had come here since Adrien had gotten hurt. She could still remember the events that brought her here. It was three days ago, but the memory was still fresh, and still painful.
She was sitting on her balcony chair, staring into the night sky, her eyes still red from her last sob session. She loved sitting out here at night, when the sky was dark and the rest of Paris got ready for bed. It was quiet, serene, and beautiful.
And then.
Something flew out of the darkness. She turned to look, and there it was - a figure plummeting towards the ground at a terrifying speed. Her eyes went wide, and she got up, ran into her room, into the hallway, down the stairs, out the hotel doors, and into the street. There sat Nathalie, frozen, and at her feet - Adrien, unconscious, his medallion colored hair splayed out behind him and blood pooling at his side.
Since then, her days had been a blur of non-stop waiting. Waiting for news, waiting for updates, waiting for Adrien to wake up, waiting for hope. But, if nothing else, Chloe was used to waiting by now. Because Chloe had a secret, and she'd been waiting too long for the day that she would be brave enough to share it with the world.
It felt more like a burden than a secret, really. Secrets were lighthearted and silly, those whispers passed from one girl to another during a game of truth or dare in a third-grade sleepover. Those secrets were small, sweet, and rarely actually kept a secret. Chloe's secret was heavy, painful, and almost frightening. She tried to convince herself it wasn't real, but it was hopeless. So she carried it, day after day.
But she never told anyone. How could anyone understand it if she herself could not cope with it? So she kept it to herself, and went on pretending that she was still the same Chloe everyone always knew, the brat, the bully. She acted selfish and dumb and annoying and it almost scared her when no one noticed a difference. But it was a good thing, that they didn't see through her. Chloe wasn't sure what they'd do if they knew.
Because Chloe was lesbian, and she was in love with Ladybug.

Yup, you guessed it - Chloe was the person that talked to Nathalie and called the ambulance after Adrien got hurt!
