Chapter 64. Fighting Back.
EXT. ICE CHANNELS - MOMENTS LATER
[WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! JUVENILES BLUR past, like flying raptors, ZIGZAGGING wildly. Riding bareback, Hiccup Co. HURTLE through the narrow ICE CHANNELS - created by massive splits in the iceberg shelves. ]
"Ha!" Tadashi gloated while Hiro and his friends all rolled their eyes playfully.
RUFFNUT: Fly straight!
FISHLEGS: I don't want to die!
"Please do! Please do! Please do!" R, Ruf and Ruff all chanted softly.
This of course causes Heather to glared at them more specifically Ruffnut and Mrs. R nut Jorgenson. ( Pre Hidden World and Homecoming Ruffnuts. )
TUFFNUT: We can't fly these things!
FISHLEGS: Yeah, no kidding!
[Fishlegs barrels into a snowbank, sending several chunks right into Eret's face as rides inverted and HOLLERING.]
Everyone but villains all laughed at the riders failing to tame the baby dragons, and even more so when one of them got hurt as a result.
ASTRID: But won't that Bewilderbeast just take control of these guys, too?
HICCUP: They're babies. They don't listen to anyone!
"Yeah!" yelled Tuffnut. ( Pre Hidden World. ) while His Younger Version ( HTTYD 1. ), Tuf, And Tuff All High-five.
"Just like us!" Ruf finished for him.
The twin's parents sighed hopelessly, whilst every version of the twins all grin at each other, before banging their helmets together.
TUFFNUT: Yeah, just like us!
The Tuffnuts all blinked. Everyone else laughed.
[Gobber follows up the rear clumsily, STRUGGLING for control.]
GOBBER: This... is... very dangerous!
[He PULLS ALONGSIDE Hiccup and Valka.]
GOBBER: Some might suggest this is poorly conceived.
"He got that right!" Exclaimed Stoick, agreeing with the future version of his best friend.
Some other guests and vikings all nodded in agreement.
HICCUP: Well, it's a good thing that I never listen.
Laughter. "Forge' the dragons boyo, you're the one who never listens to anyone!" Gobber chortled. Causing all Hiccups to nod, admitting to the truth in Gobber's statement.
[A SHARP RIDGE RUSHES up at them. They're going to CRASH. Hiccup ROUNDS one side of it, and Gobber flies down the other side. They shout through gaps in the iceberg.]
GOBBER: So what IS your plan?!
HICCUP: Get Toothless back and kick Drago's-
[He's interrupted by another closure in the gaps of ice. They blast out of the other side.]
Everyone laughed but Vikings and villains.
Until there was silence in the HTTYD rows of seats for a moment, as shock registered with the other Vikings that little fishbone Hiccup had such a mouth on him. Then a sudden, big, booming laugh echoed around the room. The Vikings turned in their seats to see who the culprit was, many not surprised to see that it was Stoick.
"Fair play to you boy," He chuckled, soon more laughter followed.
GOBBER: Heads up!
[They SPLIT to avoid another peak and then reconvene, only to find another icy outcropping directly in their path.]
HICCUP: And that thing.
[Gobber HITS it, with a THUD and a YELP.]
Gobber winced and felt his face gingerly as This received some laughs from the audience (mostly from the twins!)
